Not A Stupid Beauty [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 2
With the alpha’s soft coaxing, Shi Yu no longer felt afraid. She clung to the woman’s neck, obediently resting against her shoulder.
She wasn’t clever, and she didn’t know if this was right or wrong—but she didn’t want to stop.
If it was a mistake, then she hoped no one would ever correct it.
A sting at her ear, damp breaths brushing against her skin… the heat in her chest grew more frantic.
The alpha kissed her slowly, as though to soothe her, and aside from her deepening breaths, there was little change in her composure.
Shiyu tilted her head to look at her, tracing the line of her jaw with a fingertip. From the tip of her chin, her touch slid down to the faint curve of her throat, pressing lightly against Adam’s apple.
The alpha caught her hand, lowering her eyes to meet Shiyu’s. Those eyes burned red, swirling with something hidden and dangerous. Desire.
Staring into them was like staring into a vortex. Shiyu couldn’t look away—she was being pulled under.
This alpha was simply too beautiful. Of course she was entranced; that had to be the reason.
So she excused herself in her heart, brushed her finger across the woman’s skin, and raised her chin to peck her lips.
Just a touch, soft as dragonflies skimming water. One kiss, then another—each one made Jiang Qiuyan’s heart itch unbearably.
“Tempting me like this… have you thought about the consequences?”
Her voice was rough, scorched by heat, every word heavier than the last. By the time her gaze locked fully onto Shiyu’s lips, the final syllable fell, and so did her mouth.
Her kiss was urgent, hungry, sweeping Shi Yu along like autumn winds stripping the trees.
Their lips and teeth tangled, breaths entangled, Shi Yu’s sweet floral scent merging with the alpha’s sharp pine-and-frost. The blend only stoked their heat further.
Sweat beaded on Shi Yu’s skin, turning her pheromones into a heady cloud that filled every corner.
Jiang Qiuyan lifted her as if she were nothing more than a kitten, pressing her close. One hand cradled the back of her head, the other cinched tight around her slender waist.
She really was like a kitten—her waist was so thin one arm could circle it completely.
“Mm—”
Shi Yu gave a soft, dissatisfied sound, nipping at the alpha’s lower lip.
Jiang Qiuyan glanced at her. “What is it?”
Burying her face against her neck, Shi Yu murmured so faintly it was barely audible: “Don’t… don’t drag it out. Hurry…”
Her cheeks burned even redder as her voice dwindled into shyness. Qiuyan almost didn’t hear her words, but her expression said everything: the little cat was urging her on.
Her kisses trailed downward, lingering at her collarbone, teeth grazing the delicate bone. Her hand wandered Shi Yu’s spine, tracing every dip.
Shi Yu arched faintly, tears welling in her wide, round eyes. She looked heartbreakingly fragile.
“Hurts?” Qiuyan whispered.
Shi Yu shook her head, pressing down on the hand that threatened to withdraw.
Qiuyan gathered her back into her arms, kissing her eyelids with a tenderness that held both pity and possession.
Under the dual haze of pheromones and an alpha’s claim, Shi Yu’s tears wouldn’t stop. Each time they fell, Qiuyan kissed them away, until her face was covered with kisses.
When Shi Yu finally stopped crying, the kisses didn’t stop.
Qiuyan had never been with anyone before, never learned how to handle an omega. Shi Yu looked delicate enough to break—if she wasn’t gentle, she really might.
But Shi Yu pouted and demanded more kisses. Qiuyan’s response was fierce, so fierce that Shiyu couldn’t even breathe. Her vision blurred, her face flushed scarlet, starved for air.
Shi Yu had never eaten well growing up, and her body bore the marks of malnutrition. Small, light, curled up into a trembling bundle—Qiuyan could hardly put her down. She wanted to savor every inch.
Pressed so tightly together, Shi Yu could hear the alpha’s heartbeat. She didn’t know if it was just the fever driving her, or if it was truly for her.
Her hand brushed against Qiuyan’s chest unconsciously. The touch made the alpha lose control again, biting her shoulder and chest as if she couldn’t help herself.
Shi Yu cried out, trying weakly to push her away—but her trembling hands only seemed to draw her closer.
Qiuyan’s eyes flicked up once, then she bent again, lips sucking and teasing with wet insistence.
Shiyu’s reason burned to ashes. Sweat drenched her body; she was exhausted, trembling on the edge of breaking.
“I… I can’t—any more—”
The protest was swallowed by another kiss, sweet liquid sliding down her throat. Shi Yu thought she would finally be spared—only to realize this was only the beginning.
Outside, the rain came down harder, wind rattling the windows. The air inside grew thicker, wetter, their pheromones fermenting into something unbearably intoxicating.
Shi Yu buried her face in the pillow, clutching the sheets with burning hands. Her tears soaked through the white fabric until it sagged heavily at the edges.
The blanket had fallen to the floor long ago, back when she’d tried to escape.
It had only been a month since she arrived in this world. She had barely pieced together its rules: alpha, beta, omega—their glands, their pheromones—but otherwise, weren’t they just like ordinary people?
How foolish.
Just breathing in an alpha’s pheromones made her weak all over, dissolving her reason. In this situation, her bones itched with heat, leaving her no resistance at all.
She regretted not leaving when Qiuyan first offered her the chance.
A hand slid under her chin, tilting her face. Hot breath spilled over her glands, and she froze.
“What are you thinking? Am I not working hard enough, that your mind can wander now?”
Her reply was swallowed in another kiss. Qiuyan’s sharp pine scent enveloped her, giving her clouded mind a fleeting calm.
That scent—it was faint and crisp, like evergreen needles in snow. Cold, yet brimming with life.
Shiyu turned her head to kiss back, but her neck ached from the angle. With a single arm around her waist, Qiuyan pulled her back into her lap.
Sweat glued them together. On that vast bed, they were inseparable.
Shiyu tilted her head back, eyes red and watery, her nose twitching with each breath. She looked unbearably cute.
“Please… spare me. I’m so tired…”
Her voice was hoarse, her tone utterly drained.
Qiuyan’s gaze shifted, a hint of excitement flashing through as she pressed a hard kiss to her flushed cheek.
“You make it sound like I’m bullying you. Isn’t this pleasure for both of us?”
Her nose nuzzled against Shi Yu’s ear, distracting her, hiding her true intent.
By the time Shi Yu realized, it was already too late.
The alpha loved kissing—again and again, she wouldn’t let her go. Until Shi Yu’s throat was raw, her lips swollen, her tongue numb.
Her lips, once soft pink, were now flushed and bright like a strawberry, too tempting to look at. Qiuyan stared for a long moment before dragging her gaze away.
If she kept kissing, the little cat might cry again.
So she kissed elsewhere instead.
Shi Yu’s eyes flew open, pupils shrinking. She tried to push her away, trembling—but Qiuyan caught her hand, guiding it to her lips for a teasing kiss.
“What’s this? Do you want to try it yourself?”
Shiyu had no chance to say no before the alpha pulled her into mischief. Tears spilled hot and fast down her cheeks, leaving her looking pitiful and wronged.
Her crying jolted Qiuyan back. The fever clouding her mind retreated, reason forcing its way back in. She quickly gathered Shiyu up, soothing her in a soft voice.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have ignored you. Don’t cry, sweetheart, please?”
Shiyu’s moods shifted as quickly as they came. The alpha’s gentleness was enough to calm her, drying her tears almost instantly.
She felt strange about herself—but didn’t know that omegas were born to rely on alphas, especially in heat.
She knew this gentleness wouldn’t last. Once the fever overtook her again, Qiuyan would be just as relentless as before. Yet, she wasn’t afraid.
Her eyes lifted toward the alpha. Their gazes met, and their lips followed, heat rising between them once more.
Time slowed, dawn nowhere in sight.
Qiuyan held her in her lap like a child, lips brushing the gland at her nape, the threat of a mark simmering between them.
Shi Yu whimpered and twisted, only to be pressed harder, each struggle making things worse.
She wasn’t well-versed in this world, but she knew one truth: an omega’s glands weren’t to be touched lightly, especially not by an alpha.
Alphas could mark many omegas, but an omega could only be marked once. If she was claimed, her life would never be her own again.
Jiang Qiuyan only laughed at her futile resistance.
So cute. She wanted to take her home, raise her like a pet. She’d get along just fine with the kitten there.
Overwhelmed by heat, the alpha’s reason was gone. All that remained was desire, a greed that knew no bounds. At this moment, she didn’t care about Shiyu’s identity or purpose—she was hers.
She kissed the back of Shi Yu’s neck, fingers teasing her soft belly like playing with a cat.
Shi Yu curled tighter, shrinking into a trembling ball, soft as spun sugar. Her unconscious whimpers carried both protest and need.
Qiuyan nipped her ear, smiling as she whispered,
“Have you forgotten what I told you, little one?”
Shi Yu’s head was heavy, her thoughts sluggish. She turned and kissed her, voice sweet and muzzy. “You told me… to call your name.”
Qiuyan chuckled, brushing her lips with her own. The entire night, not once had this omega spoken her name—that displeased her a little.
“Remember. My name is Jiang Qiuyan.”
It was the third time she’d said it.
Shi Yu blinked hazily, following her voice like a dazed child. “Jiang… Yan?”
Qiuyan didn’t bother correcting her. With the little one looking this adorably muddled, she couldn’t stop herself from sinking again.
The rain outside roared harder, wind lashing the windows. Inside, the air grew even heavier, hotter, their pheromones spilling into every corner.
