A Delicate Beauty Holding a Villain’s Script - Chapter 3
“An Omega? Where is there an Omega?”
Li Rangnian was dazed, failing to react as he echoed the other’s question with confusion.
Xiao Jinyun stared at the stunning beauty before him, unable to look away. He had never seen such an exquisite Omega, delicate features, eyes rimmed with red, a slightly flushed nose, and saturated, crimson lips that made one want to take a bite just to see if they would burst with juice.
Even the youth’s figure was alluring: broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long, straight legs. A simple shirt was worn with an air of seduction. The light-permeable fabric outlined a graceful silhouette, making one itch to tear it open and leave lingering marks with lips and tongue.
Wife, wife, wife!!!
Whether it was an illusion or not, Li Rangnian felt as though a large, fluffy tail was wagging incessantly behind his new roommate, nearly rotating like a propeller.
A second later, Li Rangnian realized what was happening and answered apologetically, “Ah, I see… um, you’ve made a mistake. I’m an Alpha.”
Crack… Xiao Jinyun’s heart shattered into pieces.
Li Rangnian looked around in confusion: “I think I heard something breaking?”
“You—you’re an Alpha?” The handsome guy outside had a bright and cheerful appearance, with sword-like brows and starry eyes. He stood tall and sturdy in the doorway, looking a bit silly.
His heroic features flickered with disbelief. He stared at the beauty, scanning him up and down several times. When seeking confirmation, his pupils dilated unconsciously, making his eyes appear round and bright, very much like a large dog.
Li Rangnian didn’t understand what the other was doubting. “I’ve already entered the dormitory; doesn’t that prove my identity?”
After the initial shock, the Alpha, whose emotions had gone through a roller coaster, shut his mouth obediently. He lugged his suitcase inside, opened it on the floor, and began taking out various daily necessities. As he did, he couldn’t help but steal glances at the “willow-in-the-wind” beauty before him.
So exquisite, just like a doll.
How can an Alpha look like this! This is cheating! Xiao Jinyun wailed internally. The “wife” he fell for at first sight turned out to be an Alpha, what was the difference between this and taking off your pants only to find out you share the same “model”?
But he’s really so pretty, perfect from head to toe, like a sweet little cake. He’s definitely my future wife! Xiao Jinyun’s broken heart somehow mended itself again.
Li Rangnian realized belatedly that he hadn’t brought anything with him…
He quickly recalled his memories before transmigration and finally remembered that Bai Yan had prepared everything for him a day in advance and sent it to the Binhai Campus. He just needed to go pick it up. However, even picking up packages was exhausting; the “delicate Alpha” didn’t want to move at all.
There was another sound at the door. Qin Yuan, who had been gone for a while, stood outside holding a large box, the veins on the back of his hands bulging.
“Oh, this is so embarrassing…” Li Rangnian’s eyes lit up, and he pitter-pattered over with a cheerful tone. “Thank you, Brother Qin Yuan!”
Qin Yuan had carried such a heavy box up seven floors without breaking a sweat. He set the box down and rotated his wrist as if it were nothing. Before entering, he had sensed another strange aura. His physiological repulsion toward other Alphas made him feel irritable.
Upon entering, Qin Yuan’s gaze locked directly onto the Alpha squatting on the floor. He looked down with a cold, detached expression: “Hello. You must be Li-mei’s roommate?”
Hostiles detected! Alarms blared in Xiao Jinyun’s mind. Alphas naturally respected the strong, but they also loved to compete. Xiao Jinyun slowly stood straight, tilted his head, and adopted a provocative look. “And you are?”
The two Alphas were similar in height. Standing face-to-face, their presence was overbearing. Hostility crackled between them as their gazes met.
Li Rangnian, being carefree, had been happy since Qin Yuan entered. He opened the box himself to find it packed with daily necessities: toiletries, skincare products, clothes, suppressants, and a small medical kit.
The liquid inside the suppressants was pale yellow. To use it, one simply inserted a needle through the soft stopper, drew the liquid, and injected it into the gland to effectively suppress an Alpha’s arousal.
Interested in pharmacology, Li Rangnian held up a vial to inspect it closely, completely oblivious to the tension beside him.
“I am Li-mei’s friend, Qin Yuan.” The man’s deep eyes softened for a brief moment at the mention of the youth. “Li-mei’s health is poor. As his roommate, I hope you can take good care of him. If anything is wrong, please notify me immediately.”
Xiao Jinyun raised an eyebrow. “You don’t need to tell me. I’ll get along with him just fine.”
“I hope so,” Qin Yuan chuckled. His sharp features took on a cutting, aggressive edge, like a wolf lurking on a snowy plain.
Finding no common ground, the two stopped looking at each other and simultaneously shifted their gaze to Li Rangnian.
The beauty was holding a vial. A beam of sunlight slanted in from the window, bathing his face in a soft glow and gilding his gorgeous features. Even the tiny fine hairs on his face were clearly visible. His expression was curious, exploring the medicine like a small animal, reminding one of a fluffy cat or dog.
His naturally affectionate “peach blossom” eyes were filled with brilliant light. If one were looked at with such a focused gaze, they would probably be willing to die the next second.
The Alphas felt a subtle sting of jealousy toward the object in the beauty’s hand.
“…What are you looking at me for?” Li Rangnian glanced at them strangely, his tone soft as if he were acting spoiled. “No looking!”
Li Rangnian’s eyes were naturally large, his pupils dark and round. Tears brimmed in his eyes, making them look as if they were shrouded in a misty rain, utterly pitiable. He looked like he was about to cry.
Qin Yuan felt his heart itch. For a split second, an extremely inappropriate thought flashed through his mind: It would be even better if he cried harder.
In that case, the beauty’s eyes would surely be red, he’d be sobbing, cursing him with a sweet, cloying voice, and his whole body would be a flush of pink…
Qin Yuan felt a rare pang of shame. He coughed awkwardly, his shifting gaze meeting Xiao Jinyun’s, clearly seeing a flash of guilt in the other’s eyes. In this moment, he was eerily in sync with Xiao Jinyun.
“…”
“…”
The two Alphas looked at each other and sneered simultaneously before turning away at the same time.
Li Rangnian couldn’t be bothered with them. He happily organized his things as if playing a game. Looking at his tidy bed, a proud little expression appeared on his face: “Hmph, I really am amazing!”
Every movement and smile was vivid and lively.
Xiao Jinyun immediately praised him with a grin: “So amazing!”
Qin Yuan’s lips quirked up slightly: “Impressive.”
Not long after, the other two roommates arrived: Jin Si, who wore glasses, and Yan Xuhan, who had flaxen hair.
Qin Yuan greeted them with his usual cold expression, his words carrying a deeper meaning: Don’t provoke Li Rangnian; if he’s bullied, tell me immediately.
Normally, this kind of behavior would be seen as arrogant and unlikeable. However, the moment the new roommates saw the little beauty standing behind Qin Yuan, their eyes glazed over and their backs straightened. They all nodded obediently and promised to comply.
Finally feeling at ease, Qin Yuan took Li Rangnian to the cafeteria.
The cafeteria offered a wide variety of food with strange names, but the taste was surprisingly delicious. Li Rangnian had the appetite of a kitten but was greedy, insisting on ordering a massive plate. Consequently, he felt stuffed after eating only a small portion.
“Ugh… I ate too much…” The beauty’s eyes were red, his expression piteous as if he might cry at any moment. He dropped his chopsticks and refused to eat another bite.
Qin Yuan felt his heart ache. Ignoring the stares of those around him, he sat beside the youth and gently rubbed his small stomach, his voice exceptionally tender: “It’ll feel better with a rub… is that more comfortable?”
Li Rangnian regretted being greedy. He sobbed softly, tears threatening to fall, which the man tenderly wiped away with his hand. The warmth from the hand transferred through the fabric to his abdomen. The pressure was just right, and soon the bloated feeling vanished.
The beauty was clearly comfortable; his eyes narrowed slightly, and he stayed perfectly still and obedient.
“Better now. Thank you, Brother Qin Yuan.” After finishing his “cry,” Li Rangnian felt embarrassed and pushed at the man beside him. “Quick, sit back over there!”
Qin Yuan smiled helplessly, what a little ingrate. But he still listened, sat across from him, and finished the youth’s plate without any hint of distaste.
Little did they know, their actions had already been photographed and posted on the school forum, once again causing a sensation among the gossip-hungry crowd.
The first few days of school were filled with tedious errands. No matter how much Qin Yuan wanted to be near Li Rangnian, he couldn’t find the time, especially since they were in different dorms and majors with conflicting schedules.
During these days, without Qin Yuan’s constant supervision, Li Rangnian had a great time and quickly became close with his three roommates.
051 reminded him about the mission several times, but unfortunately, Li Rangnian hadn’t even run into the Protagonist Shou yet, so the mission was temporarily shelved.
Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, half a month had passed, leading up to the Binhai Campus Opening Ceremony.
