Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 46
The woman finished speaking with an expressionless face and closed the door, giving Shen Jiayan no chance to ask another question.
Shen Jiayan stared at the pink wooden door before her, her eyes losing focus.
For the first time in her life, she felt a panic and tension of being squeezed out of Su Sui’s world.
This panic and tension were far more intense than when Gao Wei tried to approach Su Sui.
If pushing Su Sui towards Gao Qiang was a willing retreat on her part, then this time, she was being blatantly snatched away by this unidentified woman!
Moreover, there was still no explanation for the despicable and vulgar means Su Sui used to take her by force last night. Yet, she had immediately gone to be alone in a room with another woman, claiming it was inconvenient!
Today, she was determined to see just what kind of “inconvenience” it was.
Inside the room, Mo Chenlin closed the door and walked into the sitting room. She glanced at Su Sui on the sofa, who was applying medicine to herself, and quickly averted her eyes when she saw Su Sui’s exposed leg.
The speed was as if she had seen something dirty.
“Is she the person you’ve been desperately searching for three years?” Mo Chenlin asked this while tightly gripping the seams of her trousers.
“Yes,” Su Sui replied without looking up. “Did you contact the hospital for me?”
“I contacted a few places,” Mo Chenlin let out a long sigh, paused, and continued, “However, given your crazy idea, I doubt any hospital would take you on.”
After all, it involved peeling the retina from a living person’s eyeball.
“Crazy?” Su Sui let out a dismissive laugh. “I was already very restrained.”
Mo Chenlin looked at Su Sui with a dark expression, watching her quietly.
Counting from when they first met, they had known each other for four years.
The first time Mo Chenlin saw Su Sui was outside the consultation room of the clinical psychologist, Shirley. Su Sui was surrounded by four or five bodyguards, and Mo Chenlin still remembered her gloomy and terrifying eyes like a malevolent spirit that could pounce and bite you to death at any moment.
“You inflicted this injury on yourself with a knife, didn’t you?” Mo Chenlin stared at Su Sui’s wound, her tone indifferent. “Although it’s not deep, causing yourself so much trouble… Why must you suppress your true nature and be so cruel to yourself?”
Su Sui paused in her movements.
She felt that hearing these words from Mo Chenlin’s mouth sounded incredibly sarcastic. A person who was supposedly guarding her chastity for her future sister-in-law, desperately suppressing her libido, how could she dare to encourage Su Sui to release her true nature?
If Su Sui’s self-punishment after being unable to control her nature and hurting Shen Jiayan was considered cruelty, then Mo Chenlin’s self-restraint of her own nature was hundreds of times crueler than hers.
However, Mo Chenlin’s dark bellied nature of enjoying chaos was too obvious to even bother hiding.
Thinking of this, Su Sui looked up at Mo Chenlin. “What is your future sister-in-law’s name?”
Mo Chenlin: “…”
“Is it Lin Muxi, right?” As Su Sui spoke, she indeed saw a fleeting expression of lonely longing flash across Mo Chenlin’s icy face, just from mentioning the name of her beloved.
The libido disorder was truly an interesting illness, too bad the person suffering from it wasn’t Shen Jiayan. Otherwise…
“Su Su.” Just then, the tightly closed door was opened from the outside by Shen Jiayan’s voice.
Shen Jiayan stood at the entrance to the sitting room, holding a room key card she had somehow obtained, with her arms crossed, staring fixedly at her and Mo Chenlin. Finally, her gaze fell upon Su Sui’s exposed leg.
Su Sui quickly pulled down her skirt to cover the horrific sight.
In Shen Jiayan’s eyes, this action looked like an act of a guilty conscience. Thus, Shen Jiayan became even more convinced that Su Sui was involved with this woman of unknown origin.
Mo Chenlin glanced at the two women, turned around, and added fuel to the fire for Su Sui. She left a vague and ambiguous remark, “Su Sui, next time, go a little lighter,” then stepped out in her high heels. She even thoughtfully closed the door for them and blocked Gao Wei, who had followed her, from entering.
With Mo Chenlin gone, only Shen Jiayan and Su Sui remained in the room.
Shen Jiayan looked at Su Sui sitting lazily and freely on the sofa, even sporting a hint of a casual smile on her lips, which only fueled her anger. After a moment, she finally calmed down, walked in slowly, and sat on the single sofa.
She crossed her legs, leaned back on the sofa, and lazily glanced at Su Sui. “Su Sui, so this is what your so called love amounts to.”
Su Sui lowered her eyes and remained silent.
Seeing this, Shen Jiayan contemptuously curled her lips, reached up to play with her bangs, and sneered, “I thought you were so infatuated with me, but in the end, hah, it was all just talk.”
“…”
Su Sui still did not speak. She slightly turned her head, looking out the floor to ceiling window, as if she hadn’t heard Shen Jiayan’s words at all.
This made Shen Jiayan even more furious. She got up from the sofa, walked in front of Su Sui, and leaned over her. “What? Did last night’s medicine make you mute?! Or did I hit the nail on the head with what’s in your heart, leaving you speechless?”
She gripped Su Sui’s delicate jaw with one hand and slapped her shoulder hard with the other. “Don’t think I can’t do anything to you just because you’re pretending to be foolish.”
Shen Jiayan’s strength was considerable the slap made Su Sui wince in pain. However, despite the pain, it couldn’t compare to the secret satisfaction in her heart. She hadn’t expected the poker faced Mo Chenlin to be somewhat useful. Just by showing up, she had made Shen Jiayan feel a sense of crisis.
Su Sui slowly lifted her eyelids. They were too close, their breaths mingling.
Su Sui suddenly leaned close to Shen Jiayan and blew a puff of warm air into her ear. “You’re jealous.”
She said this in a gentle and ambiguous tone, as if Shen Jiayan’s previous sharp words had never existed, leaving only the faint, subtle emotions between them.
Shen Jiayan’s face flushed slightly, and she abruptly let go and stood up. “Jealous of you? In your next life!”
Su Sui chuckled softly without speaking, quietly watching her. Shen Jiayan sensed a certain meaning in her gaze. She turned her head to look at the oil painting on the wall a sunset. She stared at the sunset glow for a long time, then let out a few deep breaths.
When she turned back, Shen Jiayan had regained her cold arrogance. “What exactly did you put in the cream last night?”
Su Sui stood up, walked directly in front of her, a slight curve on her lips. She lifted Shen Jiayan’s chin teasingly, saying, “Why don’t you guess?” As she spoke, she kept caressing Shen Jiayan’s lips with her fingertips.
Shen Jiayan gritted her teeth and glared at Su Sui, slapping her hand away. “Su Sui! Stop provoking me, or believe it or not, I’ll…”
“Believe it or not, I’ll what?” Su Sui retorted with a smile. “Hmm?” Her voice was soft, sweet, and slightly raised at the end, making it even more bright and alluring. It even brought up the events of the previous night, making them rush through Shen Jiayan’s mind.
She quickly drove those images from her mind, her eyes gradually cooling as she looked at Su Sui. “I originally thought you had really changed. Who knew you would become increasingly despicable and shameless.”
Su Sui gazed at her, her expression unreadable. After a long moment, she finally relaxed her smile a bit. She released her arms, which had been around Shen Jiayan’s waist, directly picked up the fruit knife from the coffee table, placed it in Shen Jiayan’s palm, and pressed her hand against her own shoulder.
“That’s right, I am despicable and shameless. I used dirty and vulgar means to spend a night together. I don’t ask for your forgiveness, nor dare I. So…”
As she spoke, Shen Jiayan noticed the force with which Su Sui squeezed her hand increased slightly. The next second, Su Sui gripped her wrist and moved to stab herself in the shoulder. Fortunately, Shen Jiayan reacted quickly and pushed Su Sui to the ground, thus avoiding any bleeding incident.
She looked at Su Sui lying on the floor, then at the fruit knife in her hand. Shen Jiayan’s expression calmed down. She looked down at Su Sui from above and said, “Su Sui, you truly are a hopeless lunatic.”
Upon hearing Shen Jiayan utter the words hopeless lunatic. Su Sui lowered her eyes, concealing the fleeting pain within. She stood up and bowed slightly towards Shen Jiayan in apology: “Then I am truly sorry to have disappointed you.”
Her tone was still cool and gentle, as if nothing had happened just now. But only she knew that her heart was being slowly tortured by those four words from a moment ago.
Hopeless… She was indeed hopeless!
From then on, Shen Jiayan and Su Sui entered a cold war.
Shen Jiayan had originally brought Gao Wei back to the country, but their passports were in Su Sui’s hands. She didn’t want to ask her for them, and even less did she want to see her. Unexpectedly, Su Sui was even more distant, unwilling to share a dining table with them even for meals.
Gao Wei glanced at Su Sui, who was sitting at an adjacent table elegantly eating a steak, and then at Shen Jiayan across from her, and silently lowered her head. She always felt the atmosphere these past few days was strange, as if there was a serious conflict between the two. She secretly glanced at Shen Jiayan, only to see her face looking unpleasant and radiating a cold aura. She couldn’t help but shiver. She quietly moved her chair closer to Shen Jiayan and whispered, “Sis, what’s going on? Why does it feel like your conflict is growing?”
After speaking, she couldn’t help but glance at Su Sui at the next table. Seeing that Su Sui was still maintaining the same posture, completely motionless, she suddenly felt a chill down her spine. Both of them were like carrying an air conditioner with them. Scary, scary. She moved her seat again, shifting slightly to the side, trying to put some distance between herself and Shen Jiayan to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
Shen Jiayan glanced at Gao Wei but didn’t speak. She just cut the steak on her plate into tiny pieces.
What’s going on? How would she know? Although she felt that Su Sui using medicine on her was quite underhanded, and she was indeed very angry at the time, upon further thought, she had done many excessive things to Su Sui in the past. Su Sui’s actions now were merely retaliation, an eye for an eye. Furthermore, she had actually enjoyed the intimacy of that night quite a bit. She would even find herself unable to resist reminiscing in the quiet of the night. Therefore, she hadn’t taken it too seriously. Because of this, she had considered sitting down with Su Sui to have a proper talk and mend their relationship. But given the other party’s clear attitude of not wanting to deal with her, she wasn’t going to humble herself to go after her. As a result, their relationship became as stiff as stagnant water, which neither could move. This situation continued until 6 PM.
