The Survival Strategy of the Contract Duchess - Chapter 100
It wasn’t that they couldn’t see each other in the darkness. It was as if they had gained superpowers, seeing him as a silhouette in the dark, and feeling him looking at me.
I felt him lift me up and place me in the middle of the bed. The sensation of his bare skin touching mine lingered, and as I exhaled, he was on top of me.
“But, why are you being like this from this time?”
Kyler lowered his large body and burrowed into her neck. He licked her delicate neckline with a lingering tongue, stroking her waistline with his hand.
Sasha’s breath caught for a moment at the sensation, and she couldn’t finish her question. But he would have understood. What she was trying to ask.
Kyler, having licked her neck, chuckled with a puff of air at her question.
“Ugh, please! Don’t laugh like that there.”
His hot breath scattered on her neck, already sensitive from his licking, sending shivers down her spine.
“Actually, for a few days. I’ve been holding back what I wanted to do.”
He said so briefly and kissed her collarbone. His hot, soft lips, tongue, and hands caressed Sasha’s entire body.
Kyler’s movements, which had been stimulating Sasha’s already wet body to the point of trembling, gradually intensified after they became one, reaching the desired place.
“Ah, ahak, uhn!”
Sasha moaned softly and clung to him as he moved. They weren’t times she particularly thought she was holding back, but when his hands touched her body erotically or when she looked at his lips, she would sometimes have that thought.
And when he actually touched her, she realized that she had been wanting him all along.
“I wanted to too. Uhn, don’t worry, heuh. Haa!”
Sasha whispered exciting things in his ear. Her voice, mixed with moans, tickled his ear, making the body deeply buried within her reveal an even greater presence.
“Haa, I love you!”
“Uhn! Haa, I love you too. I really do.”
The sudden midday encounter continued several more times. He was meticulous, passionate, and rough. And he didn’t seem to want to stop.
In Kyler’s arms, who embraced and held her endlessly as if breaking through something that had been blocking him, Sasha felt comforted instead.
–
“Dad? What’s wrong?”
Elina stopped whining and returned to her usual affectionate self.
Ivern, sitting in his office at the Marquisate, still didn’t lift his lowered eyes and just sat there.
As he sat in the large leather chair in front of the desk, closing his eyes with a dignified appearance, Elina, who had entered cheerfully, instinctively knew that something was wrong.
She bit her lip tightly and thought about leaving the room for now. He didn’t seem to hear her call, so she thought she could just leave quietly, but seeing as he didn’t even know she had come, she thought he would just ignore it.
But it was the moment she grabbed the doorknob of the office again.
“Elina.”
“Yes? Ah, yes, yes. I wasn’t trying to leave!”
Ivern called her in a deeply subdued voice, and Elina, feeling guilty, immediately turned her gaze to where Ivern was sitting, surprised that she had even tried to leave.
Elina hurried over. She sat on the sofa in the office, and Ivern across the desk sat with his eyes tightly closed.
As Elina frowned slightly, he opened his eyes very slowly.
“Were you going to leave?”
“No, I thought you were sleeping, Dad! Haha.”
Elina tried to laugh it off. If she answered lightly, the laughter would soon disappear.
“It’s okay. You came when I called. I called you because there’s something I need you to do, Elina.”
Ivern said bluntly. Now was not the time to argue about anything else.
The Empress had visited. She had broken through the forest where monsters appeared, which was so dangerous that he couldn’t even send his daughter, and had come all the way to Marquis Ivern’s residence.
She had found out everything, including the information that he was the leader of Geranel and that he had locked Sasha in the attic, and looked at him with ease.
He barely endured the rising desire to not do it and looked for a way to do it. But as expected, there was no other way for him.
“Me, do something? Is there something I can do among the things Dad does?”
Watching Elina tilt her head in bewilderment, Ivern almost lost his grip again.
Ivern was trying to step forward himself as much as possible. But anyone could see that it wasn’t easy.
He could do anything if his daughter could get married, shed her childishness, and grow up, but he couldn’t come to an agreement like that.
Considering that he couldn’t do it himself and that person was waiting without a care, he had to close his eyes and do it.
Leading Sasha to the mountains, he would tell her the exact point separately, but this child had to lead only Sasha into it without difficulty.
In short, it was complicated and a mess. Holding onto the tangled thoughts, Ivern gritted his teeth.
“Yes. It’s something you can help with. How can you help?”
As Ivern asked, Elina blinked, not knowing what was going on, and nodded. Ivern sighed, looking at Elina, who was only bright. That’s why he had actually tried to find another way.
Ivern couldn’t guarantee whether this child would do well. It seemed like it would be fine if she just treated her like she had treated her sister all her life. The problem was whether she could do it in practice.
“Yes, Dad. I can do it well. It’s helping Dad, so of course it’s good.”
Elina was sparkling her eyes, not knowing what was going on. Seeing those eyes, Ivern’s heart wavered again. Whatever she did Elina, who had been under the protection of the Marquisate, had nothing to fear, but it was different now.
This was a matter of life and death. Not Elina’s, Sasha’s.
No. It wasn’t that he had any affection left. Then the problem was whether Elina could do her part properly.
“No, no Elina, you can’t do it after all.”
At his words, Elina jumped up from her seat and strode towards him. She approached him with a thud, as if she was angry, and began to grab and shake his arm in front of Ivern.
“Daddd, when you brought it up to me, didn’t you have something to say to me? Why can’t I do it? Huh? I can do it well!”
Elina had been itching to do something. She had been trying to get Sasha out of there somehow, and that’s why she had made some kind of plan with the Empress, but what was all this?
It wasn’t like the monsters were coming out every day, so wouldn’t it be okay to go to the Imperial Palace and live there? She had such thoughts.
She didn’t know exactly what Ivern was trying to make her do, but anyway, it was a story that there was something she could do, so she really wanted to do it. She wanted to show anyone that she could do something.
Ivern, who hadn’t expected her to be so active, frowned and looked at Elina, who was clinging to his arm and shaking it.
“You can do it?”
“Huh? Dad, why do you think I can’t do it? My sister did it, so why can’t I do it?”
“What ? What did your sister do?”
Ivern’s brow furrowed even more. Seeing that, Elina looked straight at him and said.
“I heard! Sasha talks to monsters? Isn’t that why Her Majesty the Empress visited?”
The story had leaked out from an unexpected place. Seeing Ivern clicking his tongue, Elina was shocked that the story was true and immediately clung to him.
“My sister does it, so why can’t I do it? Is that what you’re trying to make me do? I can do it too. Let me do it too, Dad.”
It was a bit different from that, but Ivern couldn’t beat her when she was being so stubborn.
It was what he had wanted to make her do in the first place, so there was no backing down.
“Okay! But you need to know that this is a bit different from what you want. Will you still do it?”
As Ivern spoke in a solemn voice, Elina’s eyes sparkled. It was an expression that made him wonder where she had been hiding such eyes.
“Yes. Good. Anyway, it’s the story that Dad was trying to make me do in the first place, right? Then it’s a story that I can do it. I’ll do it. I want to do something too.”
Just being a kind and beautiful young lady was nothing. Only rumors flowed like that, Kyler had been taken by her sister, and she was just a young lady living in the territory beyond the mountains.
If she couldn’t become an Empress or a Duchess, she wanted to do anything. Besides, it was something that Dad was making her do, so it wouldn’t be a big problem.
“Go to the Ignote Duchy.”
“Okay, go to Ignote. What do I do? Is there something I need to get from Sasha? Or do I persuade her to come back to our house?”
Elina was spreading her imagination. If it was such a story, he wouldn’t have been so worried. Ivern finally opened his heavy mouth.
“Meet Sasha secretly, and come into the Uhalin Forest together.”
“Uhalin Forest?”
That was where Sasha had gone with Kyler and met the monster. The forest that she couldn’t even pass through. To go to Ignot through that road and bring Sasha back to that forest Elina looked at her dad with a chilly feeling.
