The Sickly Beauty is Too Good at Seducing - Chapter 14
“Ah!”
A sudden force clamped onto Shen Congbai’s ankle. His entire body toppled downward uncontrollably, crashing directly into Feng Yu’s embrace.
Being told he “couldn’t perform” several times in a row was something no man could stomach. Feng Yu pinned down the boy’s squirming waist with one hand to hold him in place, while his other hand moved to the back of Shen Congbai’s neck, gripping it to force his head down.
“Bursting in while I’m showering and intentionally using those words to provoke me… Shen Congbai, what are you trying to do now?”
The area around Shen Congbai’s ears turned a deep crimson from the heat of the other man’s breath. This position forced them to press tightly against one another and even more shamelessly, after finished speaking, Feng Yu gave a suggestive thrust of his hips.
Shen Congbai’s eyes instantly flooded with a watery sheen. “You’re clearly just…”
Before he could finish the words “flattering yourself,” he gave a startled shiver at the scorching heat of Feng Yu’s body temperature. He couldn’t help but twist his torso, raising his hands to push against the man’s chest. “Get away from me,” he whispered softly.
Feng Yu gave a short, dry laugh, his voice incredibly husky. “Doesn’t the Young Master want to know if I’m diseased? Check for yourself and you’ll know.”
As if possessed, Shen Congbai actually lowered his head to take a look.
He spoke with a sense of naïve bewilderment: “It’s so clean.”
It was just a bit redder than it had been three years ago.
Feng Yu slowly tilted the boy’s chin up, forcing Shen Congbai to meet his gaze. The entire bellyful of interrogations Feng Yu had prepared was instantly forgotten. He stroked the boy’s chin and asked, “On the contrary, I’d like to ask the Young Master where exactly did you hear that I’ve found another man?”
Shen Congbai wrenched his hand away and shot him a resentful look, like a slighted young wife. “You have the nerve to ask? Last time I called you from Shen Que’s phone, someone else answered!”
Shen Congbai sniffled. “He even told me not to disturb you, saying you were too tired and had already fallen asleep.”
Who knows what you did to be so tired you fell asleep?
The corners of Feng Yu’s mouth curled up. With an air of great interest, he said, “You seem to care a lot about whether I’ve found someone else.”
Shen Congbai shoved that annoying face away. “Who cares about you? I’m just afraid that if you mess around outside and word gets out that my ex-boyfriend has a disease, it’ll ruin my reputation.”
“Oh…” Feng Yu made a face of sudden realization. “Well, you just checked. Are you satisfied with the results of your inspection?”
Shen Congbai let out a cold snort and delivered a compensatory kick to the man’s leg. “The color isn’t as nice anymore. Who knows how many times you’ve sought out others.”
Feng Yu hissed in pain. He clamped onto the boy’s calf to stop his movements, laughing out of sheer exasperation. “Shen Congbai, how can you be so wicked? You’ve certainly learned how to turn the tables and play the victim quite well.”
Shen Congbai grew frantic. “Who’s turning the tables? I—”
Feng Yu raised an eyebrow and asked tentatively, “Could it be that you’re still… pink?”
“I…” Shen Congbai suddenly snapped to his senses. “Whether I’m pink or not has nothing to do with you!”
He shoved the man away, straightened his clothes, and ran off to a safe distance. He looked up, scanning Feng Yu’s current state. “But you said we were even. We’ve already crossed the line of being strangers.”
Feng Yu felt a sudden, inexplicable itch in his teeth. Looking at the boy’s guarded expression, he felt a twinge of regret for those words for the first time.
Just as he moved to stand up and pull the boy back, the bath towel that had been ruffled by Shen Congbai’s antics finally gave way and dropped to the floor.
He hadn’t even reacted yet when he heard Shen Congbai let out a startled cry, followed by a sharp slap to his face. “Pervert!”
As the words landed, Shen Congbai ignored the stunned, silent Feng Yu and slammed the door shut with a loud bang.
After teaching Feng Yu a lesson, Shen Congbai was in an excellent mood. He went down to the first floor, grabbed a small cake, and sat in a corner to nibble on it leisurely.
Shen Que was likely looking for him; he didn’t see the man anywhere in his initial scan. Shen Congbai stuffed another mouthful of cream into his mouth. He absolutely could not let Shen Que know he had gone to find Feng Yu, or the man would go crazy again.
In the midst of his thoughts, his cheek was suddenly gripped by a hand. The cream he hadn’t yet managed to swallow smeared all over his lips. Shen Que’s eyes darkened. He wiped a bit of the cream away with his index finger and spoke slowly:
“Where did Wuwu go just now? Brother looked for a long time and couldn’t find you.”
Shen Congbai forced himself to remain calm. He pulled away from the hand and licked the cream off his lips, leaving them glistening and moist. “I’ve been sitting here the whole time. Maybe I was just getting food when you came looking.”
Seeing his normal demeanor, Shen Que’s brow furrowed slightly in confusion. “Are you hungry?”
“Mm…”
Shen Congbai was pulled to his feet. Shen Que said, “If you’re hungry, let’s head out. Brother will take you to that new Cantonese restaurant.”
“But I haven’t finished my cake…”
“Throw it away.” Shen Que paused and shot him a glance. “Eating too much cake is bad for digestion. Your stomach is weak; you shouldn’t eat much of it.”
“Alright.” Shen Congbai followed him out obediently, staring idly at Shen Que’s tall back while remembering the conversation he had overheard earlier.
He stopped in his tracks and suddenly spoke: “Brother…”
Shen Que looked back, somewhat confused. “What is it?”
Meeting Shen Que’s eyes, the courage Shen Congbai had summoned suddenly drained away. He offered a random excuse: “I don’t want Cantonese food.”
“Then what do you want to eat?”
While Shen Congbai was thinking, a commotion broke out near the staircase on the first floor. Following the sound, he saw Feng Yu standing tall and cold at the top of the stairs. Alone, he looked like an emperor surveying his territory, his gaze indifferent as he looked down at the crowd below.
Shen Congbai silently looked away. He looks all dignified now, but he’s actually a stinking dog with a weird exhibitionist streak.
Shen Que took in the boy’s reaction. Seeing that Shen Congbai only spared a single glance before looking away, his heart filled with pleasure. He ruffled Shen Congbai’s ear, his eyes narrowing slightly. “So good. Shall I take you for Sichuan food instead?”
Shen Congbai couldn’t handle spicy food, yet he was the type who loved it despite being terrible at it—he would huff and puff with every mouthful. Shen Que usually forbade it for the sake of his stomach, so proactively suggesting it was a rare exception.
Shen Congbai immediately tucked Shen Que’s arm into his embrace, leaning his whole weight against the man. “I want to go! Brother is the best!”
The two walked out laughing and joking. Feng Yu glanced in Shen Congbai’s direction, his eyes darkening as he watched their intimate posture.
While Shen Congbai waited for Shen Que to lean over and buckle his seatbelt, he was still enthusiastically chatting with Tu Zhi about which Sichuan restaurant was best.
Shen Que’s phone, placed to the side, began to vibrate. Shen Que straightened up, glanced at the expectant Shen Congbai, and answered the call.
“Boss, he confessed.”
“Mm. Where’s the cargo?”
The secretary on the other end hesitated. “The Second Young Master refuses to release the goods. He said…”
Shen Que’s expression remained unchanged. “What did he say?”
“He said he has to see the Little Master before he’ll release the goods.”
“…”
The aura around Shen Que turned bone-chillingly cold. Shen Congbai’s playful chatter faltered. He asked curiously, “What’s wrong?”
Shen Que’s voice softened instantly. “Nothing.” Then, into the phone, he said coldly, “Leave it. I’ll handle it.” He hung up.
Shen Que took a moment to organize his thoughts before turning to Shen Congbai. To his surprise, Shen Congbai had already unbuckled and leaned over to the driver’s seat, his eyes wide as he scrutinized him.
Shen Congbai demanded, “Brother, what exactly happened?”
“Just a small hiccup at work. Anyway, have you decided which restaurant we’re going to?”
Shen Congbai sat back in his seat and didn’t press further. He gave Shen Que the name of a restaurant.
While Shen Que wasn’t paying attention, Shen Congbai quietly grabbed Shen Que’s phone and took a photo of Jiang Yan’s contact information. After thinking it over, his finger continued to slide down, and he snapped a photo of Feng Yu’s number as well.
Once they finished dinner and arrived home, Shen Congbai immediately locked himself in his room. He looked at the photo and entered the numbers one by one. Upon seeing the location of the number, a flash of surprise crossed his eyes.
Jiang Yan really is in Port A. Port A was the most chaotic city in the country, a melting pot of all sorts of people. No matter how one looked at it, there was no way the Shen family would let their long-lost young master stay in a place like that.
He steadied his nerves and dialed the number with a conflicted expression.
“Hello.”
Hearing the familiar voice, Shen Congbai couldn’t help but swallow hard. His voice was thick with emotion as he said, “It’s me, Shen Congbai.”
