Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 13
In the dim maid’s room, when Su Sui spoke the thought in Su Ma’s heart, a dead silence fell.
Does not speaking mean tacit agreement?
Su Sui looked down at the woman kneeling on the floor.
She was wearing simple gray cloth clothes, with gray hair at her temples. Kneeling on the cold, hard tiles, with her head bowed, she looked incredibly humble.
Gone was the arrogance she used to display when she abused her.
People, ah, are truly strange.
They always presumptuously believe that by simply kneeling down, bowing their heads, and admitting a mistake.
They can lightly cover up the wrongdoings committed before, yet completely ignore the fact that the wounds branded on others will eventually turn into scars.
Su Sui dragged the stool, the friction producing an extremely harsh sound.
That sound, pouring into Su Ma’s ears, was like a vicious ghost crawling out of hell sharpening its fangs.
She kept her head down and did not look up, unable to shift her gaze in the slightest, even her breathing became slow and heavy.
Her whole nerve system was stretched taut like a wire.
“Didn’t I tell you?”
Following Su Sui’s words, a searing pain shot through Su Ma’s fingertips pressed against the floor.
She was about to cry out, but Su Sui quickly covered her mouth: “Wuwu…”
“Shhh.” Su Sui looked at her with a smile.
But those eyes full of smiles were clearly like snakes steeped in venom, chilling to the bone.
“If you want to take Jiayan away safely, then don’t shout.”
Her voice was very soft, but her tone was filled with coldness.
Shen Ma’s body stiffened, and she dared not move again, watching wide-eyed as Su Sui sat down on the stool.
The legs of the stool were neither too big nor too small, but they perfectly covered the center of Su Ma’s hand.
Her palm was firmly pressed down, yet she could only grit her teeth and endure.
Shen Ma stared in horror at Su Sui, who was sitting on the stool, elegantly crossing her legs, leaning forward, resting her chin on her hand, and scrutinizing her.
“Tell me, why did you suddenly decide to take Jiayan away?”
After only a few clear days in May, the weather was gloomy and overcast again today, looking like rain was coming.
Early in the morning, Shen Wenshan arrived, spoke a few words with Fu Jing. Then, he mysteriously led Shen Shihao to the study.
Although Shen Jiayan didn’t know what the uncle and nephew discussed in the study.
She did manage to overhear a few things from Fu Jing and Shen Wenshan’s driver.
It was said that a small company suddenly emerged in M City during the past few weeks, getting close with the top leaders and snatching many small projects from Shen’s Group, causing the stock price to drop several points.
Shen Wenshan was afraid that the Zhang family would also be poached, so he brought a heavy gift to visit the head of the Zhang family early that morning.
But let alone sending the gift, the Zhang family refused to see Shen Wenshan at all. They didn’t even bother to answer his call.
Shen Wenshan was extremely annoyed after being turned away.
But Shen Jiayan’s mood, on the other hand, greatly improved because of this.
Good enough to eat an extra bowl of rice.
Thinking of eating, Shen Jiayan frowned.
Su Ma’s hand was injured, and the task of cooking had completely fallen to Su Sui, the master of disastrous cooking, these days.
The moment Shen Jiayan thought of the food Su Sui cooked, she had a headache.
It was simply comparable to a refugee mess hall from hell, the taste was simply indescribable, and eating too much would even cause waves of pain in her stomach.
She just couldn’t understand why Su Sui, as Su Ma’s daughter, was completely clueless about cooking.
It made her, who had never lifted a finger in the kitchen, want to try cooking and stir-frying to see just how difficult it was.
Shen Jiayan had always been a doer, acting on impulse without considering the consequences.
As soon as the idea popped into her head, she quickly found a bunch of recipes online and started studying them.
When Su Sui returned from outside, she saw Shen Jiayan, for the first time, holding a kitchen knife and focused on cutting vegetables.
Her knife skills were terrible; she always cut things crookedly, making a mess everywhere.
Looking closely, one could even spot several cuts on her fingers.
“You’re hurt.”
Su Sui hurriedly put down the things in her hand on the counter, grabbing Shen Jiayan’s hand to check the injuries.
Fortunately, the injuries were not serious, just cuts that only needed a band-aid.
“It’s nothing.”
Shen Jiayan pulled her hand back and glanced at the plastic-sealed bag Su Sui had placed on the counter.
“What’s in there?”
“Nothing.” Su Sui took the knife and casually made up an excuse: “Su Ma’s check-up report.”
Shen Jiayan shifted her gaze back to the plastic-sealed bag on the counter. It was indeed impossible to see what was inside from the outside.
But…
“Didn’t she finish all the check-ups, why is there still a report?”
Shen Jiayan said and reached out to grab it.
But before she could look, Su Sui moved the bag aside: “Something that was missed last time.”
A hint of suspicion showed in Shen Jiayan’s eyes.
Missed?
As if sensing Shen Jiayan’s suspicion.
Su Sui quickly added: “It’s nothing important, just a blood test slip.”
But this addition rather gave the impression of trying to conceal something.
She didn’t expect that Su Sui, who had always been completely open with her, would one day become reserved.
And why was Su Sui reserved? Was she planning revenge in secret, like everyone else?
Shen Jiayan twitched her lips.
She lowered her eyes, concealing the sarcasm on her face: “Is that so.”
Her voice was faint, without any ripple.
But Su Sui still keenly captured the subtle change in her. This change struck the most vulnerable part deep in Su Sui’s chest.
She lowered her eyelids, obscuring the unusual look in her eyes: “You go rest, I’ll take care of this.”
“No need.” Shen Jiayan pushed Su Sui aside, picked up the knife, and continued cutting vegetables: “I don’t like others doing things for me, especially you.”
She didn’t care that her words were like a sharp sword, fiercely stabbing into the deepest part of Su Sui’s heart.
With a clean chop of the knife, she effortlessly cut a whole piece of beef in two. As if venting all her dissatisfaction on the beef.
Shen Jiayan looked at Su Sui, who was silent, standing there quietly, and said testily: “Get out, don’t stand here blocking my way.”
Su Sui pursed her lips, took the plastic-sealed bag, turned around, and walked out. Before reaching the door, she looked back and said: “You don’t have to guard against me. I will never harm you.”
Her tone was very calm.
But it made Shen Jiayan feel as if someone had grabbed her heart.
The pain made her want to lash out.
She tossed the knife aside, turned around, grabbed Su Sui’s collar, and slammed her against the refrigerator.
“Who is guarding against who!” Shen Jiayan questioned in a low voice: “You know better than me what’s in that plastic sealed bag, don’t you!”
Su Sui lowered her eyes, remaining silent.
This only made the fire in Shen Jiayan’s chest burn hotter. Her hand, which was simply grabbing the collar, now directly locked onto Su Sui’s slender neck.
“Have I been too good to you lately? That you’ve forgotten who your mistress is! Otherwise, how dare you use such a clumsy lie to put me off!”
Shen Jiayan stared at her, gritting her teeth, saying one word at a time: “Either give me the plastic-sealed bag, or tell me what’s inside!”
As soon as she finished speaking, she heard Shen Wenshan and Shen Shihao talking as they walked out of the study.
“This matter isn’t over, come to my room tonight.”
After Shen Jiayan said this, she quickly released her hand from Su Sui’s neck, walked out of the kitchen, and greeted Shen Wenshan with a smile.
Su Sui hurriedly greeted Shen Wenshan, then took the plastic sealed bag and returned to the maid’s room.
Inside the maid’s room, Su Ma was sitting on the bed with a worried look.
When she saw Su Sui holding the plastic sealed bag she had secretly placed in Shen Wenshan’s car that morning, she began to tremble uncontrollably.
Su Sui sat on the edge of the bed and opened the plastic sealed bag in front of her.
She took out a photo, a birth certificate, and a handwritten confession from Su Ma.
It meticulously recorded, stroke by stroke, why Su Ma had switched the children, how she had swapped them, how she had abused her, and how she had approached her biological daughter.
Su Sui looked at this confession full of remorse, her eyes growing colder.
If she hadn’t been suspicious this morning, this document would probably have been discovered by Shen Wenshan.
If that had happened, given Shen Wenshan’s temper, he would certainly have driven Shen Jiayan out.
Just by a little, just by a little.
She had almost completely lost Shen Jiayan.
And all of this was the fault of the self-proclaimed smart Su Ma, who tried to correct the chaos and steal Jiayan from her side.
“How could you carelessly place such an important thing.”
The confession was crumpled into a ball and held out to Su Ma: “Open your mouth.”
Although Su Ma was extremely reluctant, she could only comply with Su Sui’s intention and opened her mouth.
The paper ball was completely stuffed into her mouth.
“What you’ve done should rot in your stomach.” Su Sui said, picking up the flimsy birth certificate and the double photo, and shoving them into Su Ma’s mouth.
Only after watching Su Ma swallow everything did she feel relieved.
She looked at Su Ma, whose face was covered in tears, and said coldly: “If you have any other crooked thoughts, I can’t guarantee what incredible things I might do.”
Su Sui finished speaking and was about to leave.
But Su Ma grabbed her clothes: “Just let her leave the Shen family, she won’t be happy staying here. I beg you, let my daughter go, you can take revenge on me however you want, even take my life, just don’t take revenge on my daughter, she knows nothing, she is innocent.”
Revenge?
Hearing this word, Su Sui smiled.
She loved her with all her life, so how could she take revenge?
Late at night.
When Su Sui pushed open Shen Jiayan’s door as scheduled.
She saw her leaning against the window in a bathrobe, holding her long unused whip in one hand and a cigarette in the other, smoke curling and rising into the air.
Seeing Su Sui arrive empty handed.
She looked up slightly, then shifted her gaze to the dark sky and said, “Take them off, and crawl over like a dog.”
Her tone carried a hint of arrogance, like a high and mighty queen.
Yes, this is the tone, this is the demeanor.
Her Shen Jiayan should be like this.
And can only be like this.
Su Sui’s lips gradually curved upwards, she stripped off her clothes, and obediently crawled on the floor.
Step by step, she advanced towards her Queen.
