“You are depraved, foolish, and inherently wicked. Aside from that face of yours, you have absolutely no redeeming qualities. You are the kind of vicious cannon fodder that everyone loves to hate!”

Yet, as soon as the System finished its critique, it watched in stunned silence as the paragons of every world—the chosen ones, the geniuses, the elites—fell head over heels for Yuan Su. They fought tooth and nail, tearing into one another just for a chance to win his favor.

Yuan Su looked on with an innocent blink. “But I didn’t even do anything.”

System: “…?”

[Arc 1: The Beautiful, Helpless Young Widower]

Natural disasters have struck, biological mutations are rampant, and the foundations of human society have crumbled. Yuan Su is frail and delicate, possessing zero survival skills in this post-apocalyptic wasteland. To secure a powerful protector, he backstabs his own husband and throws himself into the arms of another.

But after his husband’s death, every man in the base who tries to “claim” the beautiful young widower meets a gruesome end. Countless men are willing to die for a taste of the forbidden fruit, but they all draw their last breaths before they can even touch his hand.

Then, the husband “returns from the grave.” With a cold, terrifying efficiency, he disposes of every man who dared to covet his wife. His pale, handsome face is splattered with blood as he pulls his trembling little wife into his arms, a twisted, haunting smile on his lips.

“Don’t be afraid,” he whispers tenderly. “I’ve already taken care of those pests who tried to get between us.”

[Arc 2: The “Green Tea” Beta Pretending to be an Omega]

Yuan Su is a Beta obsessed with marrying up. He flutters between various Alphas with a practiced smile, his eyes set firmly on marrying into a wealthy family. Between hosting parties every three days and attending galas every five, he finally succeeds in landing in bed with the most powerful Alpha in Jiang City.

Forced into the marriage, Yuan Su gets exactly what he wanted: the life of a wealthy socialite. He cuts ties with all his “backup” suitors—or so it seems.

“You know exactly why we’re married,” his husband says, his expression aloof and his voice dripping with disdain. “You used pheromones to lure me in. I will never love you.”

That very night, Yuan Su packs his bags and moves out. At midnight, he posts a photo to his social media—eyes red from crying, the tip of his nose flushed. The caption reads: [I don’t need a lot of money… I just need a lot of love…]

The Alpha husband sees the post and starts to smirk, only to see the comments left by his own childhood best friends:

[Sister-in-law, if he doesn’t love you, I will.]

[Just get a divorce. What’s the point of staying with a pretender like him?]

[Looking at the background, are you near my place? I’m coming down to get you.]

[Arc 3: The Picky Vampire Who Only Judges by Looks]

As tensions between vampires and humans reach a breaking point, Yuan Su—a shallow, beautiful aristocrat of a vampire, becomes a prime target. This young master has a peculiar quirk: he only drinks the blood of the “pure.”

If they’re ugly, he can’t stomach it. If they’re handsome, they’re usually too “experienced” for his taste. Consequently, the young master is usually starving.

Sensing a weakness, the Vampire Hunters send in their best members to go undercover, hoping to lure him into a trap. But as they send one agent after another, they never get the “mission accomplished” signal. Instead, the number of blood-slaves kneeling at the young master’s feet only grows.

One night, a seemingly loyal and honest servant sheds his disguise. He presses a large hand against the young master’s soft, flat stomach and asks with his usual chilling politeness: “Are you ready for dinner, my dear Master?”
