My Ghostly Darling Cuddles Me Every Day - Chapter 20.2
Chapter 20.2: Entering a Dream, Kissing.
“Of course. Because you wish for me to be able to hold you, I can,” Xie Yinwan whispered like a dream demon, leading Bo Yu further in with one lie after another.
Xie Yinwan gently tugged at Bo Yu’s shirt. “Take it off.”
Bo Yu shook her head nervously. “No, we’re outside. Someone will see.”
“No one will. This is your dream; no one will ever know.”
“I… I don’t feel safe.” She was someone who lacked a sense of security anywhere outside her own bedroom; even in her room, she didn’t dare install a camera, always fearing a third pair of eyes might be watching her.
Suddenly, the space shifted. A circular barrier formed around them within a ten-meter radius, and snow began to fall outside the perimeter.
“There. No one can see now, baby. Take it off.”
Xie Yinwan stepped back, giving Bo Yu space to undress. Bo Yu felt lightheaded, as if she no longer had a reason to refuse. It felt as though she had been given a command she couldn’t resist. She raised her hand and slowly unbuttoned the first button of her shirt.
Xie Yinwan stared fixedly at the skin of Bo Yu’s collarbone, watching her fingers work, anticipating the revelation of more skin. Though she had peeked at Bo Yu in the bath many times and knew everything about her, she was still filled with anticipation.
Bo Yu’s breathing was heavy, and her movements were clumsy. After the first button came undone, the second proved difficult—it was as if the buttonhole had shrunk, and she couldn’t squeeze the button through no matter how hard she tried. The more anxious she got, the harder it became. Sweat dripped from her forehead.
“Slowly. There’s no rush.”
Xie Yinwan said there was no rush, but in reality, she was losing patience. She leaned forward, her warm hands covering the back of Bo Yu’s. She looked up and smiled. “Baby, let Sister unbutton it for you, alright?”
Bo Yu was dazed. “Sister?”
She only ever dared call Xie Yinwan “Immortal,” often using formal honorifics. If she called Xie Yinwan “Sister” in reality, the ghost would surely kill her instantly.
Xie Yinwan looked up with a tender smile. “I am older than you, baby. Of course you should call me Sister. Isn’t that right?”
Bo Yu unconsciously repeated, “You are older than me.”
“Of course. Be good, put your hands down.” Bo Yu obeyed. “How many years older are you?”
“I am as many years older as you wish me to be.”
“I think… I wish you were younger than me.” In that case, could I tease her?
Xie Yinwan: “…”
“Baby, don’t talk nonsense. You clearly love calling me Sister.”
Do I? Bo Yu’s hands were clenched nervously.
“Baby, let me hear you say ‘Sister’ once?”
Bo Yu’s lips twitched; the word didn’t come easily. Even with Bo Mi, she just said “Jie.” “Sister” (Jiejie) felt a bit too intimate.
“Sister,” Bo Yu finally whispered.
Xie Yinwan giggled. “How sweet. Sister likes that.”
Bo Yu’s face turned crimson. Xie Yinwan continued unbuttoning the shirt—four buttons in total—unfastening them one by one at a leisurely pace. Finally, Bo Yu’s black brassiere was revealed.
Initially, Xie Yinwan thought of it as a “shime” (traditional undergarment), but after listening to Bo Yu’s private mutterings, she knew it was called a bra or “inner wear.” She preferred the term “bra”—garment for the chest. It sounded much more pleasing.
Now, the black fabric made Bo Yu’s skin look even fairer, more beautiful, and more alluring. Usually, Xie Yinwan only saw Bo Yu in white undergarments, which looked gentle and pure. This, however, was purely seductive. Fragrant, beautiful, and tempting.
“Still hot?” Xie Yinwan asked, her tone lifting slightly.
Bo Yu nodded. “Hot.” She was so hot her head felt heavy. Sweat wasn’t just dripping from her brow; it felt as if her entire face was perspiring.
Xie Yinwan teased her: “Silly. If you’re hot, take the sleeves off too.”
Bo Yu didn’t move. Xie Yinwan leaned in and pulled the sleeves off for her. Both sleeves were discarded into the snow, leaving Bo Yu’s upper body clad only in the black bra.
Her chest was beautiful; Xie Yinwan had known this for a long time. Full, firm, and with a deep cleavage. It made her want to do more than just watch.
Xie Yinwan tilted her head slightly, a flicker of displeasure in her eyes. She felt Bo Yu was being too formal. At home, Bo Yu would take off her bra to sleep in pajamas, yet in this dream, she was still wearing it. Who was Bo Yu’s subconscious protecting herself from?
Xie Yinwan looked down. Bo Yu was wearing long pants, even though she usually wore shorts that showed her calves at home.
“Is that better?” Xie Yinwan looked up and asked softly.
Bo Yu felt awkward and hugged her shoulders. “I want to go back.” She had felt uncomfortable when Xie Yinwan saw her in the bathroom before, and the feeling was returning.
Xie Yinwan was considerate. “Where does baby want to go back to?”
Bo Yu’s voice was tiny. “Back to bed.”
Xie Yinwan agreed. “Alright.”
In an instant, they were on a bed. It was surrounded by light gauze curtains. Bo Yu lay on her side; through the veil, she saw a sea with surging waves. They were at the beach, not in her room. Sea breezes blew, fluttering the curtains and bringing a cool draft.
Bo Yu felt even hotter. Opposite her, Xie Yinwan was also lying on her side, her thin silk robes billowing, her pale, jade-like body visible beneath. A scent Bo Yu had never smelled before drifted into her nose.
“You…” Bo Yu took a deep, secret breath. “You smell very good.” She could actually smell her! Or was it the smell of her clothes?
Xie Yinwan gave a soft laugh and reached out. “Then does baby want to come closer and smell?”
Bo Yu still didn’t dare move. Xie Yinwan leaned in, her soft hand cupping the back of Bo Yu’s head, applying gentle pressure. Bo Yu’s head was brought down near Xie Yinwan’s collarbone. She breathed in gently; a deeper, more fragrant scent enveloped her, instantly soothing her restless heart.
The scent didn’t come from the clothes; it came from Xie Yinwan’s body. It made her feel wonderful. The better she felt, the more she wanted to be near—an instinctive addiction humans find hard to resist.
Bo Yu moved closer to the ghost’s skin. Xie Yinwan tilted her head back, her hand pressing more firmly against the back of Bo Yu’s head. Unconsciously, Bo Yu’s lips pressed against Xie Yinwan’s neck.
Xie Yinwan let out a sharp, hitching sound.
Bo Yu suddenly realized something. She could touch her!
“I can touch you?” Bo Yu was astonished. Not only could she touch her, but she was warm and soft. No longer transparent, no longer something her hand passed through.
Xie Yinwan squinted her eyes in pleasure, her soft fingers stroking Bo Yu’s neck. “Of course, baby. Sister is the person in your dream. If you wish to touch Sister, you can. Does baby want to touch more?”
Bo Yu was confused. In a dream, anything is possible? She tried reaching out to wrap her arm around Xie Yinwan’s waist—she actually felt it! Such a supple waist. Bo Yu held her breath, unable to stop herself from stroking the curve of Xie Yinwan’s side, feeling the warm skin through the thin silk. The silk felt like cool satin, yet the heat of the skin was clear. It was smooth and tender.
“What is the point of doing it through clothes?” Xie Yinwan gripped Bo Yu’s wrist, showing her how it should be done.
A moment later, Bo Yu’s breath hitched, and Xie Yinwan—rarely losing her composure—went rigid. It was a real sensation. Bo Yu was surprised, and her head felt even heavier and dizzier. Her fingertips rested on the small of Xie Yinwan’s back; a spark of electricity traveled from her fingers up her arm, numbing half her body. She had never felt skin this tender, not even her own. It felt as if any pressure would hurt her.
“Baby, does it feel good?” Xie Yinwan’s breath was uneven.
Bo Yu’s fingertips lingered at Xie Yinwan’s waist, stroking repeatedly, partly out of novelty and partly out of reluctance to let go. She felt a sudden urge to pull this soft, boneless body into her arms to soothe the burning heat in her heart.
“Yes,” Bo Yu whispered.
“Then shall we make it feel even better?”
“What?”
Xie Yinwan leaned down, her lips kissing Bo Yu’s forehead, then moving down to her nose, finally hovering near Bo Yu’s lips—almost touching, a ghost of a sensation. “Kiss Sister’s mouth. Suck on Sister’s tongue. Will you?”
Bo Yu’s mind exploded. How? How could I have such thoughts about Xie Yinwan in my heart? I don’t. I really don’t!
Xie Yinwan’s face darkened again. What does this mean? She doesn’t want to kiss me? Am I not beautiful? Am I being rejected?
With a flick of her sleeve, Xie Yinwan vanished instantly. Bo Yu looked blankly at the empty space. Why did she disappear?!
“Xie Yinwan?” Bo Yu pulled back the curtain and shouted. “Where are you?”
The sea was vast; not a soul was in sight. Bo Yu stood up anxiously. “Xie Yinwan?” There was no answer.
Suddenly, the bed beneath her vanished. She fell into the sea, the icy water soaking her back as she floated on the surface. The water was cold and smelled of salt. She rose and fell with the waves. After a long time, the tide pushed her to the shore.
Bo Yu was covered in sand, her hair a mess. Suddenly, the sky turned dark, and a gale howled over the sea. Her black bra was actually blown open by the wind; she watched helplessly as it was carried away and snagged on a coconut tree.
Bo Yu hugged her chest, stumbling through the sand. “Xie Yinwan?” Still no response. She pushed through the leaning trees, calling out, “Xie Yinwan! Where are you?”
Finally, the wind died down. She looked up and saw Xie Yinwan. She was reclining on a pure white bed. Bo Yu’s anxiety vanished instantly, but her body felt heavy and her legs weak, as if she would collapse from exhaustion.
“Come here, baby,” Xie Yinwan smiled at her. “Look at the state you’re in. Come here.”
Bo Yu walked toward the bed. She seemed to pass through an invisible barrier; the sand vanished, and she felt clean and dry, not a grain of grit left on her. Her exhaustion vanished too.
She climbed onto the bed and knelt, feeling the heat rising again. “Why did you disappear just now?” Bo Yu felt a little wronged.
Xie Yinwan thought: You feel wronged? I’m the one who’s wronged! But she wasn’t going to tell Bo Yu why she had left. She reached out her boneless fingers. “Come. No more sulking. Sister will hold you.”
Bo Yu still had her arms across her chest. “I want some clothes.”
Xie Yinwan shook her head. “Just like this is fine.”
Bo Yu was at a loss. Xie Yinwan closed her eyes. “I won’t look. Come here.”
Whether she looks or not, it’s just a dream, Bo Yu told herself. Besides, Xie Yinwan had seen her in the bathroom and even placed a flower on her shoulder.
Bo Yu lowered her arms, leaned forward, and gently lay on top of Xie Yinwan, hugging her, burying her face in the ghost’s neck. With only a thin layer of white silk between them, it was almost skin-to-skin. Both of their breathing hitched.
This was a sensation like no other—the softness of their chests, the thrumming of a heartbeat.
A heartbeat. Bo Yu thought it was because she knew Xie Yinwan was a ghost without one that the dream had provided a heartbeat to make her feel real. She took a deep breath. The fragrance of peach blossom wine from Xie Yinwan’s skin flowed into her, easing the heat and anxiety.
“What scent is this?” Bo Yu whispered.
Xie Yinwan tilted her head back comfortably. “Peach blossom wine. The wine you gave me. Did you forget?”
“I remember. It’s very fragrant.”
“Yes, it is.” Xie Yinwan stroked Bo Yu’s long hair. “Because you gave me the wine, I have a ‘Xin Xiang’ (Scent/Pheromone).”
Xin Xiang. Bo Yu realized this was Xie Yinwan’s pheromone. Was Xie Yinwan an Omega? In ancient terms, a “Kun Ze”?
“You have a scent because of me?”
“Yes. You bestowed it upon me.”
Bestowed. Bo Yu pondered the weight of that word. It felt as if she had given Xie Yinwan life within the dream.
Xie Yinwan’s fingers wove through Bo Yu’s hair, stroking her smooth back. “Baby, you seem nervous. Why?”
Bo Yu was thinking about how special this dream was. She couldn’t tell if she was more curious about this gentle dream-Xie Yinwan or the one who was always losing her temper. She asked softly, “Are you an Omega? Or an Alpha?”
Xie Yinwan laughed softly. “Baby, I am whatever you want me to be. Sister will listen to you. Do you want me to be one?”
“I don’t know.”
“Then I am an Omega. Does baby want to kiss Sister’s ‘Xiang Luo’ (Scent Gland)?”
Bo Yu remembered from her textbooks that modern pheromones were once called “Xin Xiang” and the glands were “Xiang Luo.”
“Where is your gland?” Bo Yu asked.
Xie Yinwan took Bo Yu’s hand and guided it to the spot. Bo Yu gasped and tried to pull away—it was in the exact same location as her own gland!
“Relax. Is Sister going to eat you? It’s a hard spot to describe; that’s why I held your hand.” Xie Yinwan laughed and let go.
Bo Yu’s tense back relaxed. She didn’t mention the gland again but buried her face in Xie Yinwan’s neck, inhaling the peach blossom wine scent. It was floral and intoxicating. The more she smelled, the more she felt drunk. The ill-tempered Xie Yinwan who loves to smell me… is she also smelling my pheromones?
Suddenly, Bo Yu’s teeth ached. Her canines felt restless, wanting to bite into the skin of Xie Yinwan’s neck to drink in her pheromones. The location of Xie Yinwan’s gland was too private; she would never kiss it there. But the neck could also release the scent, even if it wasn’t as strong.
Heat, loss of control, desire. Bo Yu’s nature was stirring; her logic was suppressing it. But in her daze, her chin was lifted. Their lips were inches apart.
Xie Yinwan’s thumb stroked the corner of Bo Yu’s mouth. “Baby, stop holding back. Kiss Sister, and you’ll feel better. Do you want to kiss?”
Bo Yu didn’t know if she should. This was so strange. Xie Yinwan was a ghost. In this dream, she wasn’t a ghost but a person with a tangible, exquisite body. And now they were embracing, and Xie Yinwan wanted to kiss her. Bo Yu felt it wasn’t right and looked at her hesitantly.
Xie Yinwan was growing frustrated. She had spent so much time seducing Bo Yu step by step—why wouldn’t she take the bait! Her patience had run dry. She wrapped her arms around Bo Yu’s neck and, without hesitation, leaned in and kissed her.
For a few seconds, time stopped. As their lips met, Bo Yu felt shock and confusion, but also a fine, tingling sensation spreading from her lips to her brain. She forgot to breathe.
Xie Yinwan was more eager. She moved first. Her tongue-tip flicked out, tentatively licking Bo Yu’s lower lip.
So soft. It really is soft.
Bo Yu’s entire body shuddered. Something uncontrollable was blooming inside her. Xie Yinwan watched Bo Yu’s eyes grow misty and felt satisfied. She licked Bo Yu’s upper lip again.
Not just Bo Yu—even Xie Yinwan felt incredible. So good, she wanted more. More than just a kiss—Bo Yu’s lips were so soft she almost wanted to devour her.
“Baby,” Xie Yinwan said in a low, seductive voice, “Kiss Sister. Put your tongue in Sister’s mouth. Kiss me until I’m weak all over, okay?”
In an instant, Bo Yu’s pupils dilated. Xie Yinwan gently bit Bo Yu’s lower lip, licking it three times. She whispered, “Be good. Open your mouth. Now, kiss Sister.”
