Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 9
The moment their lips met.
Shen Jiayan felt a thrill course through every pore of her body this was the taste, the temperature, the sensation.
It had appeared countless times in her dreams, keeping her awake and consumed by longing.
Now, she finally tasted it again.
The same was true for Su Sui.
She felt an overwhelming surge of strength, wanting nothing more than to fiercely tear apart the person in front of her.
But…
She couldn’t, she could only bite down on the syllables of the words.
“Jiayan…”
Su Sui called out the name repeatedly, as if trying to brand it onto her soul.
Shen Jiayan released her lips, and in a moment of gasping for breath, her hand covered Su Sui’s moist lips and she slowly said, “Now I ask, and you answer.”
What would Shen Jiayan ask?
About their feelings?
Like, ‘Do you like me?’
Su Sui didn’t know, nor did she have the energy to think.
Her brain felt as though it had crashed, all her attention focused on the fingertip resting on her lips.
She opened her mouth and bit down on it.
Holding it between her teeth, gently grinding, like an attempt to please, or perhaps to tease.
Su Sui mumbled a response, “Okay, ask.”
Upon receiving the answer, Shen Jiayan’s heart violently trembled, and she leaned in to meet those lips again.
After a delicate taste: “Was it you who caused Shen Shihao’s fall from the horse?”
The person beneath her visibly stiffened.
As punishment, Shen Jiayan bit down hard. The tender skin broke, letting out the scent of blood.
“Yes…” Su Sui attempted to explain: “Shen Shihao did it on purpose, he deliberately tried to provoke trouble between us, so…”
Shen Jiayan licked away the bead of blood, then leaned close to Su Sui’s ear, her voice filled with excitement.
“Tell me, did his expression at that time show fear like Fu Jing’s?”
In an instant, Su Sui understood Shen Jiayan’s desire.
Something she had always desperately craved.
The thrill of revenge.
This craving was like a caged bird’s longing for the sunlight and rain outside, its yearning to fly, to soar.
And she had effortlessly provided it for Shen Jiayan.
“Yes,” Su Sui answered.
The breathing next to her ear noticeably quickened.
A never before felt rush of pleasure and stimulation poured over Shen Jiayan from head to toe. It was as if she were a demon nourished by this feeling.
Satisfied, yet greedy…
Shen Jiayan lightly bit Su Sui’s ear: “Tell me!”
“I want to hear everything.”
“I want to hear every detail of the scene!”
The sun was high in the sky, and outside the window, the rain had long stopped, giving way to clear skies.
Sunlight pierced through the glass, cutting through the thin sheer curtains and casting its rays into the room.
It illuminated the two bodies tightly entwined.
Their skin touched, sweat intermingling, almost fusing them into one.
Shen Jiayan’s exposed back was covered in streaks of red scratch marks and dark red hickeys.
These were the evidence left by Su Sui last night.
Her sleep had always been light; the slightest movement would wake her, especially sensitive to Su Ma’s footsteps.
Early this morning, she heard Su Ma pacing outside Shen Jiayan’s bedroom door.
She naturally understood the mother’s anxiety.
To watch your own daughter sleep with a person she loathed for a whole night she certainly couldn’t have slept peacefully.
Yet, Su Ma was not the only one who couldn’t sleep peacefully she herself was another.
In Su Sui’s memory, ever since she could remember, she had never had a secure night’s sleep.
Su Ma had a terrible temper, and the slightest displeasure would lead her to take it out on Su Sui. Even when the young girl had fallen into a deep sleep, she would be dragged out of bed and slapped until her mother was satisfied.
Especially during the period when Su Ma had her plastic surgery.
Without money for painkillers, Su Ma transferred all that pain onto her.
Back then, she didn’t know how to endure; when hungry, she would only cry and call for Mommy. That day, not only did she not get to fill her stomach, but she was met with a brutal beating from Su Ma, followed by being thrown into the dark, lightless closet to kneel.
“Brat, if you dare cry out, I’ll abandon you completely.”
In the pitch black closet, not a single ray of light could be seen. She covered her mouth and dared not cry out again, but the memory of that unpleasant, damp, and decaying smell felt as if it were etched into her bones.
To this day, whenever she enters a dark area, that scent of death lingers beneath her nostrils.
And she had lived through days like this for a full five years. If it hadn’t been for Shen Jiayan…
Perhaps sensing the tension in her body, the person in her arms stirred.
The circulating air carried Shen Jiayan’s scent, entering her nasal cavity.
Even though she had read countless essays and poetry collections, both domestic and foreign, she still couldn’t use words to describe what that scent was like it could be suffocating, it could inspire willing submission.
Su Sui gazed at Shen Jiayan, her eyes filled with a misty look.
She subconsciously reached out, groping to caress her face, her cool fingertips roaming over the skin.
This must be the taste of destiny.
“You’re getting bolder and bolder.”
Although Shen Jiayan’s eyes were closed, her hand tightly grabbed Su Sui’s wrist.
Her nails dug deep into Su Sui’s flesh, her fingertips white, showing the effort she put into the grip.
Su Sui’s expression slightly changed but she didn’t struggle, letting Shen Jiayan hold her without a sound, not even raising an eyebrow, as silent and still as a stone.
Shen Jiayan suddenly felt bored. Disappointed, she withdrew her hand and sat up, stretching her sore neck.
“Tell me, why did you think I disliked you?”
Su Sui didn’t know why Shen Jiayan brought this up.
Why she thought she was disliked.
Her gaze fell on the dark red patch on Shen Jiayan’s chest.
It was the reason she felt heartbroken then; now, it seemed somewhat overdramatic and affected.
The sudden ring of a phone broke the silence.
Shen Jiayan casually glanced at the caller ID it was Zhang Xiujie.
“Hello,” she pressed the answer button.
After a brief conversation, she hung up.
She hadn’t expected Zhang Xiujie to be so efficient.
The procedures that took others a week of hard work, he had completed with a few simple phone calls, even securing the business license.
Shen Jiayan tossed the phone aside, got out of bed, and, completely naked, walked straight into the bathroom to wash up, not bothering to avoid Su Sui.
By the time she came out, Su Sui had already dressed and thoughtfully prepared an outfit for her, holding it out.
Shen Jiayan took it and put it on.
“You change too, and come out with me.”
As the two were tidied up and leaving, they passed the living room.
Fu Jing, who was having afternoon tea, spoke up: “Jiayan, you’re up? Waking up so late, you must be starving, right?”
Shen Jiayan felt a surge of disgust just looking at her, and she steered Su Sui toward the door.
No sooner had they left than Fu Jing picked up her phone, dialed a number, and said to the person on the other end, “She’s left. Keep close.”
“Sister, you can trust me to handle things.”
After hanging up, a victorious smile spread across Fu Jing’s face.
“Little bastard, let’s see how long you can be so arrogant.”
Her initial plan was to use the deep sea fishing trip to completely eliminate Shen Jiayan, but the little bastard was too sharp.
However, Su Ma’s unusual behavior last night made her sense something fishy.
As a mother, she knew too well that the look of love and pity in a mother’s eyes for her child couldn’t be faked.
Su Ma directed this look toward Shen Jiayan. Yet, she looked at her own biological daughter as if she were a wild beast, eager to avoid her.
Her intuition told her a secret lay hidden among these three people.
And that secret had to be with Su Ma.
Fu Jing glanced at the time, let out a cold snort, and walked towards the housekeeper’s room on the first floor.
Pushing the door open, she saw Su Ma fast asleep on the bed, unresponsive.
Shen Shihao, wearing white gloves, had turned the small room almost upside down and was now sitting on the floor, breathing heavily.
“Forget Su Sui’s birth certificate, I didn’t even find a small sock or shoe. Mom, are you mistaken?”
Fu Jing walked into the room, glancing at the unconscious Su Ma.
How could a mother not keep anything related to her child?
If Shen Shihao had found it so easily, she would have questioned whether her suspicions were wrong.
The current situation only further confirmed her guess.
If there was no physical evidence, then they might as well create some.
Fu Jing picked up the fruit knife on the table and sliced Su Ma’s finger.
Su Sui was driving, but her eyes kept checking the rearview mirror.
Ever since they left the manor, they had been followed by a black sedan.
Su Sui pursed her lips and tightened her grip on the steering wheel.
“Jiayan, you’ve been cooped up at home for so long. The weather is nice today; why don’t I take you to the commercial district?”
“Good.”
Shen Jiayan gave Su Sui a half-smile, then turned her gaze to the rearview mirror.
She realized she wasn’t the only one who had noticed the suspicious car. Moreover, they had both come to the same conclusion regarding how to deal with it.
Su Sui, having received the response, didn’t say anything more and immediately floored the accelerator.
The car behind also sped up, giving chase.
After a few maneuvers, the other car remained firmly on their tail.
One hour later.
Su Sui stopped on a busy street, and the two got out, walking toward the commercial district.
The black sedan also stopped in a nearby location.
Four burly men sat in the car.
They were all dressed in black suits and black leather shoes.
One of the men rested his arms on the window ledge, watching Su Sui and Shen Jiayan through the windshield.
“Brother Lei, they’ve gone in. Should we keep following?”
“Yes. Not only should we follow, but the boss also told us to get some blood from these two delicate little girls.”
The man called Brother Lei curved his lips into a sinister smile.
“Brother Lei, it’s broad daylight; how are we supposed to make them bleed?!”
Hearing this, Brother Lei cursed under his breath: How the hell am I supposed to know how!
Who knew these two girls would come here? Not only is it crowded, but there are constantly police officers patrolling the streets to maintain order. It’s really annoying.
When the chance arose, he was definitely going to teach them a lesson.
It wasn’t until Su Sui and Shen Jiayan disappeared behind a shop window that Brother Lei instructed one of them to continue the pursuit.
“You go follow them. The rest of you, come with me.”
