The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 9
Chapter 9
“This… might not be a good idea…”
Yu Guiyao looked conflicted. Just as she was about to refuse, Fu Wenchen immediately changed her tune: “I’ll stay dressed. You only need to help massage the muscles with severe strain…”
“Actually, I almost forgot your hand injury is quite serious. Never mind, I’ll just endure it for the night. It wouldn’t be good if your hand started bleeding again…”
“No, I can do it!” Yu Guiyao agreed instantly. “My hand is fine, it’s just a small scratch. You don’t know—once, my hand was pierced by a nail, and I kept working right after it was bandaged.”
It was just a simple massage, and ten thousand yuan would be hers. Besides, if the other party didn’t mind, why should she? Thinking of her family’s debts, Yu Guiyao looked at her expectantly, hoping she would agree.
Hearing this, Fu Wenchen felt a pang of heartache and whispered, “Let’s forget it. Your hand was injured because of me. I can’t hurt you again just for my own selfish desires…”
“What selfish desires? You’re forced by circumstances! Your condition is already this serious, how can we not treat it?” Yu Guiyao interrupted her, adding: “I’m not bragging, but my massage skills are excellent. Even using just my fingers, I can make a ‘withered tree sprout in spring.’ I guarantee you’ll feel so comfortable you’ll be walking on air…”
As she boasted, she carried the woman into the elevator.
Fu Wenchen stared at her intently and asked, “Your technique is that good? Where did you learn it?”
“Also, even using your fingers will strain the wound on your palm.”
“Don’t worry, I definitely won’t hurt myself. I’m self-taught; even the professional technicians outside aren’t as good as me.”
As she spoke, Yu Guiyao didn’t seem to think anything was wrong. Her fox-like eyes shimmered beautifully, and her red lips moved non-stop: “Or I could let my grandmother help? Her technique is top-tier too!”
Fu Wenchen: “…”
“No… no need to trouble Grandmother…”
She couldn’t take it anymore; her ears flushed crimson as she finally relented: “We’ll try it later then.”
“Great!” Yu Guiyao’s eyes crinkled into crescents, happy to have secured this “order.”
They soon reached the underground parking lot. Cars were coming and going, but no one paid them any attention. Fu Wenchen had already pulled up the hood of the denim jacket, burying her face in the girl’s chest, which effectively hid the bloodstains on Yu Guiyao’s front.
No one would expect a famous Movie Queen to be carried out so openly.
Still, Yu Guiyao was nervous. She quickly found her little electric scooter, placed Fu Wenchen on the back seat, put on a jacket from the front basket, and donned her helmet. After a moment’s thought, she turned around and placed a helmet on Fu Wenchen’s head.
Fu Wenchen looked up at her, her eyes glistening. She whispered, “Maybe I should drive? Your hands are inconvenient.”
“It’s fine, it doesn’t affect it.” Yu Guiyao helped her buckle the helmet, her fingertips accidentally brushing against the woman’s chin. She then put on gloves, hopped onto the scooter, and smiled back at her: “Hold on tight~”
“Mm…” At that moment, no one knew how violently Fu Wenchen’s heart was beating. The thumping sound was driving her crazy.
She knew she loved her, but she didn’t realize that after seven years, that love had settled into a dense mix of longing and madness. Now, just a tiny, insignificant touch from the other girl made her breath hitch and her heart thunder.
The scooter sped out of the parking lot. Fu Wenchen’s arms slowly wrapped around Yu Guiyao’s waist, and she leaned her face against her back. A faint smile touched her lips, but tears couldn’t help but well up in her eyes. A few crystal drops fell, quickly evaporating in the cool night breeze.
At first, Yu Guiyao was stiff from the embrace, but as the cold wind blew, she grew used to it.
They headed north along the coastline. The salty sea breeze blew gently. Only a few scattered streetlights cast overlapping shadows on the ground. Not far away, the sea surface shimmered with bioluminescence. As the wind blew through their soft hair, Fu Wenchen became mesmerized. She hugged the woman’s waist tightly, wishing they could just keep going forever…
Until they hit a bumpy backroad. The scooter jolted up and down.
She immediately gripped the hem of Yu Guiyao’s clothes, calling out with a flushed face: “It’s too steep… the bouncing… it hurts…”
“Just hang in there,” Yu Guiyao called back. “Your butt might hurt a little, but we’ll be there soon.”
Fu Wenchen: “…”
“Who said it was my butt…” Her ears turned red as she gave Yu Guiyao’s leg a light kick, whispering: “There’s a small handle in front of the seat… it’s poking me…”
“What did you say?” Yu Guiyao didn’t hear her.
Fu Wenchen frowned, about to repeat herself, when she was shushed.
“Shh! We’re here. Keep your voice down; don’t let my grandmother find us.”
“Why?”
Because if she sees me back this late, she’ll hit me with a rolling pin.
Yu Guiyao felt like crying as she explained: “My grandmother loves you. If she finds out you’re at our house, her loud voice will keep the whole neighborhood awake tonight!”
“Oh~” Fu Wenchen got off the scooter and looked around curiously. She really wanted to know what kind of life the other had lived for the past seven years—why she disappeared, why she lost her memory, and who saved her.
Amidst her doubts, she realized Yu Guiyao’s home was a small, two-story dark-colored building. It occupied a small area with a high-walled vegetable garden in front.
Yu Guiyao parked the scooter and took off Fu Wenchen’s helmet, whispering as she approached: “There are no lights outside our house. Be careful not to trip…”
Just as she turned on her phone’s flashlight and took a step, Fu Wenchen suddenly stumbled into her arms, whispering: “My legs still have no strength… I tripped on a stone…”
“Sorry.” Yu Guiyao quickly supported her, feeling a bit sheepish. “Should I carry you in then?”
“Okay~” Fu Wenchen wrapped her arms around the girl’s neck quite naturally and leaned into her chest, softly inhaling her scent with an alluring gaze.
Yu Guiyao’s face turned bright red. The woman’s body was very soft, constantly pressing against her, bringing with it a faint, cool fragrance. But she believed the other meant nothing by it—it was just weak legs—so she quickly picked her up in a princess carry. Guided by the phone light, she walked carefully and carried her all the way into the house.
The elderly woman inside heard the noise and woke up quickly, asking: “Yaoyao? Why are you back so late?”
“Oh, I went to the set to play a small extra role. Just got off work.”
“Staying out this late without calling? Do you know how worried I was!”
The grandmother came out with a rolling pin, intending to give her granddaughter a light scare, but she stopped when she saw her holding a woman, sneakily heading upstairs.
The light was suddenly flicked on. Eyes met, and Yu Guiyao laughed awkwardly: “Hahaha, a friend! She sprained her ankle and had nowhere to go, so she’s staying for a few nights…”
Fu Wenchen immediately looked up and smiled at the elder: “Hello, Grandmother~”
But since she was wearing sunglasses and a mask, the grandmother was confused. She felt the woman looked familiar but remained very hospitable: “A friend! Friends are good~ It’s rare for our Yaoyao to bring a friend home.”
As she spoke, she put down the rolling pin to pour some water.
Yu Guiyao quickly stopped her: “Grandmother, go back to sleep. I’ll take care of her; she’s shy…”
“Alright, alright.” The grandmother returned to her room, adding: “The shower head seems to be leaking. Check it later so it’s not inconvenient for your friend to wash up.”
“Got it~” Yu Guiyao carried the woman upstairs, asking: “I forgot you don’t have a change of clothes. Should I buy some for you tomorrow before you wash?”
“Sorry for the poor hospitality, please don’t mind.”
Twenty thousand yuan could buy a stay in a very nice place, but their house was so small, so she felt she had to provide good service. Placing Fu Wenchen on her own bed, she hurried to get her water.
Fu Wenchen carefully observed the room. It was a small attic with a familiar layout—it felt like she had dreamed back to that night in the attic…
She took off her sunglasses and mask, smiled, and took the water. “It’s fine, your home is very nice. To be honest, I don’t want to stay in those hotels anymore; there are always paparazzi following.”
“But I must shower tonight. If it’s not okay, can I wear your clothes?” she added. “I’ll feel terrible if I don’t wash…”
She’s so down-to-earth!
Yu Guiyao’s view of her changed. She realized Fu Wenchen wasn’t just beautiful; she had a great personality—nothing like the cold image she projected, but very gentle instead.
She immediately opened her wardrobe to let her choose, and even brought out her own new underwear, saying: “As long as you don’t mind, you can wear anything.”
Just as she finished, Fu Wenchen pointed to a piece in the corner. “I want to wear that.”
“The… the bikini?”
“I’ve worn that one…” Yu Guiyao felt very embarrassed.
But Fu Wenchen said: “It’s fine, I don’t mind. Besides, didn’t you say you’d try to massage me? It’s more convenient to wear this.”
Oh, right.
Thinking of the ten thousand yuan for the massage, and the fact that the customer is always right, Yu Guiyao agreed. She took down the bikini along with a bath towel and asked:
“Do you have the strength to shower now?”
“It’s fine, I can manage…”
Seeing her nod, Yu Guiyao prepared a toothbrush and towel and led her down. She checked the shower head and, seeing no issues, stepped out to let her wash first.
” I’ll go change the sheets and bedding, then I’ll wait for you.” She called out through the door. “Do you need anything else? I’ve got everything ready.”
“No, don’t leave. I’m a bit scared alone…” Fu Wenchen’s voice drifted out softly, enough to make one’s body melt.
Yu Guiyao leaned against the door and replied: “Okay, I won’t leave.”
She touched her reddened ears. Hearing the sound of the shower inside, her ears grew even hotter. She comforted herself: Who doesn’t like Fu Wenchen? She’s so beautiful; it’s normal for my heart to race. Plus, I like women… but I must not cross the line. She’s a Movie Queen and she has someone she loves…
Inside the bathroom, Fu Wenchen, who was applying body wash, heard this inner thought and smiled softly. She looked at herself in the mirror—flushed cheeks, soaked dark hair, and snowy white skin below. Sniffing the familiar scent in the air, her eyes were filled with uncontrollable desire and madness.
Soon, Yu Guiyao heard a scream from the bathroom.
“What’s wrong?!” In her panic, she pushed the door open, realizing it wasn’t locked. From inside came the sound of a woman nearly in tears: “Quick, come in!”
Hearing that voice, she forgot everything else and rushed in, only to be greeted by a sight of pure, snowy white.
