- Chapter 100 - Long Time No See, My Tang Tang Is Still As Adorable As Ever
Qin Yan held her hair and kissed her, letting the kiss trail down along her ear.
Just as she reached the corner of her lips, Xia Mingtang suddenly opened her eyes wide, staring at her without blinking.
In that single exchange of glances, they both understood exactly what the other was thinking.
Qin Yan curled her lips into a smile.
Her Tang Tang was still as smart and sensitive as ever.
But it didn’t matter—she had never intended to hide it for long.
“You…” Xia Mingtang furrowed her beautiful brows, trying to figure out how to speak.
After so long apart, now that they were face to face, she felt completely exposed and constrained—this was hardly a setting for a normal conversation.
Qin Yan noticed her hesitation and lowered her head to gently seal her blushing lips.
Along with another little spot that kept contracting, she blocked it as well.
Why waste words when the night is short?
In such a defenseless state, Xia Mingtang experienced another round of ecstasy.
The intense sensations left her drained, curling up instinctively with only her body’s reflexes guiding her.
Qin Yan untied the red silk binding her hands, her gaze gently caressing the red marks on her wrist.
During the second round, the person beneath struggled fiercely, making the delicate, snowy skin glow red—startling but not injured. The marks would naturally fade within a day.
Qin Yan brought her pale wrist to her lips, licking it lightly with her tongue.
Her Tang Tang was sweet all over.
Xia Mingtang’s eyelids twitched, a teardrop falling from her lashes.
Now unbound, she curled up like half a shrimp.
This was a normal post-cramp reaction.
Qin Yan lay sideways on the bed, holding her close, soothing her gently.
As she comforted her, one hand slid to a place it shouldn’t have.
She had originally only intended some playful teasing, but this time it felt different.
Before she could think how to proceed, her palm felt a sudden warmth.
Qin Yan lifted her hand and saw a red stain in the center of her callused palm.
It wasn’t from injury—it seemed like…
She blinked.
If her memory wasn’t wrong, this shouldn’t happen until three days later.
Xia Mingtang herself also sensed something unusual.
She opened her eyes, grabbed Qin Yan’s hand to look, and froze.
The old Qin Yan, no matter how mischievous, would never do such a thing at that time…
Realizing she had caused trouble immediately upon returning, Qin Yan hurriedly began apologizing while kissing her.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’ll take care of it right away.”
She didn’t dare continue teasing her and immediately got up, stepping into any nearby slippers as she rushed to the bathroom.
Xia Mingtang curled up on the bed, biting her lip.
She allowed Qin Yan to clean her with a hot towel and change into underwear with a pad.
These days of the month already left her weak; this sudden incident had triggered her early, leaving her utterly drained.
She couldn’t get angry now, as it would worsen her cramps.
Qin Yan finished preparing the water basin, then went to the kitchen to make brown sugar water. While it cooled, she changed the bedsheets.
She did all of this herself, with skill, without alerting the household staff.
It wasn’t that she was considerate of the staff, but she knew her little fox’s shy nature.
If everyone in the villa found out, Xia Mingtang would get upset for longer.
Xia Mingtang hadn’t figured out how to communicate with the memory-restored Qin Yan, so she decided not to engage.
She drank the brown sugar water Qin Yan offered and collapsed onto the bed.
Anything else could wait until she regained strength.
The two had the same thought.
Qin Yan, memory restored, held her wife and slept soundly.
Xia Mingtang struggled a few times in her sleep, but Qin Yan held her tighter, and she gave up.
Qin Yan inhaled the scent of her nose and smiled with satisfaction.
Long time no see, her Tang Tang was still as adorable as ever.
She decided to be magnanimous, temporarily ignoring the fact that her wife had left without notice before.
The next morning, Xia Mingtang woke up later than usual.
Her body was weak, and the first two days after such incidents made her extra sleepy. After the previous night’s exertions, she still felt her head pounding a little under the sunlight filtering through the window onto the satin sheets.
More than her weakness, her biggest worry was facing the suddenly memory-restored Qin Yan.
She had thought about how she would deal with it if Qin Yan ever regained her memory.
So far, living with the 18- or 19-year-old version of Qin Yan had been harmonious enough.
Young Qin Yan was considerate and cute—hardly looking like a pervert.
She had planned to have a proper talk with Qin Yan, hoping she could maintain her 18- or 19-year-old persona.
Those days could still work.
But who knew…
This life simply couldn’t be “made to work”!
Having been married so long, she knew Qin Yan well enough.
Trying to get her to agree to a divorce wasn’t easy.
She had faked her death once before, indirectly causing her grandmother to be hospitalized—she couldn’t repeat that anytime soon.
What could she do…
She looked at Qin Yan, who was pretending to sleep, and a mischievous thought crossed her mind.
If she gave her a knock on the back of the head now, what were the chances of erasing her memory?
Of course, this thought only existed in her mind.
Firstly, she couldn’t control the force precisely.
Secondly, it didn’t quite fit humanitarian principles.
She sighed several times without realizing it.
Qin Yan pretended to sleep for a while. Seeing that her little fox hadn’t done anything, she decided to stop.
She opened her eyes and kissed Xia Mingtang on the lips.
“Good morning, Tang Tang.”
It was already nearly noon.
Seeing Xia Mingtang silent, the usually cold and composed Qin Yan spoke without stopping when with her wife.
“I’ve told Manager Lin. You don’t have to go to the company today. If anything comes up, she’ll handle it—you just need to rest.”
Her caring words also reminded Xia Mingtang of something.
Qin Yan still had an agent in her company.
But Manager Lin was competent; it would be fine if Qin Yan’s agent wasn’t around.
Xia Mingtang pressed her lips together, saying nothing.
Thanks to Qin Yan, her lower abdomen still throbbed painfully—she didn’t have the strength to go to the office.
But she didn’t want to face this person at home either.
She closed her eyes, then reopened them, and tried to speak calmly and nonchalantly.
“I’ll rest well. You don’t need to stay home for me—go take care of your things.
“You just said the other day you wanted to show some results to the old-fashioned people at your company, so they wouldn’t keep pulling you into meetings.”
The “old-fashioned people” Qin Yan mentioned were mostly just in their early thirties.
From 18- or 19-year-old Qin Yan’s perspective, they seemed “old.”
Xia Mingtang deliberately mimicked the younger Qin Yan’s tone, as if pretending Qin Yan hadn’t recovered her memory yet.
Qin Yan squinted, seeing through Xia Mingtang’s intent.
Pretending not to remember, she still preferred that flawed version of herself!
The realization stirred an inexplicable fury in her.
If her little fox’s body weren’t weak, she would have made her stay in bed completely.
Qin Yan took a deep breath and forced a gentle smile, restraining herself from venting on the weak Xia Mingtang.
“No problem. Taking care of my wife and doing business don’t conflict. Besides, that group hasn’t the ability to boss me around yet.”
Her words radiated dominance.
Xia Mingtang fidgeted with the bedsheet, furrowing her brows.
This person wouldn’t even let the pretense of harmony stand.
Her stomach ached again.
Qin Yan noticed and started massaging her abdomen.
Her callused hand expertly circled Xia Mingtang’s navel, bringing warmth and relieving the uncontrollable cramps.
Sweat beaded on Xia Mingtang’s forehead.
The sensation was strange—she resisted emotionally but relied physically.
After massaging for a while, Qin Yan helped her put on pajamas and carried her to the bathroom.
Seeing Xia Mingtang trying to change her pad herself, she blocked her gently.
Qin Yan was especially responsible after “intimate moments,” but negotiable when not concerning principles.
Xia Mingtang tentatively tested Qin Yan’s limits, and the two began an unspoken tug-of-war.
After finishing, Xia Mingtang opened the bathroom door and was relieved Qin Yan wasn’t hovering outside.
But she didn’t completely relax; if she guessed correctly, Qin Yan would reappear soon.
Sure enough, just after she changed into clean pajamas, Qin Yan returned with a bowl of brown sugar water.
It had been freshly simmered that morning and kept warm on the stove.
Xia Mingtang drank obediently, trying to avoid the over-the-top affection.
Sometimes, she was frustrated with herself—how could she repeatedly accept Qin Yan’s gestures despite her inner grievances?
But what could she do? Even at her peak, she couldn’t resist Qin Yan’s single hand.
She understood the principle: a smart girl doesn’t suffer losses if she can help it.
Qin Yan smiled at her obedient little fox.
She wasn’t naturally considerate—she had learned to act gentle for convenience.
Later, she realized Xia Mingtang enjoyed it and grew addicted to this act.
As long as her little fox behaved, she was willing to pamper her endlessly.
She loved taking care of her beloved, penetrating every inch of her life—a subtle fulfillment of her controlling instincts.
Of course, Qin Yan didn’t think it was control.
She was simply in love with her wife.
Many in the Rong circle envied Xia Mingtang.
A spoiled third-generation heiress, mischievous and temperamental, who caused trouble constantly—if not for her family background, she would have faced countless difficulties.
Yet she gained the favor of a powerful, capable, and wealthy figure like Qin Yan.
Qin Yan, a rising magnate in Rong City, returned just months ago and had already reorganized the entire circle with thunderous authority, showing no mercy even to her family.
She was wealthy, powerful, handsome, devoted, and caring—but her choice was Xia Mingtang.
Truly a source of envy and jealousy.
And Xia Mingtang had something to say:
“Do you want this luck or not?”
