- Chapter 75 - The Night in Full Bloom
Shen Zhibing’s “let nature take its course” was whispered, and it vanished almost as soon as the words left her lips. If not for the bursts of warm, moist air puffing into her ear, Qi Zheng would have truly thought she misheard.
After saying those soul-stirring words, Shen Zhibing didn’t pull away; instead, her hand slid from Qi Zheng’s nape down to her spine, and then she gently embraced her.
Their dance steps swayed with the music, brewing an intoxicating fragrance in this quiet room. Gradually, Qi Zheng felt the scent of President Shen’s perfume fade, replaced by the natural fragrance of her body.
Shen Zhibing’s fingertips followed her owner’s will, wandering around, completely disregarding the other’s reaction. Qi Zheng stiffened almost instantly. A soft chuckle came to her ear, but the movement on her back didn’t stop, almost as if she were intentionally messing around.
“President Shen, you… this isn’t good,” Qi Zheng said intermittently, her breathing almost erratic.
Shen Zhibing’s heart wasn’t as calm as her face suggested. She had learned a few tricks beforehand, but she had no practical experience, and she didn’t know how long this bluster could last.
But she was always a person who hated to lose. She didn’t want to be mocked by Qi Zheng, who might even secretly find her less capable than Lin Muyun. However, Lin Muyun’s nearly ashen face at the wedding tonight was indeed a great relief. Even if Shen Zhibing no longer had any lingering feelings for Lian Ao, she felt like she had vented some frustration.
Thinking this, her mood became much lighter. Her fingertips grew playful with the change in her mood, finally tracing circles repeatedly on that delicate, smooth skin.
Qi Zheng could no longer tolerate her being so presumptuous. Since President Shen wasn’t behaving, she had no choice but to be more assertive. She wasn’t one to simply submit; losing the initiative would also make her uneasy.
Qi Zheng increased her grip and gently pinched Shen Zhibing’s incredibly soft waist, and as expected, she heard a soft moan: “You’re bullying me.”
“Aren’t you tormenting me just the same?” Qi Zheng tried her best to keep her breathing steady but couldn’t evade the intrusion of the red lips.
Shen Zhibing had moved from her ear to her lips, playing there tantalizingly close. Their breaths intertwined, and the temperature of their cheeks and bodies rose simultaneously. Even though there wasn’t much clothing left on them, it still felt hot.
Shen Zhibing lightly touched Qi Zheng’s lips, immediately retreating after the contact, then touching again, pulling away, and finally slowly pressing closer, murmuring, “Will this make amends?”
What more was there to say? Anything was acceptable. Having reached this point, Qi Zheng didn’t hesitate. President Shen had shown enough initiative to convey her attitude. Since it was an enthusiastic invitation, how could she disappoint?
Qi Zheng allowed Shen Zhibing to deepen the kiss for a while. Seizing the moment to catch her breath, she took the initiative back, forcefully and directly kissing her again, carrying her unique blend of tenderness and firmness.
Shen Zhibing wrapped her arms around Qi Zheng’s neck, yet she couldn’t resist the pressure of Qi Zheng leaning in. Her soft waist arched back, almost forming a right angle. Far from asking her to stop, she utilized her body’s flexibility to the extreme. The luxurious and exquisite gown could no longer restrain Shen Zhibing, and with Qi Zheng’s cooperation, she broke free from her chrysalis.
The Mermaid Queen could finally roam freely in the gentle ocean provided by Qi Zheng, deeply moved as many parts of her were nourished. This was completely different from the aimless wandering and confusion she felt while drifting alone in the sea.
The music stopped, but their dance steps didn’t. From the room to the bathroom, the consistently warm environment allowed them to fully relax, setting the beautiful prelude for tonight’s feast.
Shen Zhibing didn’t feel cold at all. Even though she was in the bathroom, she was pressed against the cold Italian imported marble counter. The rapidly accumulating heat was poised for action, transforming her into a volcano on the verge of eruption.
The spraying hot water couldn’t separate their constantly tight lips. Obeying their inner desires, they returned to the most primitive state of life, without any ornamentation, and even less need for concealment.
Fully, sincerely, and frankly displaying themselves to each other, making this night extraordinary.
This was probably the most perfunctory and rushed bath Shen Zhibing had ever taken in her life, yet she didn’t feel any dissatisfaction; instead, she was filled with expectation.
“Let’s go… back,” she said brokenly, her voice as light as a kitten’s.
Qi Zheng smiled at her. Using a towel hanging nearby, she dried their semi-wet hair, then switched to a larger one, simultaneously wiping away the traces left by the hot water.
It was already pitch black outside, but the room was not completely silent. Shen Zhibing bit her lip, finally showing her nervousness.
But she yearned more than ever before, hoping that the scene in her dream could truly reappear. She needed Qi Zheng, she needed her warmth, she needed her closeness, she needed her to truly interact with her emotionally.
Shen Zhibing became dazed only during the tender kisses. The part of her dream that she could never continue was being written into reality by Qi Zheng’s actions.
Both were novices, so they could only be mutually accommodating; neither could fault the other.
Shen Zhibing was surprised, yet suddenly delighted. For her, this was quite a pleasant surprise.
But she was truly exhausted. Tonight’s wedding and the subsequent upheaval had almost depleted all her energy. She didn’t even have time to agree to Qi Zheng’s suggestion before falling into a deep sleep.
She slept peacefully and soundly, tear stains still lingering at the corners of her eyes. Her smooth arm had just released from the headboard railing, and shallow red marks remained on her palm.
Qi Zheng gently brushed the damp hair from her forehead, gazed at her for a moment, and lightly kissed her forehead.
Shen Zhibing hadn’t slept so soundly and deeply for a long time. Most of the time, she slept alongside her work. Only tonight did her long-standing frustration finally find the right outlet and achieve complete release.
Someone gently and meticulously cleaned up after her, and the sticky feeling didn’t affect her sleep quality.
Qi Zheng’s clumsy yet sincere performance did not disappoint her.
When everything was taken care of, Qi Zheng hesitated for a moment but decided to stay there. She gently lifted the quilt and cautiously lay down.
Shen Zhibing wasn’t used to sleeping with someone. When the mattress vibrated, she subconsciously frowned, then hugged herself and moved a little toward the edge of the bed.
Qi Zheng wanted to pull her closer but was afraid of disturbing her sleep, so she simply moved closer, ensuring that President Shen wouldn’t catch a cold because of it.
Qi Zheng stared blankly at the ceiling, which was pitch black and invisible. But she knew very clearly that after tonight, President Shen would no longer be merely President Shen to her.
The next day was New Year’s Day, a company holiday, but Qi Zheng’s biological clock hadn’t changed. She was awakened by the light outside the window and was momentarily dazed before remembering where she was. Shen Zhibing, who had been sleeping with her back to her on the edge of the bed, had somehow nestled closer, her arms tightly wrapped around Qi Zheng’s waist, almost half of her body pressing against her.
Their legs were also intertwined under the covers, and a thought suddenly occurred to Qi Zheng: entangled.
The memories of last night gradually became clear. In the darkness, she couldn’t see all of President Shen’s expressions, but her bright eyes, followed by her shy, hidden, yet strong demeanor, were deeply etched in her mind.
She thought that she would probably never forget this night for the rest of her life.
Shen Zhibing slept like an elegant and lazy cat. She rested her head on Qi Zheng’s shoulder, seemingly preferring this new “pet,” which was harder yet more reliable than a pillow. Long eyelashes, a straight nose, and sensual lips—her beauty was unfazed even in this most pristine moment of the morning.
Qi Zheng gently traced her features with her hand. Her gaze only held a trace of struggle at the very beginning, followed by boundless tenderness.
She hadn’t expected things with Shen Zhibing to progress so quickly, but since it was “letting nature take its course,” she would follow the will of heaven and their hearts.
She leaned closer and whispered soundlessly into Shen Zhibing’s ear: “I will take responsibility.”
Shen Zhibing woke up an hour later than her. When she sensed someone next to her, she nearly kicked the person off. Fortunately, she woke up in time, remembered what happened last night, and stopped her rapid attempt to flee from the person.
Qi Zheng was amused and annoyed by her sudden startled movement. Looking at Shen Zhibing’s pure and stunningly beautiful face, she slowly moved her gaze away and awkwardly greeted her: “Good morning, President Shen.”
Shen Zhibing regained her composure, nodded, and replied, “Good morning to you too.”
It seemed there was no need for further words; the body’s reaction had fully explained everything. Neither of them had amnesia, but the beauty that occurred in the pitch-black night truly felt like a dream.
Since waking up this morning, Qi Zheng’s mind had been replaying the stunning sight of President Shen in full bloom yesterday. Whether it was the dance steps and twirls at the wedding that astonished everyone present, or the posture and flexibility that only amazed her afterward, all were unforgettable.
Some beauty, once seen, makes everything else seem mediocre.
