- The Junior Sister Isn't Flirtatious At All; It's All Their Fault for Being Too Seductive
- Chapter 16 - Reluctance to Part
The sixty-sixth day was Jiang Luoyue’s last day in the Grand Void Realm. After the final Spirit Spring bath, her spiritual roots would be completely cleansed, and she would have to leave this place.
Wan’er was uncharacteristically reluctant, holding Jiang Luoyue’s arm and looking at her with eyes full of sorrow at parting.
“Didn’t you say women were terrifying before?” Jiang Luoyue folded her arms across her chest and turned her face away, refusing to look at him.
Wan’er looked both guilty and pathetic, shaking her arm. “Older Sister Luoyue, can’t you stay? Master and I are so lonely.”
“I can visit you often,” Jiang Luoyue said, patting his head.
Wan’er nodded. He was very well-behaved and sensible, knowing not to pester her too much.
“This child has been taught very well by you,” Jiang Luoyue said, looking at Gu Wangfeng. She inexplicably thought that if they ever had a child, he would definitely be a good father.
Ehh, I’m thinking a little too far ahead. A blush appeared on Jiang Luoyue’s cheeks, and she shifted her gaze.
“Mhm,” Gu Wangfeng looked at Jiang Luoyue, his gaze exceptionally tender, like thawing spring water, tightly enveloping the beloved woman in a warm haven.
Perhaps due to their daily closeness, Jiang Luoyue felt she had genuinely started to like Gu Wangfeng a little.
Since the time the System wove a fantasy for Gu Wangfeng, making him believe he had slept with Jiang Luoyue, he had not done anything overly inappropriate to her.
However, the look in his eyes when he looked at her was incredibly doting, and he was constantly holding and hugging her.
That night, Jiang Luoyue lay in bed. Cultivators do not necessarily need sleep; emptying the mind during cultivation serves as a form of rest.
But she didn’t feel like cultivating, so she wrapped herself in a blanket and went to sleep.
In a daze, someone pushed open her door and walked to the side of her bed-couch.
The tall figure’s shadow enveloped her, and Jiang Luoyue knew instantly it was Gu Wangfeng.
After all, no outsiders could enter the Grand Void Realm, and Wan’er was only a child.
Gu Wangfeng carefully lifted the blanket and lay down behind her. He then cautiously moved closer, placing a hand on her waist.
Gu Wangfeng simply wanted to be closer to her before she left, without any other intentions. However, once his hand rested on that slender, soft waist, he couldn’t help but caress it for a while. Then he hugged her tighter, lightly inhaling her fragrance.
Jiang Luoyue turned over, facing him.
Gu Wangfeng’s body immediately went rigid, afraid he had woken her. He remained motionless for quite some time. Only after confirming that Jiang Luoyue was asleep and had simply rolled over did he lower his head and kiss her forehead.
The next second, Jiang Luoyue chuckled.
Caught red-handed, Gu Wangfeng looked embarrassed, unwilling to meet Jiang Luoyue’s teasing gaze. Her eyes appeared exceptionally bright in the darkness.
“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Gu Wangfeng asked awkwardly.
“What, if I were asleep, would you be able to do whatever you want?” Jiang Luoyue deliberately emphasized the phrase “do whatever you want.”
Gu Wangfeng’s ears couldn’t help but feel hot, but the hand wrapped around her waist tightened. He buried his head in Jiang Luoyue’s neck, giving a muffled hum.
Jiang Luoyue’s head was pressed against his chest. Gu Wangfeng’s physique was slightly leaner than Yue Wenqiu’s, but he still had chest muscles.
She reached out and gave them a squeeze. Gu Wangfeng tensed up, but did not reach out to stop her. “Do you… want it?”
Jiang Luoyue hadn’t expected him to ask such a question. She was already easily embarrassed, and this question made her blush even more.
“You…” Before Jiang Luoyue could finish her sentence, the System’s voice suddenly rang out.
“Host, quickly say yes! Quickly say yes! Didn’t you want to become stronger? Gu Wangfeng is a Great Ascension cultivator. After one night of sleeping, you can break through the Golden Core stage!”
The System was very excited, the small white furball buzzing loudly in her mind.
Jiang Luoyue was still hesitating.
Gu Wangfeng’s eyes, however, were fixed on her without blinking, seemingly anticipating her response. His large hand, which had only been rubbing her waist, gradually became more presumptuous, feeling around haphazardly on her body.
“Alright,” Jiang Luoyue lowered her gaze, her face full of shyness.
Gu Wangfeng tentatively kissed Jiang Luoyue’s lips. The two tumbled together, engaging in mischief throughout the night.
Gu Wangfeng’s body was much hotter and more passionate than she had imagined. After only two or three rounds, Jiang Luoyue was exhausted and called out that she wanted to sleep.
Gu Wangfeng, however, grumbled, “I’m not satisfied yet. Last time… your stamina wasn’t this poor.”
Upon hearing this, Jiang Luoyue desperately wanted to summon the System and ask what exactly happened in the illusion it had woven.
“I’m not feeling up to it today…” Jiang Luoyue stammered.

Jiang Luoyue drifted off to sleep in a haze, unsure if it was from tiredness or exhaustion.
The next day, when Jiang Luoyue woke up, she felt a burning sensation in her dantian.
“System, what’s wrong with me?” Jiang Luoyue asked.
“Host, you’re about to break through the Golden Core stage,” the System said in a cheerful tone. “However, the Host needs to face the Heavenly Tribulation, though.”
“Heavenly Tribulation?” Just as Jiang Luoyue spoke, thunder rumbled faintly in the sky.
Afraid that the heavenly lightning would damage Gu Wangfeng’s Grand Void Realm, she urgently ran outside.
However, just as her foot crossed the threshold, her arm was grabbed by Gu Wangfeng, who had suddenly appeared. “Don’t be afraid.”
His gentle voice seemed to possess a strange magic, making Jiang Luoyue less fearful.
“Will the heavenly lightning reach your Grand Void Realm? It’s terrifying.”
Gu Wangfeng saw Jiang Luoyue shrinking into his embrace in a highly dependent posture, like a soft kitten. He couldn’t help but smile.
“Of course. Heavenly lightning is set by the Heavenly Dao; there is no escaping it no matter where you go,” Gu Wangfeng gently stroked the top of her head. “Don’t be afraid. I will protect you while you undergo the tribulation.”
The heavenly lightning struck. Jiang Luoyue dodged one bolt, but she couldn’t evade the next. In her haste, she pulled out the peach branch imbued with Gu Wangfeng’s cultivation and held it above her head to block.
The peach branch successfully blocked the heavenly lightning. The third bolt was even more easily deflected.
The dark clouds dispersed, and the lightning tribulation was over. Jiang Luoyue lay collapsed on the ground in a very undignified posture, her legs splayed apart.
Gu Wangfeng couldn’t help but laugh at her sprawled-out appearance. “It’s over now. The tribulation is finished.”
He helped Jiang Luoyue up. It took her a while to recover her wits. Just as she was about to thank Gu Wangfeng, his words made her freeze.
“However, Luoyue, when we first met, your cultivation was only at the early Golden Core stage. How did you break through the Golden Core stage and reach the Nascent Soul stage in just two months?” The tenderness faded from Gu Wangfeng’s eyes, replaced by scrutiny.
Jiang Luoyue’s face stiffened, but she quickly regained her composure. However, that momentary stiffness did not escape Gu Wangfeng’s notice.
“It’s probably because you helped me cleanse my spiritual roots and I soaked in the Spirit Spring for so long,” Jiang Luoyue explained.
