Arc 1: The True and False Stand-in
“I resent the bright moon for hanging so high, yet never once shining its light on me.”
I once let hatred fester because I was merely a “stand-in” for someone else. However, when I received his death certificate, I finally woke up from my stupor. What did being a stand-in even matter anymore?
Given a second chance at life, Shang Linyi has decided that Yan Chen can only belong to him. Yan Chen has a “White Moonlight”, a hidden first love tucked away in his heart, and in his past life, Shang Linyi was consumed by bitterness over it.
