The White Moonlight Omega Has Amnesia and Always Tries to Seduce Me - Chapter 97
The car was parked in the spot closest to the teaching building. Shen Zhi first saw Qin Huai into the passenger seat before rushing back to the driver’s seat.
The rain had been falling for several days, and the air carried a heavy moisture. After getting into the car, Shen Zhi first turned on the air conditioning, then pulled out a few tissues and handed them to Qin Huai, motioning for her to wipe her hair.
Qin Huai glanced at the tissues but did not take them, only raising her eyes to look at Shen Zhi.
Shen Zhi was even wetter than Qin Huai, her jacket covered in large patches of water, the blue fabric soaked into a deep blue. Her side bangs were wet into two strands, hanging by her cheeks. Even her face was damp, and her eyelashes looked heavy and dark. When she raised her eyes to look at someone, she resembled a docile puppy.
At this moment, this “puppy” curved her eyes and said to her, “I’m fine, you wipe yourself first.”
Qin Huai still didn’t speak. After looking at Shen Zhi for a few seconds, she took the tissues from the other’s hand.
Her hands were wet, but the paper was dry.
Qin Huai held them, raised her arm, her gaze focused intently on Shen Zhi’s forehead, moving slowly and seriously, not missing a single detail.
The car compartment was filled with a damp smell, and besides that, a faint scent of orange that was warmed by the heater.
The scent of the car diffuser was chosen by Shen Zhi. After buying the car, she decisively ordered a fragrance with the same pheromone scent as Qin Huai. She rarely used it, but when picking up Qin Huai, or when she was alone in the car, she would turn on the diffuser.
If anyone else was in the car, she would open the window, allowing the outside wind to blow the scent away.
That was Shen Zhi.
Qin Huai looked at the skin wiped dry beneath the tissue, her expression thoughtful.
“Wiped dry,” Qin Huai crumpled the tissue in her hand, turned her head to look out the car window, and casually chatted, “Shen Zhi, what were you like when you were little?”
Shen Zhi was twisting the car key, and upon hearing the question, the smile on the corner of her mouth widened, “I was very impressive when I was little. I had a whole bunch of followers. I was the boss, giving orders, and everyone else had to carry them out. It was quite grand.”
A very thin layer of mist covered the glass window, and the rain fell pattering down, creating messy streaks of water on the car window.
Qin Huai extended her right index finger, the pad of her finger resting on the neat mist, “I really want to see what you looked like as a child.”
“That’s easy. My mother took a lot of photos of me. I’ll find them for you when we get back.” The car started. Shen Zhi gripped the steering wheel, her eyes checking the rear-view mirror.
The rain fell densely. Qin Huai had already drawn a horizontal line with her finger, but she frowned, feeling the line wasn’t well drawn, so she wiped it away with her hand.
The mist dispersed, and the scene outside was clearly visible.
An Omega wearing a backpack splashed through a puddle crossing the road in front of the teaching building. The water splashed high, wetting her clean shoes.
Qin Huai suddenly remembered a certain start of the school year. She seemed to have been like that too, sitting alone in the back seat not wanting to talk, wearing headphones, completely immersed in her own world, weary of interacting with the outside world.
And now, an Alpha sat beside her, an Alpha who had only her in her heart.
She had the person she loved, and the career she loved.
Everything seemed so complete.
Qin Huai suddenly curved her lips and chuckled softly. Turning her head, she called Shen Zhi’s name in a low, solemn, and serious tone, “Do you want to have a child?”
The car braked suddenly. Even though Qin Huai was wearing a seatbelt, she still lurched forward.
Shen Zhi stopped the car, her hands tightly gripping the steering wheel, asking in disbelief, “Huai Huai, what are you saying?”
“I asked if you want to have a child?” Qin Huai repeated, her eyes sparkling as she spoke, “Our child.”
How could Shen Zhi not want one?
A child belonging to the two of them no, to be precise, if Qin Huai was willing to have a child, she was willing.
Shen Zhi had imagined it. If Qin Huai was willing to give birth, the child would surely be very beautiful, very outstanding. The child would carry Qin Huai’s genes it would simply be a miniature Qin Huai.
Shen Zhi didn’t speak for a long time, and Qin Huai thought she might have brought it up too early.
After all, Shen Zhi was still in school and young. Who would want to be constrained by a child?
A faint hint of disappointment flashed in Qin Huai’s eyes, but she spoke nonchalantly, “If you don’t want one, that’s fine. I didn’t particularly want one either, I just asked casually.”
“I do,” Shen Zhi said firmly.
Qin Huai was stunned for a second, then a smile spread across her lips, “Really?”
“Of course.” Over the years, Shen Zhi had shed some of her youthful immaturity, but when she was happy and smiled, her expression would still reveal a genuine childlike quality, “We’re going home right now.”
“Why?” Qin Huai remembered they were supposed to go to Shen Zhi’s mother’s house later.
“To make a baby,”
