The Gloomy Overseas Student Rewards His Hubby With Some Thirst Traps - Chapter 49
Chapter 49
When Yu Yanshuang was thrown into the hot spring pool, his cheeks were still stiff from the cold wind. He splashed the spring water over his face, feeling comfort seep back into his skin.
Both sets of beautiful riding outfits were discarded on the damp grass. Sain had thrown them quite far, as if to ensure Yu Yanshuang had no way to escape.
As Sain walked toward him, ripples surged across the water’s surface toward Yu Yanshuang. His grey eyes looked cold and stern, yet his entire body was radiating a scorching heat. With every step he took, his presence seemed to expand.
Yu Yanshuang looked away awkwardly and warned, “Sain, if you mess up this pool, Grandmother will kill you. And besides… I don’t want to do it with you right now.”
“Then you’d better eat it all up cleanly so you don’t make a mess,” Sain said wickedly. He reached out, breaking the surface of the water, and pulled the boy into his arms.
One advantage of being in the water was that despite their significant height difference, the buoyancy allowed Yu Yanshuang to dangle his feet without discomfort.
Yu Yanshuang rested his chin on Sain’s shoulder. He glanced curiously at Sain’s back and noticed the red scratch marks from last time were still there, causing him to look away in embarrassment. The muscles under his chin felt like solid rock; Yu tried to move away in annoyance, but Sain only tightened his grip more forcefully.
Their body temperatures synchronized in the warm water. Unusually, Sain just held him. Despite his earlier threats, he didn’t make a move. Having not seen him for two days, Sain missed Yu Yanshuang deeply.
Honestly, if he hadn’t found out that Grandmother was arranging an exchange program for Yu, Sain would have simply brought him back to his side to take care of him. Seeing Yu Yanshuang’s limping, struggling gait earlier had made him both angry and amused. How did he manage to make himself so miserable while trying to get revenge on me?
Sain tried to check if the swelling had gone down, but the shimmering water made it difficult to see. He had to use more force, even trying to use his thigh to lift the boy out of the water.
Yu Yanshuang immediately kicked Sain’s leg. “You pervert! Sain, don’t do these weird things here!” The swirling current made it all too easy for things to happen.
“Yu, hmm? Tell me, what do you want to do back in China? I can take you back once I’m finished with my business,” Sain said, stopping his hands and hugging him tightly.
Yu Yanshuang felt the air being squeezed out of his lungs. He gasped, “Loosen up a bit. You don’t need to worry about me. Since you lied to me, don’t think this is over. I’m not going to be nice to you!”
“You’ve reminded me that you owe me so many punishments. Are you trying to go back to find that ‘Brother Yu’ or whatever? Hmm?” Sain pressed him against the edge of the pool, tilting his head to bite Yu Yanshuang’s neck.
He hated the feeling of losing control, so he bit down hard, his teeth sinking deep into the soft flesh.
Yu Yanshuang cried out in pain, “Sain, are you crazy! Whoever I look for is none of your business! I told you I don’t want to be with you anymore—not like this, without any clear status! I’ll see whoever I want, you have no right to control me!”
“We’ve both threatened and deceived each other, so we’re even! It’s over! Let’s just go our separate ways!”
Over the past two days, Yu Yanshuang had been terrified of being alone again back in China. But Sain wanted him to stay. If he didn’t leave, it would look like he cared too much about Sain; if he did leave, he felt like a deserter, letting Sain win.
His heart had been in a state of constant flux, fearful and lost. He was only eighteen. No one had cared if he was sad when his family collapsed; no one asked how frightened he was by the rumors; no one asked if he was scared coming to America all by himself.
Finding someone to hate—focusing all his energy on that—made it easier to forget other hidden pains. Yu Yanshuang had chosen to fixate on Sain.
He had forgotten why he chose Sain in the first place. Was it that first stunning glimpse of his handsome face? Was it the sight of Sain’s powerful touchdown on the football field amidst the cheering crowds? Or was it that moment before entering the classroom, hearing students gossiping about him being “rude,” only for a low, cold voice to cut them off:
“Shut up.”
“Shut up,” Sain whispered now, but for a different reason. Every word Yu Yanshuang said was challenging his nerves. The emotion known as anger caused his muscles to ripple. He broke through the water without hesitation.
Feeling Yu Yanshuang’s stomach fill up, Sain’s uneasy heart finally felt like it had landed on soft cotton.
“We aren’t even, Yu. I’m sorry… If I hadn’t lied to you, how would you ever have come to me? If I hadn’t pretended to be straight, you would have run away long ago. If I hadn’t forced you, you would have gone off to marry some girl,” Sain moved with fierce, sweeping intensity. It was as if his intense actions were the only way to express the love he couldn’t put into words.
Saying “I like you” felt humiliating to him. He feared the other person would use it to mock him. His grandmother mocked Old Bath that way; Chu Siqing treated Ash that way; even his own mother had treated him that way.
He remembered when he thought his mother finally decided to treat him well. She had accepted his coming-of-age watch, and for the first time, under her gentle gaze, he said: “I really like this watch.” Immediately after, he was thrown into a group of girls like an exhibit. His mother’s smile remained gentle: “Sain, pick one. Get married and have children.”
Thin sweat rolled from his short hair into the deep, carved ridges of his muscles, dripping onto Yu’s fair, delicate back. It was so hot Yu Yanshuang could hardly stand it. While the water cushioned some of the impact, it also brought a different sensation—undercurrents washing over his flushed, pink body.
Yu Yanshuang felt like he was about to forget all his troubles.
Sain suddenly pulled back, pinching Yu Yanshuang’s chin. “Call me husband. Beg me to f*ck you, and then I’ll continue.”
“No!” Yu Yanshuang opened his eyes, panting heavily. “I won’t!”
“Weren’t we doing well before? Weren’t you happy being my follower?” Sain asked. “Why are you suddenly unwilling to stay? I’ve promised you everything you asked for, so why do you still want to leave?”
“Because you’ve been lying to me! Sain, I’ve never had the upper hand. It’s so unfair! Why am I the only one who ends up in a mess!” Yu Yanshuang, pushed to his limit, tried to swat away the hands that were skillfully stoking his desire. To use this method to control a man at his most vulnerable… Sain was too cruel.
But Sain held Yu Yanshuang’s waist firmly, pinning him against the edge of the pool. He knew Yu’s sensitive spots too well. Slumped against the edge, Yu’s sadness was temporarily replaced by a pleasure that, once ended, would only make the sadness return more fiercely.
Yu Yanshuang started crying again. Large tears fell into the moss. The moss was nourished, but the boy was swept away by the sadness he had suppressed for so long.
Sain had seen Yu Yanshuang cry in many ways, but rarely like this—quietly shedding tears. Garcia had caught a glimpse of it once, but Yu’s defensiveness usually prevented him from showing such vulnerability.
“I won’t lie to you anymore. You can bully me however you want, okay?” Sain began to feel frantic. He pulled the boy into his arms, kissing him all over. He tried to give Yu Yanshuang that overwhelming pleasure again; even as Yu gripped his back in ecstasy, his brow remained furrowed.
Sain buried his face in Yu Yanshuang’s neck, as if to hide his own embarrassment. “How am I not in a mess? My whole heart has followed you. How am I not in a mess,” Sain murmured, his voice low and slow, as if the words were hard to get out.
Amidst the sudden white-out in his vision, Yu Yanshuang heard those words. His slender neck arched like a swan’s, his chin tilted high as he struggled for air.
“Sain… you… stop…”
Sain ignored him, his emotions pouring out into his movements to suppress the intense sense of shame. Yu Yanshuang’s sudden cry of his name felt like the ultimate encouragement. He held the boy tightly, ignoring the weak, useless attempts to push him away.
“I’ve always been watching you. Why can’t you just watch me? Yu, look at me…”
The murmurs sounded like prayers, regardless of what state the person in his arms was in. The hot spring water was practically splashing out of the pool, yet Sain’s voice remained extremely restrained.
He had seen Yu Yanshuang’s terror after leaving the Yu family; he had seen his panic over the rumors; he had seen his loneliness upon arriving in America. Sain had already dealt with the students trying to spread rumors, ensuring they couldn’t speak. Even when Yu had leaked that news, Sain’s team had deleted the negative comments so that Yu only saw the positive ones.
He had seen Yu Yanshuang when he couldn’t find a job and had no money, splitting a sandwich into two meals. He was the one who made sure the kitchen hired the boy who couldn’t even tell vegetables apart. Sain had thought Yu Yanshuang followed him because he had a secret crush. It turned out he was just selling info. He had set a trap to catch Yu, and the ensuing entanglement had been more exciting than he ever imagined.
“Can’t we just keep being entangled like this?”
Sain was practically begging, even while he was driving the person in his arms to the brink of collapse. Finally, with a sigh of satisfaction, Sain said, “Yu, I like you so much…”
Receiving no response, Sain looked up in a daze, only to find the person in his arms with his mouth slightly open, his face flushed, looking completely spent. Sain quickly kissed away the traces of moisture on his face and patted his cheek. “Yu?”
The water in the pool was cloudy. When Sain carried Yu Yanshuang out, the water dripped from their bodies onto the ground.
Carrying him into the small cabin, Sain actually started to panic, checking Yu Yanshuang’s breathing. Just as he was about to start CPR, Yu Yanshuang took a sharp breath. The dizziness and the “white-out” in his vision finally passed.
He clutched his chest, and as he remembered everything that happened, his face turned bright red. “The pool… the water will be changed, right? I need to shower, I’m so dirty…”
Every bit of sadness and anger was replaced by overwhelming shame. Sain had gone crazy… Had he really been holding back his strength all this time? Yu Yanshuang found it hard to believe.
Sain breathed a sigh of relief and climbed onto the wooden bed to pull the boy into his arms. The view from the cabin was beautiful—white snowy mountains and endless fir trees.
They sat in a long silence as the afterglow faded. Feeling awkward, Yu Yanshuang tried to change the subject: “Sain, what did you say at the end?” He felt like he hadn’t even been on Earth at that moment; he couldn’t hear a thing.
“I said I was going to give it all to you,” Sain said without blinking. “And I did.”
