The Cool CEO’s Ultra-Sweet Boyfriend - Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Not Telling You
The empty room was pitch black. Xu Nanxin was pinned down on the bed by a strange man, barely able to move.
Where is this? Xu Nanxin panicked for no reason. The room was unnaturally dark; he couldn’t see a single thing. He struggled, trying to push the person off him, but the strange man pinned him down with ease. Pinning Xu Nanxin’s hands above his head, the man lowered his head and kissed his lips.
“Mmh…”
An unfamiliar scent invaded his mouth. Xu Nanxin was terrified. In the pitch-black environment, his senses were heightened, making the feeling of the man’s hand sliding under his shirt extraordinarily intense.
With his chest trembling, Xu Nanxin bit the man’s lip hard out of sheer terror. Summoning every ounce of strength he had, he managed to push the man away and scrambled to the corner of the bed, his limbs weak from fear.
“Who… who are you? Don’t come any closer…” His voice was frantic and helpless.
Right then, he heard the stranger let out a soft sigh. The man’s voice carried a hint of doting helplessness and tenderness—unfamiliar, yet incredibly pleasant to the ear. “Little Rabbit, it’s me, Z. Didn’t you ask to meet up?”
Z? Mr. Z? Hearing the name, Xu Nanxin subconsciously relaxed a bit, though he remained on guard.
“Mr…. Z?” Xu Nanxin’s voice was still trembling from the shock.
“It’s me. Come here. I won’t scare you anymore,” the other man replied, his voice laced with a gentle, teasing chuckle.
Xu Nanxin seemed to believe him. Trembling, he fumbled his way back across the bed until his hand brushed against an arm. He gripped it tightly, and the man used the momentum to pull him into a warm embrace.
The warm hug finally brought Xu Nanxin a sense of security. “Why is it so dark here? I can’t see anything.”
“Isn’t this nice? Baby, in this darkness, you belong only to me.” After saying this, the man caressed his face and kissed his lips once more.
This time, Xu Nanxin didn’t resist frantically like before. He obediently let the man kiss him to his heart’s content, not even objecting when the man’s fingers slipped into his mouth to play and stir.
After the kiss, Xu Nanxin finally raised his hand to touch Mr. Z’s face, saying dependently, “I want to see you. I want to know what you look like.”
Mr. Z was his online boyfriend. They had never met in person before, so naturally, Xu Nanxin really wanted to see him.
“It’s not time yet. Let’s do something else first,” the man said with a chuckle. Removing Xu Nanxin’s hand, he gently pushed him back onto the bed.
Anxious and fearful yet filled with a touch of anticipation, Xu Nanxin slowly relaxed his body and lay back on the bed. Mr. Z leaned in for a tender kiss, prying his mouth open to chase after sweetness as their clothes were stripped away piece by piece.
Xu Nanxin’s toes curled as his heart began to race furiously. This is Mr. Z. This is my most beloved Mr. Z…
Following the man’s movements, he shyly opened up his body, ready to welcome him.
Right at that exact moment, with a sharp click, the bedroom lights snapped on. The instant Xu Nanxin saw the man’s face clearly, he let out a piercing shriek!
“Ah…!”
Xu Nanxin snapped his eyes open and bolted up in bed. His heart was hammering wildly against his ribs. Clutching his chest, he looked around frantically. He let out a long sigh of relief—it was just a dream. He was in his own room.
Drenched in a cold sweat from the scare, Xu Nanxin weakly got up to turn on the lights, then poured himself a glass of water to soothe his frayed nerves.
Leaning against the headboard, he let out a massive sigh. That was terrifying. It had started out as such a beautiful dream; he had dreamed of Mr. Z, and the two of them had almost… But then, the moment the light came on, that face had suddenly transformed into the cold, stern face of his company’s new boss, shocking him right out of his sleep.
A perfectly good erotic dream had turned into a total nightmare in a split second.
Xu Nanxin figured he must be thinking about work too much by day and dreaming about it by night. He was already being worked to the bone by his new boss during the day, and now the man wouldn’t even leave him alone in his dreams!
His mind was completely filled with that man’s pleasant yet icy voice.
“Redo it.” “Redo it.” “Redo it…”
It echoed in his head like a tightening curse, making it hard to breathe. He checked the time—it was just past six in the morning. This was the very last day of the long holiday, but the thought of his proposal, which had already been rejected five or six times, dragged him painfully out of bed.
For an intern like him, human rights truly didn’t exist. Especially since his mentor had just been fired, there was no telling when it might be his turn.
Accepting his grim fate, Xu Nanxin booted up his computer to get to work. No matter what, he couldn’t afford to lose this job.
Before diving into work, however, he pulled out his phone and opened a niche messaging app. Looking at the only contact inside, “Z,” he tapped on the chatbox and sent a message: Mr. Z, good morning.
He hadn’t expected an immediate reply. After all, who would wake up this early on a long holiday?
Only a miserable soul like him.
Sighing at the thought, Xu Nanxin opened his work proposal. To be honest, he had no idea how to change it anymore. It would be fine if the boss actually gave him some feedback or suggestions!
But… every time Xu Nanxin looked at that terrifying face, he lost all courage to ask.
Ever since that man arrived, there hadn’t been a single day of peace in the company.
Ding—
His phone suddenly chimed.
A look of surprise flashed across Xu Nanxin’s face. He really hadn’t expected Mr. Z to reply so early in the morning.
Z: Morning. Isn’t today a day off?
Looking at Mr. Z’s message, an involuntary smile bloomed on Xu Nanxin’s face.
Big White Rabbit Toffee: Yeah, I was woken up by a nightmare. Couldn’t fall back asleep anyway. And they say the brain is sharpest in the morning, right? I wanted to see if I could fix my proposal.
Z: If I remember correctly, you’ve already revised it many times?
Big White Rabbit Toffee: Yeah… but every time it gets to our General Manager, he throws it back. He’s just not satisfied.
Z: Have you considered starting from scratch? If no amount of revising meets expectations, why not scrap it and redo it completely?
Redo it? Xu Nanxin froze for a moment. Right… redo it. Why hadn’t he thought of that? Every time their General Manager, Mr. Ji, spoke to him, he always said “Redo it,” not “Revise it again”…
It was a total epiphany. Xu Nanxin immediately fired off a message to Mr. Z.
Big White Rabbit Toffee: Thank you! Mr. Z, I love you!
He felt like Mr. Z was truly his lucky star. Bursting with sudden motivation, Lin Xianlan* completely abandoned the old draft and began mapping out a brand-new proposal from scratch.
