My Wife, So Fierce! - Chapter 72
Zheng Yao was indeed just as Shen Baiyi had guessed. Having slept for so long, she now felt not the slightest bit drowsy. At the moment, she was idly scrolling through her phone, flipping here and there out of boredom when a notification suddenly chimed from an app.
It might be a new online friend, or perhaps the one she had been chatting with frequently lately.
But whoever it was, they happened to catch her at a moment of boredom, and Zheng Yao didn’t hesitate to tap into the message.
It was the online friend she had been talking to frequently recently.
Ice Cream: [Did you get home safely?]
Zheng Yao’s eyes flickered. She had only casually mentioned a few days ago that she would be returning home today, yet this online friend had remembered.
It seemed like this person always took her words to heart. Sometimes, she herself would forget, but the other party remembered clearly. Just for this reason alone, they had already surpassed all her other online friends.
Before she knew it, she was chatting with them again.
The other person always managed to find topics to keep the conversation from stalling.
In the end, Zheng Yao took the initiative to suggest adding each other on WeChat.
This was a signal that she was open to deepening their connection. Zheng Yao had expected the other person to quickly send their WeChat ID, but ten minutes passed, and the usually instant-replier suddenly fell silent, with no response for a long time.
Had they fallen asleep?
Zheng Yao glanced at the time, it was already past one in the morning. It was indeed very late, and it was entirely possible that the other person had accidentally dozed off.
She put away her phone, found a comfortable position on the bed, and tried to fall asleep. But after lying there for a while, she still felt no trace of drowsiness.
Zheng Yao began to feel a headache coming on. Tomorrow, she still had to pick up her two cats.
Moreover, since she had been away for such a long time, she would also need to find time to go out and buy some things tomorrow.
After a moment’s thought, she rummaged through her room for some calming medication and swallowed it with water.
It was medicine prescribed by a doctor back when she couldn’t move past a certain storyline and suffered from prolonged insomnia. Back then, she had managed to adjust herself before finishing the medication, so she kept the leftovers for emergencies.
It came in handy now.
The room grew quiet, and soon, Zheng Yao’s steady breathing could be heard. The phone on the bedside table suddenly lit up. A while later, the door to the room was gently pushed open from the outside.
Shen Baiyi stood outside the door, staring intently at her sister lying on the bed for a moment. She stepped inside, then turned and gently closed the door.
Using the faint light from her phone screen, she walked to the bedside and stood there silently.
Her sister had sent her an invitation to add her on WeChat. She wasn’t foolish, of course, she could tell what her sister meant.
So, her sister was already planning to deepen her relationship with an online friend she had never met. Did she really hold no place in her sister’s heart?
Even though that online friend was herself, she couldn’t help but feel angry and deeply saddened.
“Sister.”
She knelt down, gently stroking her sister’s face. As she gazed at her sister’s sleeping expression, her heart softened uncontrollably. She couldn’t resist leaning in, pressing her forehead against her sister’s.
Not daring to be too forceful, she kissed her sister softly, her heart racing wildly. Her affection for her sister felt almost overwhelming.
How could someone make her feel so deeply?
In the beginning, she had only wanted to avoid being driven away by her sister. She didn’t know when it started, but she had grown increasingly greedy.
After a moment, she finally released her sister and stepped back slightly.
In the darkness, she couldn’t see her sister’s face clearly, but she could guess that her sister’s lips must be red and swollen.
The pressure had actually been a bit too strong, but her sister didn’t wake up.
She breathed a sigh of relief, yet felt somewhat disappointed.
Truth be told, she had harbored a slight hope that her sister would notice perhaps her mind wasn’t clear enough, but she suddenly wanted to test what would happen if this matter were brought into the open.
The slow boiling of the frog had gone on for too long.
If she had plenty of time, she could continue like this, but she was about to start school. If her relationship with her sister didn’t progress further, they would be separated for a long time. Perhaps, over time, her sister would forget her.
At this thought, her eyes darkened slightly.
She gently turned on the small lamp at the foot of the bed. The light was soft, even somewhat dim, but it was enough for her to see her sister lying on the bed.
Her sister was wearing a white spaghetti strap nightgown today. Because of her side-lying position, the curves of her body became even more pronounced, her waist dipping in a way that was simply captivating.
Shen Baiyi’s eyes darkened. After staring for a few seconds, she quietly climbed onto the bed.
Kneeling on the bed, she didn’t dare to press down on her sister, only reaching out to hold her shoulders and gently turning her onto her back.
Her sister’s beautiful face was now fully exposed before her.
She could no longer restrain herself and carefully lowered her head.
It had been a long time since she had been this close to her sister. Though she intended to be gentle, in a moment of carelessness, her actions inevitably became less tender.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed the back of her head.
Shen Baiyi froze in terror, her heart pounding like thunder.
For a moment, she forgot to move, but her sister’s hand had already gripped her hair. With a hint of dissatisfaction, her sister mumbled:
“Xiao Bai, be gentle.”
With a roar in her ears, Shen Baiyi’s mind went completely blank. But the person behind her had already fallen silent again, as if she had merely muttered in her sleep and drifted back into slumber.
Shen Baiyi’s heart raced like thunder. She tested the waters.
No reaction. Her sister showed no response.
Realizing this, Shen Baiyi was instantly overwhelmed with excitement because of that complaint that sounded almost like a coquettish whine, because of her sister’s indulgence.
And so, her movements became gentle.
But they also gradually grew more audacious.
.
In the end, Shen Baiyi’s eyelashes fluttered lightly. It was clear that her sister knew it was her kissing her and even felt something for her.
Unable to resist, she kissed her sister again.
Even though she had exhausted herself all day, she now felt wide awake.
She was too happy. Reluctantly, she got up, but within seconds, she couldn’t help but shift back, lowering her head and mustering the courage to commit other mischiefs.
Only this time, her sister’s reaction was even stronger than she had imagined.
Shen Baiyi sighed, trying not to appear too eager, but sometimes it was hard to control herself like walking in the desert for days and suddenly stumbling upon a lake; one couldn’t help but drink a little more.
Outside the window, the rain fell harder, masking all sounds.
At some point, her sister’s hand had settled at the back of her head, tugging at her hair, but without much force.
It felt more like permission.
After all, although her sister occasionally pulled her back to stop her actions, most of the time, she let her do as she pleased.
So her sister must like it, right?
Shen Baiyi comforted herself. If she didn’t like it, how could she endure such mischief for so long?
From her initial clumsiness to later proficiency, she engaged in mischief she had never dared before, growing increasingly bold.
The rain outside the window suddenly intensified, but she paid it no mind.
In the darkness, both their breaths grew ragged. Shen Baiyi sat up, her gaze fixed intently on her elder sister who hadn’t yet recovered from the lingering sensations her eyes dazed yet unmistakably open.
A predatory smile curled Shen Baiyi’s lips, though her voice feigned innocence:
“Sister, would you like to taste how sweet my lips are?”
Amidst the disarray, with unfamiliar sensations still shimmering beneath her skin, Zheng Yao froze completely at these words.
Shen Baiyi’s movements had been so fervent, so consuming and directed entirely at her. She hadn’t taken sleeping pills; even if her consciousness had been clouded earlier, she could never have remained entirely unaware of what was happening.
She’d regained clarity long before this moment, finally realizing this was no dream.
Yet Shen Baiyi’s strength overwhelmed her, two hands anchoring her firmly, leaving no escape before waves of pleasure forced her to unravel.
Was Shen Baiyi insane?!
Had she herself gone mad too?!
Zheng Yao’s mind swam in turmoil. Slowly steadying her breathing, she fought to regain composure. Turning her face away, she forced her voice cold:
“Get off.”
However much she wished to pretend nothing had occurred, she could no longer deceive herself or help Shen Baiyi gloss over what happened.
The raindrops glistening on Shen Baiyi’s face were undeniable evidence.
She couldn’t bring herself to look directly at her.
“Doesn’t Sister want a taste?” Shen Baiyi’s breath quickened. She crawled forward, hands framing Zheng Yao’s body, and leaned down to meet her gaze. “Sister wants this too, doesn’t she?”
There was an undeniable urgency in her spurred solely by discovering Zheng Yao’s thoughts of deepening a relationship with “someone else,” she’d recklessly torn down the fragile barrier between them.
Zheng Yao was caught completely off guard.
Clenching her fists, she warned: “If you don’t want to be kicked off this bed.”
Before she could finish, Shen Baiyi surged forward, wrapping around her like a koala limbs clinging tightly, even daring to steal another impulsive kiss on her lips.
The sound echoed sharply in the room.
Leaving Zheng Yao stunned.
“I love you, Sister.” Shen Baiyi’s heart hammered against her ribs as she rushed the confession. “Don’t send me away.”
Her eyes locked fiercely onto Zheng Yao as she declared, “You love me too, don’t you?”
She bent down again, tentatively capturing Zheng Yao’s lips with a gentle bite, seeking another kiss.
This time, she failed.
Now fully lucid, how could Zheng Yao permit such liberties? She pressed her lips tightly together and turned her face away.
“Shen Baiyi.” Her tone sharpened with authority. “Do you understand what you’re doing?!”
“Of course, I do.” The reply came unhesitating, though Shen Baiyi’s breath hitched with fear and tension. “I’m kissing my sister.”
Her fingers brushed Zheng Yao’s lips as she asserted, “Your heart desires me, and your body responds to me, isn’t that true?”
Zheng Yao fell silent.
Staring at Shen Baiyi’s determined face, she found she couldn’t refute the claim yet refused to surrender so easily. Closing her eyes, she retorted, “Who said I love you?”
But she never anticipated the sheer boldness that would follow.
No sooner had the words been spoken than Zheng Yao felt Shen Baiyi’s sudden movement, her eyes widening in disbelief.
Outside the window, tree branches swayed gently.
“Sister, you’re being stubborn,” Shen Baiyi said with a growing smile, raising her hand and clearly showing her triumph on her face.
Seeing this, Zheng Yao flushed with shame and anger, her expression turning cold. “Shen Baiyi, I’m not made of wood. No matter who it is, if they touch me like that, I’ll feel something.”
Zheng Yao’s words were so harsh that Shen Baiyi’s face gradually paled.
But she still didn’t leave the bed, only clenched her fists and continued, “If Sister feels something, that means you like it when I touch you like this, doesn’t it?”
Her words came one after another, as if afraid she wouldn’t finish before being interrupted. “Sister likes it, and I like it too. Why can’t we give it a try?”
