Savage Kiss - Chapter 87
After confirming her WeChat login, Xu Qingyi went to practice yoga.
Mi Lian had been logged into Xu Qingyi’s WeChat for one minute and fifty-three seconds.
Besides accessing her gaming account, she quickly scanned through all of Xu Qingyi’s WeChat messages.
She discovered that this WeChat account had neither Shen Yanzhou nor Ke Yan in its contacts.
However, from the list, she identified the WeChat account Xu Qingyi frequently used.
For Mi Lian, finding someone to hack into it wasn’t difficult at all.
Originally, she had mentally prepared herself, but seeing the WeChat conversations between Xu Qingyi and Shen Yanzhou still drove her mad with jealousy.
Sure enough, the idea of custom-made intimate products had indeed been proposed by Xu Qingyi!
She really was clever.
Mi Lian looked at the email account linked to Xu Qingyi’s private WeChat, which contained numerous intimate photos, likely belonging to clients.
Mi Lian almost felt sorry for Xu Qingyi’s talent and creativity. “You can only blame yourself for competing over something you shouldn’t have. He can only be mine.”
…
Xu Qingyi had been relatively relaxed for a couple of days, waiting for news from President Ke.
Once the full set of products was ready, she planned to deliver them to Wu Yi.
Since it was a custom order, aside from her, not even Ke Yan at the factory knew Wu Yi’s information.
But before the products arrived, President Ke suddenly called her in a panic.
“What’s going on? Our official online store is under attack! They’re accusing us of leaking clients’ intimate photos?!”
Xu Qingyi was even more bewildered than she was.
The store’s review section rarely had buyers uploading intimate photos, and even if they did, it was voluntary. How could it be considered a leak?
A few minutes later, Xu Qingyi’s phone and text messages were flooded with spam and harassment, and her email inbox was inundated, buzzing nonstop.
She quickly skimmed through a couple of messages.
One after another, shocking and indecent intimate photos of women assaulted her eyes.
[Are these clients’ private photos? More like the designer’s own provocative shots, right?]
[If it’s her, she’s downright filthy, polluting netizens’ eyes! Just arrest her already!]
[If it’s the clients’, she should definitely be locked up!]
Xu Qingyi felt as if she had been struck by lightning!
Every intimate photo’s pose almost perfectly matched the scenes from when she had taken measurements for Wu Yi that day.
How could this be?
She would never leak anything! And she certainly hadn’t taken this many photos!
Xu Qingyi’s mind was in chaos. After forcing herself to calm down, she immediately contacted Wu Yi.
The other end picked up quickly. “Ms. Xu, I’m sorry, I couldn’t get through to you.”
“My legal team automatically took over this matter. It’s their job, and I can’t really interfere…”
Xu Qingyi felt deeply apologetic. “It’s my oversight. Although I still don’t know what happened, I promise to give you a satisfactory explanation!”
“I’ll handle this properly. I hope we can continue working together in the future!” Xu Qingyi truly valued this opportunity.
Wu Yi, having weathered many storms, was quite forgiving toward such a sincere young woman. “Of course.”
She gently reminded Xu Qingyi, “Ms. Xu, think about it, have you offended anyone in the workplace?”
“I’ve seen those photos. They look like me, but not entirely.”
It was hard to tell if they were photoshopped. Since no faces were shown, only legs, buttocks, or private parts, it was difficult to verify.
Xu Qingyi paused, not fully understanding. “It wasn’t you?”
When she saw the photos, every pose almost perfectly matched the positions and stances from the measurement session. She hadn’t given it a second thought.
Wu Yi was quite certain, “Anyway, I have a mole on my inner thigh, close to that area, but it’s not in the photo. Whoever leaked it wouldn’t kindly photoshop it out for me, right?”
“Handling this privately might have been manageable, but now that it’s blown up like this, it’s even harder for me to step forward.”
How could she possibly come out and say it wasn’t her? How could she prove it? Take another photo herself? Obviously impossible.
With this information, Xu Qingyi had a clearer direction for investigation.
Last time, when she and Shen Yanzhou were caught kissing in a stolen photo, they managed to trace the source and block it. These photos could surely be handled the same way.
However, this matter directly affected her work, so she couldn’t involve Shen Yanzhou.
The only person she could think of was Shen Yuqiao.
Shen Yuqiao hadn’t been answering her calls, so Xu Qingyi had no choice but to go into the city to find him.
As she hurried downstairs, Xu Qingyi walked quickly without noticing Shen Yanzhou waiting there until he stopped her.
“Not watching where you’re going isn’t a good habit,” he said with a slightly resigned tone.
Xu Qingyi looked at him in surprise.
Seeing her expression, Shen Yanzhou knew she had forgotten. “You promised to have dinner with me tonight. Forgot?”
She opened her mouth slightly, giving him an apologetic look. “I have something urgent to attend to in the city right now. Can we reschedule?”
Shen Yanzhou thought she was making excuses and smirked, casually asking, “What are you going to the city for so late?”
Xu Qingyi evaded slightly, “Just personal matters.”
Shen Yanzhou chuckled, a bit teasingly, “What personal matters? Sneaking off to meet some pretty boy behind my back again?”
Xu Qingyi didn’t like this feeling because, in Shen Yanzhou’s eyes, her trip to the city was indeed something to hide.
“Stop asking!” she unconsciously frowned and made to leave.
Shen Yanzhou had only been joking, but sensing her annoyance, his expression cooled abruptly.
It lasted only a moment before he turned and opened the car door for her. “I’ll take you.”
Of course, Xu Qingyi wouldn’t let him.
“No need!” she said, somewhat helplessly. “I’ll drive myself.”
“It’s not safe this late,” Shen Yanzhou insisted. “I won’t ask about your personal matters. I’ll just drop you off and leave?”
He took her wrist, trying to get her into the car.
Though he was concerned, Xu Qingyi was afraid he’d find out she was going to see Shen Yuqiao. Anxious and guilty, her impatience flared.
“What’s unsafe about the night? I’m not a three-year-old!”
After saying it, Xu Qingyi realized her tone had been harsh.
Shen Yanzhou had already let go of her hand.
She glanced at him and softened her tone slightly. “I’m a good driver, so don’t worry. I’ll explain when I get back.”
Xu Qingyi didn’t have time to dwell on him any longer. Her car was parked nearby; she started the engine and drove off.
By the time she was halfway there, it was completely dark.
When she arrived outside Shen Yuqiao’s villa, it was already past eight. Shen Yuqiao wasn’t answering his phone, so Xu Qingyi had no choice but to walk up and knock.
Not long after, the lights on the upper floor of the villa turned on.
