The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 33
Chapter 33
Was it really Gu Ruoqin?!
In this moment, Mother Fu felt as if she were looking at an eighteen-year-old Gu Ruoqin: exceptionally beautiful, with those clear, bright fox-like eyes.
The woman before them looked identical to the Gu Ruoqin of that time, though slightly more mature, with a faint scar on her forehead. Could there really be people in this world who looked so much alike? Or was it possible that the online rumors and Fu Wenchen’s claims were true—that the Gu family had actually pulled off a “cat-and-prince” switch?
Mother Fu was too shocked to speak.
Seeing them look so dazed, Yu Guiyao couldn’t help but wonder. Do I really look that much like her? Is it really that exaggerated?
While thinking, she took the groceries from the delivery guy and smiled at the couple. “Uncle, Auntie, Wenchen is still sleeping. Why don’t you come in and sit for a while…”
Hearing this, Mother Fu immediately frowned, her internal suspicions fading. She reminded herself that Gu Ruoqin’s death was officially certified—how could a switch have happened? This woman was acting so distant and unfamiliar, her eyes too clear, as if she were meeting them for the first time. This behavior clearly wasn’t Gu Ruoqin; she just looked like her.
If she really were Gu Ruoqin, she would have returned to the Gu family long ago. Why would she need Fu Wenchen to stand up for her? In today’s society, plastic surgery to look like someone else wasn’t difficult. Didn’t the real Gu Ruoqin have surgery abroad as well?
At this thought, Mother Fu’s hands began to shake with anger. She pushed past Yu Guiyao and rushed into the house, shouting:
“I told you to get engaged to Gu Ruoqin, and instead, you’ve caused this massive mess!”
“Do you have any idea how much public backlash this is causing online? If you lose this bet and the Gu family finds out you’re using a substitute to play with them, you’re finished! The company will be devastated!”
Yu Guiyao was stunned. She turned around quickly and saw Fu Wenchen stepping out of her room, slowly descending the spiral staircase. She was wearing silk pajamas, her long hair draped over her shoulders. Her expression was languid, as if she hadn’t fully woken up, her eyes still misty.
Because of the discomfort from her “injury,” she walked slowly, yet she appeared elegant and poised. Her skin was snow-white, and her red lips were as vivid as blood, looking as if she had applied a layer of rose-colored lipstick. Only Yu Guiyao knew that the vibrancy was because they had kissed so many times; despite her gentleness, the continuous suction had left the lips slightly swollen.
Yu Guiyao’s cheeks burned as she looked at her.
Mother Fu stared at the calm Fu Wenchen and snapped, “Are you doing this on purpose?! Just because we disapproved of you and Qingdu? Just because we wanted you to marry the real Gu Ruoqin? Now you find someone identical to play with and make it public knowledge.”
“Qingdu has amnesia—are you trying to provoke her with this?”
“Or has this substitute cast a spell on you?!”
Her voice grew more agitated: “I’m telling you, this trick won’t work. You’ll only end up losing face. Everyone will know that Best Actress Fu Wenchen found a substitute girlfriend and told a web of lies to try and drag down the real successor.”
Yu Guiyao: “???” I cast a spell on her? She could hardly listen to this nonsense.
To her surprise, Fu Wenchen merely curled her lips into a slight smile. “There’s no need for you to worry. Do you really think I’m so stupid that I’d do something against my own interests?”
“By the way, has Sister been brought over yet?”
This single sentence instantly silenced Mother Fu, whose eyes turned red with rage. If she hadn’t been forced, she would never have brought her daughter here. Knowing Fu Wenchen’s “special” intentions toward Qingdu, she still had to hand her daughter over. She knew how crazy Fu Wenchen could be; if she didn’t get what she wanted, things would only get worse.
Like a few years ago, when they tried to stop her from taking Qingdu away, the entire Fu Corporation suffered a devastating blow, and most of the shares ended up in Wenchen’s hands. Fu Wenchen was a lunatic, an ungrateful wolf!
But Mother Fu never expected her to be so depraved as to find a Gu Ruoqin substitute. It was shameless! Mother Fu felt like she was going to faint from anger.
However, she thought, maybe this was for the best. Perhaps this woman would distract her from Qingdu. A seductive substitute was better than a bedridden invalid. In a few days, when Fu Wenchen got bored, she could take her daughter back.
Finally, Mother Fu compromised. She walked over, grabbed Yu Guiyao’s hand, and put on a friendly face: “Regardless of whether you are Ruoqin or not, I agree to your relationship with Wenchen. It would be best to hold the wedding now. I hope you two will be happy forever…”
Please stay locked together and stay away from my daughter!
Mother Fu’s smile made a chill run down Yu Guiyao’s spine. She couldn’t understand the sudden shift in attitude.
“???” She was just scolding her a second ago…
Nevertheless, Yu Guiyao managed a smile and nodded. “Thank you, Auntie.”
Mother Fu, still uneasy, leaned in and whispered: “Fu Wenchen has assets worth over ten billion. I don’t care what your current relationship is, but I hope you use every trick in the book to tie her down. After marriage, not only will you get half her money, but I’ll also give you a huge red envelope…”
“Please, work hard.”
Mother Fu patted her shoulder, thinking that as long as this “disaster” of a daughter-in-law was taken away, she didn’t care if she was a substitute or not.
Yu Guiyao was dumbstruck. Assets worth over ten billion?!
She had to admit, her heart skipped a beat. She had always thought Fu Wenchen’s fame as an actress was impressive enough, but she was also a hidden billionaire. While she stood there in a daze, Mother Fu and Mr. Fu went outside, presumably to bring Fu Qingdu in from the medical van.
…
The door closed. Fu Wenchen suddenly appeared in front of her, wrapping her arms around Yu Guiyao’s neck and pressing her body into her embrace. She smiled: “What are you thinking about? Me?”
“N-no.” Yu Guiyao felt guilty because her mind was currently full of thoughts about how marrying the woman would save her decades of hard work.
Her ears turned red. Fu Wenchen’s gaze darkened as she leaned in to kiss her. “It’s okay, you know~”
“Huh? What is?”
Their lips met, breaths mingling. Fu Wenchen pecked at her lips gently, causing both their bodies to heat up. Yu Guiyao’s brain stalled, not understanding what she meant by “it’s okay,” but hearing footsteps outside, she quickly gripped the woman’s shoulders to push her away. “It’s not good if your parents see us…”
“What’s wrong with it? They already saw the hickey on your neck~”
Fu Wenchen gently touched the “strawberry mark” on Yu Guiyao’s throat as if it were a prized masterpiece. She sucked on her lips again, the sound of wet kisses filling the space. Their lips were soft and slick, sending a faint numbness through them. Fu Wenchen even let her tongue dart out to lick her gently.
That pink, soft tongue made Yu Guiyao want to entangle her own and deepen the kiss, drinking in the sweetness. But she blushed and turned her head away. “H-hickey? When did that happen?”
Seeing her looking at the door so nervously, Fu Wenchen’s eyes welled with mist. She hugged her neck, acting aggrieved: “It’s only been a short while and you’ve already forgotten? No, you have to compensate me. My legs are soft, I need a kiss…”
Her arms were tight around her, her cold fragrance intoxicating. Hearing the sound of someone opening the door outside, Yu Guiyao’s heart skipped. Associating the “soft legs” with the situation, she instinctively grabbed Fu Wenchen’s hips and scooped her up. Holding the groceries in one hand and the woman in the other, she dashed into the kitchen.
Fu Wenchen was startled, her legs instinctively wrapping around Yu Guiyao’s waist while her hands clung to her back. Her heart raced as she felt the sensation of being held by her hips.
The next second, Yu Guiyao shut the kitchen door. She sighed in relief and tried to set her down. But Fu Wenchen tightened her legs, refusing to get down, and leaned in to kiss her while whispering: “Kiss me…”
“You…” Yu Guiyao didn’t know what to do with her. There were people outside—the medical team bringing her sister in—and yet she was only thinking about kissing?
She wanted to refuse, but looking into Fu Wenchen’s eyes, she saw they were filled with tears, like silver threads wrapping around her heart. “Please? Just for a little bit…”
The woman acted spoiled, her slender legs tightly wound around Yu Guiyao’s waist, her body swaying gently in the embrace. She even tilted her head to rub her lips against Yu Guiyao’s. As their hot breaths mingled, Yu Guiyao felt like she was losing her mind.
The two bags of groceries thudded to the floor. She spun around and pinned the woman against the door. Fortunately, it wasn’t a glass door, so she could hide behind it and kiss her frantically.
She held the woman’s hips with one hand and her neck with the other, pressing her against the door and kissing her back fiercely. In that instant, Fu Wenchen clung to her, enveloped by her faint scent, her body going weak.
They tilted their heads, constantly shifting angles to suck on each other’s lips. The air was filled with the sound of wet suction. Their soft lips felt like sweet marshmallows. Their tongues darted out, licking each other gently. They watched each other, their cheeks flushed, witnessing their tongues touching and tasting.
A wave of numbness shot from her tongue to her spine. Yu Guiyao suddenly pushed the woman’s soft tongue back into her mouth and kissed deeper, her tongue sweeping wildly through and swirling against the other’s pink tongue.
Fu Wenchen’s tongue was soft and slender. As they tangled, they secreted sweet nectar that Yu Guiyao drank in. They didn’t stop for a second, their tongues flickering and swirling. A silver thread slid from the corner of Fu Wenchen’s mouth; she looked like she couldn’t breathe, her chest heaving.
Yu Guiyao finally pulled back slightly to let her catch her breath. But seeing the woman’s mouth slightly parted, her face flushed and her lips glistening with the moisture from the kiss, she couldn’t help but lean in again.
Suddenly, Mother Fu’s voice came from the living room: “Where are they? Where did everyone go?”
Fu Wenchen shivered, gripping Yu Guiyao’s bathrobe. Her eyes were full of a frantic obsession as she tangled her tongue with the other’s again. The sounds of suction were loud, their breathing becoming more hurried. Every time their wet tongues swirled together, a jolt of electricity followed.
Fu Wenchen felt like she was burning with a fever. The slightly swollen “lips” of her injury were parted, and transparent fluid seeped out, soaking through her clothes. She pressed her legs together and rubbed against the woman’s embrace, trying to ease the itch.
Yu Guiyao, having regained some sanity, slowly pulled away and said softly, “Later. Your aunt is calling us.”
A silver thread stretched between them. Though dissatisfied, Fu Wenchen obediently pecked her lips and stopped pestering her. Yu Guiyao had said “later,” which meant there would be more kissing…
Her eyes were full of smiles. Her heart wouldn’t slow down. She clung to Yu Guiyao’s neck, panting softly, “Don’t you dare go back on your word later~”
“Mhm.” Yu Guiyao blushed and lowered her to the ground. She noted that while the woman claimed her legs were “soft,” she had certainly held onto her waist very tightly. She shouted toward the door: “Wait a moment, Auntie! I’m cooking, I’ll be right out.”
After a moment to compose themselves, they walked out. Mother Fu was standing outside one of the rooms and said to Fu Wenchen: “You know she has amnesia. I hope you don’t provoke her. If you agree to this condition, I will help you deal with the Gu family. You’ve caused a huge mess; to quiet the rumors, the Gu family will definitely take action tomorrow. I can put in a good word to minimize the impact on you…”
Hearing this, Fu Wenchen laughed softly. “No need.”
Mother Fu was about to flare up, but then Wenchen added: “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to Sister. I only see her as a sister now. I have a girlfriend~”
As if! If she only saw her as a sister, why force them to bring her here? Three people under one roof—who knew what she planned to do? The more Mother Fu thought about it, the more her heart ached, but she was powerless. Finally, she left with her husband.
Before they stepped out, Fu Wenchen pretended to be considerate: “Mom, Dad, why not stay for dinner?” Mother Fu’s face was dark; if she stayed any longer, she felt she would explode. She left faster than she could run.
Watching this, Yu Guiyao felt a bit uneasy. Fu’s parents clearly adored Fu Qingdu to the bone but held such a deep prejudice against Fu Wenchen. It seemed Wenchen hadn’t received much parental love growing up… She felt pity for her and closed the door.
But the moment the door shut, Fu Wenchen pounced into her arms again. She blinked, looking aggrieved: “I’m serious, I don’t like Sister anymore, I only like you. But my parents have things to do, so Sister has to stay here for a while. Don’t be unhappy.”
“Why would I be unhappy?” Yu Guiyao felt guilty. After all, she didn’t know if the sister was truly “alive” in spirit, but she herself would enter that body every time she slept…
And Fu Wenchen was too good; despite how Mother Fu treated her, she still smiled and was willing to help care for Fu Qingdu. Yu Guiyao sighed and gently stroked her hair to comfort her.
Fu Wenchen circled her neck and whispered, “Now that they’re gone… didn’t you say we’d kiss ‘later’?”
Yu Guiyao’s hand froze on her head. “…”
“My mouth hurts. Can we rest for a bit?” It took her several seconds to come up with that excuse.
To her surprise, Fu Wenchen frowned and stared at her lips. Her lip had indeed been bitten earlier, so it did hurt.
“Fine then.” Fu Wenchen, being understanding, let her off. But then she suddenly said something shocking:
“Then we won’t kiss on the mouth. Let’s kiss… somewhere else~”
Yu Guiyao was terrified: “!!!”
