Le Le is a monster.
She has no parents and her origin is a mystery. When she was taken into the welfare institution, she was just a bag of sickness and couldn’t even speak.
Until one day, she suddenly gained the ability to hear inner thoughts.
That’s when she discovered a secret: she was a villain who needed to be reformed.
Her very existence was a mistake that needed correction.
Le Le pulled at the corner of her mouth.
Then these “Saviors” (or “Protagonists”) are terrible actors. Their attempts at sincerity are less real and less fervent than the warmth of a stray dog licking her palm in the alley.
Later, an out-of-control truck roared toward her.
In a moment of crisis, a hand, withered like a dry stick, suddenly dragged her into an embrace.
She thought it was just a new trick by some Savior.
But strangely, this time, she heard no inner thoughts. Only a dead, silent blankness.
Driven by curiosity, Le Le followed this mysterious old woman home.
From then on, she had a new name, Jiang Le, and she stumbled upon the second secret of her life:
Her new guardian, Jiang Congyue, was growing backward through time.
This small, elderly woman also seemed to be a monster.
Years later, Jiang Le firmly took control of the colossal Jiang Corporation.
And Jiang Congyue, the woman who had once seemingly died in her arms, reappeared after years of feigning death.
Now, she possesses dazzling beauty and vibrant youth.
That face, in fact, looks exactly like hers.
Jiang Le pressed the person tightly into her embrace. In the shadow unseen by others, her lips slowly curved into a satisfied, almost obsessive, smile.
She didn’t care what secrets lay behind all this.
After all,
Shouldn’t a monster be paired with a monster?
