Chapter 106: When Qiao Xi Woke Up, Her Mouth…
When Qiao Xi woke up, her mouth still seemed to carry the scent of roses. Last night, she had been exhausted and lost consciousness again, only to wake up now. She thought about how, ever since she was little, every teacher praised her for being smart, having good grades, and learning everything quickly—she was truly the ideal child. Yet, last night, she had heard the words “failing grade” from Shen Ya.
In that instant, Qiao Xi was so embarrassed she wanted to find a hole to crawl into. Fortunately, though, her hands might have failed, but her mouth did not. Thanks to her tongue, she managed to salvage a bit of face.
Lying on the bed now, she could still see the image of Shen Ya’s softest spot pressed against her lips and tongue, even though Shen Ya was sitting on her face and controlling her strength, not putting her full weight on her.
She remembered seeing Shen Ya hold her hand and teach her how to stroke the body. Whenever her tongue became numb and her cheeks grew sore from licking, Shen Ya would twist her waist, rubbing her mouth and nose with her softest part.
Shen Ya’s hand would also run through her hair, her eyes lowered, looking at her with affection and tenderness. Shen Ya was a good teacher; although she had threatened punishment the moment before, every time Qiao Xi’s tongue swept across that moist area, Shen Ya’s breathing would become ragged, and she would let out enticing moans.
She also remembered lifting Shen Ya’s clothes and seeing Shen Ya’s abdomen contract with each breath, after which the hands intertwined in her hair would press her head down a little tighter.
Even after a night, she could still recall the taste of that slight asphyxiation. Shen Ya’s delicate skin was smooth as jade. While being drenched in floral nectar, she seemed to have swung her palm and smacked Shen Ya’s full buttocks.
When Shen Ya was overwhelmed with passion, her thighs would contract inward. Qiao Xi’s head became the obstacle preventing her from closing her legs. Qiao Xi’s head was clamped by Shen Ya’s thighs. When Qiao Xi sucked again and teased out the sweetness with her tongue, warm fluid splashed onto her face.
Qiao Xi remembered her eyelashes becoming moist. She opened one eye halfway and happened to see the slight curl of Shen Ya’s lips, a captivating smile. With just a slight flutter of her eye, that gaze seemed capable of stealing one’s soul.
Qiao Xi pulled the blanket over her head with both hands, rolled over, and hugged the blanket, taking a deep breath from the side Shen Ya had slept on last night.
Shen Ya’s scent was so sweet, like her antidote, healing the bitterness of her body’s longing over the past two days.
Qiao Xi was still immersed in the sweetness when Shen Ya opened the door and walked in. Seeing a small mound bulging on the bed and shaking slightly, she walked over softly. As soon as her hand touched the small mound, she felt the person under the blanket tremble.
Shen Ya patted the blanket: “Do you want to rest a little longer?”
Qiao Xi poked her head out from under the blanket. Her face was flushed, and her eyes were a little evasive. She just shook her head and said: “No.”
“Then get up. I’ve finished packing. Shall we go out to eat?”
Qiao Xi hadn’t forgotten that she wasn’t wearing clothes right now. Although Shen Ya had already seen everything, she still kept the blanket tightly wrapped around her: “What time is it?”
“It’s almost eleven.” Shen Ya said: “It’s not convenient to bring Eleven to the restaurant, so let’s go back to your place near the university first, drop off my things, eat nearby, and then I’ll take you back to your mother’s place?”
Eleven o’clock?!
Qiao Xi was startled. Just moments ago, she was embarrassed about Shen Ya seeing her naked body. Now, hearing the time, her mind was focused on whether Jiang Yunxi and Qin Shuyuan had noticed she was gone.
She lifted a corner of the blanket to reach for her phone. No unread messages or missed calls. Had her two sisters still not woken up? But the lights were off in their room when she left. Strange.
Regardless, she had to send a message to her two sisters first.
[Sister, I went to Mom’s house.]
“I called your mother when I woke up this morning and told her you snuck out last night and came here.” Shen Ya took clean clothes from the foot of the bed and placed them in front of Qiao Xi: “Your mother said they would cover for you if your two sisters asked.”
“Didn’t my mother say anything else?”
“They seemed to sigh.”
Qiao Xi laughed awkwardly twice. How could they not sigh? She had snuck out of the house several times in the middle of the night, and her destination was always Shen Ya’s place. What could her two mothers say besides sigh?
Since her mothers were covering for her, she didn’t need to worry anymore.
Shen Ya didn’t have much to take anyway, as she had already packed once before. Her suitcase was full of work-related items.
She was going to stay at Grandma’s house for two nights before going to school, so she definitely couldn’t sneak out during these two days.
Despite just waking up, Qiao Xi felt tired again as soon as she arrived at the apartment opposite Jianglan University. After helping Shen Ya clean up the room, she lay lazily on the sofa, unwilling to move.
Shen Ya got her a cup of warm water and placed it on the coffee table. She sat down next to her and caressed her face: “If you’re tired, should we order takeout?”
“Okay.” Qiao Xi held Shen Ya’s hand: “I won’t be able to see Teacher Shen for the next two days while I’m at Grandma’s.”
“It’s okay, it’s only two days.”
Qiao Xi slid down a little, resting her head on Shen Ya’s thigh. She rubbed her face against Shen Ya’s abdomen: “Teacher Shen, I haven’t told Xia Cong’an and Yu Tiantian that we are together yet.”
“Mm.”
“So…”
“So what?” Shen Ya asked her.
Qiao Xi knew her request would be a little unreasonable, so she didn’t dare to look at Shen Ya, instead rubbing Shen Ya’s lower abdomen with her nose: “Before, when I confessed, they both knew I was rejected by Teacher Shen. I haven’t mentioned my own affairs to them recently. If I suddenly announce we are together when school starts, they will definitely pester me with questions.”
“So Xiao Xi wants me to act with you?”
“It’s not exactly acting.” Qiao Xi got up from Shen Ya’s lap and sat up: “Teacher Shen still owes me a confession, and besides, I haven’t said I completely forgive Teacher Shen yet.”
So, even though they had done everything, Qiao Xi hadn’t completely forgiven her? It seemed she hadn’t tried hard enough. Shen Ya replied earnestly: “Alright, then it’s my turn to pursue Xiao Xi now.”
“Teacher Shen really agreed?” Qiao Xi’s earlier nervousness vanished. Her eyes sparkled with fine light, and her affection for Shen Ya was so abundant it seemed to overflow from her skin: “Doesn’t Teacher Shen feel like I’m taking advantage of you? Do you feel wronged? You must tell me whatever you’re thinking, Teacher Shen.”
“I know I’m being a bit difficult…”
“No.” Shen Ya interrupted Qiao Xi, taking both her hands and leaning in to kiss her lips. Shen Ya looked serious, as if she were saying something very important: “I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of, after all, I was the one who took advantage of Xiao Xi last night.”
Qiao Xi: ?!
Qiao Xi felt like she had become an exploding mushroom, a rush of blood surging to her brain. How could Shen Ya say such a shameful thing with such a straight face!
“And I might take advantage of you many more times in the future, so I’m worried that Xiao Xi will feel wronged.”
Shen Ya was about to continue, but Qiao Xi covered her mouth: “Stop talking!” If she kept going, Qiao Xi wouldn’t be able to lift her head.
Qiao Xi regretted what she had just said. If she had a chance to redo it, she definitely wouldn’t have asked Shen Ya to pursue her. How could she have known that Shen Ya would say such inappropriate things with such a calm expression?
“I’m hungry. Have you ordered food? Or should we go out to eat?” She was afraid that if she said anything more, Shen Ya would directly pin her down on the sofa and take advantage of her. She couldn’t let that happen. She was going to Grandma’s house today. Going home with a neck full of hickeys would be mortifying, especially in front of Zhou Ziqian.
Shen Ya pulled down the hand covering her mouth and kissed it: “Mm, let’s go out to eat. It’s getting late, and you still have to go back to pack your luggage.”
The kiss carried Shen Ya’s fervent body temperature, warming Qiao Xi’s heart and making her desperately need cooling down. And wasn’t the biggest iceberg right in front of her? Shen Ya’s rosy, moist lips instantly crashed into her line of sight.
As their eyes met, Shen Ya leaned closer to Qiao Xi. The moment their lips touched, the slightly cool, soft sensation instantly captivated them.
The temperature in the living room rose, and ambiguous sounds filled the apartment. Qiao Xi was pressed down onto the sofa, and her clothes were being stripped off one by one.
Shen Ya bit her collarbone, leaving a hickey that wouldn’t fade anytime soon.
Just as Shen Ya’s hand was about to undo Qiao Xi’s pants, the phone rang, breaking the intimate atmosphere. Qiao Xi startled like a frightened rabbit. Even though they were the only two in the room, she was still afraid of being seen in her current state.
Shen Ya picked up her jacket, covered Qiao Xi, and then went to find the phone. She looked at the screen before handing it over: “It’s your mother.”
Qiao Xi took the phone, her face still flushed. She took a few deep breaths before pressing answer: “Mommy?”
Qin Yunxin’s voice came through the phone: “Xiao Xi, when are you coming back? Are you coming back today?”
“Yes, I’ll be back soon.”
“Your mother and I have finished packing your luggage.” Qin Yunxin told her: “Just set a time with Moyao to come over, or your mother and I can drop it off at your school when school starts.”
Qiao Xi was about to refuse, but her Mommy’s suggestion tempted her. It wouldn’t be convenient to carry all her luggage herself. “Then can Mom and Mommy help me send the luggage on the first day of school?”
“Sure. Then you and Xiao Shen don’t need to come back if you’re eating out.”
“Okay, Mommy. See you in a couple of days.”
Hanging up the phone, Qiao Xi beamed at Shen Ya: “I don’t need to go back to Mom’s house. Let’s go straight to Blank to find Boss Fang.”
The change in plan gave them more time, but the atmosphere was broken, and their previous intentions were gone. Qiao Xi put on her clothes, and the two quickly left the apartment.
In the car, Qiao Xi sent a message to Zhou Ziqian asking where they were. After a while, Zhou Ziqian replied: [Little Gray Wolf (Note): Just woke up, Little Sister Xi.]
[Teacher Shen and I are on our way to Blank. Didn’t you say you were coming to pick me up today?]
[Little Gray Wolf: Little Sister Xi, it’s only noon. We didn’t expect you to come so early.]
Just then, Fang Moyao’s message popped up:
[Big Gray Wolf: Xiao Xi, Qianqian and I are coming over now. Have you eaten? If not, let’s eat together.]
[Not yet. Then Teacher Shen and I will wait for you at Blank.]
[Big Gray Wolf: Okay, we’ll be there soon.]
Another meal sorted out. Qiao Xi put away her phone and shared the good news with Shen Ya: “Boss Fang said she’d treat us to a meal.”
“That works too.”
When Qiao Xi and Shen Ya arrived at Blank, they saw Zhou Ziqian sitting at the bar eating freshly baked chicken wings. Seeing them, Zhou Ziqian even held up a half-eaten chicken wing and said: “Come on, have a snack first.”
Smelling the aroma, Qiao Xi’s stomach rumbled with hunger. She didn’t stand on ceremony, picked up the chopsticks nearby, and first grabbed a baked chicken wing for Shen Ya.
“You eat first.” Shen Ya was used to being hungry and often forgot to eat breakfast when busy.
“Oh, why don’t you two just share one? Why be shy?”
Although Zhou Ziqian was teasing, Qiao Xi thought she made a good point. She held it up to Shen Ya’s mouth: “Teacher Shen, you take the first bite.”
This time, Shen Ya didn’t refuse.
The chicken wing was finished between them. The freshly baked chicken wing was crispy outside and tender inside, bursting with juice when bitten into. Qiao Xi and Shen Ya ate half a platter before stopping their chopsticks and asking: “Where’s Boss Fang?”
“On the phone.” Zhou Ziqian’s gaze stopped on the wine carrier Shen Ya brought in: “What good stuff did Boss Shen bring?”
Speaking of which, Qiao Xi moved the wine carrier and opened it: “I brought the wine I promised Boss Fang last time.”
Footsteps sounded from behind: “Oh? Let me see what good wine Xiao Xi brought.”
Fang Moyao appeared just in time. Qiao Xi had just taken the wine out of the carrier when Fang Moyao took it from her. She inspected the bottle carefully, and the corners of her mouth curled higher and higher. Jiang Yunxi really did hide good stuff. She hadn’t found it last time, but it didn’t stop her from getting her hands on this fine wine.
Indeed, Qiao Xi is truly my blood sister. So lovable.
Fang Moyao held the bottle tightly but didn’t plan to leave the wine at Blank. She put it back in the carrier: “Let’s go. We’re going to Mu Qi’s house to eat. She’s already cooking. The timing is perfect now.”
Lunch was enjoyable. Qiao Xi also learned during the meal that Fang Moyao’s house and Grandma’s house were in the same community. Not only that, but they were next-door neighbors and very close to Blank.
Zhou Ziqian even joked that if Shen Ya couldn’t bear to be separated, she could stay at their house for two days.
Shen Ya refused. She was quite busy with work, and the college entrance exam was only a few months away. She would only get busier. A colleague had swapped classes with her tonight, so she had two evening self-study classes to teach.
Qiao Xi didn’t want Shen Ya to be too tired, so she didn’t ask Shen Ya to stay with her after lunch.
Qiao Xi was a little nervous about returning to Grandma’s house for the first time, but listening to Zhou Ziqian chatter non-stop along the way, her nervousness vanished.
Fang Moyao’s family lived in a serene community. Although all the houses were detached villas, Fang Moyao’s and Fang Hongjing’s homes had a door on the side connecting the two houses.
Getting out of the car, Zhou Ziqian casually put her arm around Qiao Xi’s shoulder: “Little Sister Xi, don’t be shy on your first visit.”
The decoration style was similar to her mother’s house, except there was no Pangpang or Eleven here. Fang Moyao used face recognition to open the door and called inside: “Grandma, Mom, Mommy, I brought Xiao Xi back.”
“Mommy?”
“Mommy is what I call my mother.” Zhou Ziqian explained to her: “My mother and Sister Yao Yao’s mother got together when I was little, but they never got a marriage certificate.”
Qiao Xi nodded.
Zhou Ziqian took out a new pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet: “Your Aunt specially went out to buy these yesterday. She didn’t know what color you liked, so she bought you blue furry slippers with a little bear on them.”
“I like them, they’re very cute.”
“Good, as long as you like them.” Zhou Ziqian placed the slippers on the floor for her.
The elders heard the voices and quickly rushed to the door to greet her. Knowing Qiao Xi was coming today, they had been looking forward to it all night.
“Is it cold outside?” Fang Lianxin came to Qiao Xi, touched her head, and then her hand, her eyes full of gentle smiles: “I know you just ate out, but Grandma still made some snacks for you. Come and try them to see if they suit your taste.”
“I’ll like anything Grandma makes.”
“Our Xiao Xi has such a sweet mouth.” Fang Lianxin led Qiao Xi inside happily. She looked energetic today, as if she had become a few years younger.
This home was equally warm. Perhaps due to the blood connection, Qiao Xi felt relaxed from the moment she entered the house. She washed her hands and sat down on the living room sofa. Fang Hongjing and Zhou Ran brought out several plates of food.
“Is this baked shortbread? Little cakes!” Qiao Xi’s eyes moved to another large bowl. She saw roasted pig trotters, roasted chicken feet, and fried meatballs. Each dish smelled so good it made her mouth water.
If she had known the family prepared so much food for her, she wouldn’t have eaten so much just now.
“It’s so lavish.”
“Good, as long as you like it.” Fang Hongjing sat down on Qiao Xi’s other side. She smiled and said to her: “Feel free to take whatever you want. Don’t be constrained at home. The room is all ready for you. Yao Yao and her family live right across the hall. You can go over and play with them whenever you want.”
“I understand, Aunt.”
“Our family owns a bakery. I don’t know if Yao Yao ever told you.”
A bakery? No wonder the shortbread and cakes were so beautifully made. Qiao Xi picked up a piece and put it in her mouth. The strong milky flavor tasted somewhat familiar: “Could it be that Lanxin is…”
“Yes, Lanxin is our family’s bakery.”
Qiao Xi’s eyes widened. Fang Moyao had never told her! It turned out that the croissant tarts she usually loved came from her own family!
“I love our family’s croissant tarts!”
“Then I’ll have someone send some over later.” Fang Hongjing patted her head. “Tell Aunt whatever you want to eat in the future, and I’ll make it for you.”
Since that was the case, Qiao Xi didn’t hold back. She showed the sunny smile that elders loved the most: “Then, when I start school, can I bring some shortbread cookies to school for my friends to try?”
“Of course, you can bring as much as you like.”
Qiao Xi’s arrival brought much laughter and joy to the house. Fang Moyao sat quietly watching the scene. There was no lack of happiness in the home, but the joy of such a family reunion was rare.
Her hand ran through the gaps between Zhou Ziqian’s fingers. Her head rested on Zhou Ziqian’s shoulder, and she looked at Qiao Xi tenderly: “Qianqian, I’m very happy today.”
