They Are Archenemies, But They Have A Child - Chapter 40
Chapter 40: Loss of Control
The moment the divine senses formed, the red and white figures eagerly and intimately coiled around each other, thoroughly licking each other’s bodies. Their tails intertwined with a force that seemed to want to merge the other into itself; neither was willing to release their grip even slightly.
This coupling was much smoother than the last. Yun Qingwu’s nostrils were filled with the scent of burning incense. Compared to the sensory stimulation, the images that couldn’t be suppressed in his mind were what made him suffer more.
It was in the Mind Realm.
He and Cold Lici were intimate, skin to skin. His teeth gently chafed that pale, flushed neck.
The scorching sensation and the rapidly beating pulse—those feelings he had previously tried his utmost to forget—burst forth at this moment…
His breathing became rapid. The pair of horns on his forehead became uncontrollably visible and then hidden again. The tail behind him suddenly lashed out with a bang, but he restrained it and pulled it back.
Yun Qingwu couldn’t help but open his eyes to look at the person opposite him, only to find that the other person was not much calmer than he was.
Cold Lici’s eyes were tightly shut, a fine sheen of sweat appearing on his forehead. The scent of burning incense and snow mountains, after reaching its peak, was gradually covered by a blending scent of mint.
The skin that had once become hot under his hands, the lost gaze, and the low, rising moans in his ears now uncontrollably clamored in his mind.
His tightly clenched teeth couldn’t help but loosen, and he let out a muffled groan.
A pair of fox ears suddenly sprouted from the top of his head. The eight tails behind him restlessly swept around, as if trying to grasp a point of support.
Yun Qingwu stared at the brilliantly glowing demon mark on Cold Lici’s forehead, his heart pounding like a drum, feeling incredibly parched. His tail flickered, irresistibly extending forward.
Just as it was about to touch, the golden eyes that were previously closed suddenly opened. The gaze, now a vertical pupil, held a trace of passion-induced haze, staring at the equally vertical-pupiled blue eyes.
Yun Qingwu pulled back a shred of rationality. His tail tried to retreat, but the moment it pulled back an inch, it was completely entangled by a fluffier fox tail.
The dual stimulation from the divine sense and the body surged violently, snapping the rationality Yun Qingwu struggled to maintain. His gaze fell upon the pair of pale, thin lips, and his eyes gradually became heated.
He remembered longing for them in the Mind Realm but being unable to attain them.
He tentatively leaned over, slowly moving closer. He stared intently at that spot, but his heart uncontrollably pounded as if trying to leap out of his chest.
Cold Lici lowered his eyes slightly, watching the growing heat approaching him. He did not pull away. He couldn’t articulate the reason; he was simply following the instinct of the moment.
He looked at those lips, which had a pronounced tubercle and were in stark contrast to his sharp facial features, and couldn’t help but grind his teeth, as if they were a delicious treat delivered to his door.
Smack.
The hot lips pressed against his. Cold Lici blinked, momentarily stunned.
Yun Qingwu pulled back immediately after the contact, slightly widening the distance. Their breaths mingled. Seeing no resistance from Cold Lici, he quickly kissed him again. This time, he did not easily let go, gently grinding and sucking on those unexpectedly soft lips, as if savoring them.
The heat and moisture on his lips captivated Cold Lici. Subconsciously, he didn’t want to let go. So, he instinctively followed Yun Qingwu’s movements and kissed him back.
In intimate actions, a response is often the best accelerant.
The two pairs of lips intertwined. Initially, it was just tentative light sucking and chafing, but it slowly turned into fierce nibbling.
Their tongues fought to steal the air in each other’s mouths, fiercely yet clingingly licking each other’s teeth.
The temperature in the room abruptly rose, infused with a steaming heat of ambiguity. Amidst the dense scent of mint, the last vestiges of rationality were close to dissipating.
Yun Qingwu embraced Cold Lici toward him. Simultaneously, Cold Lici single-handedly wrapped his arm around Yun Qingwu’s snow-white hair. For a moment, neither could be pulled apart, clinging to each other, unwilling to show weakness.
Abundant spiritual energy circulated around them. Cold Lici let out a comfortable, low moan. He pulled away slightly and then kissed Yun Qingwu’s slightly rounded ears, grinding them with his teeth over and over.
Yun Qingwu gasped breathlessly, reaching out to rub the fox ears. Both groaned simultaneously, their eyes darkening a little further.
The red and white tails clungingly wrapped around each other, but this small contact seemed only to be drinking poison to quench thirst. Yun Qingwu couldn’t help but reach out to stroke the garment of the person in his arms…
“Chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp”
A sudden burst of loud bird calls sounded outside.
“Chirp chirp chirp Sovereign Lord, where are you? Calling Sovereign Lord! Sovereign Lord, Sovereign Lord, where are you, woo woo woo woo—”
Cold Lici’s movement paused. The rationality that had been sinking suddenly returned completely. He abruptly pulled away, leaning against one end of the bed, closed his eyes, and desperately tried to calm his breathing and the physical changes.
Yun Qingwu leaned against the other end, the blue sea in his eyes fluctuating, unable to say whether it was disappointment or reluctance.
After a long moment, Cold Lici was the first to get out of bed. He looked at the cradle. Xiao Dao was soundly asleep inside. His voice was still slightly hoarse, but his tone had returned to calm: “It’s done.”
Yun Qingwu watched Cold Lici pick up Xiao Dao, said nothing more, and nodded: “Alright.”
As Cold Lici opened the door, Yun Qingwu called out: “Cold Lici.”
Cold Lici stopped but did not turn his head.
Yun Qingwu: “If you commit evil again, I will not spare you next time.”
Cold Lici scoffed: “You dare try.”
He then paused and added: “Some truths don’t necessarily need to be fully investigated.”
With that, he vanished from the spot before Yun Qingwu could react.
…
Mount Yosu.
Cold Lici walked into the Li Palace with Xiao Dao in one hand.
The small demons, seeing their Demon Lord who hadn’t returned for a month, immediately tensed up, fearing that the Demon Lord might grab one of them for the searing box if he was displeased.
After all, the Chief had been locked up since the last time he was put in the searing box and still hadn’t been released.
In the midst of the silence, an abrupt commotion rang out.
“Sovereign Lord, Sovereign Lord, you’re finally back! I thought—”
Cold Lici coldly glanced at the chattering Dan Mu who was rushing over. Dan Mu immediately covered his mouth, silently following him into the main hall.
Once the hall door closed, Dan Mu finally released his hand and circled Cold Lici: “It’s great that you’re okay, Sovereign Lord! I thought that smelly god was lying to me!”
At the mention of Yun Qingwu, Cold Lici’s eyes flickered unnaturally, but quickly returned to normal: “Get to the point.”
Dan Mu regretfully replied, “Oh.” He hadn’t had a chance to ask about Xiao Dao yet, but he looked at Cold Lici’s face.
He instinctively felt it was best not to bring up that topic, so he changed to the main issue: “Recently, my kin brought news. There is still a Suppressing Ancient Green Lamp (镇古青灯) left somewhere in the world.”
Cold Lici’s heart stirred. The shadow cast by the child over the past few days vanished. He looked at Dan Mu: “Where?”
