Mo Zhu was born from the stray thoughts sealed away by a high deity. As eras passed and worlds shifted, she finally shattered her seal. After a brutal confrontation, she left the deity gravely wounded, causing the other to plummet into the vast expanse of the thousand worlds.
To attain a truly complete physical form, Mo Zhu must travel through these worlds to find her. Whether the methods she uses involve genuine affection or calculated lies, Mo Zhu doesn’t care. However, when her deceptions are finally exposed, she realizes things have spiraled far beyond her control.
Word 1: The Benefactor x The Canary
The eldest Miss of the Mo family kept a “canary.” The canary had a cold pride and a sharp temper, leading everyone to believe she would soon be discarded. Only the canary knew just how malicious her benefactor’s true personality was.
“You answered the phone half a minute late today, so you’ll have to endure for an extra thirty minutes.”
Later, when the canary discovered Mo Zhu’s lies, Mo Zhu assumed there was no turning back. Instead, she was grabbed by the collar and pulled down by the furious woman. The canary pressed a cold kiss against her lips and hissed, “Since you said you liked me, you’d better keep it up, whether it’s real or fake.”
Word 2: The “Virtuos” Student x The Refined, Obsessive Painter
In the studio, a woman’s back shone as bright as the moon, her silken black hair sliding over her shoulders as she looked up. As the person behind her set the brush to canvas, those beautiful shoulder blades trembled like the wings of a butterfly.
“Teacher Bai, don’t move.”
Mo Zhu’s casual, airy voice flowed like a mountain spring, soaking into the heart. The woman beneath her turned around with all her strength to pull her into an embrace. “You won’t leave me, right?”
Mo Zhu gave a careless promise. But when the day came for her to depart, she found she couldn’t leave. The woman sat by the bed, watching her with a terrifyingly calm gaze.

Inside a quiet cottage in the woods, Mo Zhu felt the hands around her waist tightening. She breathed softly, her voice like an orchid’s scent, “Immortal, you’re hurting me.”
Later, the deceived immortal swore an oath upon her own soul to seal the fox demon away forever.
“Demons are just demons, full of lies and without a shred of honor.” The immortal reached out, stroking Mo Zhu’s hair gently. “Therefore, a disobedient demon should be locked away just like this.”
