My Wealthy Ex-Girlfriend Knelt and Begged Me to Come Back [Entertainment Industry] - Chapter 15
When Qiu Miaoran straightened her back again,
the distance between them was far too close.
From here, she could clearly see Ji Jiayu sitting gracefully in front of her, and also notice that the sash at her waist was tied loosely.
Beneath the white bathrobe, her legs were crossed. Her calves were fair and smooth, delicate like those of a porcelain doll.
Only—she was far too thin, those legs so slender.
She liked sweets so much, yet stayed this thin.
For a moment, Qiu Miaoran actually forgot to stand upright.
Ji Jiayu pinched a blueberry between her fingertips, leaned forward, and held it out to Qiu Miaoran’s lips.
“Do you want a blueberry?”
The soft fruit pressed gently against her lower lip. Almost involuntarily, Qiu Miaoran opened her mouth, letting the berry slip in. Between her teeth, the blueberry crushed, its juice spilling out—an almost decadent sweetness.
But Ji Jiayu didn’t pull her hand back immediately. Her fingertip lingered just beneath Qiu Miaoran’s lips, gently brushing, affectionate, caressing—as if tracing the shape of her mouth.
The light touch made her lips itch,
and something faintly stirred at her heart as well.
Qiu Miaoran rose to her feet. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the sight of Ji Jiayu wearing nothing but the robe—no clothes underneath, only a belt loosely tied at the waist. She looked utterly unbothered by her own state of undress.
Her gaze was so pure, untainted,
as though she were a nun fresh out of the bath—composed, natural, without affectation. Yet the sash around her waist was so loose that a single tug could pull it apart.
They shared a kiss—
sweet and lingering.
Blueberry-flavored.
The air grew hot again.
…
Ji Jiayu seemed oblivious to pain. Tonight, she was especially passionate. In the end, neither could quite tell who had possessed whom.
Qiu Miaoran felt as though she had become some sort of tool.
Only this time, there was no system notification—no 【Life Extension Value】 feedback.
When it was over,
Ji Jiayu turned her head, her pale eyes shimmering, glowing like translucent amber, brimming with affection.
“President Qiu, are you unhappy today?”
“I’m not unhappy.” Qiu Miaoran stroked the girl’s hair, the gesture like petting the soft fur of a kitten. “Tomorrow, I’ll take a day off…”
The words “I’ll keep you company” lodged in her throat and never came out.
“So, you’ll go out with me.”
Ji Jiayu answered softly, “Mm.”
Qiu Miaoran twirled a strand of her black hair between her fingers, then stilled. Her dark phoenix eyes turned toward Ji Jiayu, steady and intent. Her peach-colored lips pressed together and then parted. “Do you have other plans?”
—Aren’t you the one who loves making decisions for others? Since when would you care if they had other plans?
“All right…” Ji Jiayu leaned closer, both hands braced beside Qiu Miaoran’s pillow. Her breath was warm and sweet as it ghosted across the woman’s slightly raised collarbone.
“My favorite thing is going out with big sister.”
The love in her eyes was so deep it threatened to overflow.
A warmth bloomed in Qiu Miaoran’s chest. She was dazed for a moment.
After all, to be so deeply adored by a woman—this was happiness.
She had known many female companions, yet none had ever loved her with such intensity. Ji Jiayu’s affection was thick, heady—like an aged liquor. One sip left her craving more.
Such a sweet girl—how could having her for only a while ever be enough?
She wanted to take, to claim more. Never had another lover made her drown so fully in the tide of desire.
She attributed this to Ji Jiayu’s passion—so scorching that her own reason wavered, her mind clouded, forcing her to respond.
Qiu Miaoran was supposed to be clear-headed, rational, calm as still water.
Yet now, her mind kept replaying that moment at the banquet—
In the restroom near the hall, the petite girl had wrapped her arms around her neck, pressing her down against the sink, whispering over and over,
“Miaoran, love me.”
With a soft “click,” the bedside lamp switched off.
Ji Jiayu drew her hand back from the light, then gently cupped Qiu Miaoran’s face. Her lips brushed over, kissing the corner of her eye.
She loved Qiu Miaoran’s sleeping face so much…
With her eyes closed, those impenetrable black pupils were hidden away.
Her strong brows, straight nose, relaxed lips—this face looked even more like the one from her dreams.
She loved it.
She loved this face of Qiu Miaoran’s far too much.
“Goodnight.”
Ji Jiayu leaned in, like a sneaky little cat, her kiss feather-light, careful, falling at the corner of Qiu Miaoran’s eye.
Qiu Miaoran’s eyes stayed shut, her lashes trembling slightly, as though she were already asleep.
Yet the sound in her ear betrayed her—

Ah, the joy was back again…
Ji Jiayu smiled, her eyes curving. She reached out to tuck the blanket around Qiu Miaoran, her red lips shaping silent words—
Goodnight, big sister.
…
Sunlight spilled onto the pillow, leaving a soft golden glow.
Long black lashes quivered. Pale irises opened slowly. The faint rustle of sheets sounded as Ji Jiayu woke from her dream.
The spot beside her was sunken, still faintly warm from the night before.
Clearly, the one who had lain there was already gone.
But hadn’t Qiu Miaoran said she wanted her company today?
Why wasn’t she here now?
Had she really been stood up?
While Ji Jiayu was washing up, her phone screen suddenly lit up—
