When Qi Mingfeng was young and ignorant, he was easily pursued and won over by He Xian.
He tolerated all of He Xian’s bad tempers. He Xian was prone to jealousy, so Mingfeng allowed He Xian to arrange his work and life; he almost never interacted with others, to the point of not even keeping the contact information of his only junior fellow apprentice.
Aside from music, his life consisted only of He Xian. But he never expected that the so-called “relationship” was merely a scam.
“Who would marry a music player?” “If it wasn’t for He Hui, who would pursue him?” “Qi Mingfeng, if you have the guts, then truly get lost—once you leave, don’t ever come back!”
It turned out that in He Xian’s eyes, he was just a little plaything unworthy of an official status. With just one angry word from the powerful Head of the He Family, Mingfeng fell into the abyss.
The most promising “chosen one” of the music world fell in an instant: blacklisted by the industry, his assets snatched away by enemies, and so heavily injured he could only wait for death in a rented room.
He had no friends. It was only with great difficulty that his younger brother pulled him back from the line between life and death, but he could only struggle to survive under deliberate suppression.
On a bone-chilling late night, Qi Mingfeng yanked the last corner of his clothes out of He Xian’s palm and tossed his wedding ring into the vast ocean. The thing he regretted most in this life was meeting He Xian.
He Xian’s greatest regret in this life was not treating Qi Mingfeng well.
The ceremony was grand and magnificent; the camera flashes were more dazzling than sunlight. Reporters crowded around Qi Mingfeng, everyone joyful and eager.
Someone asked: “Excuse me, Teacher Qi, what is your relationship with CEO He of the He Group? Is he pursuing you?” Qi Mingfeng smiled politely: “CEO He? We aren’t familiar.”
He Xian stood outside the crowd, looking down to kiss the ring he had bought back—the one Qi Mingfeng had casually given away to someone else.
It’s okay not to have a status. It’s okay if he doesn’t like talking to him. As long as Qi Mingfeng is still willing to be by his side.
