Yesterday’s clothes had been soaked by the rain, so everyone changed into fresh outfits, including Lu Shuangjiang and Yu Ningqi.

The Production Team had provided comfortable, athletic wear in their supply backpacks, designed for ease of movement.

Lu Shuangjiang wore a fitted sports tank top paired with plain black leggings. She tugged at her hair tie, twisted her wrist, and quickly pulled her long hair into a ponytail. The tank top didn’t fully cover her torso, revealing a glimpse of her smooth waistline with each movement. Yu Ningqi stood beside her, tilting her head slightly, her long lashes lowered as she adjusted her earpiece.

With heights of 1.76 meters and 1.74 meters respectively, both women possessed slender waists and long legs. While others rely on clothes to enhance their appearance, these two made even the most ordinary athletic wear look extraordinary.

Lu Shuangjiang found the words oddly unsettling. She had been about to make a playful remark like, “We Alphas have great stamina, a little exhaustion is nothing,” but when she met Yu Ningqi’s gaze, she suddenly noticed the immense sorrow brimming in those light-colored eyes.

And Yu Ningqi’s hand was trembling.

At least those beautiful eyes shouldn’t be filled with such sorrow.
