The CEO Omega’s 'Soft Rice' Alpha - Chapter 21
Chapter 21
It took only half an hour by taxi to get from the university to the abandoned warehouse in the west of the city.
Having received no reply from Sister Grape, Su Yi’an reported the situation to the police and followed the kidnappers’ instructions into the warehouse. The structure was a dilapidated two-story shell with almost no cover. Su Yi’an immediately spotted He Xia, Lan Yin, and the others sitting on the upper level. Their clothes were intact, suggesting they hadn’t been harmed yet, likely having just arrived.
Seeing Su Yi’an enter, Lan Yin and the others shook their heads in terror. Surrounding them were six or seven large men armed with knives and clubs, their muscles bulging through their clothes like trained fighters.
At that moment, a foot kicked out toward her. Su Yi’an instinctively dodged, countered with a precise kick that sent the man crashing to the floor, and stepped firmly on his head.
“The pretty boy has some skill,” a man with a jagged scar on his face walked out. He leaned against the iron railing, looking down at Su Yi’an with murderous intent. “But if you move again, these little girls are going to hell with you.”
As he spoke, a lackey behind him pressed a blade against Lan Yin’s throat. Su Yi’an narrowed her eyes and released the man under her foot. Her voice remained cold: “What exactly do you want?”
The scarred man sneered. Looking at the man on the floor, he said ominously, “Xiao Wu, look at you, all that size and you can’t even beat a pretty boy. What use do I have for you?”
The man named Xiao Wu roared, scrambled up, and grabbed a fallen iron pipe, swinging it violently at Su Yi’an’s legs. Su Yi’an looked at the girls held at knifepoint, clenched her fists, and endured it. The blow forced her to her knees.
“Ahhh!” A scream rang out—not from Su Yi’an, but from the System. It was crying in fear: “Host! Are you okay?!”
Another blow landed on her chest. Xiao Wu taunted her: “Get up! Weren’t you tough last night when you beat our brothers? Now you’re just a limp shrimp?” He saw her phone, snatched it away, and smashed it into the ground, shattering the screen.
Su Yi’an broke into a cold sweat, her vision swimming. The blow to her chest caused her to cough up a mouthful of blood.
“Is there a way to protect Lan Yin and the others from the knives?” Su Yi’an asked, gritting her teeth against the pain.
“Don’t die, Host! If you die, I get deleted too!” the System sobbed frantically. “Yes, yes! For 10 points, I can guarantee the knives won’t touch them.”
Su Yi’an: “…Exchange it.”
She had calculated the risks before coming. These were just ordinary thugs, cohorts of the drunks from the previous night, seeking revenge.
The System stopped crying: “10 points deducted. Current points: 50. Please wait one minute, Host.”
Xiao Wu raised the pipe to strike Su Yi’an’s head, but the scarred man stopped him. “That’s enough. A lesson is fine, don’t kill her.” He only wanted to teach them a lesson, not commit murder.
Su Yi’an relaxed her fists. If that pipe had come down on her head, she would have had to fight back, hoping the thugs wouldn’t use their knives within that minute. For now, the lives of her “niece” and the others were the priority.
“You beat our brothers last night. It’s only fair you pay for medical bills and mental distress. Pay up, and I’ll let you go,” the scarred man said with a smirk.
Su Yi’an’s eyes flickered. These men clearly didn’t know Lan Yin was a member of the elite Lan family. If they did, they wouldn’t have dared—or they would have asked for much more than medical bills. But then, what happened to the bodyguards?
As she thought, a sharp sting pierced the side of her neck. Su Yi’an looked down to see Xiao Wu injecting a vial of crimson liquid into her body.
Needle. A thick, terrifying needle.
Su Yi’an’s hair stood on end, and her body began to tremble uncontrollably. Xiao Wu, seeing her fear, gloated: “I can’t stand pretty boys like you. Let me help you out.”
Su Yi’an didn’t hear a word he said. Her mind was filled with the image of the needle. Without Sister Grape by her side, the pain in her chest grew suffocating. She felt like she was going to faint.
Suddenly, a scream snapped her back to reality. On the second floor, the men were moving toward Lan Yin with ill intent. The scarred man reached out to touch her, but suddenly found his movements were abnormally slow.
He realized too late: this was mental suppression. A rich scent of wine flooded the warehouse, miraculously soothing the terrified Omegas. It was Su Yi’an.
“Beat her!” the scarred man yelled at the only S-Class male Alpha among them. That man was less affected and rushed down the stairs with a knife.
The other men held their blades to the girls’ throats. “Don’t move if you want them to live!”
37, 36, 35… 3, 2, 1.
The moment the System signaled “Complete,” Su Yi’an used a nearby ladder to vault to the second floor. With a flurry of punches and kicks, she took down the men near Lan Yin before the S-Class Alpha could even react. By the time he turned around, he was on the ground groaning like the rest.
“Wait!” The scarred man dragged his broken leg back, holding a knife to Lan Yin. “Don’t come closer or I’ll kill her!”
“Bah! Men who bully women are trash!” the System spat. “Don’t be afraid, Host! The knife won’t hurt her.”
Su Yi’an smiled coldly and stepped hard on the scarred man’s broken leg, grinding it. “Go ahead,” she said indifferently.
Just then, sirens wailed in the distance. Enraged, the scarred man tried to stab Lan Yin. “You called the police?! Die! Everyone die!”
However, the blade inexplicably slipped, plunging into the scarred man’s own shoulder instead.
Ten minutes later, the police burst in. “Don’t move! Hands up!”
The warehouse was a strange sight: the victims were unharmed and chatting, while the kidnappers were all on the floor wailing. Even the veteran officers were stunned.
“Lan Yin…” Lan Yan had been worried sick. Seeing her niece safe, she sighed in relief, but her brow furrowed. This was reckless.
“Little Aunt,” Lan Yin walked over obediently.
Medical staff immediately approached to check on everyone. They focused on Su Yi’an, whose shirt was stained with blood. However, the sight of the medics triggered her phobia. Her body began to shake violently.
“Little Aunt, Senior Su saved us!” Lan Yin said urgently. “She’s hurt, and they injected her with some unknown drug. Help her!”
“No, no, no…” Su Yi’an backed away as the medics tried to touch her.
Lan Yan’s eyes darkened. She stepped forward and caught Su Yi’an before she could fall. “You’re hurt. Let the doctor look at you,” she said with suppressed anger.
Su Yi’an turned and clung to Lan Yan like a lifeline. “Sister, I’m not going to the hospital. I’m fine.”
She was terrified. A check-up meant more needles. Lan Yin watched them, confused. Why does Senior Su seem so fragile in front of my aunt? She decided it was just because her aunt’s aura was so powerful that everyone felt small in comparison.
