- Over The Top! He Keeps Making the Gold-Digging Alpha Cry
- Chapter 44 - CPDD, You Are the Only One
The two Omegas were trembling in fear, hiding behind the young hoodlum. The hoodlum quickly grabbed both of them and pushed them toward Pei Yu.
“Bro, you like them, right? They’re all yours, all yours.”
Pei Yu’s expression was grim. “I don’t need them. I want you.”
The hoodlum nearly shattered, holding tightly onto the two Omegas. “Save me, save me! I’m only an Alpha. I don’t do AA.”
Pei Yu grabbed the hoodlum and gestured at the two Omegas to leave, then dragged the hoodlum toward his esports room.
As soon as Pei Yu let go inside the room, the hoodlum went limp, collapsing on the floor and shivering.
“Bro, please don’t mess with me. I’m the only Alpha for eighteen generations in my family. The continuation of the family line depends entirely on me.”
Pei Yu gave the hoodlum a look of disgust. “Teach me how to woo an Omega. You look very experienced.”
The hoodlum had just been holding one Omega with his left hand and another with his right.
The hoodlum’s face was full of disbelief. “You dragged me in here just for this?!”
Pei Yu gave him a hand gesture. “I’ll give you this much if you succeed.”
The hoodlum instantly beamed with joy, immediately springing up. “Bro, with me on the job, I’ll secure any Omega for you in minutes.”
Pei Yu was relieved to see his confidence.
“What should I send for this?”
The hoodlum looked at Pei Yu’s phone and studied it for a moment. “Just send him ‘CPDD, you are the only one.'”
Pei Yu looked at the hoodlum like he was an idiot. “Are you sure that works? I want to take it step by step.”
With the hoodlum’s strategic assistance, Pei Yu quickly edited the message and sent it.
Xu Wanxing was studying in the library, with Ji Rongyu sitting beside him, constantly staring at him.
Seeing a new message pop up on his phone, Xu Wanxing picked it up and read it.
“Pei Yu: Are you there? Show me your legs.”
Xu Wanxing: Holy crap?! Pei Yu must have been hacked.
How should I reply to this?
Ji Rongyu leaned over, saw the message, and his face instantly turned cold.
He was already distant and aloof, but now he seemed even more sacred and inviolable. Only he knew the size of the fire burning in his heart.
He whispered in Xu Wanxing’s ear, “I’ll reply for you.”
Xu Wanxing hesitated for a moment but handed him the phone and continued studying his Advanced Mathematics.
Ji Rongyu typed, gritting his teeth.
“Wanwan: Go show your mom! Die, you idiot!”
On the other side of the screen, the hoodlum scratched his head and said with a fawning expression, “Bro, the Omega you’re chasing is pretty special.”
Pei Yu looked at the message on his phone, his eyes wide as copper bells. Was this really a message from his sweet and soft Wanwan?
He must have been hacked.
Which bastard dared to hack his account? He’d smoke them out.
“Pei Yu: Who are you? You are not Wanwan.”
“Wanwan: Who I am is none of your business. State your name. Your daddy is going to teach you a lesson.”
Ji Rongyu secretly glanced at Xu Wanxing, who was focused on his exercises, typing and deleting to hide the traces of his furious outburst.
He didn’t know which greasy man this was, daring to send such disgusting messages to his dream Alpha.
Ji Rongyu looked closely and realized the person’s profile picture looked very similar to his good friend Pei Yu’s profile picture.
A coincidence?
Ji Rongyu tapped the profile picture to enlarge it.
…It’s the same damn person!
He never expected Pei Yu to be so repulsive in private. He truly knew the man’s face but not his heart. After being his good friend for so many years, he didn’t know he was capable of such filthy things, especially toward his crush.
Ji Rongyu was practically grinding his teeth, looking at the chat history and imitating Xu Wanxing’s way of speaking.
“Wanwan: I’m so sorry, Brother. I think I was hacked just now. Good thing you noticed.”
“Pei Yu: It’s okay, it’s okay.”
“Pei Yu: CPDD, you are the only one.”
After sending it, Pei Yu was a little hesitant. “Is this really okay?”
The hoodlum patted his chest and vowed confidently, “This is how I got over a dozen partners. Don’t worry, Bro.”
Ji Rongyu felt like his eyes were going blind when he saw the message. After being good friends with Pei Yu for so many years, he was truly disgusted!
Greasy!
“Wanwan: Go to hell!”
Pei Yu stared at the message, stunned. The hoodlum sweated profusely, trying to comfort Pei Yu frantically. “Bro, he might have been hacked.”
When Xu Wanxing took back his phone and saw the empty chat history, he was puzzled. “Ji Rongyu, why are there no messages here?”
Ji Rongyu’s handsome face showed a hint of apology. “I’m sorry. Your phone keyboard is a little different from mine. I accidentally deleted the messages. Xu Wanxing, I can compensate you.”
“Uh, you don’t need to compensate me. It’s just messages, it’s fine,” Xu Wanxing waved his hand.
Ji Rongyu was inwardly ecstatic but maintained a full expression of apology. “I’m really sorry. Let me treat you to dinner tonight.”
Free dinner?
Wonderful.
Xu Wanxing agreed. He could mooch a meal at the cafeteria off Ji Rongyu. Only a fool wouldn’t take advantage of a bargain.
Besides, Lu Yanbai had gone abroad recently, apparently to discuss a partnership with some very important major corporation. He was completely free now.
When they arrived at the location, Xu Wanxing realized how lavish Ji Rongyu was. This was clearly the same open-air restaurant where he and Lu Yanbai had their first date.
It was completely different from the cafeteria he had imagined.
It was expensive and delicious, though the glass floor that allowed him to see the road traffic below was a little scary.
Ji Rongyu opened the menu and pushed it toward Xu Wanxing. “What do you want to eat?”
Xu Wanxing immediately ordered all his favorite dishes. Halfway through, Xu Wanxing suddenly remembered this wasn’t in front of Lu Yanbai. He couldn’t be so unrestrained.
Xu Wanxing became reserved, smiled, and pushed the menu back to Ji Rongyu. “You order.”
Ji Rongyu traced the large menu, speaking as if casually. “Have you been here before?”
Xu Wanxing shook his head. “No. This is the first time anyone has brought me here to eat something good. I heard it’s really expensive. I won’t cost you a lot, will I?”
Xu Wanxing silently prayed that his act was convincing, and that Ji Rongyu would be easy to deceive.
Ji Rongyu curved his lips. Xu Wanxing stared blankly at his face. Truly a god-like face. Just that faint smile made his entire face as radiant as a spring day.
Xu Wanxing quickly withdrew his gaze. No matter how handsome, he was just Ji Rongyu’s admirer. On second thought, Lu Yanbai was more in line with his aesthetic.
Ji Rongyu felt relieved. He ordered the dishes, and they were served quickly. Ji Rongyu pushed all the dishes Xu Wanxing had wanted in front of him.
“Try it. This tastes pretty good.”
Ji Rongyu’s eyes held an unnoticeable pity and sympathy when he looked at Xu Wanxing, but Xu Wanxing was particularly sensitive to this look.
Eating the familiar dishes, Xu Wanxing suspected Ji Rongyu pitied him for never having eaten such food. The last time he saw this kind of look was when Lu Yanbai gave him a phone and took him to eat.
He had voluntarily shown Lu Yanbai a photo of his cabbage mixed with plain rice.
Now that he was rich and didn’t have to eat that anymore, seeing someone pity him like this, Xu Wanxing strangely felt a sense of guilt.
