The Aloof CEO’s Hidden Temptation - Chapter 30
Compensation… Fu Chaoying’s throat moved slightly as she gazed at her, her eyes rippling like spring water, seemingly a silent invitation.
Ye Jiayuan smiled briefly, her thumb brushing over the other’s lower lip. She tilted her head to press her nose against Fu’s, the heat of her breath puffing ambiguously against her face. “Hmm?”
As their breaths mingled, Fu Chaoying clung to her shoulders and lightly rubbed their noses together. “How does Sister want to be compensated?”
She elongated the end of the sentence, adding a hint of coyness that suggested something provocative.
Fu Chaoying looked into her eyes. Even though Ye Jiayuan was holding her, speaking flirtatiously and acting intimately, her gaze remained calm and deep, always maintaining a shred of logic and sobriety.
Fu Chaoying thought that perhaps it wasn’t ambiguous enough yet. With her mind made up, she leaned forward proactively, intending to kiss the lips so close to hers, only to see Ye Jiayuan tilt her head to the right, dodging the proactive kiss like a game of hide and seek.
Fu Chaoying caught her cheek unexpectedly, the soft sensation was gone in an instant, leaving a small pang of disappointment in her heart.
Fu Chaoying wrapped her arms around her neck and leaned in close, calling softly, “Sister?”
There was an indescribable sense of disappointment and grievance in her voice.
Ye Jiayuan turned back but didn’t respond directly, merely brushing her fingertips against her, teasing her seemingly without intent.
But this lack of specific meaning made Ye Jiayuan even more alluring.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t suppress her breathing, which grew slightly ragged. She instinctively hooked her arms around the other’s neck, nuzzling her cheek like a kitten. “Sister…”
Only then did Ye Jiayuan lean toward her lips again, the darkness in her eyes deepening as she coaxed in a low voice, “Hmm? What do you want?”
Fu Chaoying didn’t take the lead to kiss her again, merely stroking the skin on the back of her neck, which was delicate and soft.
Feeling the smooth lines under her palm and the slight protrusion of the vertebrae, Fu Chaoying felt her heart beating faster and faster.
Then, she tilted her head back slightly, her breath like orchids as she whispered, “I want Sister to… kiss…”
Before Fu Chaoying could finish her sentence, her lips were suddenly blocked.
The air seemed to thin instantly, as if all sounds in the world had vanished, leaving only the sound of their rapid breathing.
Fu Chaoying’s ragged breathing turned into soft pants, and those hands gripped tighter, as if trying to rub her into her very blood and bone.
The numbing sensation on the tip of her tongue spread throughout her body. Fu Chaoying tightened her hold around her neck, involuntarily wanting to press closer, wanting to explore deeper.
In that moment, the tip of Fu Chaoying’s tongue was sucked hard, and then Ye Jiayuan did not limit herself to that small space, beginning to explore elsewhere.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t help but let out a soft moan: “Mm…”
As she voiced her desire to hold her tighter, she felt the other’s fingers suddenly stop, as if intentionally teasing her.
The tongue that had been sucked to the point of numbness was also gently released by Ye Jiayuan.
Fu Chaoying snapped back to her senses, realizing she might have been too proactive.
She looked up at Ye Jiayuan blankly. In the moment their eyes met, she saw a flicker of other colors in Ye’s gaze, though it wasn’t very obvious.
Fu Chaoying was about to explain, but the words caught in her throat as Ye Jiayuan looked down to straighten the hem of her pajamas.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t help but feel annoyed with herself, was she being too impatient?
Someone as steady and self-controlled as Ye Jiayuan naturally wouldn’t do every intimate thing with her when they had been dating for less than a month…
Fu Chaoying released her neck and simply stayed quietly in her embrace, feeling their heartbeats.
Ye Jiayuan held her quietly. Her gaze accidentally swept across a certain slightly hardened point visible through the thin pajamas, and her breathing quickened by a fraction. She unnaturally looked away and asked in a deep voice, “Where are you sleeping tonight?”
Ye Jiayuan’s voice carried a faint rasp, which was inexplicably heart-tugging.
Fu Chaoying told herself internally: Be reserved.
She put her feet on the floor, wanting to get down from the embrace, but was held back by the other’s hands. Then, a low voice came near her ear, seemingly with a hint of seduction: “You haven’t answered me yet.”
Fu Chaoying looked up at her. “Back… to my room to sleep.”
As soon as she spoke, those hands released her. Fu Chaoying felt a wave of loss for no reason.
But since she had said it, Fu Chaoying stepped out of the lingering fragrance of the other’s warmth, not daring to look into her eyes.
“Then I’m going,” Fu Chaoying said, turning to leave with slightly disorganized footsteps.
As she turned, Ye Jiayuan noticed the red mark on her neck that she had just left there, a flash of depth crossing her eyes.
Fu Chaoying was almost at the door when she heard a series of rapid footsteps behind her, getting closer and closer. Then her wrist was grabbed, and she was once again pulled into an embrace without a word.
“What about the goodnight kiss?” Ye Jiayuan hugged her from behind, her chin resting on her shoulder, her tone carrying a hint of undetectable tenderness.
The soft sensation of those two mounds against her back was so obvious that Fu Chaoying’s heart skipped a beat, and her mind went blank.
Fu Chaoying took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. She turned around to face her, tilting her head up obediently, waiting for the kiss.
Instead, she saw Ye Jiayuan look down and kiss her neck again.
Fu Chaoying’s heart raced again, and she felt her whole body go soft. But this kiss was light and ticklish, like the touch of a feather.
Her breathing became rapid again, she couldn’t help but arch her chest and reach up, sliding her fingers into the other’s hair, wanting her to kiss lower.
However, Ye Jiayuan suddenly let go of her, looking into her eyes. She tilted her head and kissed her lips, a brief touch like a dragonfly skimming the water.
Fu Chaoying calmed her breathing in the embrace, hearing the other’s slightly rapid breath near her ear.
She looked up at her, only to see Ye Jiayuan’s eyes were clear, the blurriness nearly hidden away.
Sister is always cold and restrained.
Fu Chaoying stepped out of her embrace and whispered, “Goodnight, Sister.”
“Goodnight.”
Fu Chaoying walked back to her bedroom, her mind playing back the previous events like a movie.
Ye Jiayuan’s cold exterior versus her burning kisses… for a moment, Fu Chaoying felt confused.
As if by intuition, Fu Chaoying looked down at her pajamas, only to realize that certain shapes were clearly visible under the thin fabric.
A sense of shame exploded in Fu Chaoying’s mind, making her cheeks heat up.
Did Ye Jiayuan stop suddenly because she saw this? Is she more conservative and didn’t want things to progress so fast?
Fu Chaoying recalled their previous intimate behaviors. Ye Jiayuan always seemed rational, keeping a proper distance while being intimate at the right times. Only in very few situations did she show possessiveness.
Like today, because they had no chance to be alone all day, she pulled her onto her lap at night.
Fu Chaoying took another shower in the bathroom, but it didn’t clear her thoughts, instead, they grew more intense.
The night passed peacefully, but Fu Chaoying woke up startled from a dream.
In the dead of night, images of Ye Jiayuan flashed through her mind, including scenes of intimacy…
Fu Chaoying felt her cheeks burning. She closed her eyes and spent a long time trying to fall back into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Fu Chaoying was predictably woken up by her eldest aunt.
Fu Anjun sat on the sofa outside the bedroom of Fu Chaoying and Fu Chaohua, sipping tea. She spoke leisurely, “You two sisters really need to learn from your Sister Jiayuan. Look how disciplined she is.”
“Look at you two, staying up all night and not waking up during the day. If this continues, what will happen to your health?”
Fu Chaoying glanced at the time, it was only 7:30…
Resigned, she got up and washed. When she saw the dark red mark in the mirror, she froze.
The scenes from last night flashed back suddenly, playing on a loop in her mind like a movie, refusing to go away.
Fu Chaoying instinctively touched her lips and neck, as if she could still feel Ye Jiayuan’s teeth and lips, and that heart-palpitating heat.
But her aunt’s lecturing voice from outside reached her ears again, breaking her train of thought.
Fu Chaoying immediately took out concealer from her bag and tightly covered the hickey.
After tidying up, she took a deep breath to make herself look as calm as usual before pushing open the door.
Following her aunt downstairs, she saw Ye Jiayuan having tea in the courtyard with Auntie Chu, looking natural as if nothing had happened last night.
Seeing her figure, Fu Chaoying felt even more unnatural.
Ye Jiayuan noticed her arrival and fixed her gaze on Fu Chaoying for a moment. Seeing no marks on her neck, she discreetly withdrew her gaze and spoke in a deep voice, “I’ll return to Hong Kong after lunch.”
Fu Chaoying’s heart skipped a beat, but it was the eldest aunt who spoke first: “Why are you leaving so soon?”
Chu Yiyun snorted with a bit of resentment: “It’s because I annoyed her with questions, so she’s going back for some peace and quiet.”
Fu Anjun smiled to smooth things over. “Oh, it’s only natural for a mother to ask about a partner. If Xiao Yuan reveals a little, your mom will feel more at ease.”
Fu Chaoying sat down next to Fu Chaohua, her gaze quietly sweeping over to Ye Jiayuan. She saw the other’s expression darken slightly. “When the time is right, I will naturally bring them to see you.”
Chu Yiyun glared, frustrated but helpless. She could only complain, “Suit yourself. I won’t worry about it anymore.”
“That works out well,” Ye Jiayuan said casually, as if it didn’t concern her.
Chu Yiyun took several deep breaths to recover. She waved her hand and complained to Fu Anjun: “Tell me… with this personality of hers, can she even find a partner?”
