There was a reason he had hired that specific teacher; the instructor was known as one of the best in the industry. Chu Jingtian hoped that under such leadership, Su Jingyang would become powerful enough to overcome any difficulty. He walked over to Su Jingyang and playfully pinched his cheek. “Good brother, now that I have joined the industry, I will definitely work hard.” Su Jingyang’s radiant smile met Chu Jingtian’s eyes. Chu Jingtian was so satisfied that he reached out and patted Su Jingyang’s back.

“As long as you work hard now, you will be rewarded in the future.” He was not joking. He truly believed that if Su Jingyang stayed dedicated, he would achieve great things. Looking at Su Jingyang’s smile, Chu Jingtian wore the same expression.

He called Su Jingyang into a small private room, looking at him seriously. “Do you know why I called you in here?”

Su Jingyang looked at him with confusion, wondering why Chu Jingtian was being so formal. Chu Jingtian could not help but smile and pinch Su Jingyang’s cheek again.

“If you do not know, then let me tell you. Congratulations! You can begin to officially accept acting roles!”

Su Jingyang stared at him in disbelief. He never expected to hear this so soon. He had been working so hard for months, never knowing when he would finally be ready to work. Hearing that he was now qualified to act brought a massive smile to his face. He was so excited he did not know how to contain his emotions.

“Brother, thank you.” Su Jingyang was deeply moved, looking at Chu Jingtian with wide eyes.

Chu Jingtian sighed at how touched the boy was and patted his back. “Alright, do not be so surprised. I am telling you now: pull yourself together. Do not let your emotions get the best of you.”

He spoke with a smile, slowly calming Su Jingyang down. He could see that Su Jingyang was overwhelmed with excitement.

“I did not expect you to be this happy just to start acting.” It was true; he had not realized how much this meant to him. But seeing his brother this happy brought him a sense of satisfaction. “Now that your acting has shown results, is there anything you want to say?”

Chu Jingtian looked at him curiously.

“Brother, I want to say that I would like to treat you to dinner. To celebrate the fact that I can finally take on roles.”

Su Jingyang looked at him tentatively, wondering if he would agree. Hearing such a simple request, Chu Jingtian’s face lit up with a smile.

“That request is way too simple. Of course, I can fulfill it!” Chu Jingtian beamed at him.

Su Jingyang looked at him, still a bit dazed by the confirmation. He was so thrilled he could not find the words to express himself. Chu Jingtian felt a touch of helplessness looking at the young man, seeing him so overjoyed over something so small. He stood up, walked to Su Jingyang’s side, and patted his back.

“Regardless, the results of your hard work have truly impressed me!”

Hearing the praise, Su Jingyang looked away shyly, unsure of how to face his brother’s approval.
