The Omega Attacked the Alpha - Chapter 29
The dust from the commotion at the school gate finally settled. The Alpha who had been shouting so loudly just moments ago now wished he could sink into a crack in the pavement. Flushed with shame and boiling with rage, he clenched his fists, deeply regretting that he hadn’t joined Liu Kun’s wife in beating Pang Zhijie. It was all that jerk’s fault for making him look like a fool.
When Song Tao’s gaze fell on him, he felt as if he’d been stung. The moment of reckoning had arrived, and with so many classmates watching, he couldn’t hide.
He forced himself to speak: “I was misled by Pang Zhijie.”
His first instinct was to shift the blame. He quickly added a defense: “I was only trying to stand up for justice.”
Song Tao: “Whether you were standing up for justice or just looking for attention is something only you know. Either way, what you need to do now isn’t explain yourself to me—it’s apologize.”
Song Tao didn’t have a single “forgive and forget” bone in his body. Why should he forgive? The things this man had said earlier were incredibly foul.
The Alpha’s face turned an ugly shade of red. He squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth: “I’m sorry. I misunderstood you.”
He waited for Song Tao to say it was fine.
Song Tao let out a huff. “I don’t accept your apology.”
Alpha: “!”
Song Tao coolly flashed him a middle finger. “Idiot.”
Ignoring the seething Alpha, he turned to Zhang Tianxing. The Omega’s smile instantly became sweet and sincere. “Master, thank you.”
He gave Zhang Tianxing a deep, respectful bow.
Ever since Pang Zhijie had sought him out at his home, Song Tao had been thinking seriously. First, he had to return to school; but he couldn’t go back with a ruined reputation. He also refused to stay under Liu Kun. After much deliberation, he had nervously contacted Professor Zhang Tianxing.
Fortunately, the man was willing to believe him and take him on as a student. That was why Zhang Tianxing had appeared today to back him up in public.
Zhang Tianxing patted his shoulder. “You’re probably going to be busy today. Take the day off and come in tomorrow. It’s better to stay away from the crowd and the drama for now.” He glanced at the students who were still lingering for gossip.
“Thank you, Professor.”
As Song Tao left the school, he pointedly walked past Yu Ming. The guy who had claimed to “reject him on behalf of the group” couldn’t even bring himself to look Song Tao in the eye.
“My, it seems it’s quite obvious whether anyone wants me or not. Some people, on the other hand, couldn’t get into this group even if they begged~”
Yu Ming clenched his fists, unable to muster a single word of rebuttal.
Song Tao was, after all, a man who believed in a tooth for a tooth.
Song Tao wound through the city to a café far from the school. Pushing the door open, his grey-blue eyes scanned the room until they found a familiar figure.
Liu Kun’s wife, Wu Shuang, was sitting in a corner elegantly sipping coffee.
He walked over and sat down. The former mentor’s wife and the student looked at each other and shared a knowing smile.
Wu Shuang: “Thank you for providing the evidence.”
She was referring to the proof of the affair between Liu Kun and Pang Zhijie. Song Tao had investigated it specifically after hearing Liu Kun’s “confession” in the dark room. He had printed it all out, handed it to Wu Shuang—who had been a victim of domestic violence for years and coordinated today’s timing with her.
While Pang Zhijie was performing at the school gate, Wu Shuang had been watching from a distance. She had waited for the exact moment Song Tao told her: the police making their move. That was her cue to step in and deliver the final blow to Pang Zhijie.
“Congratulations on escaping that hellhole.”
Song Tao raised his coffee cup, and the two shared a gentle toast.
With Liu Kun facing multiple criminal charges, Wu Shuang’s family would finally stop blocking her divorce. Previously, Liu Kun was a prestigious, high-ranking professor at the First Imperial Academy with a bright future. Now, he was just a prisoner and a murderer.
It was a pleasant and productive day.
Normally, the police would have summoned Song Tao for questioning, but a “certain person” in high places had spoken up, saving him the hassle.
After a busy day, Qin Zheng returned to his residence a large luxury flat in the city. At over two hundred square meters, the place felt empty because it lacked clutter; he’d even gotten rid of the coffee table.
After washing up, Qin Zheng donned a black silk bathrobe. The high-quality silk shimmered like dark water under the city lights outside. Water dripped from his hair; without his usual styled look, he appeared several years younger.
He glanced at the kitchen island. There was a bottle of wine sitting there.
To be precise, it wasn’t a full bottle; it was a little more than half.
He knew that picking it up would be the start of a total collapse in his willpower. He delayed the moment as long as possible, distracting himself with the plans for the Space Station project.
The representatives from the Imperial Capital had met with all five local leaders recently, but they hadn’t decided who would get the project yet. They claimed everyone’s proposals had minor issues and needed revisions based on the Empire’s core designs.
The document in his hand was already the tenth version submitted by his subordinates.
Qin Zheng rubbed his brow. It annoyed him that they could submit ten versions; it meant all ten were replaceable. None of them possessed that unique, high-quality “wow factor” that would make someone choose it instantly.
It was frustrating.
This was the biggest project he had handled since taking over the family. Although he was the head of the house, his position wasn’t entirely stable. He needed this win. If he secured this project, no one in the family would dare to oppose him.
His head throbbed. Qin Zheng closed the screen and leaned back. He knew nothing about space station engineering; he had studied economics and management—how to kill and how to lead. Engineering and mechanics weren’t among his interests. He could only judge a proposal based on the written descriptions.
But whether those descriptions were exaggerated or accurate was hard to say. If he looked for an outside expert to review them, he risked leaking the designs. All five families were currently watching each other like hawks; a leak would be disastrous.
It was a dilemma. Was he supposed to learn engineering himself?
The irritation made him feel parched. He needed moisture. Qin Zheng opened his eyes and looked at the half-bottle of wine. His throat constricted involuntarily.
He hated himself for it. He hated this version of himself that craved Song Tao’s essence.
He shouldn’t be like this.
Damn Succubus! He closed his eyes again, letting his horns, tail, and wings out. Staying in his succubus form made his body feel a little more comfortable.
Song Tao.
The boy’s face appeared in his mind. Now even that brat was riding over his head—literally. That heartless jerk had taken what he wanted and run off without so much as a thank-you.
Next time they met, he was definitely going to beat him.
Meanwhile, Song Tao was out celebrating with Su He and Wei Siqi. The three of them were in a private KTV room with flashing lights and deafening music. Five tall, muscular Alpha and Beta male models were dancing for them, occasionally lifting their shirts to show off their abs.
Song Tao was shouting with excitement. While he secretly thought these abs were nothing compared to Qin Zheng’s, he enjoyed the atmosphere. He wasn’t a stiff person. He cheered them on, making the models dance even harder.
Su He, caught up in the energy, was screaming with a flushed face.
An Alpha walked up to Su He, grabbed his small hand, and slowly guided it onto his abs. Su He shot Song Tao an excited look. Song Tao nodded, and the little Omega—who had seen the world but never “played” personally—finally touched the muscle. His eyes widened in shock.
So this is what abs feel like! I could touch these forever!
The Alpha performed a “wave,” and Su He was so excited he didn’t know how to react, just screaming with an unstoppable grin.
Another Alpha approached Song Tao and reached for his hand.
Song Tao, ever the pro, called out to Su He: “Xiao Su, watch and learn~”
Su He looked over to see the beautiful Omega acting like a true boss. He calmly let the model place his hand on his abs, then, like a magician, Song Tao flicked his fingers and several high-value bills appeared.
Su He was stunned.
Song Tao tucked the bills into the Alpha’s waistband. If his hand had gone any lower, he would have touched.
The Omega raised an eyebrow. Under the red lights, he looked as vibrant as a wild rose. Su He could clearly see the male model Alpha having a physical reaction.
Su He gave him a thumbs-up. He wasn’t as smooth as Song Tao, so he just pulled out the “flexing money” Song Tao had given him and awkwardly tucked the bills into the Alpha’s shirt over his pectoral muscles.
Having received the tip, the Alpha generously took Su He’s hand for a more thorough exploration.
Wei Siqi was with a Beta—Song Tao hadn’t forgotten he was strictly gay and had chosen accordingly. Being from a wealthy family, Wei Siqi remained poised, casually tucking bills into the Beta’s shorts.
The three were having the time of their lives.
Outside the door, Guan Si was having a headache. The boss had sent him to track Song Tao, and he never expected the boy to be here. However, maintaining his professional ethics, he sent the photos to the boss while secretly praying for the oblivious Omega.
Qin Zheng stared at the photos. His screen emitted a blue light, but for some reason, his face looked green.
Five photos in total.
-
Song Tao smiling as an Alpha took his hand.
-
Bills appearing in his fingers.
-
Tucking the bills into trousers.
-
Song Tao staring at where the Alpha was “reacting.” The male model actually looked shy under his gaze.
-
Song Tao leaning on the sofa, sipping wine with sparkling eyes.
He looked like a seasoned regular.
Guan Si sent a sixth photo: Song Tao and Su He had stood up to dance closely with the Alphas.
Qin Zheng’s chest heaved with suppressed anger. The Omega was even more “carefree” than he had imagined.
“Master, a stranger is calling~”
The device announced the call several times before Song Tao heard it. He flopped onto the sofa and checked the unknown number. “Hello?”
“Get the hell out here!”
The voice on the other end was so fierce it felt like it was trying to bite his ear off through the phone. Song Tao recognized Qin Zheng’s voice instantly. It was easy for a man like him to get a phone number. Song Tao just smiled and took a sip of his drink to wet his throat.
The gulping sound reached Qin Zheng’s ears, reminding him of how he had gulped down Song Tao’s essence that night.
“Who is this?”
“You’re crazy!”
Song Tao hung up and burst out laughing. He was so wicked; Qin Zheng was probably dying of rage.
“What are you laughing at?” Wei Siqi asked, raising a bottle.
Song Tao toasted him. “Laughing at a stray male dog who’s been driven insane~”
Wei Siqi squinted at him. “Are you in love?”
Song Tao sprayed his mouthful of wine right into the face of the Alpha who was just walking back over.
As Song Tao apologized and Wei Siqi scrambled out of the way, the Alpha stood there stunned. “It’s fine. I’ll go wash up.”
In the restroom, the Alpha stared at the wine on his face in the mirror. After a second, he licked away the wine from the corner of his mouth. He savored it. It smelled so good—wine mixed with an Omega’s saliva was even better than usual. He looked like a total pervert as he wiped the wine from his face and licked his hand.
Song Tao, unaware of this, was still shocked by Wei Siqi’s question. “What makes you say that?”
Wei Siqi acted like a master detective. “Unconscious giggling, chatting with a mystery person, using suggestive nicknames… what else could it be?”
“There is only one truth!” Wei Siqi hooked an arm around Song Tao’s neck, using his hand like a blade and the bottle as a microphone. “Speak! Who is the pig lucky enough to have a ‘cabbage’ like you?!”
“What are you guys talking about?” Su He returned from the dance floor.
“Interrogating him about his secret lover.”
“Ah…” Su He put on a “I know but I won’t tell” face. Wei Siqi caught him instantly, turning the “microphone” toward Su He. “You know? Who?!”
“Master, a stranger is calling~”
“I have to take this.” Song Tao used the chance to escape. He answered the phone. “Why are you calling again? Who even are you!”
“Your sugar daddy!”
“Oh~” Song Tao’s voice went through a series of playful trills as he walked into the hallway. “So it’s my sugar daddy~”
The Alpha from before had just returned. Hearing that phrase, his eyes darkened. The Omega didn’t even look at him as he walked to the end of the hall. The Alpha stared at his tall, beautiful back. While “sugar daddy” could be a joke, that tone was anything but innocent.
He felt the bills in his pocket. Is this the money the Omega gets from his sugar daddy?
“Sugar daddy, I missed you so much. Why haven’t you called?” Song Tao was being incredibly dramatic, but his voice was so pleasant and flirtatious it wasn’t repulsive.
Qin Zheng let out a huff. Missed me? He was clearly having too much fun at the bar to even recognize his voice. He’d probably forgotten who Qin Zheng even was.
“Why the huff? If you don’t believe me, I’m hanging up.”
Qin Zheng: “If you dare hang up, I’ll skin you alive.”
Song Tao leaned against the windowsill, watching the city lights. He asked with zero seriousness, “Skin what? No need for that; it’s already been done.”
Qin Zheng: “…”
His thirst intensified. He knew exactly what Song Tao meant. He had experienced it with his mouth, his tongue, and his throat!
He didn’t want to continue the topic. He’d already lost that battle last time.
Unless…
Qin Zheng’s eyes lit up. Unless Song Tao “serviced” him back. Then they’d be even. As for whether Song Tao would be willing—he could just use force. Just like the brat had done to him.
Whatever. Brothers, boundaries it didn’t matter. He had to settle the score!
“Qin Zheng?”
“Get out of that bar right now, or my men will drag you out. Your choice.”
Song Tao went to tell him not to be overbearing, but Qin Zheng had already hung up.
He cursed and saved the number under the contact name: [Stray Male Dog].
He headed back. The male model Alpha was still waiting for him.
“Hello.”
Song Tao finally looked at him.
The Alpha pulled out the bills Song Tao had given him and tried to return them. “Actually, I make a decent living. I don’t go home with clients. If you don’t mind, I could take care of you. It’s better than being with an old man.”
He called him sugar daddy, so he’s definitely an old man, the Alpha thought.
Meanwhile, the “old man” Qin Zheng picked up the bottle of wine. It had been open all night; if he didn’t drink it now, it would be a waste. And waste was a bad habit.
Besides, now that he’d decided he could settle the score whenever he wanted by making Song Tao drink his essence, the psychological burden vanished.
He poured a full glass. Since it was mostly wine, the scent wasn’t overpowering, but to a Succubus, even a drop was fragrant.
Qin Zheng took a deep, solemn drink. His tall frame relaxed. He gulped down more.
His tail lashed back and forth. So good.
Just drinking it caused a reaction. He didn’t hold back; he reached down, opening his robe.
His “entrance” was making itself known again, but he had zero interest in touching it. If he spoiled that part of himself, he might as well get a sex change and become an Omega. Why bother being an Alpha?
But his tail understood his body’s needs. It desperately wanted to get inside and take him to heaven.
Qin Zheng’s willpower was immense. He grabbed his tail, bit down on it, and licked the heart-shaped tip to bring himself pleasure.
It didn’t take long. As he finished, Song Tao’s face appeared in his mind.
“Nngh—”
Take it all!
Song Tao stared at the bills in front of him, processing the situation. Sugar daddy? Old man? Qin the Old Man?
He burst out laughing. The sight of the radiant Omega made the Alpha’s heart race. He smiled back foolishly. People in this line of work could still be surprisingly “pure.”
Song Tao: “You think I’m being kept?”
The Alpha shook his head quickly. “No, no! I mean, it’s just a job, right? We’re all just working.”
He tried to explain, his tongue getting tied.
Song Tao: “You’re young, but the ‘old man’ has a pension. So, sorry~”
He pushed the door open and shouted to his friends: “Let’s go, let’s go! Before the ‘old man’ comes to catch me!”
Su He & Wei Siqi: He called him an old man! They really are dating!
The male model wanted to try one last time, but Song Tao didn’t give him a chance.
Outside, Song Tao handed Su He over to Wei Siqi. “Take Xiao Su home. I have things to do.”
Wei Siqi: “Going to your tryst with the old man?”
Su He: “I swear! I didn’t say a word!” He was very tight-lipped and wouldn’t reveal Song Tao’s secrets without permission—not even to a best friend.
Song Tao ruffled Su He’s hair. “Good job.”
Su He beamed. “No one is more important than the friend who takes me to see male models! I will guard your secrets to the death!” He raised a hand in a salute.
Song Tao and Wei Siqi shared a look. Yep, he’s drunk.
Once they were gone, Song Tao looked around and shouted: “Take me to him!”
Guan Si emerged from a corner. Song Tao greeted him with a smile. The man had seen him in the KTV; the little Omega really did have two faces.
He gave a respectful smile and invited Song Tao into the car.
When Song Tao arrived at Qin Zheng’s place, the battle was already over. One glass of wine remained in the bottle—kept “just in case.”
Inside the luxury flat, a movie was playing on the wall. Song Tao’s arrival didn’t stir the Alpha. Song Tao casually changed his shoes and glanced at the movie.
He went to sit down.
Qin Zheng: “You stink.”
Song Tao, who was just going to sit, decided to sit right in his lap instead. Like a cat, he rubbed against Qin Zheng’s chest, pushing his robe open.
“Let me stink you up! Let me stink you up!”
Qin Zheng looked disgusted, tilting his head back. He grabbed Song Tao by the collar and hauled him off. In the process, he was left quite exposed.
Song Tao: “Ooh~ wearing so little? You must be trying to seduce me~”
Before Qin Zheng could hit him, he ran giggling into the bathroom. He even took a wrong turn into the closet first.
The sound of the shower started.
Qin Zheng stared at the movie but wasn’t watching. After a while, he thought: Wait. Who told him he could come here? I only told him to get out of the bar.
Guan Si was really getting sloppy.
Before he could figure it out, and while Song Tao was still showering, the doorbell rang. He checked the monitor; Guan Si was at the door with a bag.
“Sir, the delivery is here.”
He didn’t need to guess who ordered it.
“You guys eat it.”
“…Thank you, sir.”
Song Tao emerged, drying his hair with a towel, wearing only a bathrobe. “I’m starving. Is the food here yet?”
“It’s here.”
Song Tao looked around. “Where?”
“I gave it to Guan Si. Takeout is unsanitary.”
Song Tao hurled his towel at Qin Zheng. “Then what am I supposed to eat? I’m starving to death!” He put his hands on his hips.
Qin Zheng’s deep eyes turned dangerous. He leaned back against the sofa, his gaze landing on the Omega’s lips. They were beautiful, always seeming to hold a trace of a smile. They were plump, though that lip ring was a bit in the way.
“Are you really that hungry?”
“Of course! I didn’t even have dinner before I went out to dance. That’s hard labor!”
Song Tao walked over and opened his device to order more food.
His wrist was snatched.
Qin Zheng: “Don’t bother. I have food here.”
Qin Zheng always had the best of everything. Song Tao was happy to have some nutrition after a night of drinking.
“Where?”
Qin Zheng hesitated for a final second before pulling Song Tao toward him with sudden force.
“Right here.”
Song Tao, caught off guard, collapsed onto him and finally understood exactly what Qin Zheng was offering for “dinner.”
