The Premeditated Seductress Childhood Friend - Chapter 21
Chapter 21: Walk Me In
Xu Qingyu didn’t rush to answer. Instead, she gently stroked Song Yixi’s face and asked, “Are you only like this with me?”
Song Yixi nodded in frustration. Part of her didn’t want to admit it, but she felt she was beyond saving, so she had no choice. Admitting it actually made her feel a bit better.
The corners of Xu Qingyu’s mouth lifted slightly. “Then what are you sad about? I promised to teach you. As long as you say the word, you can kiss me whenever you want. Isn’t that great?”
Her logic was flawless; Song Yixi couldn’t find a single point to argue with.
After a moment of thought, Song Yixi whispered, “But… what if one day you don’t want to anymore?”
She felt that Xu Qingyu held all the power. If Xu Qingyu ever withdrew her consent, Song Yixi would be forced into a painful withdrawal. Besides, what kind of person spends all day thinking about kissing someone else?
“I won’t ever ‘not want to’.”
Xu Qingyu’s hand moved to Song Yixi’s earlobe, lightly scratching it twice. Her tone was certain. “I promise you, what you’re worried about won’t happen. If you want to kiss me, just say it openly.”
Being coaxed like this made Song Yixi feel a sudden surge of grievance. “You didn’t agree last night.”
Xu Qingyu laughed. “Is that why you stayed up half the night looking at those things?”
Song Yixi’s mouth twitched. “I didn’t.”
The warm atmosphere vanished instantly. Song Yixi pouted and let out a cold snort, turning to leave. Suddenly, Xu Qingyu’s slender fingers snagged her collar. With very little effort, she pulled Song Yixi back toward her.
They were pressed close, their breaths slowly intermingling. Xu Qingyu asked in a breathy whisper, “What were you looking at? Was it better looking than me?”
Song Yixi braced her hands against the car seat, holding her position and not daring to speak. She certainly couldn’t say she was looking at Xu Qingyu’s private photos. How could she even compare them?
Was the Xu Qingyu in real life better looking? Or the Xu Qingyu in the photos? If Song Yixi had to answer, she’d say the styles were different.
The everyday Xu Qingyu was cold and aloof, a mystery to be solved. But the Xu Qingyu in those photos was enchanting and graceful, with everything—the seen and the unseen—exposed before Song Yixi’s eyes.
She couldn’t tell if the distance between them felt closer or further away. It all felt surreal to her—including the Xu Qingyu currently holding her collar and asking which one was prettier.
Seeing she wouldn’t answer, Xu Qingyu didn’t press her. She only said, “Don’t look at those next time. Come find me instead.”
At those words, Song Yixi’s brain completely short-circuited. Find you… find you for what? To take those photos live? If Xu Qingyu dared to take them, Song Yixi wouldn’t dare to look.
Xu Qingyu didn’t say anything more. She just gave her a light peck on the lips, letting her figure it out for herself.
Tasting Xu Qingyu again made Song Yixi swallow hard. She wanted to continue, but they were at school, and anyone could walk by at any moment. She didn’t dare.
Xu Qingyu tilted her head and pinched Song Yixi’s cheek again. “Just now… you were very cool.”
She was referring to Song Yixi standing in front of her to block Chen Jingyu.
Song Yixi felt shy from the praise. “It was alright. We’re even.”
“Mhm.” Xu Qingyu smiled. “My little Yixi has grown up. She knows how to protect her sister now.”
This time, it wasn’t just shyness. Song Yixi’s heart was pounding so hard she wondered if she was dreaming. Xu Qingyu had never spoken to her like this. It didn’t sound like a compliment; it sounded like sweet nothings. It was intoxicating.
Song Yixi thought with heavy breath: Xu Qingyu really has changed so much.
“Xu Qingyu,” Song Yixi said, her voice lacking confidence. “Can you… only be like this with me?” Can she keep this kindness all to herself?
“Of course.” Xu Qingyu hooked a strand of Song Yixi’s long hair, winding her fingers through it one by one. The more hair she tangled in her fingers, the more the light in her eyes flickered.
“You must remember, we are the only ones who grew up together. I will only be good to you. I’ll teach you, compensate you—you can have whatever you want.”
As she spoke, her palm slid slowly down. Her thumb pressed against the vein in Song Yixi’s neck, pushing in slightly. “And you can only get these things from me. Otherwise…”
Otherwise, I won’t let you be this free.
Xu Qingyu’s smile slowly faded as she added, “Sister would be very sad.”
“Mhm.” Song Yixi understood, yet she didn’t. She didn’t pay much attention to Xu Qingyu’s small movements; her gaze was fixed on Xu Qingyu’s lips as they moved. She just wanted to kiss her.
Everything Xu Qingyu said seemed to be telling her that she could behave as badly as she wanted. Xu Qingyu would indulge her. But how far would that indulgence go?
Song Yixi wanted to test it. She leaned forward slowly, tentatively taking Xu Qingyu’s lip between her own.
Xu Qingyu leaned back against the seat, her body relaxed, showing no intent to refuse. Song Yixi grew bolder, cupping Xu Qingyu’s face and deepening the kiss.
Not only did Xu Qingyu not push her away, she even wrapped her arms around Song Yixi’s waist in cooperation. This gave Song Yixi a massive sense of psychological satisfaction.
They only stopped when they were both breathless. Song Yixi took a few gasps of air, watching Xu Qingyu’s reaction. Xu Qingyu’s face, usually pale due to her illness, actually showed a rare flush.
The sight made Song Yixi’s heart race again, and she leaned in for another kiss. She loved seeing Xu Qingyu blush because of her.
Xu Qingyu remained the same—sitting quietly, allowing Song Yixi’s clumsy, eager kisses. Song Yixi’s stamina was surprisingly good. Even though she was standing and leaning over to block the sun for Xu Qingyu, she felt neither hot nor tired.
Only the fear of being seen finally forced Song Yixi to pull away reluctantly. “Want some water?”
Xu Qingyu nodded slightly. Song Yixi picked up the water bottle and fed her again. This time, Xu Qingyu took several sips. Song Yixi wiped away the droplets as usual.
As she wiped, her own throat felt dry. Xu Qingyu noticed. “Have some.”
Song Yixi looked at the bottle—it was still more than half full. She tilted her head back and finished it all. Setting the bottle back, she said, “I’ll take you back now.”
“I’m not going back. I have class later.” Xu Qingyu moved her arm, intending to get out.
Song Yixi stopped her. “If you have class, you should have said so sooner. Wait for me.” She grabbed the water bottle and ran back into the gym to refill it with warm water.
When she returned, Xu Qingyu was touching up her makeup. Song Yixi slowed her pace, watching Xu Qingyu unscrew a lip balm with one hand and apply it slowly while looking in the mirror. Such a simple action made Song Yixi feel like Xu Qingyu was beckoning her.
She took a deep breath to calm her emotions, then walked over and handed the water to Xu Qingyu. “I’ll take you to your classroom.”
“Mhm.” Xu Qingyu put down the lip balm and buckled her seatbelt. Song Yixi had the strange sensation that Xu Qingyu was “binding” herself for her.
She quickly shook her head to drive those wild thoughts away. She was finding it easier and easier to fantasize about Xu Qingyu.
Once Song Yixi regained her composure, she drove Xu Qingyu to the teaching building. She didn’t plan on getting out, simply telling Xu Qingyu they had arrived.
Xu Qingyu didn’t move. She looked at her languidly. “Aren’t you walking me to the classroom?”
“Aren’t we here…?” Song Yixi realized. “You want me to walk you up? What if your classmates see?”
She felt quite guilty, having just kissed her.
Xu Qingyu countered with a question: “What about it? I held your hand when I walked you into university on your first day. Now that you’ve kissed me until my legs are weak, you can’t walk me in?”
