Chapter 53: I Want to Kiss That Mole on Your Leg
The onset of summer was quick. The rolling heat seemed to be melting people.
It was only morning, yet the sunlight hitting the stone path was already blindingly hot.
The flowers and plants in the garden swayed in the breeze. Having just been watered, drops of water slid down the grass blades, carrying a faint, earthy, herbaceous scent.
The villa, nestled among the greenery, also greeted the morning light, waking up on this summer day.
Because of Ming Jin’s compromised immunity, they didn’t dare leave the air conditioning on all night. When Song Xiangwan woke up, she felt a thin layer of sweat on her body.
Ming Jin’s body wasn’t warm; due to her poor health, she never retained much heat and always felt slightly cool.
The curtains blocked the light outside. In the dimness, Song Xiangwan’s gaze fell on Ming Jin’s face.
She was asleep, her long eyelashes cast down. Her skin was cool and pale, forming a stark contrast with the shadow. Her features were delicate and exuded coolness.
Just like the first time she saw Ming Jin, this person was cold like an ice beauty, appearing unapproachable.
Her eyes, eyebrows, and lips were beautiful, as exquisite as a work of art, with smooth curves that made one want to reach out and touch.
Song Xiangwan couldn’t resist. She gently raised her hand and tapped Ming Jin’s nose. Ming Jin woke up, as she was always a light sleeper.
Her light brown eyes opened. The sleepiness quickly faded. She reached out, caught the mischievous hand, and gently kissed it on her lips.
“Good morning,” Ming Jin said.
“Good morning,” Song Xiangwan replied, then leaned closer, pressing into Ming Jin’s embrace, listening to the sound of her heart beating.
Although it had been hot these two days, she still slept nestled in Ming Jin’s arms. Leaning on her chest, listening to her heartbeat, prevented nightmares.
She had happily shared this discovery with Dr. Wu during the last therapy session.
After lounging in Ming Jin’s arms for a while, she casually glanced at the time and jumped up as if startled: “How is it almost nine o’clock?”
The curtains were too good; they made one forget the time.
More importantly, the embrace was too comfortable; it made one forget the time.
Today was the day for Ming Jin’s routine check-up at Haicheng Hospital. Her heart had been recovering well recently, and the results from this visit would determine the exact date for the surgery.
“You go wash up first,” Ming Jin said softly. She propped herself up in the bedding. A flicker of stiffness in her eyes was momentarily visible as she looked down.
“Okay.” Song Xiangwan didn’t overthink it. When Ming Jin’s condition was relatively good, she usually didn’t want any help.
Normally, Ming Jin would get up after she finished washing.
But today, when Song Xiangwan came out of the bathroom, Ming Jin still hadn’t gotten out of bed. She was leaning against the pillow, her delicate brow slightly furrowed.
Her eyelashes were pressed down, and there was a subtle, deep look of endurance in her eyes, which made Song Xiangwan’s heart leap with fright.
“What’s wrong? Are you uncomfortable somewhere?” Song Xiangwan rushed over, cupping Ming Jin’s hands in her own.
She sniffed gently, then leaned in, lightly touching Ming Jin’s forehead with her own. Her temperature seemed normal.
“It’s nothing… just a bit dizzy. Maybe low blood pressure…” Ming Jin said faintly, gently pinching the space between her eyebrows. “Go eat. You still have rehearsals.”
The second public performance was over, and they were now rehearsing the dance for the third one.
Out of 32 contestants, 24 remained. The next round would feature the “Arch-Demon” challenge, and Song Xiangwan had been practicing very seriously recently.
“I pushed my rehearsal to the afternoon. I’ll go to the hospital with you in the morning.” Song Xiangwan’s worry didn’t abate.
Low blood pressure in the morning wasn’t new, but it looked particularly severe today.
Up close, her lips were pale, much worse than her complexion yesterday.
Very familiarly, Song Xiangwan pulled open the drawer, took out the blood pressure monitor, and checked Ming Jin’s blood pressure. It was consistently low, but within acceptable limits.
Still, she couldn’t be careless. Song Xiangwan said gently, “Do you want to lie down a bit longer?”
The hospital was a VIP facility anyway, so arriving a little later wouldn’t matter.
“No,” Ming Jin shook her head. As she braced herself on the bedding, ready to move, Song Xiangwan suddenly moved in, reaching out and wrapping her arms around her.
Without a word, she held Ming Jin securely in her arms, then leaned over, gently and slowly moving her onto the wheelchair.
The cat who had made a mistake looked over with an innocent expression. Ming Jin couldn’t bring herself to say a harsh word, only sighing softly.
While Ming Jin was washing up, Song Xiangwan went into the kitchen, opened the rice cooker, and stirred the pumpkin congee inside.
The congee, golden in color and perfectly thick, had fully cooked millet. A faint scent of rice mixed with the sweet aroma of pumpkin wafted through the air.
Her first attempt was successful.
Of course, most of the credit went to the rice cooker.
She had only woken up early once to chop the pumpkin, wash the millet, and put them in the rice cooker according to the ratio, letting the cooker handle the rest.
Song Xiangwan scooped one bowl out, then added a touch of osmanthus honey to the remaining congee.
The bowl without added sweetness was placed at Ming Jin’s spot. Ming Jin didn’t like sweets, and the pumpkin’s natural sweetness was enough.
Ming Jin took a while to come out. Her morning routine was especially long today. After a long wait, she finally appeared.
Sister Qiu pushed the wheelchair to the dining table and specifically placed the pumpkin millet congee in front of Ming Jin: “Ms. Song cooked this congee this morning. Please try it.”
Ming Jin looked up in surprise and saw the cat, her face full of anticipation, her eyes sparkling.
“For my sake, since I made it myself, will you eat a few extra bites, please?” The cat was very good at acting cute and coaxing people.
“Why didn’t you sleep properly and make this instead?” Ming Jin frowned slightly, but still touched the spoon with her hand, gently stirring the congee.
“It wasn’t any trouble, and I wanted to,” Song Xiangwan said obediently.
Xu Zhiyan and Lin Rong buried their heads in their food, pretending not to see the lovey-dovey interaction between the two women.
Ming Jin hadn’t had much appetite these past two days, which worried Song Xiangwan, prompting this idea.
Since she made it herself, Ming Jin surely wouldn’t want to waste it, and would at least eat a couple of bites.
However, despite Song Xiangwan’s expectant gaze, Ming Jin only rested her hand on the spoon; she didn’t lift it.
The cat continued to plead: “Just try it. If you don’t like it, I won’t make it next time. But since I’ve already made it this time, please do it for me, okay?”
Ming Jin had no choice. Her eyes darkened. She raised her hand, but as she did, her arm violently trembled, and the spoon instantly dropped.
It clattered onto the table. The color instantly drained from Ming Jin’s face. The pumpkin congee splashed, scattering small droplets onto her clothes.
Lin Rong also looked up, put down her spoon, and quickly got up, moving closer to check Ming Jin’s expression.
Then, she reached out, pressing down on Ming Jin’s shoulder. The force of her fingers pressed down immediately.
Ming Jin’s lips clamped shut almost instantly. She lowered her eyes and closed them, enduring the sudden stiffness.
“Does it hurt here?” Lin Rong, observing her reaction, naturally understood.
Her palm slid along the line of Ming Jin’s shoulder muscle, pressing gently downward. Ming Jin’s back was trembling slightly, but she never made a sound.
“A stiff neck… wouldn’t be this issue…” Lin Rong muttered under her breath, glancing at Song Xiangwan.
These two sleep together at night. What kind of antics have they been up to now?
Song Xiangwan instantly understood. She slept on Ming Jin’s right side. Ming Jin had been sleeping with her arm around her these past two nights, right where her shoulder was compressed.
Having been pressed for two or three nights, the discomfort probably hadn’t just started today, but it was exceptionally severe today, finally exposing itself.
Lin Rong didn’t clarify whether she fully understood or not, only saying, “Don’t put any stress on it for the next two days. Rest, and you’ll be fine.”
“The shoulder can affect the cervical spine. Since you already have low blood pressure, it’s normal to feel a bit dizzy these days.”
Lin Rong withdrew her hand. Without the need to resist the pain, Ming Jin had the strength to look up. The first thing she saw was her cat.
She met a pair of red eyes. Ming Jin felt a slight tenderness in her heart: “It’s alright.”
Song Xiangwan didn’t speak, looking sullen as if a dark cloud was hanging over her head. She pulled a napkin and bent down to wipe the stains off Ming Jin’s clothes.
While wiping, she squatted down, hugged Ming Jin’s waist, and rubbed herself against her. She said softly, “Can’t you be nicer to yourself…?”
She had slept wonderfully these two days; hugging her meant no nightmares.
But she hadn’t realized that Ming Jin had endured the pain for two days as well.
Her right arm was now completely unable to lift. Ming Jin tentatively tried but gave up. She finally raised her left hand, pressed it against the back of Song Xiangwan’s head, and said gently, “It’s nothing. Didn’t Dr. Lin say I’ll be fine after a couple of days’ rest?”
“Switch sides these next two days. Sleep on my left…”
“Ming Jin.” Song Xiangwan rarely called her by her full name. The seriousness in her tone even surprised herself.
Everyone at the table was startled. Xu Zhiyan and Lin Rong exchanged looks. Sister Qiu lowered her head, pretending to be a quail.
It had probably been years since anyone dared to call Ming Jin by her full name.
The last person who dared to call her that was likely already swiftly chased out of Haicheng.
Song Xiangwan was simply furious, utterly enraged. She was already like this, and she suggested switching from the right side to the left side? Did this person have any regard for her own body?
The little canary was angry, and the entire villa could feel the resentment radiating from Song Xiangwan.
The angry Song Xiangwan stopped talking. She picked up the bowl, spooned some pumpkin congee, and brought it to Ming Jin’s mouth.
Being fed…
This was something the highly self-respecting CEO Ming would never allow, even at her most severely injured; she stopped it as soon as she woke up.
But at this moment, those phoenix eyes were slightly simmering with anger, staring fiercely at Ming Jin.
Ming Jin opened her mouth and accepted the spoonful of congee.
Lin Rong couldn’t suppress the curve of her lips. She lowered her head, her shoulders trembling slightly with laughter.
It was truly a rare sight. Every dog has its day, and she had never seen CEO Ming look so flustered.
Ming Jin’s eyes held a hint of helplessness. She knew that the cat was truly provoked now.
There was nothing she could do.
Home has a fierce wife.
Xu Zhiyan also lowered her head and gently nudged Lin Rong with her foot, whispering: “Stop laughing.”
But she, too, was struggling to hold it in. She quickly ate a couple of bites and stood up: “Sis, Sis-in-law, I’m full. I’m heading to work.”
She swiftly escaped, leaving Lin Rong, the lone third wheel.
Lin Rong: “…” That little girl has no loyalty.
Not only was her right to eat revoked, but her right to change clothes privately was also taken away.
Her clothes were stained. When she entered the walk-in closet to change, Song Xiangwan followed her, helped her pick out clothes from the cabinet, and then didn’t leave, watching intently.
“I can manage myself,” Ming Jin said faintly, holding the clothes.
The kitten pouted, stating matter-of-factly, “I’m still angry. Don’t provoke me.”
With that, she squatted down in front of Ming Jin and reached out to unbutton her shirt. Ming Jin instinctively raised her hand, pressing down on Song Xiangwan’s wrist, refusing and restraining her.
Ming Jin: “…” A spoiled cat, taking advantage of my kindness.
The stalemate lasted for about ten seconds. The pale, slender fingers loosened, and Ming Jin sighed, seemingly resigned.
The buttons on her shirt were small and difficult to undo. Song Xiangwan lowered her head, practically burying it in Ming Jin’s chest, seriously unbuttoning them one by one.
No matter how many times she saw it, her eyes were still stung by the sight of the scar across her abdomen.
Song Xiangwan’s movements paused for a moment. Ming Jin also felt a surge of tension. Although she didn’t speak, her eyelashes trembled slightly in the air.
Song Xiangwan leaned down, moving closer until her breath warmed the scar, a slight tickle.
Before Ming Jin could speak, she suddenly felt a soft sensation.
Song Xiangwan’s lips gently touched the scar. She kissed it softly. Then, still in Ming Jin’s embrace, she lifted her head, looking up at her from below with shimmering eyes.
Her gaze was full of distress, full of love, like boiling water overflowing after being heated—a burning intensity that couldn’t be suppressed.
Ming Jin’s fingers moved slightly. She gently pressed against Song Xiangwan’s jaw, stroking it as if touching an exquisite piece of art.
Leaning forward, Song Xiangwan straightened her body, kissing Ming Jin’s lips from below.
Her thumb pressed onto Ming Jin’s abdomen, gently tracing the scar. Her teeth nipped Ming Jin’s lip, and she whispered: “Ah-Jin…”
The kiss trailed down, sliding along her cheek to her neck. Then, she opened her mouth and bit her neck, not too hard, not too soft.
“Are you seducing me?” Song Xiangwan’s tongue gently traced the bite mark she had just left. Her tone was wronged. “This is your punishment.”
“You bit me, and you feel wronged?” Ming Jin couldn’t help but lean back from the kiss, the wheelchair sliding back slightly.
But the person in front of her didn’t pull away. She clung tightly to her again, kissing Ming Jin’s neck: “Ah-Jin, you were naughty.”
“Next time you doubt that I would detest your scar, I will punish you again.” Song Xiangwan’s voice was delivered right next to her ear, their body heat intertwined.
The hand resting on Ming Jin’s abdomen also grew restless, lingering on the scar, then sliding up her waist, pressing on the metal clasp of her bra.
“Song Xiangwan…” Ming Jin’s breathing began to rise uncontrollably. She’s really pushing her luck.
She had unbuttoned her shirt to change clothes, but the inner clothing wasn’t dirty.
The hand didn’t move further, but it didn’t unfasten the clasp either. It merely rested there, gently tapping the clasp, her voice soft: “Say something nice.”
It was clearly a threat, but the way she said it was curvy and enchanting, full of flirtatious implication.
“Say something nice to stop me from being so angry, and I won’t mess around.” The combination of threat, flirtation, and self-righteousness was hard to understand. How could they blend so skillfully?
While speaking, her lips weren’t idle. They gently brushed Ming Jin’s neck, then bit her earlobe.
The warm sensation instantly engulfed it. Ming Jin’s heart seized up. She tried to suppress the rising of her breath: “What do you want to hear?”
“Call me…” Song Xiangwan’s voice was seductive. “Ah-Jin…”
Ming Jin was involuntarily aroused by the kiss, and she knew that this cat would be difficult to placate. She whispered: “Wanwan…”
“Not that.” Her teeth nipped her earlobe, a light but firm punishment.
“Good girl…” Ming Jin felt that her very life force was in the grip of this enchantress.
“What else?” This time there was no bite, but she was still pushing her luck.
She released the hand that had been threatening the clasp, but instead grabbed Ming Jin’s hand, guided it under the hem of her own clothes, and plunged it in.
The shirt was pushed up. Her narrow waist was completely exposed—a beautiful, soft waistline. The small of her back flowed smoothly into her pants, while the curve of her torso rose above. Ming Jin’s hand rested on this soft, warm waist.
Her fingers couldn’t help but tighten, pulling the cat closer into her embrace. She gently kissed her nose and whispered: “Baby, my baby…”
She used force in her arm, causing her entire shoulder to throb painfully, but she didn’t relax her grip at all, wanting to melt Song Xiangwan into her embrace.
“From now on, you have to listen to your Baby, okay?” Song Xiangwan lifted her chin and kissed Ming Jin’s lips, a light, fleeting touch.
The position she was squatting in turned into a single-knee kneel. She guided Ming Jin’s hand, letting it flow over the skin around her waistband.
“My legs are weak, Ah-Jin…” she said softly, her tongue tracing Ming Jin’s lip.
She had intended to punish Ming Jin, but ended up getting herself aroused… Song Xiangwan felt like she could barely kneel steadily.
I want her so badly, I want her so much… She felt like she was melting from the heat. In the middle of the day, she wanted… she wanted… I can’t think about it anymore…
She still had to consider Ming Jin’s body.
She pulled Ming Jin’s hand away, lightly bit her cleanly trimmed fingertip. A flush crept onto her cheeks.
Ming Jin’s nose brushed against Song Xiangwan’s cheek, stroking gently, and she whispered: “Enchantress, how many people did you seduce in these three years…”
She naturally knew that she was Song Xiangwan’s first love.
All of Song Xiangwan’s tricks in bed had been taught to her by Ming Jin.
The cat also enjoyed such things, tossing and turning in bed, demanding new tricks from her again and again.
These three years… This question, she dared not contemplate. The thought of it instantly enveloped her heart in endless rage.
The idea that someone else had seen such a seductive Song Xiangwan… it was completely unacceptable to her.
But this was a cold, hard fact.
She had left for three years, ignoring everything. Whatever Song Xiangwan did, she had no right to criticize.
She just couldn’t help but be furiously jealous.
“None. How could you accuse me like that?” Song Xiangwan leaned in and bit Ming Jin’s lip again. Another punishment from her.
Song Xiangwan wasn’t lying. She had lived a celibate life for three years. Song Xiangwan wasn’t a person with a high libido normally, but when she was with Ming Jin, she became utterly pliable.
Ming Jin didn’t speak, only soothingly stroked the skin on her waist.
It didn’t matter whether she believed it or not. Even if it was a lie, it didn’t matter. She truly was willing to forgive Song Xiangwan without limits, unable to help but drown in her embrace.
Her shoulder was still aching dully, and she couldn’t really lift her arm.
But after Song Xiangwan finished buttoning the shirt, she strained to raise her hand and buttoned the very top button herself.
A feeling of insecurity.
The next challenge was changing her pants. She was uncomfortable showing her atrophied leg, even to Song Xiangwan. It was very rare.
Normally, it was always covered.
Now, she was in a difficult position.
The cat was staring intently. Should she tell her to leave?
She definitely wouldn’t agree.
Song Xiangwan finally relented first: “Give me a kiss, and I’ll go out.”
“Okay.” That was a relatively simple condition. Ming Jin looked up, waiting for the kiss.
It didn’t come. Instead, she felt a soft sensation on her ear. Hot breath carrying a voice rushed onto her eardrum: “I want to kiss that mole on your leg.”
Ming Jin had a mole on her leg. Only Song Xiangwan knew about it. It was in a tricky spot, on the inner root of her thigh.
She had kissed it, and licked it, before.
Song Xiangwan continued to press close to her ear and said, “I’ll kiss it once, and then I’ll leave. Just once. I promise not to push my luck.”
The scar was no longer an obstacle between them.
But her leg was still Ming Jin’s forbidden territory. Song Xiangwan wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to make a breakthrough.
Her leg was noticeably soft, clearly atrophied and deformed, but Song Xiangwan’s eyes held no aversion, only the sight of that beautiful little mole.
The satisfied cat backed away, even lightly licking her lips in front of Ming Jin.
The door closed. Ming Jin felt short of breath. The hand gripping her pants trembled slightly.
The kiss hadn’t physically touched her, yet she felt incredibly hot, so hot that her consciousness blurred slightly.
Her chest rose and fell violently. She tried hard to control her breathing, calming her racing heartbeat one breath at a time.
Song Xiangwan hadn’t pushed her luck. She only kissed it once, with a devout attitude, like kissing her own goddess, then fled as if escaping a disaster.
She was losing control of herself. Her legs felt too weak to stand.
If she had kissed her twice more, she wouldn’t have been able to leave. She would have collapsed into Ming Jin’s arms.
She rolled onto the bed, hugged Ming Jin’s pillow, took a deep breath, and completely wrapped herself and the pillow together.
The restlessness in her heart grew wildly.
