The Lost Omega Heiress is Pregnant with My Child - Chapter 34
Take it slow and it’ll be fine.
The next day.
The journey to the laboratory turned out to be more complicated than Shi Anzhi had imagined.
First, they took an aircraft to a desolate, silent location. There, Shen Tingxue led Shi Anzhi onto a gravity elevator that descended vertically. Shi Anzhi noticed the elevator had no visible controls, it seemed to activate only after some form of identification. Then, they passed through dozens of intricate structural layers, descending without a sound.
Outside the window, streaks of light flashed by rapidly. Finally, the elevator stopped before a massive, heavy door.
Shen Tingxue stepped forward, aligning her eye with an iris scanner and pressing her palm against a genetic sequence verifier.
After multiple verification steps, an electronic voice announced:
[Identity confirmed: Shen Tingxue. Highest clearance granted.]
A door thick enough to withstand a small nuclear blast slid open on both sides.
Shi Anzhi followed a step behind Shen Tingxue, entering the facility. It was her first time in such a place, it felt like stepping into another dimension, and she couldn’t help but feel curious.
The air carried an indescribable, though not unpleasant, scent. The walls, ceiling, and floor of the corridor were made of a soft, white material, and the layout was disorienting for a newcomer.
Researchers in white lab coats worked diligently in various functional zones. Many of them had built-in communication devices, and the laboratory maintained a constant, almost eerie silence.
Whenever researchers spotted Shen Tingxue, they paused briefly to acknowledge her before resuming their work. A few lingered their gaze a moment longer upon noticing Shi Anzhi’s unfamiliar face.
After observing her surroundings, Shi Anzhi reached out and took Shen Tingxue’s hand.
Shen Tingxue tightened her grip in response.
She led Shi Anzhi down a long corridor.
On one side of the hallway were individual laboratories.
Before their arrival, Shen Tingxue, concerned that some of the experimental areas might frighten Shi Anzhi, had ordered her subordinates to temporarily seal off certain sections with electro-fogged glass.
Thus, most of what Shi Anzhi could see now appeared to be standard scientific scenes researchers operating precision instruments, petri dishes growing colonies of various colors, holographic screens displaying complex genetic sequence maps.
But even so, mistakes could happen.
As they turned a corner, a brief half-second delay in the electro-fogged glass of one laboratory caused it to turn transparent for a fleeting moment.
In that split second,
Shi Anzhi happened to catch a glimpse.
She saw a glass container, resembling an aquarium, filled with a bubbling pale green liquid and submerged within it was that a human body?
Its head was smaller than that of a normal person, and silver tubes were connected to the severed ends of its limbs. The skin appeared ghastly pale and swollen from prolonged immersion.
Shi Anzhi’s steps faltered abruptly. The bizarre image flashed by so quickly it felt like an illusion.
“What’s wrong?”
Shen Tingxue noticed her unease and asked with concern.
The image had already vanished. Shi Anzhi averted her eyes.
“It’s nothing.”
She shook her head, assuming she had simply been distracted.
They continued forward, and Chu Yi was already waiting respectfully.
Seeing the young lady enter hand in hand with Shi Anzhi, Chu Yi felt a flicker of astonishment, though he revealed nothing on his face.
In his memory, the young lady had never been this intimate with anyone before.
She remembered the first time the young lady mentioned this Alpha, she had vaguely alluded to some intimate contact between them.
“Young lady, Miss Shi.”
Chu Yi collected her thoughts and offered a gentle smile. “Please follow me.”
Shi Anzhi surveyed the room, it appeared to be a medical examination chamber, equipped with various life-sign monitoring instruments.
Chu Yi addressed Shi Anzhi, “Miss Shi, we’ll need to extract a glandular fluid sample next. It might cause some discomfort, so please try to relax.”
Shi Anzhi nodded and settled into the examination chair.
Shen Tingxue stood beside her, holding her hand. “Don’t be afraid, it’ll be over quickly.”
Chu Yi operated a robotic arm fitted with a micro-needle, pressing it against the skin at the nape of Shi Anzhi’s neck.
A sharp sting made Shi Anzhi frown involuntarily.
Watching her expression, Shen Tingxue grew increasingly agitated.
Twenty seconds later, the robotic arm retracted, the needle tip now glistening with several droplets of translucent fluid.
“All done,” Chu Yi announced.
“That’s it?” Shi Anzhi sounded surprised.
“This is just the first step,” Chu Yi explained, gazing at the precious glandular fluid with a reassuring smile. “Next, we need to perform a non-invasive full-body scan to develop the safest treatment plan for you.”
Shi Anzhi murmured acknowledgment and compliantly lay down inside another scanner that resembled a complex spacecraft capsule.
“Miss Shi, please relax. The entire scanning process will take about twenty minutes.”
The medical pod’s door slowly sealed shut.
Shen Tingxue’s expression turned grave Chu Yi had lied. Normally, it would only take five minutes.
After five minutes had passed, she mentally queried Chu Yi.
[How are things?]
[It’s a bit complicated.]
On the holographic data panel, the red curve representing mental barrier intensity nearly shot off the top of the screen. Chu Yi transmitted it to Shen Tingxue.
[Miss Shi’s mental barrier strength is approximately SSS-level rare even among all recorded Alphas in the Empire. Her willpower is exceptionally resilient.]
[Any attempt to invade her mental domain will be detected by her subconscious and met with countermeasures. This makes it nearly impossible to trigger unconscious pheromone release without alerting her.]
Shen Tingxue’s heart sank.
[What about neural blockers?]
[Standard doses of neural blockers might be ineffective on Miss Shi. Increasing the dosage could cause some degree of damage to her autonomic nervous system.]
The communication channel fell silent for a moment.
Chu Yi proposed a suggestion.
[Young lady, since Miss Shi is already here, why don’t we proceed with live stress extraction today? Currently, this appears to be the most efficient method.]
As she spoke, Chu Yi began preparing to release calming agents from the medical pod to prevent Shi Anzhi from struggling.
Shen Tingxue’s nails dug deeply into her palms, her mind already conjuring images of Shi Anzhi restrained on an experimental table.
Sensing Chu Yi’s intention, she commanded sharply: Stop immediately.
Chu Yi was baffled.
[Young lady, why?]
Shen Tingxue rushed forward, pressing down on Chu Yi’s operating hand, and input commands to resume the medical pod’s normal functions.
The medical pod finally halted, and Shi Anzhi was slid out.
Shen Tingxue approached anxiously. “How are you feeling?”
Shi Anzhi remained oblivious to everything, sharing her novel experience with Shen Tingxue. “I thought it would be dark inside, but it was actually quite bright, with many things spinning around.”
She then asked, “What do we do next?”
While mentally commanding Chu Yi to shut up, Shen Tingxue replied to Shi Anzhi, “We go home.”
“Today was just to bring you in for a check-up. We’ll figure out how to help you recover later.”
Shi Anzhi hummed in acknowledgment. Recalling her experience in the lab, she couldn’t help but gently stroke Shen Tingxue’s abdomen. “Ah Xue, does coming here often make you tired?”
“I’m worried you’re overexerting yourself.”
Shen Tingxue placed her hand over Shi Anzhi’s on her stomach. “It’s manageable. I’m used to it by now.”
Chu Yi, who had been abruptly silenced earlier, was utterly bewildered. Witnessing this scene, she began to piece things together.
No way!
Feeling uneasy, Shen Tingxue led Shi Anzhi out of the lab and boarded a flying craft to leave.
During the journey, she instructed Chu Yi:
[Continue with the old plan. Try other research directions and make it look convincing.]
On the other end of the communication, Chu Yi responded quickly.
[Why?]
She didn’t understand. They had already found a new solution, yet the young lady was hesitating.
[Miss, you know we’re running out of time. If we fail, our entire lab even the entire Shen family will become sacrifices to the Governor’s wrath. Everything you’ve painstakingly built over the years will be destroyed.]
[This is an order.]
[I don’t understand!]
Chu Yi’s tone sharpened.
[I originally thought you were using rabbit gestation hormones to deceive the Governor’s mansion and buy us more time.]
[I found it strange back then you and Young Master Jiang have barely met, so faking a pregnancy seemed illogical. But now I realize…]
[Is it for this Alpha?]
[Miss, you don’t need to go this far. There are many ways to sedate her. We could simply proceed directly, and she’d only think she fell ill.]
[I forbid it.]
Shen Tingxue’s words carried a sharp warning, her mental impact striking Chu Yi’s mind forcefully.
[Chu Yi, remember your place.]
The communication fell silent.
Chu Yi could feel Shen Tingxue’s anger.
She apologized and cut off the connection.
Then, gazing at the test tube containing Shi Anzhi’s glandular fluid, a thought stirred within her.
The young lady had grown soft, but she wouldn’t. This lover would only bring trouble.
Chu Yi began operating the equipment with practiced ease.
[Initiating program.Creating new sample. Sample stored.]
[New sample ID: Shepherd—Core Stabilizer—Test Subject, Shi Anzhi.]
[Project Level: Top Secret.]
By the time they returned to the Shen residence, night had deepened.
Shen Tingxue felt somewhat fatigued, yet her mind remained alert under the influence of the medication.
Sensitively attuned to the changes in her body, she recalled a secret discussion about rabbit arousal hormones.
It was said that some Omegas used rabbit arousal hormones purely to enhance pleasure under the drug’s effects, libido would intensify, breasts would swell, and the body would become fuller. Lactation, it seemed, was also a fetish for many Alphas.
But only in the most disreputable places would Omegas resort to such measures, despite the numerous side effects.
Shen Tingxue closed her eyes, her rationality telling her she absolutely could not continue taking the rabbit tranquilizer long-term. She had truly gone mad, she thought it would only cause physical reactions at most, but now the drug seemed to be stimulating her mind as well.
Back on the aircraft, she had already been clinging to Shi Anzhi, and now that they were home, she completely lost control.
The moment they stepped inside, she wanted to kiss Shi Anzhi, and she actually did it.
First, she kissed her on the cheek. Shi Anzhi was clearly taken aback, but Shen Tingxue didn’t even bother explaining and went on to press her lips against Shi Anzhi’s.
It was a kiss that felt abrupt to Shi Anzhi. Instinctively, she tried to pull away, gently pushing Shen Tingxue back. But Shen Tingxue caught her hand, interlacing their fingers, and continued kissing her.
Shi Anzhi grew warm all over from the kiss. As she breathed in the air thick with the scent of desire, she began to respond. Shen Tingxue smiled.
As they kissed Shen Tingxue felt herself nearing the edge of losing control when Shi Anzhi suddenly stopped, doing her best to break free.
Shen Tingxue was extremely displeased. Her body was too sensitive now, and stopping felt unbearable.
“What’s wrong?”
“We’re home now, there’s no one around.”
“I want you1”
Shi Anzhi’s face flushed red as she refused, relying on her shallow knowledge of physiology. “You can’t do this when you’re pregnant.”
Shen Tingxue was momentarily stunned by her words, then laughed. How could Shi Anzhi be so adorable?
Her smile at that moment was pure, carrying a sense of helplessness, as if she had played a prank only to end up punishing herself.
“No, I’m not.”
She coaxed, “It’s fine if you’re gentle.”
Shi Anzhi’s face grew even hotter. “No, we can’t.”
Shen Tingxue, acting like a child, insisted, “We can.”
“We can.”
“Ah, come on.”
She guided Shi Anzhi to the sofa, then lifted her shirt and pressed close to Shi Anzhi’s face. “Do I look good?”
Shi Anzhi’s face burned hotter, noticing that Shen Tingxue’s seemed to have grown larger.
“Don’t do this.”
Shi Anzhi tried to reason with her. “Can’t we just kiss?”
Shen Tingxue was both annoyed and amused. “Then where should we kiss?”
The situation was already too intense. Breathing in the moist air, Shi Anzhi’s pheromones spilled out, making Shen Tingxue feel as if she were surrounded by an ocean.
She couldn’t see Shi Anzhi’s face.
Shen Tingxue narrowed her eyes slightly. “What about here? Does it look good?”
“Which place looks better?”
Shi Anzhi’s lips trembled, her heart pounding wildly, refusing to answer Shen Tingxue.
A long time later, Shen Tingxue lost herself in the relentless waves.
Her body reached its climax, and after exhaustion set in, Shen Tingxue fell asleep holding Shi Anzhi.
It was the best sleep she had gotten in a long time.
The next day, as the morning light began to brighten, Shen Tingxue was forcibly awakened from her sleep by an alarm in her mind.
It was an urgent communication from Bai Yue, a subordinate in her hacker team.
[Miss, I’m sorry.]
Bai Yue’s voice was grave.
[The information firewall we built for Miss Shi was forcibly attacked an hour ago.]
Shen Tingxue was instantly fully awake. Recently, she had tasked her hacker team with blocking all information searches for Shi Anzhi within the special zone, making her temporarily untraceable.
[Miss, the other side is using military-grade decryption algorithms. We’re about to lose our hold.]
[Based on the attack path and intensity, combined with location tracking, it appears to be the Ji family attempting a forced breach.]
