Chapter 21: Wanting Him to Cry Hard
“Then… do you want to take a bite?”
The Omega’s clear, soft voice sounded like an innocent little rabbit unaware of the danger, extending an inviting little paw toward the big bad wolf who wanted to swallow him whole, causing the wolf’s last shreds of logic to crumble.
Pant— pant— Huo Yan heard his own breath growing heavier and heavier. The veins on his forehead bulged menacingly, and he gripped the boy’s slender white wrists until they turned red.
“Chu-chu…” He murmured as he leaned in, his scorching breath spraying over Xu Jingchu’s face and lips. “Chu-chu…”
“Huo Yan,” Xu Jingchu observed the emotional changes on the man’s face seriously, feeling a bit worried. “Are you in a lot of pain?”
The hard object pressing against him made him feel somewhat uncomfortable.
Huo Yan couldn’t help but bury his head in the crook of the boy’s neck, following the enticing, fresh scent of narcissus all the way to its source. “Yes, I’m in a lot of pain…”
When he left the house this morning, he had clearly injected an Alpha suppressant. Yet it seemed that no matter how many vials he used, the moment the boy leaked even a tiny hint of that narcissus fragrance, his mind became filled with nothing but thoughts of pinning him down, crushing him into his own body, doing excessive things to him, marking him deeply, and making him cry hard.
These thoughts were like an addictive poison; once they appeared, they were impossible to shake.
“Chu-chu, I really want to…”
The man’s voice was so incredibly raspy that Xu Jingchu couldn’t hear him clearly. “What did you say?”
Huo Yan suddenly flipped him over, his burning thin lips pressing against the back of his neck, searching urgently.
In an instant, Xu Jingchu remembered the scene in the art room where he was pinned against the sink. Rows of goosebumps broke out across his arms, and his usually calm voice involuntarily carried a slight tremor: “Huo Yan, you… bite a little lighter…”
He was actually very afraid of pain.
In his past life, he was terrified every time he had to get an injection, but he didn’t want his parents to worry. So, he would always pretend not to be afraid, then secretly reward himself with a piece of candy as comfort afterward.
To some extent, Xu Jingchu wasn’t a “strong” person—he was even a bit pampered—but he was very good at soothing himself and finding happiness.
Just like now.
Coming to find Huo Yan meant he was already mentally prepared to be bitten. Even though he knew it would hurt, he still came, because a gentle friend like Huo Yan was worth it.
Huo Yan never considered himself a saint; he had no way of resisting the continuous invitations from the Omega in his heart.
The boy only told him to be lighter; he didn’t tell him to get lost. What was that if not an invitation?
The soft body of the Omega in his arms was trembling slightly, but this failed to evoke any pity from the Alpha on the brink of losing control. Instead, it triggered the innate, intense possessiveness within the Alpha’s genes.
The Alpha’s sharp canine teeth looked even colder under the office lights as they sank into the Omega’s delicate gland without hindrance.
“Nng—” Xu Jingchu’s whole body jolted. His hands tried to grab onto something, but the man’s long fingers slid domineeringly between his own, clutching his hands tightly against the sofa.
A sensation that felt like both discomfort and pleasure washed over him again. He was pinned so firmly to the sofa that he couldn’t move an inch—nor did he have the strength to. Physiological tears soon overflowed from the corners of his eyes.
The fresh scent of narcissus and the briny breath of the ocean erupted within the office, instantly becoming inextricably entwined.
“Chu-chu… my Chu-chu…” the man murmured hoarsely in a trance, withdrawing his fangs to gently lick the bleeding wound around the gland.
“Whimper—” Xu Jingchu shuddered again, soft whimpers and shallow groans escaping his throat. His helpless appearance was truly pitiable.
Huo Yan licked the blood clean, his reason gradually returning. He flipped the boy back around to hold him tightly face-to-face.
Xu Jingchu knew it was over, but he really didn’t have the strength to push the other man away. His back was pressed against the sofa, his face tilted up as he panted heavily.
He was actually a bit puzzled. It was clearly just a bite, so why did he feel as if he’d just run ten kilometers every time? However, he hadn’t fainted this time, which seemed like an improvement.
Xu Jingchu thought, finding humor in his misery.
“What are you smiling at?” It wasn’t until the man’s raspy but sexy voice vibrated against his eardrums that Xu Jingchu realized he was actually smiling.
He twitched his fingers. “Nothing.” He realized his voice was also hoarse as soon as he spoke.
Huo Yan hovered over him, his deep eyes tracing the boy’s exquisite features without blinking. It turned out there really were people who became more lovable the more you looked at them.
Huo Yan felt he had completely fallen for the boy, and he was more than happy to do so.
Xu Jingchu recovered a bit of strength and gently pushed the man weighing on him. “Can you let me up now?”
Even though he was willing to let Huo Yan bite him, maintaining this posture between two grown men was still a bit strange.
A flush of crimson stained the corners of the boy’s eyes, and the mole under his eye bloomed like a gorgeous red rose, captivating and soul-stirring.
Huo Yan didn’t move. Although the pheromones in his body had settled down, his physical reaction remained. His fingertips couldn’t help but stroke the crimson corner of the boy’s eye.
Xu Jingchu felt a bit ticklish and instinctively dodged his head to the side. Huo Yan’s eyes darkened slightly, and his fingertips followed.
With nowhere to hide, Xu Jingchu could only beg softly for mercy: “Huo Yan, it tickles…”
Huo Yan’s fingertips, however, stubbornly continued to caress that crimson corner.
He didn’t even realize his actions were a bit childish.
Xu Jingchu felt a bit helpless. He licked his lips and changed the subject: “Huo Yan, I’m a little thirsty.”
Huo Yan’s deep gaze swept over the plain water on the coffee table, which had already cooled down, then turned back to look at the tip of the tongue that was unconsciously licking his lips.
In an instant, a picture flashed through his mind.
The beautiful boy, clothes dishevelled, pinned to the sofa by him, his exquisite face covered in helpless tear stains, fresh hickeys on his exposed collarbones, crying out his name over and over again.
And while admiring this beautiful scenery, he would lean down to hook the boy’s little tongue with his own, then mischievously pass the water from his mouth into the boy’s, bit by bit.
The boy would then flush crimson from choking because he couldn’t swallow in time.
That scene was truly beautiful.
“Huo Yan?” The boy’s voice shifted from a fantasy back to reality.
Huo Yan sat up and took the water glass. After a pause, he held it out to the boy.
Xu Jingchu didn’t take the glass immediately; instead, he propped himself up on the sofa to sit up. He didn’t notice the flash of darkness in the man’s eyes.
When Xu Jingchu said he was thirsty earlier, it wasn’t entirely to change the subject. Perhaps because he was nervous when being bitten, his throat really was a bit dry.
Just as he reached out to take the glass, the man tilted his hand, bringing the glass directly to the boy’s lips.
Xu Jingchu froze for a moment, looking up at the man.
Huo Yan’s gaze didn’t waver, and his tone was normal: “I failed to control my strength just now. I should make it up to you.”
In other words, Huo Yan wanted to feed him water… to apologize?
