The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 36
Chapter 36
“I’m getting married to my girlfriend soon~”
Facing her confusion, Fu Wenchen’s lips curled slightly. Her eyes were full of longing, as if overflowing with love. Her eyes were curved like crescents, those peach-blossom eyes shimmering brilliantly; the happy smile on her face was simply impossible to look away from.
But these words were like a heavy bomb that instantly terrified Yu Guiyao.
Wait, we’re getting married? Why didn’t I know about this?!
Then, Fu Wenchen’s words answered her silent question: “Although she hasn’t agreed yet, I will propose to her until she says yes.”
“This is the first time I truly understand what love is. I will stay with her forever…”
These words were nothing short of a sincere confession. Yu Guiyao’s heart couldn’t stop thumping, and her ears turned scarlet.
With the other’s support, she lay back down on the bed. Fu Wenchen poured her a glass of water for the night and prepared to leave the room, getting ready to turn off the light. “Sister, you’ll give me your blessing, won’t you?”
“I won’t pester you anymore. I was wrong before, mistaking family affection for romance. After all, since we were little, you were the one who loved and protected me in place of our parents…”
Her words were incredibly poignant. The main room lights went out, leaving only a small bedside lamp—one Fu Wenchen had specifically left on so Yu wouldn’t struggle to find her water in the dark.
Yu Guiyao leaned against the headboard. For some reason, affected by the dim, yellow light, her throat felt tight. she managed a low response: “Mhm. She is very lucky to be loved by you…”
In this moment, she was truly moved. She felt a deep ache for Fu Wenchen; after all, the real sister—the only one who truly loved her—was either dead or lost, her body occupied by an outsider like herself.
She looked toward the door. Fu Wenchen stood there in a different silk nightgown. Perhaps because of the conversation, her eyes were misty, yet she was still smiling. “Don’t worry,” Wenchen said. “She treats me very well. So well that I’m afraid of losing her…”
“Just like how I felt watching you in a coma for seven years, powerless to help…”
Hearing this, Yu Guiyao felt a pang of bitterness. She wanted to say more, but the other stepped out, adding: “Don’t worry about me, Sister. Worry about yourself. I heard Mom has already scouted several young, talented men for you. She’ll bring them for a matchmaking meeting soon. Once things are settled, you can get married.”
“I’ll be at peace knowing someone is there to take care of and protect you forever…”
What?! Blind dates?
She thought Mother Fu had just been talking earlier. In her current state, how could she go on a blind date, let alone get married! Yu Guiyao quickly called out to Fu Wenchen before she could close the door: “I’m not getting married! And no blind dates…”
After a pause, she explained: “I mean… tell Mom that with my current physical condition, I can’t do blind dates.” She looked around and realized she didn’t have a phone, so she had to rely on Fu Wenchen to relay the message.
Fu Wenchen, her back to Yu, smiled subtly. her eyes were deep, hiding something. “Then tell Mom yourself, Sister. If I say it, she’ll be furious.”
When she turned around, her eyes were already red. She walked back in and handed her phone to Yu Guiyao. Knowing how difficult things were for Wenchen, Yu Guiyao felt soft-hearted. She took the phone and dialed.
As soon as the call connected, Mother Fu’s cold voice came through: “What are you doing now? If something happened to Qingdu, I won’t let you off!”
Yu Guiyao: “…” “Mom…” she called out softly.
Hearing her voice, Mother Fu became incredibly excited, her tone softening instantly: “Qingdu! Wait, Mom is coming over to see you!”
“No,” Yu Guiyao refused quickly. “It’s too late. Don’t come over.”
“Right, your health is poor. Mom won’t disturb you…” Mother Fu’s voice was choked with emotion, clearly pained for her daughter. But Yu Guiyao had to get to the point: “Mom, Wenchen said you’re arranging blind dates for me?”
“You know my condition. Don’t waste those people’s time. I don’t want a blind date, and I don’t want to get married…”
Before she could finish, Mother Fu got agitated: “Did Fu Wenchen say something to you? Qingdu, you don’t remember many things. Don’t be deceived by her. She is full of lies and will stop at nothing to get what she wants!”
Yu Guiyao felt Mother Fu’s prejudice against Wenchen was far too extreme. She frowned and replied: “It’s not because of what she said. I truly don’t want to go.”
Thinking quickly, she added: “Because I… I like girls…”
There was a loud crash on the other end of the line. Mother Fu seemed so shocked she had dropped a cup. Even Fu Wenchen, standing nearby, was stunned; she clearly hadn’t expected her to say that.
“Sister…” “Qingdu, you…” Mother Fu’s raspy voice interrupted Wenchen, followed by a sob: “You’re so confused!”
“Mom, this can’t be changed. So please, don’t arrange any more dates for me.” Yu Guiyao didn’t want to do this, but she felt this was the only way to stop the matchmaking.
However, after a long silence, Mother Fu compromised: “Fine. Mom will find you a girl then, okay? As long as she’s good to you and you like her, Mom will accept it! Next time you’re awake, I’ll bring a few obedient girls over.”
Yu Guiyao: “!!!” Even that works?!
She was shocked. Beside her, Fu Wenchen bit her lip, her gaze dark, nails digging into her palms. In Mother Fu’s eyes, even if Fu Qingdu liked girls, as long as it wasn’t her, it could be anyone.
Yu Guiyao sighed and scrambled for another excuse: “No need, Mom. I already have someone I like.”
She swore she was just speaking too fast. Mother Fu immediately pounced on the loophole: “How is that possible?! You just woke up after seven years in a coma. Where did you find someone to like? Don’t tell me you like…”
Mother Fu couldn’t bring herself to say the name, but the thought was devastating. Yu Guiyao glanced at Fu Wenchen and denied it: “No, what are you thinking? The person I like is someone I met by chance seven years ago. Don’t worry about it. Just don’t arrange dates and bother other people.”
She was making it up on the fly. Mother Fu, crying, insisted on getting to the bottom of it: “No! If you don’t give me a name today, I won’t give up. Or Mom will help you find her…”
In her panic, Yu Guiyao blurted out: “Her name is Yu Guiyao. I’ve told you the name, now leave it alone, or I won’t be able to sleep well…”
As she spoke, she began to cough. Mother Fu was instantly worried and lost the heart to keep questioning. A while later, the call finally ended. Yu Guiyao breathed a sigh of relief, only to meet Fu Wenchen’s look of pure disbelief.
“Yu Guiyao? The person you like is called Yu Guiyao?”
Cold sweat broke out on Yu Guiyao’s back. I really have a big mouth. She tried to fix it: “I just said that to avoid the dates. As for the person, I do know her, but it was just a brief encounter seven years ago…”
“Mhm. I understand.” Unexpectedly, Fu Wenchen seemed to believe her nonsense. She gently helped Yu lie down. “Rest, Sister. Mom probably won’t make you go on dates anymore.”
If only. Yu Guiyao lay there and watched Wenchen tuck her in before closing her eyes. She heard the door close and assumed Wenchen had left.
But as she drifted into a daze, she felt a warm kiss on her lips. A soft, lingering voice seemed to whisper in her ear: “Sister, you’re so cute…”
Yu Guiyao: “!!!”
She snapped awake. The room was pitch black; there was no bedside lamp. She realized she had transmigrated back.
In her arms lay a soft woman, her hands tightly clutching Yu’s waist, her face buried in her chest. A cold fragrance wafted over. Sensing Yu was awake, Fu Wenchen rubbed against her chest and asked sleepily: “What is it, Yao Yao? Did you have a nightmare?”
Yeah, probably just a dream… Yu Guiyao couldn’t believe she’d dream about something like that. Or was she jealous? Afraid that Fu Wenchen still liked Fu Qingdu? It was crazy.
She closed her eyes and stroked the woman’s hair. “It’s nothing. Go back to sleep…”
“No, you must have had a nightmare~” Fu Wenchen was worried. She lifted her head and fumbled in the dark to kiss her. She found her chin, then the corner of her mouth, and finally her lips. “If I kiss you, the nightmares won’t come back…”
Yu Guiyao found it funny and hugged her back tightly. The woman’s waist was slender in her arm. Although she was smiling, she couldn’t help but kiss back. They pecked at each other’s lips until it turned into gentle suction.
Their hot breaths mingled, their soft lips moving against each other. The sounds of wet kisses filled the quiet air. Though lying on their sides, Fu Wenchen hooked a leg over Yu’s waist. Yu Guiyao squeezed her leg between Wenchen’s. Their limbs entangled, and the kiss deepened.
Their wet tongues met at the same time, searching for each other. At the moment of contact, the heat and moisture sent a tingle through their bodies. Breathing heavily, eyes closed, they licked each other’s tongues by feel alone. Fu Wenchen’s tongue was slippery and soft, easily pushed back into her mouth by Yu Guiyao.
Yu Guiyao swept through her mouth, their tongues swirling together. The friction created waves of pleasure. They sucked on each other’s lips, swallowing the sweetness.
Yu Guiyao supported the back of her neck. She didn’t even notice when the gauze on her palm fell off. She was too focused on sucking the soft lips and swirling with the pink tongue. Fu Wenchen parted her lips and let her drink her fill, her cheeks flushed, her hands eventually finding their way to Yu’s neck.
She was completely soft in Yu’s embrace. Tears slid from the corners of her eyes as she vented her secret thoughts in her heart.
Sister, I love you so much…
No one knew that the woman holding her had long, slightly wavy hair. Her gentle eyes were closed as she kissed her frantically. The soft tongue swirled in her mouth, making her own tongue numb. Their hot breaths mingled, their heartbeats seemingly overlapping. They were burning up, rubbing against each other.
Fu Wenchen desperately wanted to call her “Sister,” but she was afraid of being discovered. After all, she had taken off Yu’s towel while she was asleep, changed her clothes, and even stolen a kiss. Yu’s sudden awakening had ruined her plan, so she had to play along and let Yu think she had just returned to her own body…
Taking advantage of the darkness, Fu Wenchen grew bolder. Gasping, she rubbed frantically in Yu’s embrace. Her “wound” was so itchy, and transparent fluid was surging out.
Yu Guiyao kept kissing her. The numbing sensation spread to her limbs. She was addicted, constantly sucking on those lips. Until Fu Wenchen let out a low moan: “The wound is so itchy… it’s so uncomfortable…” Her eyes were full of tears.
Seeing the shimmer of tears in the dark, Yu Guiyao immediately felt regret. She let go of her lips, but Fu Wenchen, panting, kissed her again. “You started it, you have to take responsibility~”
“Also, you forgot to give me my massage tonight.”
Oh, right. Yu Guiyao remembered. She had been so focused on getting into bed that she forgot to help her with her muscle strain. In that case, a massage was perfect. Maybe if it hurt, the other would forget about that “itchy” feeling…
