Xie Jin’s arrival at the set was entirely unannounced. He appeared in the studio so abruptly that it caused an immediate sensation.

“It’s the real Xie Jin! He’s so handsome!”

“Seriously! His skin is flawless. I wonder what his skincare routine is.”

“Why is he here? Whose visit is he here for?”

For his final tour performance, Xie Jin had dyed his hair a light brown. His bangs currently rested obediently against his forehead, making him look several years younger. His fox-like eyes curved upward at the corners, and a wicked, charming smirk played on his lips as he began to radiate charisma. The fangirls in the studio were practically screaming, wishing they could stick themselves to him.

A group of Xie Jin’s fans stood in the rest area, chatting excitedly and buzzing with energy at the sight of their idol.

“Xie Jin? Why is he here?”

Xu Chi was the only one who heard the news and felt immediate panic. He frantically looked for a place to hide. There was no other reason than the fact that Xu Chi was currently wearing women’s clothing—a lavender-colored long dress complete with silk ribbons!

Due to the requirements of the script, Xu Chi’s character had scenes that necessitated cross-dressing. Official filming was set for the afternoon, so Director Jiang had him try on the wardrobe during the lunch break to ensure the fit and minimize production delays.

However, he never imagined Xie Jin would show up right now. It would have been fine if Xie Jin had seen it on television after the drama aired, but seeing it in person like this? There was no telling how much he would tease him.

Xu Chi practically buried himself behind Lin Tao, trying to escape Xie Jin’s line of sight. He could only hope that Xie Jin wouldn’t spot him and would head to the hotel to wait for him instead.

As he watched Xie Jin’s approaching footsteps, Xu Chi almost shoved his face into Lin Tao’s bag.

“Yo, Chi-Chi.”

Xie Jin spotted Xu Chi almost instantly. Even though Xu Chi had his head buried in Lin Tao’s arms, Xie Jin plucked him out by the collar.

Xu Chi’s face was now a brilliant, embarrassed red. He kept his eyes tightly shut, his long, curled eyelashes trembling slightly and casting shifting shadows on his cheeks. Due to his nervous breathing, his nostrils flared slightly, making him look incredibly cute. His lips were painted with a light red lipstick, parted slightly in a way that felt oddly tempting.

Xie Jin pinched Xu Chi’s cheek and gave it a tug, letting out a gasp of wonder. “Chi-Chi, you look so pretty in a little dress!”

I knew this would happen!

Xu Chi completely gave up his resistance, letting Xie Jin mush his face around however he pleased.

“Chi-Chi, you should wear women’s clothes for me in the future too.” Xie Jin looked as though he had discovered a new world, unable to take his hands off Xu Chi’s face.

“No!” Xu Chi refused without a second thought. “I’m only wearing this because it’s required for the scene. Don’t even think about forcing me!”

Xu Chi had fair, supple skin. Dressed in women’s clothing, he looked even more beautiful than many actresses, despite being a bit tall and flat-chested.

When Xie Jin heard the refusal, he immediately wrapped his arms around Xu Chi’s waist and started acting spoiled.

“Come on, Xu Chi. My darling Chi-Chi, just agree to it.” As Xie Jin held him, he thought privately to himself: Chi-Chi’s waist is so thin.

Normally, Xu Chi was most vulnerable to Xie Jin’s pouting. When Xie Jin furrowed his brows and looked at you with watery eyes while biting his lower lip—looking like he was being severely bullied—it was hard to say no. Usually, the moment he acted like this, Xu Chi would agree to anything.

But this time, Xu Chi didn’t even look at Xie Jin. He turned his head away and kept his eyes shut. “No.”

“Good Chi-Chi, just wear one more for me. I’ll prepare an outfit for you, just one. I’ll just take a few photos and that’s it.”

Hearing this, Xu Chi was even less inclined to agree. Knowing Xie Jin’s taste and his mischievous nature, the outfit he prepared would definitely not be anything a normal person would wear. Who knew how much skin it would show?

Furthermore, because of his unique body, Xu Chi was even more afraid to agree to Xie Jin’s request.

He tried his best to push Xie Jin away, repeatedly refusing. “I said no, and I mean no.”

Xie Jin remained stuck to Xu Chi like a piece of chewing gum, leaving many of the fans nearby stunned. They had never seen their idol act so clingy and spoiled before.

Just as Xu Chi was about to reach his breaking point from Xie Jin’s pestering, Gu Jingxuan walked over. He grabbed Xie Jin by the back of his collar and pulled him away.

“We need to go over our scenes. Please excuse us.”
