My Childhood Friend, Who Is An Omega, Has Become My Personal Secretary - Chapter 57
“En, give me the suppressant”
The interior of the car was cramped and oppressive; pheromones acted like an invisible, massive net, firmly enveloping and compressing the air within the vehicle.
The passenger seat had been reclined flat. Zhang Linen lay upon it, her arms hooked around Ji Zeyuan’s neck, continuously sipping the nectar from her mouth.
After several encounters, their kissing had become increasingly skillful, and Ji Zeyuan had already begun to derive unparalleled pleasure from it. The moist, hot tongue explored her oral cavity—soft, smooth, and making one instinctively long for more.
Zhang Linen pressed against Ji Zeyuan’s sternum to push her away. Immersed in the kiss, Ji Zeyuan didn’t react immediately; she subconsciously thought Zhang Linen was displeased, so she leaned in and kissed her again with even more insistence.
“If I were truly your younger sister, would you really stand by and watch me marry someone else?” Zhang Linen’s breathing was shallow, her gaze burning.
Ji Zeyuan’s eyes curved as she smiled and kissed Zhang Linen several more times in quick succession. She asked, “And you? If you had misunderstood and thought I was your biological elder sister, what would you have done?”
Zhang Linen’s fingertips brushed over Ji Zeyuan’s fair, slender neck, where the blue veins were clearly visible beneath the snowy skin.
Suddenly, she exerted force, seizing Ji Zeyuan’s throat and pinning her against the center console. Ji Zeyuan felt a sharp pain in her throat as she was forced back, and Zhang Linen lunged over her. Even in this state, Ji Zeyuan did not forget to use her hand to shield the back of Zhang Linen’s head, coughing, “Cough… be careful, don’t hit your head.”
Zhang Linen’s fingertip trailed across Ji Zeyuan’s right cheek, her words firm and powerful: “I would have committed incest with you.”
The scent of green grass pheromones carried an aggressive sense of oppression, wrapping around Ji Zeyuan’s body. Ji Zeyuan shuddered; every inch of her skin gradually became sensitive, and every pore seemed to open its floodgates, releasing a massive amount of Alpha pheromones.
Sduced by the overwhelming amount of High-Grade Alpha pheromones, Zhang Linen’s body produced an instinctive reaction. Her waist went soft, and she collapsed onto Ji Zeyuan, gasping for air.
Ji Zeyuan held Zhang Linen and placed her back onto the passenger seat. Zhang Linen bent her knees, her legs brushing seemingly unintentionally against Ji Zeyuan’s side. She murmured in a low voice, “I want you…”
“How do you want me, hmm?” Ji Zeyuan’s chin brushed against Zhang Linen’s lips, her warm breath fluttering over her face and neck.
Zhang Linen gripped Ji Zeyuan’s collar, wanting to tear open that bothersome shirt, but her hands were so weak she had no strength at all.
“Take your clothes off,” Zhang Linen said in a low voice.
As the clothes fell to the floor, Ji Zeyuan kissed those cherry lips, doing her best to restrain her primal desires as she gently caressed Zhang Linen.
“En, can you please not pull my hair?” Ji Zeyuan’s scalp stung with pain; her tone was cautious.
But the kitten’s claws did not listen to their master, scratching wildly and leaving trails of marks on her back and neck.
Ji Zeyuan sighed helplessly; she could only work harder at “stroking the cat” to comfort her own flayed skin through spiritual satisfaction.
The kitten flipped over on the passenger seat, her legs thrashing as she let out sobbing, whimpering mews.
Ji Zeyuan couldn’t help but suckle on the “cat’s” ear, saying, “En, En… call out to me, okay? Say my name.”
Her fingers curled slightly, and Zhang Linen silently opened her mouth, squeezing out a series of calls from her throat: “Yuan… Yuan… Yuan…”
The “speed” of the car became increasingly bumpy, yet Ji Zeyuan was immersed in it, relentlessly insisting: “Call me ‘Sister,’ hmm? Call me Sister. I like hearing you call me that.”
Physiological tears seeped from the corners of Zhang Linen’s eyes. She was exhausted and whimpered as if begging for mercy, “Sister… Sister Ji…”
After several rounds, the two finally ceased this beast-like duel.
“Have you ever thought about it?” Zhang Linen enjoyed the ethereal afterglow, turning her head to look at Ji Zeyuan. “After our identities were swapped, I am actually the elder sister.”
Ji Zeyuan’s eyes widened, and she sat up abruptly. “This… it’s all the same, right? Anyway, we were born on the same day.”
Zhang Linen smiled faintly and said nothing.
A moment later, after both had dressed, Zhang Linen suddenly asked, “Have you thought about setting a time for the ‘Marking’?”
Ji Zeyuan, who was tying her necktie, asked in confusion, “Can you even set a time for that? Doesn’t it have to wait until your heat cycle?”
Zhang Linen said, “The heat cycle can be moved forward with medication.”
“No.” Ji Zeyuan rejected the proposal decisively. “Your body is so fragile right now. Don’t abuse medication anymore. Haven’t you learned enough of a lesson?”
Zhang Linen narrowed her eyes. Lately, Ji Zeyuan had frequently been using this authoritative, parental tone to scold her. While it had a certain unique charm, being constantly lectured still made her a bit disgruntled.
After the press conference, Ji Cheng held a shareholders’ meeting. Now, Ji Zeyuan had become a literal “working-class” CEO. Without shares, she had no real power. The high-level executives who were once under her command now treated her with obvious casualness, addressing her simply as “you” and some even calling her “Little Ji.”
It didn’t feel great, but this was a choice she had to make. Throughout the meeting, Ji Cheng didn’t say a single word on her behalf.
“Father.” As he was leaving, Ji Zeyuan called out to Ji Cheng. Ji Cheng stopped and turned around, wearing that same familiar, standard smile.
In the past, Ji Zeyuan thought this smile was kind and approachable; now, having witnessed Ji Cheng’s cruel treatment of Zhang Linen, she only found it hair-raising.
With complicated emotions, Ji Zeyuan bowed deeply to Ji Cheng and said, “Thank you for so many years of upbringing and support.”
Hearing this, Ji Cheng’s brow twitched. After finishing her bow, Ji Zeyuan stood up straight, her expression instantly turning cold. She bowed her head respectfully and said, “Then, Mr. Chairman, I shall take my leave.”
Ji Cheng said nothing. Ji Zeyuan’s gaze did not linger on him for another second as she turned and walked away.
As she was leaving the headquarters, Ji Zeyuan received a phone call from Shen Jiuyue.
“President Ji, congratulations,” Shen Jiuyue’s brisk voice came through the phone.
Ji Zeyuan asked back, “Congratulations for what?”
Shen Jiuyue’s tone was somewhat teasing. “Congratulations on finally getting what you wanted and catching the person you like?”
Ji Zeyuan let out a silent chuckle. Before she could say anything, Shen Jiuyue continued, “Though in my opinion, you two were just tossing each other around for nothing.”
“What do you mean by that?” Ji Zeyuan frowned; after all, that didn’t sound like a compliment.
Shen Jiuyue laughed. “Clearly you liked each other, yet you wasted so much time. Isn’t that just a pointless struggle?”
Ji Zeyuan’s furrowed brow relaxed. While it still didn’t quite sound like a compliment, she found it very agreeable.
That’s right—she and Zhang Linen liked each other mutually.
“I suppose I’ve worked in vain as well,” Shen Jiuyue sighed with a bit of regret.
Ji Zeyuan naturally understood the meaning behind those words. She paused and said somewhat stiffly, “I’m sorry, Miss Shen. You are actually quite alright, but I have En now.”
Shen Jiuyue complained speechlessly, “…President Ji, I really can’t learn your ‘art of conversation.’ I honestly can’t tell if you’re saying that on purpose or if you’re just truly that dense.”
Ji Zeyuan was baffled; Shen Jiuyue was six or seven years younger than her, and it felt like there was a generational gap in their speech.
“Fine, I’ll accept this ‘You’re a Good Person’ card. Remember to invite me to be a bridesmaid when you get married. I can use the fact that I’m friends with the Jixia heir to drum up some hype for myself.”
After saying this, Shen Jiuyue hung up the phone.
Ji Zeyuan actually admired people like Shen Jiuyue—people who could let go so freely and gracefully.
Her phone buzzed twice. Zhang Linen had sent a message: “It’s about to pour. Are you finished?”
Ji Zeyuan tightened her collar and looked up at the sky. Clusters of ink-black clouds were slowly moving southward. The light was dimming, the wind was picking up, and pedestrians on the road were hurrying along with their heads down.
“Yes, I’m coming home now,” Ji Zeyuan replied.
The storm came swiftly and fiercely. Ji Zeyuan stepped into the building just as the rain began to pour. The howling wind and torrential rain swept up broken branches and fallen leaves, lashing against everything in the world.
Ji Zeyuan suddenly remembered back in high school, when she had dragged Zhang Linen along to sneak out of PE class to buy ice cream at the school store. In just a few minutes, the sky had changed its face—from a clear blue to dense clouds, and then to a downpour in an instant.
PE class was short, so they each bought an umbrella and braved the wind that was strong enough to blow a person away.
The umbrella was quickly battered and broken. Ji Zeyuan threw it to the ground and cursed, “Garbage! What a piece of junk!”
Ji Zeyuan looked at Zhang Linen. Zhang Linen had also thrown her umbrella away; the rain soaked her black hair and her clothes. She looked as bedraggled as a homeless stray cat.
“Pfft, hahaha! You look so…” Ji Zeyuan clutched her stomach and laughed. Zhang Linen looked at her wordlessly and asked, “Are you any better?”
The roar of the storm was so loud it blurred their words.
“Oh, whatever! Let’s just dash back to the classroom!” Ji Zeyuan reached out her hand, her eyes bright. Even though her wet hair was plastered to her face in a mess, making the scene that should have been full of youthful spirit look quite ridiculous.
Zhang Linen slowly raised her hand. Ji Zeyuan grabbed it and pulled her along in a sprint toward the teaching building. The wind and rain were noisy, but happiness inadvertently overflowed between them.
Ji Zeyuan pulled her thoughts back. Suddenly, she felt a desire to return to her alma mater.
I’ll mention it to Linen later, she thought.
The moment she pushed the door open, Ji Zeyuan felt a sudden pang in her chest. Her steps faltered, and she quickly steadied herself against the doorframe.
The pain didn’t last long; it was like a naughty little hamster that bit its owner and then scrambled away.
Ji Zeyuan composed herself. As she changed her shoes, she said, “En, I’m back.”
Suddenly, a wave of heat began to erupt from the inside out. Ji Zeyuan’s body turned scorching hot. That familiar sensation—like a wild beast crashing around inside her body, threatening to tear her apart—made her realize instantly: her Rut had arrived!
Her body’s sensitivity reached its peak. The faint scent of green grass pheromones in the air was as seductive and dangerous as the apple in the Garden of Eden.
Hearing the noise, Zhang Linen walked out from the inner room. A pungent scent of roses swept over her. Before she could react, a figure lunged from behind, pinning her to the floor.
Ji Zeyuan crouched over Zhang Linen, her eyes bloodshot and her body drenched in sweat. She gasped, “En, give me… the suppressant…”
After a brief moment of shock, Zhang Linen quickly came to her senses. Ji Zeyuan’s arms were clamped tightly around her shoulders, pinning her down so she couldn’t move.
An Alpha’s Rut is terrifying. During this period, an Alpha becomes exceptionally restless; a primitive, inherent desire for violence erodes their mind, leaving destruction and dominance as the only goals in their brain.
“Isn’t it right in front of you?” Zhang Linen tapped her lip with her finger. There wasn’t a trace of fear in her dark eyes. Her cherry lips curled upward, unashamedly exposing the eager desire hidden within her heart.
