- Chapter 18 - Little Qin’s Slip-up, The First Clues Emerge
For the entire night, Bo Liye felt as though she were completely alone, even while standing in the center of a crowd.
When she forcibly pressed Qin Mingyan’s lips against her collarbone, that soft, delicate kiss didn’t just overwrite the lingering breath of that stalker, it filled the void of Bo Liye’s loneliness.
So what if her parents didn’t have the energy to spare for her?
As long as she beckoned, no matter the time, Qin Mingyan was hers to do with as she pleased.
Clear, warm water wetted Qin Mingyan’s long hair once more. Her pinned down nape gradually turned a shade of pink under the pressure, even the sounds coming from her mouth dissolved into indistinct splashes of water.
Qin Mingyan had always been old-fashioned, innocent, and easy to tease. Just by being pressed against a collarbone, she lost track of the shower’s flow and soon began to cough from choking on the water.
She trembled slightly, and even her jade-white ears turned pink.
A wicked thought surfaced in Bo Liye’s mind. While holding down Qin Mingyan’s neck, she lowered her head to lick the other girl’s earlobe. “Qin Mingyan, did you choke?”
“How could you be so careless?”
She nipped down with her teeth, her tone growing more malicious. “How can you choke without my permission? I haven’t even let you stick your tongue out yet. If you’re choking now, what are you going to do later?”
“Open your mouth. You’ll get used to it if you practice more.”
As Bo Liye spoke, her other hand climbed up Qin Mingyan’s back, patting it gently as if to soothe her.
Once Qin Mingyan’s coughing subsided, Bo Liye traced her hand along the neck to the chin, pinching her cheek and forcing her to take the collarbone into her mouth.
That stalker had been leaning against her back earlier, and their breath had fallen right around her collarbone, it needed cleaning the most.
Only after Qin Mingyan had covered the stalker’s scent on the left side did Bo Liye turn her toward the right collarbone.
She let out a short laugh. “Here too.”
Qin Mingyan could only comply.
She seemed to be afraid, whenever her kissing slowed down, Bo Liye would pinch her face to force her mouth wider. Before long, her naturally pale lips were as crimson as a ripe pomegranate.
It was then that Bo Liye established the new rules.
“From now on at school, you are to stay with me at all times.”
“After school, you must walk me to the parking lot before you can go to your dorm.”
“You have to follow me during the weekends too. If you have competition classes, you must tell me the exact time in advance.”
She would not give that stalker another chance to be alone with her.
“Do you hear me?”
When she arrived at Qin Mingyan’s home, Bo Liye hadn’t shown any outward signs of abnormality. However, whether it was her frantic psychological need to erase the traces or her restrictive control over Qin Mingyan, she had exposed the depths of her fear to her.
Qin Mingyan’s gaze gradually darkened.
Her lips were pressed so tightly that she could clearly feel the pulse of the blood vessels beneath Bo Liye’s collarbone. That clean, beautiful collarbone would leave a faint red mark with just a gentle suck.
So tender.
So tender it made her teeth itch.
She wanted to bite down, to grind against it properly.
Hours ago in that stall, she hadn’t truly touched Bo Liye’s neck, she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to stop. More importantly…
She knew Bo Liye too well. If she had truly offended her then, even with just a kiss on the collarbone, Bo Liye would have likely fought to the death. She would have stopped caring about the consequences and would have hunted her down even at the risk of her family finding out.
But right now, Qin Mingyan finally had a reason to taste her to her heart’s content. Following Bo Liye’s orders, she bit by bit “washed away” the scent she herself had left there from the slender neck to the collarbone, down to the shoulder where the square collared sleeve had once rested.
The temperature in the bathroom rose higher and higher. Nearly thirty minutes of washing had steamed the mirror into a hazy fog, concealing everything.
Under the showerhead, Qin Mingyan and Bo Liye each harbored their own thoughts. They allowed the water to soak them completely, yet neither moved to remove the other’s clothes, as if this could hide the most secret intentions in their hearts.
Qin Mingyan thought this was where it would end.
However, when Bo Liye released her neck and stopped restraining her, her mood seemed to have mostly recovered. The gloom in her eyes vanished, replaced by her usual haughty and composed demeanor.
Bo Liye lifted her chin, coaxing her to open her lips again. “I’ll give you a reward.”
Qin Mingyan whispered timidly, “What?”
“Just do as you’re told.” Bo Liye’s thumb rubbed against the corner of Qin Mingyan’s mouth, looking very much like she would force it open if she didn’t comply.
Qin Mingyan could only half-heartedly obey. Feeling Bo Liye’s kiss, she closed her eyes again, her quickening breath being the only thing revealing how she was swayed by Bo Liye’s emotions.
She heard Bo Liye’s playful command: “Open your mouth a bit wider.”
So, clutching the edge of her own shirt, Qin Mingyan opened her mouth slightly more, allowing Bo Liye to kiss deeper.
Bo Liye became dissatisfied again. “Hands. Lift them up and hold me.”
Qin Mingyan raised her hands to embrace her, but this time it was Bo Liye’s prank. As Qin Mingyan lifted her arms, Bo Liye’s hands wrapped around her.
As those hot palms rubbed against her spine, they moved with a mischievous intent, it felt like a caress, but more like lighting a fire. Even though she had been hugged like this countless times before, a sudden surge of numbness rose from her spine, causing Qin Mingyan to shudder uncontrollably.
Clearly, her reaction was caught by Bo Liye.
Bo Liye’s wicked voice sounded between their touching lips: “Top student, you’re so innocent. You can’t handle even this?”
Qin Mingyan tried to argue, but her lips were completely blocked by Bo Liye.
Bo Liye’s hand moved to Qin Mingyan’s waist. She didn’t even need to be taught, by following Qin Mingyan’s reactions, she was becoming more and more skilled.
Qin Mingyan’s whole body gradually tensed up. The sound of the shower became increasingly muffled until she heard the low, husky laughter in Bo Liye’s voice again: “Why are you trembling so pitifully?”
“Don’t…”
“Open your eyes and look at me.”
Qin Mingyan opened her eyes and met Bo Liye’s gaze. At this moment, it felt as if there were no barriers between them, their pupils held only each other’s reflection.
But she knew she and Bo Liye were not the same. In this tiny space, she was the only one whose body was truly stirred.
Qin Mingyan allowed herself to look at Bo Liye with near obsessive infatuation for a second, then two… until the fifth second, reaching the limit before Bo Liye might get suspicious. She steeled herself and suddenly pushed Bo Liye away.
The momentum caused Qin Mingyan to hit the wet, slippery tiles behind her, and she lost her footing, falling downward.
Bo Liye hurriedly reached out. “Careful”
“Ugh…”
The moment her knee hit the floor tiles, Qin Mingyan grabbed the shower shelf with one hand. Although it lessened the impact, her knee still turned red from the hit.
She huddled against the wall. When Bo Liye reached out to help her again, she flinched back in fear.
If this had been before, Bo Liye would have been angry at Qin Mingyan’s two rejections. But right now, her mood wasn’t affected at all, in fact, as Qin Mingyan trembled slightly, Bo Liye’s sense of pleasure reached its peak.
Qin Mingyan’s skin was naturally pale, and after the long shower, it was flushed a rosy white. Although the T-shirt covered most of her body, once it was soaked through, it was an entirely different picture.
As Qin Mingyan lowered her head to rub her knee, even her knuckles were a pinkish-white.
Bo Liye licked her lips, feeling her throat go dry. The kiss from earlier couldn’t compare to the visual impact of this moment.
Clearly, she had only intended for Qin Mingyan to help her bathe and to spend a quiet night together. But at this moment, Bo Liye began to despise herself.
However, despite the self-loathing, Bo Liye’s eyes never left Qin Mingyan from her swollen, kissed lips to her loose collar, down to her bent legs that the T-shirt couldn’t hide.
“What do you mean ‘don’t’? I’m just kissing you. What did you think I was going to do?” Bo Liye helped Qin Mingyan up from the floor with extreme tenderness.
The sound of Qin Mingyan’s fall hadn’t been heavy, but her skin was so pale that a red mark quickly appeared on her knee. Her legs were shaking as she walked, making her look unsteady.
Bo Liye grabbed a dry towel hanging on the wall, stuffed it into Qin Mingyan’s hand, then leaned down and picked her up.
For a high schooler who usually just drank milk tea after running laps in PE, she was a bit heavy.
She could manage a few steps if she gritted her teeth.
Fortunately, Qin Mingyan’s home wasn’t large. After walking out of the bathroom, Bo Liye asked, “Where is your room?”
Qin Mingyan pointed to the unlit room on the left, her head hanging very low. “Over there.”
Bo Liye carried her into the room and placed her on the bed. Her back nearly gave out, and she had to bite back a breath before straightening up again. “Where is your wardrobe? Give me some clothes to change into.”
She glanced at Qin Mingyan’s soaked T-shirt and added, “You should change too.”
Wearing soaked clothes after leaving the shower was miserable. Bo Liye didn’t wait for Qin Mingyan to point out the wardrobe, she walked over to the only one there and grabbed some clothes.
Returning to the bathroom, Bo Liye no longer felt the psychological urge to wash away the stalker’s marks. Whether on her shoulders or near her ears, Qin Mingyan’s scent lingered. She squeezed out some body wash.
It seemed to be the exact same scent that the stalker had today. She specifically turned the bottle around and saw it was a very cheap brand, one that had been a popular supermarket item since she was a child.
This type of body wash sold very well. Bo Liye had smelled it on many people before, but none had smelled as good as it did on Qin Mingyan.
Bo Liye dried herself off, changed into Qin Mingyan’s long-sleeved T-shirt, and went to find her while drying her hair.
Qin Mingyan had already finished tidying herself up, and her hair was nearly dry. Seeing Bo Liye enter, she handed over the hair dryer. “Do you want to dry it here or in front of the bathroom mirror?”
This hair dryer looked three or four times larger than the one at Bo Liye’s house and seemed very heavy. It likely didn’t have a hair-protection function, she wondered how Qin Mingyan kept her hair so smooth.
Could it be that, like her body’s development, it was a natural gift?
At that thought, Bo Liye ran her tongue over her teeth, feeling a bit restless again.
She took the dryer and asked, “I’ll do it here. Can you walk on that knee?”
“It’s fine, I can walk.” Qin Mingyan was never one to act delicate.
Bo Liye glanced down, there was no obvious bruising on the knee yet. She plugged in the dryer, but before turning it on, she said something to Qin Mingyan and then started drying.
Qin Mingyan seemed stunned, taking a few seconds to react before searching through the wardrobe.
Bo Liye’s gaze followed her back until Qin Mingyan slowly walked back. Then, she nonchalantly continued drying the other side of her hair.
