The Top-Tier School Hunk Has Been Targeted by the Cold CEO - Chapter 6
Bai Yang turned around, his lips curling into a faint, half-smile as he spoke.
“It is after work hours now. Do you really think I am the kind of boss who exploits his employees during their personal time?”
How was one supposed to answer that? Who would actually say yes?
Yan Xun gave a dry laugh. “Of course not! President Bai looks like a peerless, one-of-a-kind good man!”
Upon hearing this, Bai Yang gave Yan Xun a meaningful look.
A peerless, one-of-a-kind good man?
He hoped Yan Xun would remember those words later.
The black Bentley cruised through the bustling streets before turning into a luxury villa district amidst the enchanting night scenery.
Yan Xun had fallen asleep in the back seat almost as soon as he got into the car. He vaguely felt the vehicle come to a stop, followed by something warm and fuzzy rubbing against his face.
He smacked his lips. Images from his childhood surfaced in his mind, back when the neighbor’s dog loved to nuzzle against him to act cute.
“Silly dog, stop it.”
The young man, still lost in the fog of sleep, spoke in a soft, mumble-like tone. He did not sound angry; rather, it sounded like he was acting spoiled.
Bai Yang could not help himself and let out a soft chuckle.
Hearing the sound, Yan Xun’s eyes snapped open.
He saw Bai Yang’s hand pinching his cheek, a gentle smile playing across the man’s face.
As their eyes met, Bai Yang released his grip without the slightest hint of flustered behavior.
“You fell asleep. I called your name several times but you did not react, so I had to resort to using my hands. You do not mind, do you?”
Yan Xun shook his head to clear the cobwebs and waved it off.
“It is just a pinch on the face, why would I mind? That was gentle. Back at the dorm, when I wake those three sons of mine up, I usually start with a few solid punches.”
That created quite the mental image.
The smile at the corners of Bai Yang’s mouth deepened, but he did not continue the topic.
“Let us get out. We are here.”
Yan Xun followed Bai Yang out of the car. Looking at the magnificent luxury villa before him, his face filled with confusion.
“I thought you were taking me out for a massive seafood feast?”
Bai Yang picked up his coat and supported him as they walked toward the house, explaining calmly.
“You fell asleep in the car and looked very tired, so I felt bad about disturbing your rest. Besides, the restaurants are about to close. I had someone deliver fresh ingredients instead. The housekeeper should have everything ready, so we can eat as soon as we arrive.”
Bai Yang paused his steps and turned to Yan Xun with a slightly apologetic expression.
“I apologize. The food made by the housekeeper might not be as good as what a five-star chef would prepare.”
What was there to apologize for?
Yan Xun’s eyes widened, and he raised a hand to give Bai Yang two firm pats on the shoulder.
He said earnestly, “Buddy, you are way too easygoing. I am clearly the one taking advantage of you for a big meal, so why are you apologizing? Buddy, let me tell you, having a temper that is too good will only lead to people taking advantage of you.”
A college student who had not yet entered society was currently lecturing a powerhouse who navigated the business world with ease. One was bold enough to speak, and the other was willing enough to listen.
Bai Yang gave a light laugh and nodded. “Understood.”
Once inside, Yan Xun was shocked yet again by the interior decor of the villa. Unfortunately, his vocabulary was quite limited. After straining for a long time, he managed to spit out two words.
“Impressive!”
The dining table was already covered with a lavish seafood spread, but there was no sign of the housekeeper.
Yan Xun did not understand the rules of wealthy households and felt too embarrassed to ask. He saw the crab in the center of the table, which was larger than his own head, and his eyes lit up.
Bai Yang said, “Sit down and eat. Were you not quite hungry?”
Yan Xun had been waiting for those words and sat down obediently.
Bai Yang sat across from him and moved the steamed abalone toward Yan Xun first. “You start eating. I will help you crack the crab.”
Yan Xun was truly hungry and did not stand on ceremony. He picked up his chopsticks and began to eat. As he ate, Yan Xun watched Bai Yang put on gloves and use the crab crackers to carefully remove the meat.
It was a simple set of movements, yet when Bai Yang performed them, every gesture carried a high-class sense of artistic immersion. In that moment, a specific phrase popped into Yan Xun’s mind: good enough to eat.
Yan Xun said, “Buddy.”
Bai Yang paused and looked up at him. “Yes?”
Yan Xun’s lips quirked. “Your friends must feel a lot of pressure when they are with you.”
Bai Yang was confused. “Why?”
Yan Xun sighed with genuine feeling. “No matter who it is, being in the same frame as you only makes them look dull and overshadowed! I admit, I was superficial! I originally thought I was a dazzling star in a crowd, but seeing you now, I realize that compared to a glowing moon like you, the faint light of a star is nothing at all.”
These words were not entirely flattery; the person in front of him really knew how to show off like a peacock. Even as a man, Yan Xun found it hard to look away, let alone a woman.
Bai Yang’s face remained largely expressionless, possessing a calm that seemed unshaken by praise or insults. He smiled faintly. “I will take that as a compliment. Thank you.”
With that, he placed the prepared crab meat in front of Yan Xun.
Good looks, a good family background, and so gentle. Yan Xun picked up his chopsticks but hesitated to move them.
Bai Yang asked softly, “What is it?”
Yan Xun looked up, his eyes shimmering. “Buddy, it would be great if you liked men.”
Bai Yang: “???”
His pupils contracted, and his sharp gaze fixed on Yan Xun instantly as if he were trying to judge something. Before Bai Yang could respond, Yan Xun raised both hands and began to laugh lightheartedly.
“If you liked men, would I not have the chance to seduce you? Then I could rise through the ranks, eat and drink the best, and enjoy this world of luxury to my heart’s content!”
Was it a joke, a test, or a little seduction tactic? Bai Yang frowned slightly, feeling uncertain. After a moment, he let out a helpless sigh.
“Eat quickly. The food is getting cold.”
Full and satisfied, Yan Xun sat on the sofa rubbing his round belly.
Bai Yang warmed a glass of milk and brought it over. As he approached, Yan Xun looked up and asked with a grin, “Look at this stomach. Does it look like I am four months pregnant?”
Bai Yang: “…”
He really was brave enough to say anything. A glint flashed in Bai Yang’s eyes. He took the opportunity to sit beside Yan Xun and lifted the hem of his shirt.
“Then I should have a look.”
Yan Xun did not realize at all that there was anything abnormal about one man lifting another man’s shirt to look at his stomach. He immediately nodded. “Go ahead.”
Bai Yang smiled and leaned in closer. The lean boy had fair skin and a very narrow waist. His abdominal muscles were well-defined but not bulky, possessing a perfectly balanced aesthetic of lean muscle.
The more Bai Yang looked, the deeper the shadows in his eyes became. His throat moved as he swallowed almost imperceptibly, yet his voice remained steady.
“I cannot tell just by looking. Your stomach is quite flat.”
Yan Xun was immediately indignant. “How is it flat? It is clearly bulging out!”
As if afraid Bai Yang would not believe him, Yan Xun grabbed Bai Yang’s wrist and pressed his hand against his own stomach.
“Do not just look! If you do not believe me, feel it!”
