- Chapter 68.1 - Niannian Feeding
Surrounded by a familiar body temperature, Shen Zui’s breathing became unsteady. She panted softly: “…Call me ‘Shen Zui’.”
Shen Nian leaned forward, lightly pecking at her lips. She smiled and asked, “Calling you by your name directly—won’t that make me seem very impolite?”
Shen Zui gave her a coquettish glare. The crisp scent of cedar enveloped her, entering her lungs with every breath and spreading to her limbs. Her lover’s scent was more potent than the strongest aphrodisiac.
Due to their busy schedules, the two hadn’t seen each other for over half a month. The surging waves of desire felt somewhat foreign to Shen Zui. Although she had been full of anticipation while decorating the room, now that she was actually in Shen Nian’s arms, she was so shy she didn’t dare look the other person in the eye.
She instinctively tried to turn away to catch her breath, but as soon as she moved, Shen Nian bent down, hooked her arms behind Shen Zui’s knees, and swept her up in a princess carry.
“Ah!” Shen Zui cried out, her hands instinctively clutching Shen Nian’s neck. In a daze, she had fallen completely under Shen Nian’s control.
“Hmm?” Shen Nian tilted her head, feigning confusion. While carrying her toward the bed, she asked, “Didn’t Little Aunt offer herself up?”
Shen Zui pursed her lips: “…” Her feet felt itchy again, wanting to kick someone, but in this position, she was powerless against Shen Nian. After a few futile kicks in the air, she wisely chose to give up.
The smile on Shen Nian’s lips deepened. She placed the woman on the bed, specifically letting Shen Zui sit in the middle of the heart-shaped rose petals.
Shen Zui looked up and watched as the newly crowned “Best Newcomer” stood up unhurriedly. Shen Nian was a natural clothes hanger, and with long-term exercise, her body lacked a single ounce of redundant fat. The slim-fitting black long dress clung to her exquisite figure. From Shen Zui’s upward perspective, she could perfectly appreciate the stunning head-to-body ratio.
Small head, broad shoulders, narrow waist, long legs…
Even before anything had happened, Shen Zui began to swallow hard. She suddenly thought of the top comment on a post about Shen Nian’s red-carpet photos earlier that evening:
What kind of celestial being can perfectly withstand the official unedited camera? Wuwuwu, I don’t ask for a title—if I could do it with Shen Nian once in this life, I’d die without regrets.
When Shen Zui had first seen it in her room, she had kicked off her high heels and angrily pressed the “dislike” button. But now, she felt a trace of regret—that comment, though crude, wasn’t wrong!
“You still have the mind to daydream?” Shen Nian arched an eyebrow. She parted her lips, her pearly teeth catching the tip of the left-hand glove at the middle finger, and pulled it upward. After taking it off slowly, the black silk glove was tossed casually onto the floor.
“Little Aunt…” Shen Nian leaned down, nonchalantly grabbing a handful of rose petals and scattering them over Shen Zui. “Are you… not quite clear on what’s about to happen?”
With that, she leaned down, her arms bracing on either side of Shen Zui’s body, completely imprisoning the woman in her embrace.
Shen Zui blushed and looked away. But she quickly realized that such behavior was unbefitting of a CEO, so she forced herself to meet Shen Nian’s gaze, suppressing her shyness and anticipation. “…Of course I know.”
As she spoke, she lifted her foot, her bare toes finally pressing against the hem of Shen Nian’s dress.
“…” Shen Nian smiled, a dark glint flashing in her deep eyes. She continued to press closer, using her still-gloved right hand to press against Shen Zui’s lips.
“Help me,” her voice was hoarse.
Shen Zui raised her hand to help, but Shen Nian dodged it. Shen Nian stubbornly pressed against her lips: “Use… your mouth.”
The flush on Shen Zui’s face deepened, as brilliant as a peach forest in early spring. She parted her lips slightly, and just as a small gap appeared, Shen Nian’s index finger impatiently slid inside.
“Mmph!” Shen Zui’s eyes widened.
Shen Nian toyed with the soft tongue that hadn’t yet reacted. Since her mouth couldn’t close, transparent moisture slid down the corner of Shen Zui’s lips. She knitted her brows slightly, revealing a strained expression under Shen Nian’s teasing.
Shen Nian took a deep breath. She suppressed the urge to devour her whole and silently guided her: “Bite it.”
Shen Zui’s teeth caught the first knuckle, then, sensing something was wrong, retreated to the fingertip. Finally, the glove was tugged off slightly. But Shen Nian lacked the sanity to wait any longer. She leaned down and caught Shen Zui’s trembling lips.
“Mmph… Nn!”
The sudden contact of lips and tongue was far softer than a finger, yet the assault was a hundred times more fierce! Shen Zui struggled to keep up; the oxygen in her body was being consumed bit by bit, yet she couldn’t find the room to breathe. But her arms held Shen Nian tightly. Even as the deep kiss made her dizzy with passion, she couldn’t bear to be apart from her young lover for a single second.
Shen Nian loved this reaction! Her right hand, wet with Shen Zui’s moisture, slid down from her chin, tracing a sparkling trail along the way. Before Shen Zui lost her mind, Shen Nian pulled back slightly, giving her room to breathe. However, her lips and tongue followed the trail toward the neck, leaving a series of dense, pecking kisses.
Shen Zui’s body trembled, her mouth constantly murmuring the name. “Shen Nian, Shen… Shen Nian…”
Shen Nian lingered at the scent gland on the side of her neck for a moment before returning to the corner of her lips. She gritted her teeth: “You did it on purpose!”
Shen Zui’s eyes were covered in a watery mist as she looked at her blankly.
“Purposefully seducing people…” Shen Nian spoke fiercely but acted gently, lightly biting Shen Zui’s lower lip.
Shen Zui let out a moving murmur. She looked at Shen Nian: “It hurts…”
Shen Nian rubbed against her cheek: “Where does it hurt?”
Shen Zui’s fingers slid into Shen Nian’s hair, grabbing a few strands and tugging. The slight pain at this moment wasn’t distressing; instead, it was like adding dry wood to a roaring fire. Shen Zui felt it wasn’t enough and leaned into her ear: “Niannian, I want…”
She was shy yet sincere, green yet bold: “Help me, okay?”
The right-hand glove was violently removed by its owner and flung to the floor. Shen Nian looked down, just as a rose petal bloomed quietly in the center of the delicate “snow mounds.” The white snow set off the red rose, and the red rose, in turn, decorated the undulating snow mounds…
She pinched the petal. Under Shen Zui’s burning gaze, Shen Nian placed the red rose into her own mouth. Chewing it was bitter, but the person beneath her was vibrant and fragrant; Shen Nian only tasted sweetness.
Shen Zui was stunned. When she came to, she saw that Shen Nian had already swallowed the crushed rose. She reached out to touch the corner of the other’s mouth, wanting to confirm if the petal had truly disappeared.
Shen Nian grabbed the wrist, extended her tongue, and gently licked the finger pads.
“Okay,” her breath was scalding, “I’ll help Little Aunt…”
The bed full of red roses trembled all night. Some fell, landing exactly in the palms of the black silk gloves.
There was no escape.
The result of someone’s insatiable demands was that the next day, CEO Shen, who couldn’t get out of bed, was so angry she changed her flight tickets.
Shen Nian wanted to cancel her commercial shoot to stay and take care of her, but CEO Shen wouldn’t give her the chance, driving her out of the Presidential Suite with a dark face.
“Tsk, tsk,” Mo Huai said from the side, enjoying the show of Shen Nian getting the cold shoulder. “I knew you were greedy. Here comes the karma.”
Shen Nian ground her molars. She had been celibate for half a month, and with Shen Zui’s deliberate planning last night, was her loss of control solely her own responsibility? Did the seductive Shen Zui not have even a ten-thousandth of the blame? Shen Nian was indignant!
“Fine, fine, come with me,” Mo Huai coaxed in a different tone. “CEO Shen has assistants to take care of her. If you stay, are you planning to drain her dry?”
Shen Nian glared at her: “Can an assistant compare to me? Her mood improves just by seeing me!”
“…” Mo Huai was speechless for two seconds. “Better not.”
Shen Nian: “?”
Mo Huai snorted: “I think when CEO Shen has a sore waist and weak legs and sees your satiated look, she’ll only be so angry she’ll want to kick you out of the room again.”
Shen Nian: “…”
Mo Huai turned around: “Aiya, let’s go.” she urged. “Finish that commercial early so you can go back and cook for CEO Shen. Then you can coax her properly, and this will be over, right?”
“…” Shen Nian’s reason remained intact. Hearing this, she picked up her luggage. “Let’s go.”
After a three-hour flight, the two returned to City A. The assistant came to pick them up, incredibly excited and chirping about the online reactions.
“The likes on the post of Shen Nian’s official red-carpet photos have exceeded a million—it’s a record!” “Hmph, I checked one by one. All those marketing accounts that said our ‘virtue doesn’t match the position’ have deleted their posts. I’m dying of laughter!” “This wave has even added hundreds of thousands of followers to the movie coming out in the summer slot. Director Qi called this morning specifically to thank you. Too bad you were on the plane and didn’t get it!”
Mo Huai looked at her tablet. She had been listening silently but finally spoke: “Take a note for me; I’ll call Director Qi back later.”
“Got it,” the assistant nodded. “I’ve already written it in the reminders. Don’t worry, Sister Mo.”
After that, she continued rambling: “Oh, right, hehe, Shen Nian’s actor influence has climbed to number one on the charts…”
“Alright, alright,” Mo Huai interrupted her with a laugh. “We can see those things online. Is there anything fresh?”
The assistant indeed went quiet. Shen Nian smiled and shook her head, closing her eyes to rest.
“Oh, right!” the assistant suddenly raised her voice.
Shen Nian was startled. Having not rested well on the plane, her temples throbbed. She instinctively looked at the assistant.
“One of the members of that sasaeng fan group that used to follow Shen Nian was caught! He was lurking in a blind spot in the hotel stairwell and tried to sneak in when the cleaning staff opened the door. He was caught on the spot!”
Shen Nian was surprised. “When did this happen?”
Little assistant: “Just last night. Didn’t Sister Mo arrange for you to change rooms early? Thank goodness you left!”
“…” Shen Nian looked at Mo Huai. “I thought…”
“Thought what?” Mo Huai curled her lips. “Thought ‘the sasaeng fans make it unsafe’ was just an excuse I made up?”
Shen Nian: “Mm.”
“I did cooperate with CEO Shen to make you change rooms,” Mo Huai giggled, then frowned. “But the sasaeng fan thing was also true.”
Shen Nian nodded in realization.
“But do you know what the most ridiculous part of this is?” the little assistant spoke again.
Mo Huai: “What?”
“The person caught was a man! And an Alpha!” the assistant said excitedly. She laughed: “I thought everyone who liked our Shen Nian was a Beta or an Omega. I didn’t expect the ‘visual ceiling’ to kill in all directions! Even male Alphas weren’t left out!”
Hearing this, Mo Huai also gave Shen Nian a teasing look. Shen Nian herself didn’t feel much. She didn’t take it to heart, adjusted her seat to a reclining position, and lay down: “I’m going to rest. Wake me when we get to the company.”
Mo Huai gave an “Mm.” Seeing this, the assistant finally closed her mouth and drove the car quietly.
The commercial shoot wasn’t easy, lasting about three days. It was a series of short films. Fortunately, the other female lead was Tan Zhu, whom Shen Nian had worked with many times. Their synergy was excellent, making the whole process much easier.
“You’re graduating this year, right?” On the last day of shooting, the venue moved to an outdoor park. During a break, Tan Zhu suddenly asked Shen Nian, who was at the other end of the bench. She was two years older than Shen Nian and had left campus the year before last.
Shen Nian gave an “Mm.” Out of politeness, she invited: “The graduation ceremony is at the end of June. Are you coming?”
“Hmph,” Tan Zhu pouted. Her development over the last few years hadn’t been as good as Shen Nian’s. She was currently a third-tier star, and her only famous work was those seasons of The Chronicle of Zhuang Zhou. The sponsors had only invited her to co-endorse because she had worked with Shen Nian the longest.
“You’re so famous now; there will probably be many big stars there to support you, right?” Tan Zhu spoke with a hint of bitterness. “You definitely won’t have time to host an old friend like me.”
Shen Nian shook her head with a smile. “Director Cai and Screenwriter Zhou and the others are coming. We can have a meal together.” Compared to the people she met after becoming famous, Shen Nian preferred staying with them.
“Really!” Tan Zhu’s eyes lit up. She grabbed Shen Nian’s sleeve: “Shen Nian, tell me secretly—will Director Cai choose me?”
Cai Kang and Zhou Nan had made it through the hard years and, after gaining recognition, were preparing their own big movie. Shen Nian was undoubtedly their designated Alpha female lead, but the other one… Many people had been invited for auditions, including Tan Zhu, but there were no results yet.
Hearing this, Shen Nian shook her head: “I don’t know.”
“You don’t know?!” Tan Zhu’s eyes widened.
Shen Nian was amused by her expression. The two were chatting seriously and didn’t notice an expensive luxury car parked on the tree-lined path nearby.
“Filming doesn’t start until the end of August, and it’s only May. Director Cai probably hasn’t finalized the candidates yet.”
“I don’t care!” Tan Zhu shook her arm. “I’m too embarrassed to ask myself. You… you have to find a chance to say some good words for me.”
Shen Nian was somewhat helpless. She tilted her head: “You know Director Cai has his own ideas. This isn’t something I can…”
“That’s not true!” Tan Zhu chided. “Director Cai and Screenwriter Zhou like you so much! Your opinion is very valuable to them! If you can recommend me, it’ll be a sure thing.”
Shen Nian: “…” She couldn’t agree to such a thing and could only laugh awkwardly, attempting to gloss it over.
Tan Zhu got up from the bench and went behind her. She balled up her fists and began to massage Shen Nian’s shoulders and back: “Aiya, please, Shen Nian, help me out. We’ve known each other so long; you’d feel at ease working together, wouldn’t you?”
Shen Nian was amused by her. Seeing a chance, Tan Zhu’s spirits soared. “Chen Min, good A-Min, you’re the best to me. I really need this role; help me out~~”
The “Chen Min” she called out was the character Shen Nian played in The Chronicle of Zhuang Zhou. The two were a small couple in the show, their relationship far closer than that of real-life friends.
Hearing these pleas, Shen Nian got goosebumps. “Alright, alright, enough!”
Tan Zhu looked at her sideways: “You agreed? You agreed, right?!”
Shen Zui (the text likely means Shen Nian here, as she is the one being massaged) leaned forward, stopping her. “Get back here first.”
Just as Tan Zhu was about to speak, a staff member carrying props walked by. He teased: “Oyo, the ‘couple’ is still spreading sugar when they aren’t filming?”
Tan Zhu bared her teeth and swung a fist at him. “Don’t talk nonsense; Shen Nian has a girlfriend!” She explained again: “We’re just ordinary friends!”
The staff member then remembered that Shen Nian had officially announced her relationship years ago: “Oh, right.” He rubbed his nose, said “sorry,” and hurried away from the rest area.
Tan Zhu looked down at Shen Nian again. Shen Nian shrugged. “I can’t guarantee anything… but if Director Cai and the others ask for my opinion, I’ll say some good words for you.”
It wasn’t that she was truly moved by Tan Zhu’s actions, but on one hand, they had worked together for a long time and knew each other well. On the other hand… Tan Zhu was very well-behaved. Situations like the one just now happened occasionally, and she always took the initiative to clarify. Many people would shamelessly cling to Shen Nian even knowing she had a girlfriend. Tan Zhu’s approach indeed saved Shen Nian a lot of trouble.
