The Days I Was Secretly Loved by the All-Girls School Beauties - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
The night at Minton Academy had shed the stiffness and solemnity of the day. The rhythmic chirping of cicadas, unique to summer nights, echoed through the small grove.
Along the way, Yun Zhan saw several girls in pairs, intimately linking arms. Their soft, flowing dresses brushed against each other amidst joyful laughter. Love and moonlight caused their slender silhouettes to overlap, and before long, the sound of blushing, heart-racing kisses drifted occasionally to her ears.
Yun Zhan silently brushed her black hair behind her ear, hiding her reddening earlobes.
She suddenly recalled that two hundred years ago, at the foot of the Pennines in Northern England, there was a female gentleman named Anne. In her surviving diaries and travelogues, she had recorded in great detail her methods of seducing women during her time at a girls’ school, as well as those forbidden and sweet romantic histories. She and her first love had been intimate in hidden attics, every frame recorded with such clarity…
Yun Zhan bit her lower lip. If she had known back then, she wouldn’t have read those diaries.
Now that she had come to a girls’ school, though she led a simple life with few desires, it didn’t mean she wouldn’t feel shy or awkward. She knew what they were doing, and she never expected the “forbidden” scenes recorded in those diaries to be so vividly real and provocative.
“Shy already? There’s more excitement you haven’t seen yet, like… the back garden in the dead of night… hehe…”
“That’s enough.” Yun Zhan turned her head, forcing herself not to pay attention to those ambiguous “moist sounds.”
After an unknown amount of time, she realized she had wandered elsewhere. The fresh air here gradually settled her restless heart, and her previously tense body relaxed quite a bit.
It was very quiet here. After stopping, Yun Zhan could even hear her own heartbeat. She found it strange—even if it was night, there shouldn’t be such a deserted place on campus.
“Senior Pei… Senior… I’ll kneel before you…”
Judging by the tone, the person seemed terrified; their voice trembled violently, with a hint of a sob.
“Get up. Speak properly.”
A cold, detached voice pierced through the thick thicket, causing Yun Zhan’s body to shudder. She froze instantly, not daring to move an inch.
The female voice was crisp and icy, hiding a faint sense of intimidation. A cold sweat broke out on Yun Zhan’s back, and an ominous premonition rose in her heart.
“Who’s there?”
In the darkness, the owner of the voice accurately captured Yun Zhan’s location. Her sharp eyes caught sight of the shadow cast by the corner of Yun Zhan’s clothes. Without haste, she gave a look to the person beside her. In less than half a minute, Yun Zhan was discovered.
Pei Yanxi’s figure was exceptionally graceful. She lazily uncrossed her legs and slowly stood up from the long bench. Her black boots stepped onto the stone slabs, making a dull click-clack sound. Yun Zhan was pressed down firmly by several people, forced into a half-kneeling position on the ground.
Yun Zhan opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was a pair of snowy-white, well-proportioned thighs. That fair, delicate skin burned Yun Zhan’s eyes, and she hurriedly bit her lip and looked away.
As expected of a girls’ school… Yun Zhan swore this was the first time she had ever seen such beautiful legs.
Looking further up, Yun Zhan saw Pei Yanxi’s dangerous and stunning face.
Inside her head, 21 suddenly let out a scream: “Wow~ What a beautiful lady!”
Yun Zhan: “Stop screaming in my head…”
A white shirt, a black tie, and a short skirt revealing her thighs… Her jet-black hair reached her slender waist, and the wave-like curls at the ends exuded a maturity that didn’t belong to someone her age.
The black tie hung over her perky chest. Pei Yanxi’s upturned eyes narrowed slightly, looking down at Yun Zhan, who was nearly forced to her knees, as if looking at an ant.
Pei Yanxi’s beauty was highly aggressive, like a femme fatale wearing human skin. Her tall stature and the hint of charm in her eyes added a layer of maturity. Her beautiful eyes tilted up slightly like a cat’s, her gaze filled with a touch of laziness and arrogance. Her thin lips were pressed together, and her entire being radiated a cold, distant “do not approach” aura.
Yun Zhan’s first reaction was: Is this kind of outfit allowed at this school?
Before Yun Zhan could think further, Pei Yanxi’s slender fingers gripped her chin. Her smooth nails pressed against the delicate skin. The pain forced Yun Zhan to raise her head, coming into intimate eye contact with this “femme fatale.”
Yun Zhan hastily squeezed out two teardrops. The crystalline light of the tears flickered in her clean, beautiful “doe eyes.” Yun Zhan’s expression became dazed, her misty gaze crashing into Pei Yanxi’s eyes.
At the moment their gazes met, Pei Yanxi’s body visibly stiffened for a second, and the grip on Yun Zhan’s chin loosened slightly.
“I’m sorry, Senior. I’m a freshman. I lost my way in the school and stumbled here by mistake.” Yun Zhan reacted quickly, and her acting was superb.
Almost instantly, she put on a harmless, pitiful appearance. Combined with her lovely face, it was hard for anyone not to feel a sense of pity.
“Senior Pei, what should we do…”
The few lackeys nearby hesitated, not knowing how to handle Yun Zhan.
Pei Yanxi withdrew her gaze. The beauty’s red lips parted slightly, exhaling a breath like a delicate orchid. Without any hesitation, her cold voice spoke each word clearly: “Drag her away. Lock her in the forbidden room.”
She was heartless, as if the “ambiguous” eye contact from a moment ago had never happened.
“Huh? Senior…”
The lackeys were clearly stunned. What kind of place was the forbidden room? Even a dog wouldn’t dare stay there for a minute. If she went in, even if the teachers released her the next day, it would leave enough of a psychological shadow on this freshman.
“Hmm?” Pei Yanxi narrowed her eyes, and a single look scared off the person who questioned her.
Soon, Yun Zhan was being dragged and pulled quite a distance away.
Once she confirmed she was far enough from Pei Yanxi, she instantly broke free from the two girls’ restraint. With a beautiful shoulder throw, she slammed one of them onto the lawn and kicked the other one into a flower bed.
The girl on the grass saw stars, her body swaying so much she couldn’t even walk straight. After the other girl stood up nursing her severe pain, she had no choice but to give up chasing Yun Zhan.
This seemed to be some sort of forbidden zone; there were no surveillance cameras around.
In less than half a minute, Yun Zhan had devised a plan. She flipped over the garden fence, easily kicked open a window in the restroom, and hid inside. She coiled up her previously loose hair and used a branch she had picked up to pin it, disguising herself as an ordinary student. After tidying her clothes, she walked boldly out of the restroom and slipped back into the freshman ceremony hall, which hadn’t finished yet.
21 suddenly spoke up, clicking its tongue: “You were really acting just now… If you wanted to fight, that whole group couldn’t have beaten you, yet you played the frail little white flower.”
It knew Yun Zhan too well, so it hadn’t been worried at all. Yun Zhan had survived scripts where the whole world was in chaos in ancient times; how could she be scared by a few students?
“But then again, you ran away. What if they keep looking for trouble later?”
Yun Zhan relaxed her body and leaned against the seat, closing her eyes. She felt a bit tired and replied much later: “First, there were no cameras or lights there. I didn’t show my full face the whole time; she has no evidence that person was me. Second, she isn’t a teacher or school official. If she wants to use the school’s authority to find me, she must have a very legitimate reason. I think at most she can only trouble me privately. I have my own ways of dealing with that.”
Judging by the tone of those female students, the forbidden room seemed like a terrifying place. Yun Zhan squinted comfortably. She thought that if she had actually gone with them, the situation might have been even worse than it was now.
Since it had come to this, she would take it one step at a time.
“By the way, I think I’ve found the files on that beautiful senior from just now.” 21 became noticeably excited, chattering in her ear—it really loved beautiful women.
It continued: “The senior who pinched you just now is Pei Yanxi, 18 years old, one of the three main heroines of this world. The Pei family made their fortune through gold and arms during the period of unrest. After the situation stabilized, they pivoted to the education and entertainment industries.”
Yun Zhan nodded, her mind rapidly processing this information.
“Keep going. Tell me more details about her specifically.”
“Sure! Pei Yanxi is the secret child of the Master of the Pei family and a once-famous movie queen. That’s why she’s incredibly beautiful, naturally charming, and proud. In her early years, she lived a displaced life in the turbulent territories abroad. Her personality is cold, and she especially hates physical contact with others. It’s worth mentioning that half of Minton Academy is funded by her family.”
Hates physical contact? Yun Zhan raised an eyebrow and hummed with dissatisfaction. She hates physical contact yet she pinched Yun Zhan’s chin and forced her to make eye contact…
Pei Yanxi’s fingers were very white, and she had used considerable force when gripping her chin. Yun Zhan frowned as she recalled the expression—Pei Yanxi had looked at her like she was a plaything. That innate, arrogant gaze made her very uncomfortable.
“Fine. What about the other two heroines?” Yun Zhan propped her chin up with her hand.
Three heroines… She seemed to have noticed a blind spot.
