Pretending Not to Love You [Entertainment Circle] - Chapter 76
Chapter 76
In the hospital room, Xiao Baijun was starting to feel drowsy after eating Zuo Qiu’s leftover plain porridge. Zuo Qiu suggested he rest on the sofa nearby, but Xiao Baijun refused.
Zuo Qiu wanted Xiao Baijun to lie down with him, but besides the injury on his head, he also had bruises on his legs, though not as severe. He carefully moved his body to clear one half of the bed and said to Xiao Baijun, who was sitting on the chair, “Why don’t you come lie down for a bit?”
Xiao Baijun looked like he was about to get up, but then he remembered that this bed was only slightly bigger than the folding bed at Zuo Qiu’s place. On the folding bed, two large men could only lie on their sides. Now that Zuo Qiu was injured, he definitely couldn’t be made to lie on his side or be pressed on.
“No, I’ll just sit here.”
Zuo Qiu didn’t force him. To get the stubborn Xiao Baijun to sleep, Zuo Qiu decided to shift his focus from his still tense mind and asked him about his next moves.
“You used your ex-ex-girlfriend against your ex-girlfriend, and the original video against Y Network. That’s two wins out of two. What about Ling Qu? You still haven’t dug up the mastermind behind all this. What’s your next plan?”
In this press conference, Xiao Baijun mainly played two cards: one was Jin Jing, and the other was the full, micro-camera-recorded video from the time they filmed the show for Y Network. Judging from the reaction of the media and netizens, he had succeeded in turning things around halfway. However, knowing Xiao Baijun’s character—always repaying a grudge tenfold or a thousandfold—Zuo Qiu figured he must have a trump card still hidden.
A smile appeared on Xiao Baijun’s lips when discussing this successful public relations strategy. “Don’t worry, you’ll know later tonight.”
Ling Qu went to great lengths to drag them through the mud. If he didn’t do something, how could he live up to their “hard work”? Besides, there was one more thing Zuo Qiu probably didn’t know: when Xiao Corporation’s stock price plummeted yesterday, he had bought back the shares from many small investors, placing them under his and Zuo Qiu’s names. With the 2% his grandfather left him, he and Zuo Qiu now collectively held 7% of the shares, making them major shareholders.
Now, all he had to do was wait for the New Year’s Day holiday to end and see how much the stock would rise.
Zuo Qiu was unhappy with Xiao Baijun’s tendency to be secretive. “Can’t you tell me just a little bit?”
Xiao Baijun still refused. “The doctor said you shouldn’t overthink things recently. Just rest well and don’t worry about unnecessary matters.”
Zuo Qiu looked annoyed, but inwardly, he breathed a sigh of relief. Xiao Baijun had finally been distracted.
“How did you think of finding your ex-ex-girlfriend? That’s really clever!”
Zuo Qiu complimented him with an exaggerated expression, but inwardly, he chuckled. It was fortunate that he didn’t appear in front of the media due to his injury. Otherwise, if the media reported their story with the headline, “Xiao Baijun’s Ex-Ex and Current Partner Team Up Against the Ex—Who Are You Backing?” he would die of embarrassment.
Xiao Baijun, however, appreciated Zuo Qiu’s admiration. “Your Ge is smart!”
Seeing that Xiao Baijun could barely keep his eyes open, Zuo Qiu didn’t ask further and pretended to yawn. “I’m tired, I’ll sleep for a bit.”
When Xiao Baijun heard Zuo Qiu wanted to sleep, he helped lower the bed and tucked him in.
Zuo Qiu closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep. Less than five minutes later, he heard soft snoring by the bed. Zuo Qiu opened his eyes and looked over. Xiao Baijun was asleep, leaning on the edge of the bed.
…
Online, netizens were fed a huge piece of gossip on the first morning of the long holiday, and they were all excited.
“Seriously, Xiao Baijun’s ex-ex-girlfriend is really beautiful, and she’s articulate too.”
“Looking at Xiao Baijun’s tired face, I’m a bit worried Zuo Qiu is seriously hurt. Hope he recovers soon.”
“Like Zuo Qiu’s mother said, so what if he’s gay? There are tons of gay people in foreign countries, it’s totally normal.”
“So Jin Jing is saying Zeng Xinyi lied? They met at the end of March and started dating in April, but in her mouth, it became ‘pursued for half a year.’ Tsk, I even suspect she deliberately splashed coffee on Xiao Baijun to get his attention.”
“The comment above is right. I guess Xiao Baijun initially went along with dating her because she looked similar to Zuo Qiu. A week later, Xiao Baijun couldn’t stand it and broke up with her, but she refused and forcefully clung onto him.”
“Xiao Baijun’s ex-ex-girlfriend says Xiao Baijun isn’t a scumbag, but his ex-girlfriend says he is. So, the question is, was Xiao Baijun a scumbag for doing that?”
“Damn, Y Network is shameless, trying to fool us with an edited video. After watching the full video, I finally understand why Xiao Baijun acted so aggressively toward that woman. She totally deserved it. The three words she mumbled that weren’t picked up were clearly ‘dead fag.’ Of course Xiao Baijun got angry!”
“I’m putting on my tinfoil hat: the daughter of the Y Network boss said at the end that she is the future boss of Ling Qu. So, could the mastermind behind the continuous attack on the Z.X duo all this time be Ling Qu? Ling Qu and Bai Le have always been rivals with a long-standing feud. It makes sense…”
Netizens were enthusiastically discussing their theories online. Similar to the past few days, Xiao Baijun and Zuo Qiu were trending at certain times of the day, but unlike before, the number of people boycotting them had significantly decreased. The public sentiment was gradually shifting toward the duo following the press conference, until a video uploaded by a netizen in the evening completely swayed public opinion in favor of Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun.
The video was shot by a non-professional, so the image wasn’t crystal clear, but the two female protagonists could still be identified as Xiao Baijun’s ex-girlfriend, Zeng Xinyi, and the Y Network’s young mistress, Cheng Lingling. The male protagonist was a short, greasy-looking man with a sly appearance.
“Tang Yongjin, who is this woman? What are the two of you doing in a hotel?”
Zeng Xinyi pointed at Tang Yongjin and questioned him. Someone had texted her the name and room number of a hotel at noon. She initially found the text inexplicable and assumed it was sent by mistake, but as time passed, she grew increasingly uneasy. So, she followed the address in the text. What did she find? A woman was intimately holding Tang Yongjin’s arm, and they were kissing openly in front of everyone. How could he do this!
The scene could vaguely be identified as the lobby of a luxury hotel.
“Who are you? Why should I tell you about my husband and me?” came Cheng Lingling’s voice.
Zeng Xinyi nearly exploded with anger. “She’s your wife, then what am I? You promised you would marry me if I recorded the video to slander Xiao Baijun!”
In the video released at Xiao Baijun’s press conference today, Zeng Xinyi had heard this woman claim to be the future boss’s wife of Ling Qu. She hadn’t believed it then, but now she felt she had been deceived.
Cheng Lingling countered sharply, “Hmph, I’ve seen too many women like you, sticking yourself to any man with a little money. Xiao Baijun dumped you, and now you’re trying to cling to A Jin? Shameless!”
Furious, Zeng Xinyi rushed forward and started fighting Cheng Lingling. The two women pulled each other’s hair; the scene was anything but pretty.
The male protagonist, Tang Yongjin, didn’t utter a single word the entire time. He watched the women’s battle with his arms crossed, then, looking disgusted, he walked past them and prepared to leave.
“Ah, blood! She’s bleeding!”
At this moment, a bystander shouted loudly. The camera shifted to show Zeng Xinyi lying on the floor with blood spreading beneath her.
“Tang Yongjin, save me! Save our baby!”
Tang Yongjin, who had been standing frozen, flinched when he heard Zeng Xinyi’s words. He took a few steps back and quickly fled the hotel.
Cheng Lingling, who had accidentally pushed Zeng Xinyi down, looked at the increasing pool of blood on the floor, trembling as she pulled out her phone and called 120.
The video abruptly ended as the hotel manager appeared to manage the scene.
“Holy cow, with that much blood, the baby is definitely lost.”
“So, everything Zeng Xinyi said in the Y Network interview was fake, all just to slander Xiao Baijun? So we all misunderstood him.”
“Although Zeng Xinyi is pitiful with the suspected miscarriage, her experience is hard to sympathize with. The baby was clearly unwanted by the father. I guess even if it were born, it wouldn’t have a good life.”
“Emmm, something suddenly occurred to me. Zeng Xinyi said in the video that when Xiao Baijun was with her, he didn’t hold hands, didn’t kiss, and didn’t even have sex. I remember thinking at the time that she sounded quite thirsty and seemed really eager to sleep with Xiao Baijun, and she was clearly disappointed that it didn’t happen. Now I finally understand what she meant. Having sex was probably just to plant a seed, to secure a way to truly climb the social ladder later.”
“Wow, the comment above sounds very right. It’s chilling when you think about it.”
“Chilling when you think about it.”
“Chilling when you think about it.”
“Chilling when you think about it.”
…
“That man is such a scumbag, two-timing and then leaving her to die. My god, he’s a total jerk, worse than Xiao Baijun.”
“Yes, compared to him, Xiao Baijun is practically a good man.”
There is no harm without comparison. Under the contrast of a “rotten person,” Xiao Baijun successfully turned his reputation around. Although some people still disliked him and didn’t accept his identity as a gay man, at least they wouldn’t use those past messes to slander him anymore.
…
After worrying about Xiao Baijun, the Z.X fans started worrying about Zuo Qiu again, wondering how serious his injuries were. Many fans posted prayers for Zuo Qiu on Weibo.
While the hotel video was still going viral online, Ou Sheng arrived at the hospital to visit Zuo Qiu.
Xiao Baijun, who had a good nap in the afternoon, looked much better now and was sitting nearby peeling an apple for Zuo Qiu.
“I joked about what you guys would use to promote Wild Jun when it was released, but I never thought you’d use your life to promote it for us!”
Zuo Qiu laughed when he heard Ou Sheng’s words. “So, considering my sacrifice, if the movie doesn’t make 3 billion at the box office, it would be an injustice to me.”
Ou Sheng wasn’t demanding about the box office. “I just hope people genuinely like this movie. The box office amount doesn’t really matter.”
Just as Xiao Baijun thought, Ou Sheng and Cheng Ye were not short on money. Ou Sheng cared more that people would accept the movie’s core concept—equal treatment for gay people.
Cheng Ye, who hadn’t spoken much, walked over to Xiao Baijun and asked him, “Why are you peeling all the apple flesh onto the floor?”
The two people talking looked over at Xiao Baijun upon hearing this. They saw that the originally round apple in his hand was almost gone. They couldn’t help but laugh.
Xiao Baijun didn’t think anything was wrong. He handed the tiny piece of apple, which would be gone in two bites, to Zuo Qiu. “Eat it.”
Zuo Qiu just found the apple hilarious and didn’t eat it.
Cheng Ye took an apple from the table, grabbed the fruit knife from Xiao Baijun’s hand, and started peeling a new one. “Let me show you how to peel an apple.”
He started circling the apple with the knife, and in less than a minute, a long, thin, continuous apple peel was tossed into the trash can right under Xiao Baijun’s nose. After peeling it, Cheng Ye didn’t immediately hand the apple to Ou Sheng. Instead, he found a small bowl, cut the apple into small pieces, stuck toothpicks in them, and presented it to Ou Sheng.
The small, easy-to-bite apple pieces in front of Ou Sheng versus the ugly-looking apple in Zuo Qiu’s hand—the difference was clear. Cheng Ye won this round completely!
Xiao Baijun glanced at Cheng Ye’s smug face, turned, and walked into the kitchen. Five minutes later, he came out with a small plate of peeled and deseeded grapes, placing it on the small table between Ou Sheng and Zuo Qiu. “Eat.”
Ou Sheng looked at the strangely shaped grapes and flatly refused. There were currently two ways to remove grape seeds: one was to dig out the seeds with fingers inside the pulp, and the other was to bite it open and then remove the seeds… Ou Sheng couldn’t accept either method.
Seeing Zuo Qiu stare dumbfounded at the apple, Xiao Baijun took the apple from his hand and took a bite. He then said, “Hurry up and eat. I’ve peeled and deseeded them for you. It’s very convenient to eat with a toothpick.”
Zuo Qiu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. It was the first time he had seen someone serve him grapes like this. Although he wasn’t used to it, Zuo Qiu didn’t want to embarrass Xiao Baijun again. He picked up a toothpick and started eating, even giving Xiao Baijun a thumbs-up as encouragement after tasting one.
At this, Xiao Baijun shot a provocative glance at Cheng Ye—See? I can do it too!
Cheng Ye was utterly shocked. He suddenly felt how foolish he was to have ever competed with Xiao Baijun. How could he compare himself to someone with the emotional intelligence of an elementary school student!
“Your ability to apply lessons is truly impressive!”
As soon as he said that, Ou Sheng and Zuo Qiu both laughed.
…
At 8 PM that evening, Zuo Qiu posted his first message on his newly certified Weibo account.
“Hello everyone, I’m Zuo Qiu. Please take good care of me from now on. @XiaoBaijun @OuSheng @ChengYe” The Weibo post also included a photo of the four of them in the hospital room. Zuo Qiu, with a bandage on his forehead, was lying on the hospital bed, and the other three were sitting around him. All four were smiling, and the atmosphere was great.
Both Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun used their new accounts. One was certified as a Bai Le signed artist, and the other as the President of Bai Le.
The Z.X duo’s Weibo account immediately retweeted the post, stating that Zuo Qiu would develop individually from now on, but the group’s Weibo account would remain.
From then on, Xiao Baijun retired from the group, and Zuo Qiu officially went solo.
…
On January 2nd, the day before the official release of Wild Jun, many former Z.X fans trended the hashtag “The Group’s Last Movie Ticket.” This was the only time the two would appear on the big screen as a couple, and their last time onscreen together. It would be a discontinued edition that people would never see again. With this reasoning, many people who liked them or felt they had misunderstood them before were willing to pay to see their last collaboration. Consequently, online pre-orders soared, and the box office revenue for the first day of release on January 3rd immediately surpassed 100 million.
Zuo Qiu hadn’t been online or watched much TV recently, so all his outside news came from Xiao Baijun. Hearing that Wild Jun was doing well both in box office and reviews, he breathed a sigh of relief. Currently, Xiao Baijun had wrapped him up like a ball and was pushing him in a wheelchair to sunbathe in the downstairs garden.
“How is Zeng Xinyi?” Zuo Qiu looked at a pregnant woman not far away and suddenly remembered the miscarried Zeng Xinyi.
Xiao Baijun didn’t particularly like discussing his previous girlfriends with Zuo Qiu, but he wouldn’t hide anything Zuo Qiu asked about, provided he knew the answer.
“I heard she’s doing quite well.”
Zuo Qiu looked at Xiao Baijun doubtfully. Doing well? In what way?
“I heard that after her miscarriage, someone offered her a high price to expose dirt on Tang Yongjin. She agreed and disappeared without a trace before the video was even released.”
Zuo Qiu’s mouth hung open in disbelief. Did she flee immediately after taking revenge, fearing retaliation?
“Did you arrange it?”
This tactic was too similar to Xiao Baijun’s, making it hard not to suspect him!
Xiao Baijun, however, denied it. “How could I? In the eye of the storm, why would I do something so obvious and give people something to talk about? I heard it was done by the fiancée of one of Tang Yongjin’s foreign lovers.”
A lover’s fiancée? After Zuo Qiu sorted out the relationships, he was astonished. “Is Tang Yongjin gay? No, if he were gay, Zeng Xinyi wouldn’t be pregnant… So, he’s bisexual?”
“Mh-hm, people are very open about how they play overseas!”
Xiao Baijun recalled the glimpse he caught of the secretly filmed video and felt disgusted. He had heard of 3/P, but this was the first time he’d seen it, which completely shattered his view of the world.
Zuo Qiu frowned. “How did you know all this?”
Xiao Baijun smiled and didn’t say anything.
Zuo Qiu instantly understood. “You teamed up with Tang Yongjin’s lover’s fiancée?”
Xiao Baijun still didn’t speak. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. If someone was willing to be his blade, why shouldn’t he take advantage? What he needed to do now was wait for all the scandals to explode and then poach a few of Ling Qu’s cash cows.
Ling Qu’s future, having been calculated by Xiao Baijun in this way, was predictable.
…
The day Wild Jun left the theaters was also the day Xiao Baijun allowed Zuo Qiu to be discharged from the hospital. In fact, Zuo Qiu’s injuries were mostly healed long ago, but Xiao Baijun still worried. Only after the doctor chased them out three times and guaranteed that there wasn’t a trace of a blood clot in Zuo Qiu’s head did Xiao Baijun pack Zuo Qiu’s luggage.
“Finally, we can go home,” Zuo Qiu sighed.
“Does this mean my good days are about to begin?” Xiao Baijun emphasized the words “good days.” Because of Zuo Qiu’s injury, Xiao Baijun hadn’t dared to be reckless lately, but that didn’t mean he didn’t want to.
Zuo Qiu had seen all of Xiao Baijun’s restraint during this time, and he knew it was hard on him. He leaned in and whispered, “Whatever you want when we get home.”
Whatever you want… Only these three words remained in Xiao Baijun’s mind. If the location wasn’t inappropriate, he would indulge himself right there and then.
“You shouldn’t have said anything. Now that you have, I can’t hold back. What should I do?”
Zuo Qiu found it amusing and teased him, “Hold it in. Don’t let yourself get excited! There are a lot of people outside!”
At this time, besides Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun, Yun Duo and Zuo Qinmin were also in the room. Since Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun’s relationship gained public acceptance, the school had called the couple repeatedly, asking them to return to their teaching positions. However, the school’s previous actions had been disheartening, and coupled with Zuo Qiu’s major car accident, the couple had come to a decision. They wouldn’t teach anymore; they would stay with their son to care for him. After all, nothing was better than being together as a family.
“You two hurry up, Sheng-sheng is still waiting outside!” Yun Duo was long used to Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun being affectionate, but the timing for their affection was too wrong. Ou Sheng and Cheng Ye had been waiting outside for a long time.
Reminded by his mother, Zuo Qiu finally remembered Ou Sheng was outside. He left Xiao Baijun and walked out of the room.
To prevent others from seeing his condition, Xiao Baijun quickly buttoned up his long coat.
“Brother Sheng, I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.”
Ou Sheng smiled at Zuo Qiu. “You’ve earned me 2 billion; I’d be willing to wait another hour.”
The box office for Wild Jun had already surpassed 2 billion. For a niche film, this box office figure surprised even Ou Sheng.
Zuo Qiu smiled. “It’s all because Brother Sheng directed it so well.”
Ou Sheng patted his hair and asked him, “What are your plans for the future?”
Zuo Qiu had very strong box office appeal. Since his debut, he had only made two films, and both had grossed over 2 billion. The internet was calling Zuo Qiu the “Movie Lucky Star,” claiming any film he was in would succeed. However, Ou Sheng heard that Zuo Qiu had turned down all the invitations he’d received to make films.
“I want to apply for a master’s degree at the film academy,” Zuo Qiu replied. As a science student who entered the industry halfway, Zuo Qiu had always wanted to systematically study knowledge in this field. If there were good films or TV shows, he would still film them during summer or winter breaks.
Hearing this reason, Ou Sheng admired Zuo Qiu. Many artists worried that going to school would lead to less exposure and a drop in popularity, so they often chose to drop out or take a leave of absence. Zuo Qiu, however, was semi-retiring less than a year after his debut. But with the powerful backing of the Bai Le boss, Zuo Qiu would likely have his pick of resources in the future.
…
Due to preparing his graduation thesis, Zuo Qiu didn’t take on any more films or TV shows before graduation. He occasionally appeared in magazines and often showed affection with Xiao Baijun on Weibo. Initially, he worried that fans might be put off by the intimate photos and suggestive words with Xiao Baijun, but surprisingly, the fans loved and looked forward to seeing Xiao Baijun interact with Zuo Qiu this way, feeling like they were “eating sugar” every day.
In July following Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun’s graduation, Xiao Baijun brought Zuo Qiu to the United States. With the blessing of both families, they received their first marriage certificate. When the certificate was posted on Weibo, it shocked almost everyone. No one expected the two young men, who had been dating for less than a year, to get married. Many people were bitter, claiming they would surely break up within five years.
However, when the first five years passed, and Xiao Baijun’s Proposal for the Implementation of Same-Sex Marriage Law, which he presented as a National People’s Congress representative, was passed, Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun obtained their second marriage certificate. By this time, most netizens supported them, and the few remaining trolls were directly silenced by their devoted fans.
Five years after that, when a family photo of the four of them appeared on Weibo, the comments were nothing but blessings.
Ten years had passed. To outsiders, Zuo Qiu and Xiao Baijun seemed more mature and stable than they were a decade ago, but in Zuo Qiu’s eyes, Xiao Baijun was still that childish big boy.
…
On this day, Xiao Baijun left work early and drove to the set to pick up Zuo Qiu after he finished filming.
“My mom took the two little guys to the old family home this afternoon.”
Since the two children were born, they had been taken care of by both sets of parents and the couple in rotation. It was currently their turn, but Xiao Baijun had initially opposed Zuo Qiu having to care for the children every day after filming. However, Zuo Qiu argued that the children would become distant if they weren’t around long-term, and having them around made things livelier. Xiao Baijun reluctantly agreed for Zuo Qiu’s happiness, but the two children were too clingy to Zuo Qiu, so Xiao Baijun occasionally took the opportunity to send them away early.
Zuo Qiu understood Xiao Baijun’s implication perfectly. He sighed, “They only came back two days ago.” Zuo Qiu had planned to spend fifteen days with them, but unfortunately, the director called him to the set for an important matter today. Even worse, Xiao Baijun had seized the chance to send them away.
Xiao Baijun felt no guilt about sending away the two crying one-year-olds. He drove slowly and said, “They were back for two days, and I was out of favor for two days. I think sending away the little kids who compete with me for attention is great.”
He didn’t know why, but the two children were extremely attached to Zuo Qiu. Whenever they stayed together, they insisted on sleeping in Zuo Qiu’s arms. Every time Xiao Baijun wanted to get up to mischief and tried to move them, they would wail loudly. This directly led to him being celibate for half a month every month. What hot-blooded man could endure that!
“Xiao Er, one of them is biologically yours, and one is mine. How can you say that… Can you be any more childish?” Being jealous of two one-year-olds—only Xiao Baijun could do that.
“Daddy, I want milk-milk~” To differentiate their titles, the two babies called Zuo Qiu “Daddy” and Xiao Baijun “Papa.”
It turned out Xiao Baijun could indeed be more childish. Zuo Qiu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry listening to him imitate the babies’ voices.
“If you imitate them again, I swear I’ll hit you.”
Xiao Baijun stopped the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, and got out. He walked around to Zuo Qiu’s side, opened the car door, and asked, “Come down. I’ll give you a chance to hit me.”
Zuo Qiu got out and looked around. The sky was dimming. He had no idea why Xiao Baijun brought him here. “What is this place?”
Xiao Baijun held Zuo Qiu’s hand and walked forward, answering him, “A place where our descendants will soon be buried.”
Hearing this, and seeing the suspicious location, Zuo Qiu immediately understood what Xiao Baijun was planning. He didn’t know what was wrong with Xiao Baijun, but he always liked finding secluded, extremely suitable places for outdoor fun.
“No, I’m not going. I haven’t eaten yet. I want to go home.” Going in there meant they wouldn’t come out for at least two hours. Zuo Qiu shuddered at the thought.
“Be good. We’ll go home after we’re done. I promise it’ll only be an hour at most this time.”
Zuo Qiu didn’t believe Xiao Baijun’s nonsense at all. “Let’s go home. We’ll do it at home. I promise I’ll do whatever position you want.”
Xiao Baijun ignored him and pulled Zuo Qiu deeper into the woods.
Ten minutes later, in the empty woods, a dense tree began to shake violently, accompanied by short, muffled, intimate gasps that would make anyone blush.
Two hours later, the tree stopped shaking. A thick layer of fresh leaves lay on the ground beneath the tree, as if scattered by a typhoon.
The two were now dressed and sitting under the tree, resting.
“I used to have a wish,” Zuo Qiu said.
“What was it?”
“I hoped that we would have many, many memories, so that when we were separated, I could rely on those memories to live out my life. Later, I realized I was like a lottery winner. I was creating beautiful memories every day. Xiao Baijun, thank you for loving me.”
Xiao Baijun lifted Zuo Qiu’s hand and placed a kiss on the back of it.
“I’ve always had a wish.”
“What is it?”
“I wish to live to an old age with you, and keep doing it until we’re old.”
Zuo Qiu laughed after hearing this and bit Xiao Baijun’s arm. This person was simply too raunchy, but he still loved him.
Xiao Baijun met Zuo Qiu’s eyes, as if looking into his heart: “No matter what you look like, I love you too.”
(The End)
