- Chapter 28 - Obtuse — No Kisses for You Today!
He Wang’s voice carried a heavy weight of suppressed emotion. Having waited outside for a long time, his fingertips bore a slight, icy chill as he pressed them against Song Mingjiao’s lips, forcefully rubbing over the lingering marks left there.
Song Mingjiao remained seated upright in the car. He neither turned his head away nor stopped He Wang’s movements; instead, he let out a soft, light chuckle.
“Didn’t you hear everything just now?”
He had specifically named Li Yuanhua earlier. Seeing how anxious He Wang had looked on the other end of the video call driving over immediately it was impossible for him not to know who had kissed him.
He Wang stared at Song Mingjiao’s lips. They were still soft, with the faint indentation of teeth marks visible. In the dim light of the car’s interior, they appeared a vivid, flamboyant red but it was someone else’s handiwork!
He Wang looked utterly crestfallen. His hand fell powerlessly from Song Mingjiao’s lips, and he asked through the partially lowered window, “Mingjiao, why?”
They clearly already had each other, so why go out of his way to provoke someone else? And why intentionally let him hear it?
Song Mingjiao turned his body, propping his head up with one hand as he leaned against the car window, sighing with a smile. “There is no clause in our agreement that says I have to remain chaste for you. This is how ‘Sugar Daddies’ are. Being in the entertainment industry, you must have seen plenty of this, right?”
He shifted his posture, looking at He Wang with a troubled yet sincere expression. “Besides, I don’t like lovers with an overinflated sense of self. After all, the last one kept me annoyed all day long. You can understand that, can’t you?”
Song Mingjiao didn’t believe He Wang could endure this if he framed it this way.
Sure enough, outside the car door, He Wang’s gaze darkened several degrees. His body tensed, muscles coiled; Song Mingjiao thought he was finally going to explode.
Instead, He Wang slammed his fist against the driver’s side door.
“Get out,” He Wang said coldly to the “adulterer” in the driver’s seat.
Li Yuanhua did not move until Song Mingjiao’s gentle voice drifted from the back seat.
“You go back first. Prepare the fruit for me; I want to eat grapes tonight.”
Only then did the bodyguard reluctantly turn off the engine and step out of the driver’s seat. He had just ousted the original driver in the same way, and now it was his turn.
Peeling grapes? How intimate.
He Wang’s teeth felt sour with jealousy as he watched. If Song Mingjiao hadn’t been sitting in the car and if he weren’t afraid of scaring him he would have loved to drag this “Head Eunuch” out of the vehicle and throw him as far away as possible.
So what if he’s known Mingjiao longer and took care of him for a while? What’s so great about that!
From the previous conversation, the bodyguard already understood the role he was meant to play. The Young Master was merely using him to amuse himself at He Wang’s expense.
Li Yuanhua suppressed the bitterness in his heart and put on his most attentive act. He intentionally raised his voice and said, “Yes, Young Master. Every single grape will be peeled perfectly.”
As Li Yuanhua exited the car and passed He Wang, he lowered his voice and warned, “You should know by now, the Young Master isn’t just some entertainment company boss. Since you signed the agreement, serve him well. Otherwise, you won’t want to know the consequences.”
He Wang ignored him, squeezing past to claim the private space with Song Mingjiao. “Taking care of Mingjiao and being good to him is my responsibility. There’s no need for anyone else to interfere.”
Song Mingjiao felt the wind blowing in from the open window was a bit cold, so he rolled it up, missing the dark undercurrents surging by the driver’s door.
However, even if he had seen it, he wouldn’t have cared.
As of this moment, Song Mingjiao’s “driver” had already changed three times.
He leaned over the back of the driver’s seat, smiling at his “new driver” with a pleasant mood. “I’m already home. Since you aren’t sending me inside, where do you plan on taking me?”
In this position, Song Mingjiao’s hair cascaded down. He boredly twirled a lock of hair around his finger, letting it brush against He Wang’s ear in a “now you feel it, now you don’t” fashion.
By the time He Wang couldn’t take it anymore and tried to catch the mischievous strand, its owner had already pulled it back, accompanied by a triumphant little laugh.
He was just like Song Mingjiao himself: always keeping a distance, flirting without taking responsibility, and never admitting to anything purely playing for fun.
He Wang kept a stoic face and said nothing, his lips pressed into a thin line.
The engine started. The sky had gradually darkened, and the car soon left the gates of the villa estate, driving into the gloomy night.
Song Mingjiao didn’t bother to ask where He Wang was taking him; he knew this man wouldn’t do anything truly earth-shattering.
He shifted his angle, resting his head on the center armrest between the front seats, looking up at He Wang. He even shared his “experience” with a hint of excitement.
“But He Wang, don’t worry. I’ve compared you two. Your technique is better than his; you won’t be ‘laid off’ just yet.”
“Even though both of you are quite crude, at least you aren’t as reckless.”
Song Mingjiao touched his lips. They were slightly swollen. He suddenly wanted to find a mirror to see what they looked like.
Such comparative remarks were enough to make anyone’s blood boil, yet Song Mingjiao spoke with a completely natural tone.
Before he could find a mirror, his soft lips were pinched by He Wang. The man freed a hand, his eyes deeper than the night itself as he took a long breath:
“Baby, are you asking for it on purpose?”
Song Mingjiao’s lips were very soft, feeling like the most delicate tofu. This was why He Wang couldn’t get enough of them. Even when he was fuming with rage, as long as Song Mingjiao let him have a kiss or even just a touch he would forget everything.
Song Mingjiao glared at He Wang and slapped his hand away with a sharp smack.
Despicable man, how dare he pinch my mouth with his hand? This place is for kissing!
“Don’t touch me!”
Song Mingjiao retreated to the back seat, wiping his lips back and forth with the back of his hand as if he were utterly repulsed by He Wang.
He Wang saw this in the rearview mirror. He glanced at the hand that had been slapped away and, surprisingly, found himself reminiscing about the sensation.
But then his thoughts shifted, and he gritted his teeth. “He can kiss you, but I can’t even touch you?”
“No! No kisses for you today!”
The car had unknowingly left the residential area. The streetlights grew sparse, and the light dimmed. Song Mingjiao couldn’t see He Wang’s expression clearly; he only saw the man suddenly brake and climb over from the front seat.
Song Mingjiao frowned in dissatisfaction. “Stop coming over this way. You’ll get my car dirty. There are doors for a reason.”
He Wang had already squeezed in beside Song Mingjiao. “Who else has done this? Was it that bodyguard too?”
He Wang lifted Song Mingjiao’s chin, intending to kiss him, but Song Mingjiao covered his own mouth with his hand.
Song Mingjiao’s spirited eyes blinked at He Wang.
No kisses.
He heard the man let out an angry laugh, and then a broad, powerful palm firmly gripped his waist. The man held him tight, pinning him securely against the seat.
Song Mingjiao’s legs flailed as he tried to kick He Wang, but they were quickly locked down by the man’s own legs. The two of them made quite a commotion in the back seat; even the car began to rock slightly.
He Wang didn’t say a word, but he persistently tried to kiss Song Mingjiao’s lips. Song Mingjiao, however, kept his mouth covered while continuing to squirm.
Song Mingjiao’s wrists were very thin; a little force would leave red marks, but He Wang couldn’t bring himself to do that. Thus, they remained in a deadlock in the back seat.
After a long while, He Wang was finally the first to stand down.
“Mingjiao, you keep testing me. Have you never believed in me? Do you not believe that I simply, purely like you?”
He Wang finally gave up on Song Mingjiao’s tempting lips. As compensation, he reached out and grabbed Song Mingjiao’s buttocks, kneading the warm, soft, and somewhat elastic flesh several times.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Song Mingjiao had been hit where it hurt, and although he felt a prickle of annoyance, he had no intention of telling the truth.
He Wang’s hand was still pressing and rubbing forcefully behind him, which was very irritating. But the man was strong; no matter how much he twisted his hips, he would quickly be caught and kneaded again, or even pinched.
He really didn’t understand. He hadn’t been in this small world for very long; how did He Wang suddenly become so deeply in love?
Love? Liking? What does that even feel like?
He didn’t understand it, and he wasn’t familiar with it.
Someone like Mo Qinan was disgusting and annoying, but Song Mingjiao could read the logic behind such a selfish person’s behavior. But people like He Wang and Li Yuanhua? He didn’t understand them.
Not driven by profit, but by pure emotion?
People are good at faking. For someone like He Wang, who didn’t need a Sugar Daddy in the first place if he was temporarily influenced by hormones and lured into the abyss, how long could he endure it?
He didn’t believe it.
Looking at the sudden blankness in Song Mingjiao’s eyes, He Wang ultimately let out a silent sigh.
His hand was pressed against Song Mingjiao’s rear the texture was incredibly soft and bouncy. When He Wang was driven dizzy with anger by his beloved’s obtuseness, he felt a strong urge to give it a good slap, but he managed to restrain himself in the end.
“Fine, baby. I hope you understand before I’m driven to death by anger.”
Understand what? I don’t get it.
All Song Mingjiao knew was that the frantic man had finally loosened his grip.
Song Mingjiao brushed aside the emotions he couldn’t untangle and returned to his arrogant, pampered demeanor. His calves were pinned by He Wang, and he took the opportunity to slide them up along the man’s trouser legs.
“You’ve driven to some godforsaken wilderness where there’s no one around. I want to try it in the car. Hurry up, I don’t want to wait.”
The previously tense atmosphere in the car took a sudden turn, and an ambiguous, flirtatious air began to rise.
He Wang picked Song Mingjiao up with one arm, switching their positions as they began to whisper intimately. “Baby, you underestimate your man too much.”
Song Mingjiao didn’t understand the meaning behind those words yet. He was sitting on He Wang’s lap; the man’s body temperature was incredibly high, and his thigh muscles were hard. He shifted uncomfortably a few times, only to suddenly bump against something.
Song Mingjiao’s eyes widened in disbelief. Weren’t they just having a conflict?
But it turned out this man had been ready for a long time!
By the side of the dark road, almost no cars passed by. There was only a single dim streetlight and a car parked not far away. For some reason, the shadow cast by the vehicle was swaying slightly sometimes with quite a large amplitude.
If one were to quietly approach, faint sounds could be heard from within.
“Open the window… it’s so hot… you’re too burning.” It was a lighter, softer voice, carrying a youthful tone that made one think of a pet cat at home that bites even when being groomed.
“Okay, baby, relax first. I’ll adjust the window.” It was a deeper male voice, somewhat hoarse, suppressing and restraining something.
“Mm~ no…” The youth’s trailing note curved through eighteen bends, seemingly unwilling to let go.
The shadow swayed for a good while longer before the car window was finally, laboriously lowered. A fair, slender arm reached out of the window, trembling rhythmically.
Only on very rare occasions would the slender fingers suddenly tense and curl up.
