The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 28
Chapter 28
“Bring another towel.”
Fu Wenchen stared at her while wetting the towel in her hand, subsequently wiping down the sticky areas. It wasn’t that she didn’t want Yu Guiyao to help her wipe—wearing gloves would have been fine—but as noon approached, she feared that if she continued to cling to her, she wouldn’t be able to control her sensations and things would go on endlessly.
She still had to take Yu Guiyao to choose a formal gown later and personally meet those people…
Thinking of them, her eyes flashed with mockery. She frowned, wiping her legs vigorously while calling out, “Siss~ it’s so cold!”
“That’s not how you wipe.”
Yu Guiyao, having brought a fresh towel, saw her jamming the wet cloth against the sensitive area and quickly snatched it away. She whispered, “Be gentler…”
She had never seen someone treat themselves like this. It was clearly painful and swollen, yet she wiped so hard, not even wringing the water out. To press freezing stream water directly against the skin—of course it would be cold.
Frowning, Yu Guiyao knelt beside her, still wearing her gloves.
When Fu Wenchen looked down at her and heard her inner concern, her eyes instinctively reddened. She cooed, “Then… you help me?”
Her eyes seemed clearer and more beautiful than the shimmering stream, but the teardrop mole at the corner of her eye gave her a post-intimacy languor. Her red lips were slightly swollen, making them look even more beautiful, inviting one to keep kissing…
Yu Guiyao lowered her head immediately. Without hesitation, she parted the woman’s legs, soaked the towel, wrung it out, and wiped gently.
At this point, even if Fu Wenchen wanted to regret it, she couldn’t. She watched the woman tenderly cleaning her, eyes focused and seemingly free of stray thoughts, though her ears were burning deep red.
Fu Wenchen stared at those ears, her lips curling into a smile. Suddenly feeling the numbing sensation of the towel passing over her skin, her whole body shuddered. A few droplets slid down, soaking into the towel. Yu Guiyao didn’t notice; she simply finished cleaning, rose slightly, and reached out to scoop the woman up by the waist.
She intended to let Fu Wenchen stand on the rocks, but the woman was unexpectedly weak. Clinging to Yu Guiyao’s neck, she murmured softly, “No strength…”
Her waist was so slender it could be spanned by a single hand. Held in Yu Guiyao’s arms, she seemed to tremble slightly, but her legs suddenly lifted, wrapping tightly around the woman’s waist, hanging on her like she had no bones.
Hot breath fanned against her ear, and Yu Guiyao’s face flushed instantly. No strength? Her legs seem strong enough to squeeze this tight. Despite the thought, she indulged her, using her other hand to reach around with the towel to dry the water on the woman’s back.
As she wiped, Fu Wenchen clung to her neck, her body trembling. She didn’t understand why she was so sensitive—it was just a towel on skin. Or perhaps it was because it was her holding her, helping her. They were engaged in one of the most intimate acts in the world…
Her mood was incredibly joyful. Even with her body feeling limp, she wrapped herself tightly around the other woman, unable to resist nuzzling her nose against the hair at Yu Guiyao’s temple to catch her scent.
She was like a little kitten. Yu Guiyao’s throat bobbed unconsciously as she watched her nuzzle her hair. A smile touched her eyes as she asked, “Where are your underwear and pajama pants? I didn’t see them.”
“That…” Fu Wenchen’s body stiffened. She slowly pointed behind the large tree. “I threw them over there…”
Yu Guiyao: “…”
She didn’t know what to say, but Fu Wenchen shook her neck slightly and said coaxingly, “I did it for your own good, so you wouldn’t have to take them off.”
What a “good” reason. A smile flickered in Yu Guiyao’s eyes. Without a word, she carried her behind the tree, picked up the clothes hanging on the branches, and then carried her into the stone cave.
“Wow.”
The moment they entered, Fu Wenchen couldn’t help but gasp in awe. She had already been stunned by the scenery outside while sitting on the swing, but she hadn’t expected the cave to hold such a hidden paradise. Or perhaps, it was only in front of this woman that she showed a touch of childlike wonder and revealed her true feelings. She stared at the interior of the cave, mesmerized.
The front half of the dark cave was illuminated by sunlight. The walls were embedded with various beautiful minerals, multi-colored and refracting light throughout the space. A small stream meandered out from within. Beside the stream, the floor was paved with blue stone bricks. There was even a stone bed covered with bedding and red curtains hanging from vines at the top, looking like an ancient, quiet wedding bed.
Seeing her stare at the bed, Yu Guiyao quickly explained, “I sometimes come here to rest. There are many mosquitoes in the summer, so I set up a net…”
Fu Wenchen barely heard her. Her attention was entirely captured by the light in the depths of the cave. The back half was filled with lush vines hanging from the ceiling, and hidden among the leaves were tiny specks of light. Gathered together, they looked like a brilliant galaxy. Even though she guessed what they were, she couldn’t help but want to see them up close. She looked down at the woman and smiled. “Will you take me to see?”
“There are snakes~” Yu Guiyao teased.
Fu Wenchen’s body jerked in fright. “What?”
“Then I’m not going… I’m most afraid of soft-bodied creatures…” She clung to Yu Guiyao’s neck, frowning in a way that inspired pity.
But Yu Guiyao was confused. Huh? In the virtual scenes she had seen from the System, when Fu Wenchen was dismembering bodies, she clearly kept many snakes and insects in her basement. She remembered a frame where a green snake was wrapped around her neck, its head resting lazily on her shoulder, flicking its tongue, while a centipede crawled on her sleeve. Her eyes had been icy, her silver-rimmed glasses reflecting a ghostly light, a mocking smile on her lips as her knife slowly sliced through the carotid artery of the person on the table…
Now she doubted if the person the System showed her and this Fu Wenchen were even the same person. This Fu Wenchen was so good—a genuinely kind person who was terrified of soft-bodied creatures. Or perhaps she only became like that after completely “blackening”?
Yu Guiyao felt apprehensive; she decided she must reform her and not let her become a psychopathic killer…
She’s a psychopath? Hearing this inner thought, Fu Wenchen leaned lazily against her shoulder and let out a faint, amused smile. If I kill someone, it’s because they have a reason they must die. That’s why I make them suffer in agony and fear. As for the snakes and centipedes…
She quickly changed her expression, eyes brimming with tears, and said with a trembling voice, “I’m so scared of those things, don’t scare me…”
“I won’t scare you anymore. It’s okay, I’ve used repellent; there are no such things here.” Seeing her on the verge of tears, Yu Guiyao immediately regretted her teasing. She leaned down and placed her on the stone bed, comforting her: “Let’s apply some medicine, then you can put your pants on, and we’ll go look.”
As she spoke, she moved to go outside for the medicine, but Fu Wenchen wouldn’t let go of her neck. She drew closer, tears in her eyes, and said softly, “Kiss me first, I’m still a little scared…”
Yu Guiyao, thinking it was her own fault, quickly leaned in to kiss her. Their soft lips pressed together, hot breaths intermingling. It was meant to be a gentle kiss, but Fu Wenchen closed her eyes, slowly sucking on her lips and even parting them to lure her with the tip of her tongue. That pink, tender tongue… having tasted it before, Yu Guiyao didn’t hesitate to deepen the kiss, pushing her tongue into the other’s mouth to entwine with her.
She intended for it to be brief, but Fu Wenchen tilted her head back, actively moving her tongue to tangle with hers. The taste in her mouth grew sweeter; Yu Guiyao swirled her tongue and sucked on her saliva as if addicted, her tongue sweeping through the other’s mouth frantically. For some reason, the woman’s wet, soft tongue felt different from her own—softer, sweeter. As their tongues rubbed against each other, waves of numbness hit them. Their cheeks were flushed, their lips inseparable as the kiss became long and deep, their heartbeats growing louder.
Finally, Fu Wenchen’s face turned scarlet. She pushed her away and gasped, “Go… go get the medicine, or else I…”
The rest of the sentence didn’t need to be said for Yu Guiyao to feel embarrassed. She nodded quickly and turned to head outside to calm her breathing. On the bed, Fu Wenchen cursed her own lack of self-control. She looked down at the dark patch on the light-blue sheet, unsure how to hide it. She had to support herself on shaky legs to get a tissue from the bedside and wipe away the transparent fluid before it could drip further.
Yu Guiyao returned quickly, but Fu Wenchen hurriedly ducked under the covers. She whispered, “Let’s wait a bit before applying the medicine…”
“No, ‘waiting a bit’ is for later. It needs to be applied three times a day, and the last time didn’t really count.” Yu Guiyao, blushing, saw the woman’s jade-like feet sticking out from the blanket. She grabbed her ankle and pulled her down. “Don’t delay; delaying isn’t good.”
“No, I don’t want to right now…” Fu Wenchen tugged at the blanket, but she was still pulled down.
This was the first time Yu Guiyao had shown such a firm attitude. Her strength was immense; just being gripped by the ankle and pulled down made Fu Wenchen’s mind wander, imagining the woman forcing her or treating her roughly… As she thought, her body went limp, and the blanket was suddenly pulled away.
Yu Guiyao saw that the area was still swollen. She pulled out a different ointment from the bag, squeezed it onto a cotton swab, and carefully applied it. She wanted to finish this quickly—she was the one who caused it, so she had to take responsibility. Fu Wenchen gripped the blanket tightly and compromised. A cotton swab was better than a hand; she didn’t have such a strong reaction. She opened her legs slightly to make it easier for the medicine to be applied and asked, “What is this?”
But the swab kept poking here and there, especially touching that “little tomato” red bud. Yu Guiyao asked with red ears, “It’s an anti-inflammatory ointment. Does it need to be applied here too?” She really hadn’t expected that part to be so swollen as well; it shouldn’t have been touched.
She stared unconsciously, and a string of transparent fluid suddenly trickled out, much like a person sweating. It was clearly an involuntary secretion. In that moment, Fu Wenchen quickly covered it with her hand, blushing. She grabbed Yu Guiyao’s collar, tears in her eyes, and said softly, “It’s swollen because it was rubbed!”
“If you don’t want to do it with me right now, don’t look at it like that… I feel very uncomfortable.” She frowned. As Yu Guiyao met her eyes, the heat reached her neck. She quickly looked away and handed the pants to her. “You… you put these on first.”
“I won’t~” Fu Wenchen hugged her neck again, teasing her. “You help me?”
Yu Guiyao compromised once more. She bent over to hold the underwear, and Fu Wenchen naturally extended her feet. Then, Yu Guiyao just had to hold her waist and pull them up. As her face flushed, the woman whispered in her ear, “If my legs weren’t so weak that I couldn’t stand, I wouldn’t trouble you…”
“Mhm.” Yu Guiyao thought she might be under a spell; no matter what the woman said, she believed it and instinctively agreed. She then helped her into her pajama pants.
Fu Wenchen couldn’t wait any longer and insisted on going further into the cave. But her shoes were nowhere to be found. Yu Guiyao had to pick her up horizontally again, carrying her slowly into the depths of the cave.
As they went deeper and the light dimmed, Fu Wenchen finally saw the true source of the light: countless fireflies were nesting in the cave. Their arrival seemed to disturb them; specks of glowing light suddenly flew into the air, turning into a brilliant galaxy that lit up their eyes. At that moment, a breeze blew, stirring the hair at their temples. The fireflies danced with the wind, surrounding them.
In this sea of glowing specks, Fu Wenchen stared at her in fascination, her gaze full of affection and a hint of madness. Yu Guiyao looked at the scenery and smiled. She was breathtakingly beautiful—in the play of light and shadow, her features were distinct, the small mole on her nose, her sexy and charming lips, and especially her eyes—like a little fox, brilliant yet temptingly pure.
Fu Wenchen couldn’t help but kiss the corner of her mouth, then sighed in her ear, “If it were night, would the outside be full of fireflies too?”
“Mhm.” Yu Guiyao looked down at her and smiled, instinctively returning the kiss. Their lips met softly. She answered, “It’s even more beautiful here at night.”
“Then next time, I want to be surrounded by fireflies, on the grass… with you.”
Fu Wenchen’s eyes were full of laughter. Holding her neck, she extended her tongue to lightly lick her lip. Yu Guiyao’s ears turned red instantly. She quickly turned her head and said in a panic, “Let’s stick to ‘pure’ things. Come, I’ll take you to the swing.”
Fu Wenchen: “…” No way, how childish. I’d much rather do what adults like to do…
She lowered her eyelashes, but seeing the other’s blushing face, she still nodded. “Okay~” She smiled, thinking that no matter what they did, as long as they were together, it was the best thing.
