- Chapter 75 - Arch-Rivals X Fake Heiress
Su Mi grasped Guan Yue’s hand, which was clutching her collar, and pulled her close.
Their slightly erratic breaths mingled like a long-awaited rain falling upon parched earth.
Su Mi stepped forward, sliding a leg between Guan Yue’s, her knee bumping against the door panel with a dull “thud.” This posture allowed her to pin the other woman against the door, her lips and tongue pressing deeper to drink in the sweetness of the other’s mouth.
The faint, sweet fragrance emanating from Guan Yue swirled around Su Mi’s nose. From her initial confusion and tentative response, Guan Yue gradually began to meet her movements, allowing Su Mi to invade.
Faced with this initiative, Su Mi naturally didn’t let her off easily. She explored deep into the other’s territory, finding that softness and coaxing it out to entwine with her own.
The lights weren’t on in the room. Only a sliver of hazy light peeked through the curtains that hadn’t been fully drawn. Darkness fuels the greed and desire in the human heart, tainting the surrounding air with an ambiguous atmosphere.
Su Mi pulled back slightly, resting their foreheads against each other. She steadied her breath, her gaze lingering on the other’s lips.
“Guan Yue,” Su Mi called her name softly, her voice still a bit hoarse.
“Hmm?” Guan Yue’s lips were slightly parted, and in the night, a faint glint of moisture could be seen on them.
Hearing the lingering, nasal tone in her voice, Su Mi felt as if her heart had been lightly scratched, an itch that couldn’t be soothed.
Guan Yue looked at her with unsteady breath, the hand resting on Su Mi’s waist slowly sliding upward. This was the movement Su Mi had taught her during their first rehearsal, how to place her hands and at this moment, it seemed to be wordlessly expressing something deeper.
Su Mi’s hand at the small of Guan Yue’s back tightened. When she leaned in for a deep kiss again, she lost her composure.
Their bodies pressed together seamlessly; they could even feel the rising temperature where they met, melting the string of logic in their minds.
Su Mi suddenly lifted her up. The jacket draped over Guan Yue’s shoulders fell away slowly, much like the shawl on the film set, but neither cared.
Guan Yue’s back was pressed against the door, her long legs wrapping around Su Mi’s waist like vines. Being lifted created a height difference that meant she no longer had to tilt her head up. Her hands moved to clasp behind Su Mi’s neck, her fingers dangling loosely.
Supporting the back of Guan Yue’s neck with one hand, Su Mi kissed her while carrying her toward the interior of the room. The room had already been organized, and there were no obstacles in their path, allowing Su Mi to reach the bedside smoothly.
Su Mi laid her down gently without breaking the kiss for a second. Her eyes opened slightly to see Guan Yue, who was eyes closed and fully immersed. Her hand landed on Guan Yue’s waist, tentatively and lightly stroking it.
Guan Yue flinched slightly but didn’t pull away, she remained focused on the kiss, pressing even closer.
Subsequently, Su Mi’s movements became much bolder.
Under the force of gravity, the zipper of Guan Yue’s thin jacket was slowly pulled down. The faint sound was buried under other noises, almost imperceptible. The final fastener was easily undone by Su Mi, and the outer garment was shed, revealing exquisite, jade-like collarbones.
Su Mi lowered her long lashes, her thin lips gently covering the heated skin.
“Cold, then hot…” Guan Yue murmured, unable for a moment to distinguish which sensation was the accurate one.
“Mhm.” Su Mi’s breath was ragged, her cold voice tinged with a low rasp, and her pale eyes grew deep and turbulent.
She pinned Guan Yue flat on the bed. Looking up with half-lidded eyes, Guan Yue’s breath was also labored, her chest rising and falling beneath the fabric.
Seeing her look so “easy to bully” made Su Mi unable to resist kissing her again. Their soft tongues intertwined repeatedly in a lingering, teasing dance. Guan Yue tilted her chin up to meet the kiss, her hands once again clutching Su Mi’s clothes.
Amidst the scorching breaths, a thin layer of sweat appeared on both their foreheads. Springtime slowly descended, lingering atop the peaks.
Su Mi suddenly straightened up and reached toward the head of the bed, pulling something over and tucking it under Guan Yue’s waist.
Feeling a bit strange, Guan Yue half-opened her eyes and frowned slightly. “What are you doing?”
Su Mi kissed her lips, her cold voice infused with threads of affection. “Something… to make you feel good.”
Immediately after, Su Mi pulled away again. Guan Yue reached out to keep her, but only her fingertips brushed against Su Mi’s smooth long hair, leaving a cool sensation on her skin.
Su Mi’s lowered eyes made it impossible to see the emotions within. Her white fingers tucked her long hair behind her ear, and then she lowered her head. Her ink-black hair scattered like silk across her back, undulating slightly with the movements of her neck and shoulders, sliding off and brushing against other places.
Soft lips and tongues touched, seeking sweetness, entwining and enveloping without leaving a gap. Guan Yue wanted to turn her head to escape the cramped sensation, feeling as though the oxygen in her mouth was being completely snatched away, but once the other felt her retreat, the offensive only increased.
The corners of her eyes turned slightly red, and a tear suddenly traced a path down, quickly disappearing into her hairline.
The dull sound of rain outside blurred Guan Yue’s perception, leaving her feeling dizzy and buoyant. Her slender fingers opened and closed, and the sheets beneath her were crumpled into a mess. She wanted to turn over and escape, but she felt like a fish stranded in the shallows. No matter how she struggled, she couldn’t escape the physical constraints, she could only lie there at the other’s mercy.
She thought dazedley that at this moment, Su Mi was the one who controlled her life and death.
Suddenly, the unlit room brightened for an instant as a flash of lightning streaked across the sky outside. A few seconds later, the rumble of thunder arrived belatedly.
Guan Yue seemed startled by the loud thunder, her whole body shuddering as a soft whimper escaped her mouth.
Only then did Su Mi lift her face, the moisture she hadn’t time to swallow trickling from the corner of her mouth. With heavy breath, she leaned down to embrace the trembling woman, planting gentle, soothing kisses by her temple.
After several claps of thunder passed, Guan Yue finally calmed down.
As Su Mi was about to kiss the corner of her mouth, Guan Yue seemed to remember something. She tilted her head away, her voice raspy and tinged with a hint of disdain: “You are not allowed to kiss me again right now…”
Su Mi gave a silent, breathless laugh. “Then can I kiss somewhere else?”
Guan Yue’s body stiffened, and she “fiercely” held the person in place to stop her from moving. “You can’t do that either.”
Su Mi looked at her: “Why?”
Guan Yue didn’t want to meet her eyes like this right now. She turned her face slightly away. “Because… I don’t like it.”
“But just now you clearly…” Su Mi paused mid-sentence, her finger gently brushing away the moisture. “It seemed like you liked it.”
Just that light touch caused tears to well up in Guan Yue’s eyes again. She arched her body against Su Mi.
Su Mi exhaled sharply, looking as if she were about to descend again.
Guan Yue panicked and tried to pull her, but was pinned down instead.
Su Mi hovered over her, biting her ear: “Didn’t you say you don’t like it? Then let’s try a few more times. Eventually, there will be a time you like.”
Hearing this, Guan Yue felt a sudden shiver. Before she could say anything else, she was pulled back into the bottomless whirlpool of surrender.
On a deep, rainy night, the only advantage was that it wasn’t quiet. The hotel windows weren’t soundproofed, and the gale lashed the rain against the glass with a pitter-patter. The two figures on the bed, one high and one low, were entangled and inseparable.
Tiny beads of sweat slid down Guan Yue’s arched neck. Her propped-up waist lifted slightly, only settling back down after a long while.
The next moment, ignoring her own soreness and lack of strength, she hugged Su Mi’s waist and snuggled obediently, her tone softening into a pout: “Su Mi, my waist is so sore, I want to sleep.”
Afraid Su Mi wouldn’t agree, she tilted her head to kiss Su Mi’s chin, and even the lips she had “disdained.”
Tasting the flavor, Guan Yue frowned slightly. Although it wasn’t as scary as she imagined, she still didn’t quite like it.
Su Mi had never been one to turn away prey that delivered itself to her door. She dissolved all of Guan Yue’s unspoken dissatisfaction between their lips and teeth.
Guan Yue must have been truly exhausted; by the end, she was in a daze. It was Su Mi who carried her to the bathroom to clean her up. During this process, Guan Yue only opened her eyes blearily once before letting Su Mi wash her and change her into clean clothes.
Once finished, Su Mi tucked her into bed and turned up the air conditioning slightly.
After completing all this, she finally went into the bathroom to shower. When she emerged, a faint mist of water still clung to her. Guan Yue was already fast asleep on the bed, her cheek pressed against the pillow, a few strands of hair sticking up slightly.
Su Mi lay down beside her. The person next to her seemed to sense her presence and moved closer. Once Su Mi pulled her into her arms, the eyes-closed Guan Yue nuzzled her nose against Su Mi’s neck, sniffing lightly. Likely smelling a familiar scent, she soon went still, leaving only the sound of long, steady breathing.
Su Mi also closed her eyes peacefully.
The two had fooled around for half the night, so it was Su Mi who woke up first. However, when she woke, Guan Yue was no longer in her arms, she seemed to be a bit hot, as her hands and feet were outside the blanket.
Su Mi checked the time. It was nine in the morning. Compared to their usual early call times for the set, this was quite late. Fortunately, filming was suspended today, so they didn’t need to go.
Su Mi picked up her phone and found several messages from the director sent last night, asking about her and Guan Yue’s safety. She then remembered that she had been so busy “fooling around” that she forgot to report back. She quickly sent a message explaining she had gone to sleep early and included Guan Yue in that excuse.
The director replied quickly, saying that Su Mi’s assistant had already explained. She simply assumed the two were exhausted from recent filming and had crashed immediately upon returning, even feeling a small pang of guilt.
Su Mi scrolled through the group chat and saw photos of blocked roads. Word was that local authorities were organizing repairs, but they had to wait for the rain to stop. She walked to the window and tugged the curtain aside, today’s rain showed no sign of stopping.
Su Mi pulled the curtains shut again and looked at the sleeping person on the bed. She adjusted the temperature, tucked Guan Yue’s restless limbs back under the covers, and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
When she came out, she ran right into Guan Yue, who was tiptoeing toward the door, preparing to leave.
Seeing Su Mi appear, Guan Yue froze and took two steps back nervously. Su Mi’s clothes were a bit large for her, looking somewhat baggy.
“Where are you going?” Droplets of water still hung on Su Mi’s face, her damp eyes appearing deep and piercing.
Guan Yue’s face was flustered, her hands hidden behind her back. “Go… going back.”
There was a moment of silence between them before Su Mi spoke first: “About last night…”
But before Su Mi could finish the sentence, the other woman interrupted quickly, “It was a consensual thing, no need to mention it again.”
The air seemed to freeze for an instant. Guan Yue felt the temperature around her drop sharply, as if stepping into the dead of winter.
Suddenly, Su Mi took a step toward her, her imposing aura pressing in. Guan Yue was forced to retreat until her back hit the wall, with nowhere left to go.
The faint smile on Su Mi’s face vanished completely, replaced by a calm, cold gaze that locked onto her.
“Guan Yue, try saying that one more time.”
