My Brother's Arranged Marriage Partner Is My Boyfriend - Chapter 59
After hanging up the phone, Mo Leyang’s intensity in tormenting Bai Nanxing became even more ruthless. He bit and gnawed at him, his movements beneath the sheets showing no mercy. Even though Bai Nanxing wept and pleaded for him to stop, Mo Leyang did not relent.
It wasn’t until Bai Nanxing fainted from the sheer intensity of the encounter that Mo Leyang finally, satisfied, withdrew himself from Bai Nanxing’s body.
However, he did not immediately carry Bai Nanxing to the bathroom to clean him up. Instead, he stood over him, looking down from a height to admire Bai Nanxing’s body, which was covered in ambiguous marks. For some reason, Mo Leyang loved seeing Bai Nanxing in this state after being toyed with; it seemed that only then could he truly feel that Bai Nanxing belonged to him.
After a long while, Mo Leyang finally got up and carried the boy to the bathroom.
Half an hour later, Bai Nanxing was finally clean, smelling strongly of peach-scented body wash. Mo Leyang liked it very much, thinking the scent suited Bai Nanxing perfectly. He held him tightly from behind, sniffing him for a long time before finally falling into a daze and drifting off to sleep.
The next morning.
The piercing sunlight shone through the window. Mo Leyang’s eyes twitched uncomfortably from the glare. Out of habit, he reached out toward his arms to feel for the person there, but his hand met only empty air. He snapped his eyes open and sat bolt upright.
The other side of the bed was empty.
It was vacant.
The spot no longer even held any lingering warmth.
Mo Leyang tried calling out toward the bathroom a few times, but the only response was the echo of his own voice.
Bai Nanxing had gotten up and left at some unknown time.
He ran a hand through his hair in frustration and grabbed his phone from the nightstand. He had intended to call and interrogate Bai Nanxing on why he had left without saying a word, but at that moment, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Thinking it was Bai Nanxing, Mo Leyang put on his bathrobe and went to open the door with a smile.
However, the moment the door opened, Mo Leyang’s face sank 360 degrees. He closed his eyes, intending to slam the door shut immediately.
Seeing this, Zhou Lin quickly stuck a foot out to block it.
“A-Yang, what’s the meaning of this? Your brother traveled all this way to find you, and this is the treatment I get?”
Mo Leyang’s displeasure was visible to the naked eye. He said coldly, “Is there a problem?”
“Of course there’s no problem!”
Zhou Lin noticed he was upset and craned his neck to peek into the room. “Is the little junior inside?”
It was better left unmentioned; at the mention of him, Mo Leyang’s frustration surged again. Nevertheless, he answered Zhou Lin’s question truthfully, “He’s gone.”
“Gone?” Zhou Lin’s eyes filled with disbelief. “In other words, you just woke up and don’t even know when he left? A-Yang, you couldn’t possibly be… inadequate, could you?!”
Mo Leyang froze. His face turned pitch black as he narrowed his eyes and said, “Zhou Lin, you can say that one more time.”
Naturally, Zhou Lin didn’t dare say it again. However, he was genuinely curious and asked in a different way, “No, really, which one of you is on top and who’s on the bottom? If you’re on top and you spent the whole night tossing him around, how could you not know when he woke up the next morning?”
Then, Zhou Lin added another blow: “If I remember correctly, this is the second time, right? A-Yang, do you really need some supplements? If this keeps up, your status as a ‘1’ is going to be revoked!”
“Shut up!” Mo Leyang stared at him with a fake smile. “Are you saying I’m not capable?”
Isn’t it obvious?
Of course, Zhou Lin wouldn’t say that out loud. To defend his own dignity as a “1,” he felt there was a high probability Mo Leyang would teach him the meaning of “trouble comes from the mouth.”
After weighing the gravity of the situation, Zhou Lin immediately changed his tune: “Of course not! My Brother Yang is a total ‘Top Tier Alpha,’ how could he be incapable! The problem must lie with the little junior. As the saying goes, ‘the field isn’t worn out, but the ox is exhausted.’ So the problem must be the little junior’s insatiable demands. I didn’t expect—”
Before he could finish, Mo Leyang cut him off directly. “If you keep chirping, I don’t mind putting you in the tabloid news. I’ve already thought of the headline: #Second Young Master of the Zhou Group Suffers from Premature Ejaculation#. What do you think?”
Zhou Lin’s smile vanished instantly. If Mo Leyang actually did that, his old man would definitely break his legs.
He sheepishly shut his mouth.
Mo Leyang didn’t close the door; he turned around and let go of the handle. Since Bai Nanxing wasn’t in the room, there was no point in keeping the door shut, so he let Zhou Lin in.
“If you have something to say, say it. If you have a fart to let out, let it out quick.”
Zhou Lin closed the door behind him and lay down on the sofa without ceremony. “It’s not anything special, but it’s related to you. Do you want to hear it?”
Mo Leyang went to pour himself a cup of coffee. Hearing Zhou Lin’s words, his movements suddenly paused. “Playing mysterious with me? Zhou Lin, do you think your life is too long?”
Zhou Lin immediately hugged his own arms, pretending to be pitiful. “What? You actually want to hit me? Brother Yang, you’re so brutal, so unreasonable.”
Mo Leyang: “…” What should I do? I really want to just kill him.
But as much as Zhou Lin joked, he was serious and professional when it came to matters concerning Mo Leyang.
After deliberating for a moment, Zhou Lin said, “Today my old man had afternoon tea with your old man. They asked about the matter regarding your brother and your little junior.”
Mo Leyang’s expression changed instantly. “What did they say?”
Zhou Lin said, “My old man asked your old man, saying that the little junior and your big brother aren’t a match at all. Furthermore, the little junior’s background is so… awkward. He didn’t understand why your old man would choose him as a marriage partner, as it damages the Mo family’s reputation.”
“What was Mo Yuncheng’s answer?” Mo Leyang asked impatiently, using the full name.
“Your old man didn’t answer at first.” Zhou Lin was long used to Mo Leyang calling his own father by his full name. “He was silent for a good while, maybe ten minutes. My old man didn’t rush him. Then, your old man spoke up and said that actually, it’s your big brother who isn’t worthy of the little junior.”
This took Mo Leyang by surprise.
In Mo Yuncheng’s heart, it was always others who weren’t worthy of the Mo family’s status. He had never believed that anyone in the Mo family—especially Mo Yichen, the future heir of the Mo Group—was unworthy of someone else.
Especially when that person was an illegitimate son.
This did not align with Mo Yuncheng’s usual high-and-mighty attitude.
There was definitely something fishy going on.
Following Zhou Lin’s lead, Mo Leyang asked, “Besides that sentence, what else did Mo Yuncheng say?”
Zhou Lin recalled, “Then my old man got very curious, just like your reaction now. He asked your old man if there was something wrong with his head. Your old man didn’t get angry; his attitude was actually very serious. He said that in his eyes, regardless of the little junior’s status, he is worthy of anyone in the Mo family. The harsh words he said to Bai Yi before were just to make Bai Yi behave himself and stop doing things behind his back that he thought your old man didn’t know about.”
After saying this, Zhou Lin asked Mo Leyang in confusion, “If we go by your old man’s attitude, what do you think he means by this?”
Not only did Zhou Lin have questions, but Mo Leyang couldn’t figure it out either. He even began to doubt if Mo Yuncheng’s words were true; after all, the old man was no stranger to speaking in riddles or lies.
This led Mo Leyang to think back to the first time Bai Nanxing went to the Mo family ancestral home and accidentally stumbled into Mo Yuncheng’s study. At that time, the old man’s attitude was very subtle. Not only did he not punish Bai Nanxing, he didn’t even scold him; he actually welcomed him with a smile. It was strange beyond belief.
Then he heard Zhou Lin say, “But let’s not talk about that for a second. A-Yang, guess what I found out because of that sentence? It’s about your little junior.”
Mo Leyang suddenly went quiet.
Actually, there was one thing that even Mo Leyang found hard to believe: before he met Bai Nanxing, whenever something happened, he would definitely have the other person’s background investigated thoroughly, down to the eighteenth generation of their ancestors.
But ever since meeting Bai Nanxing, he had never done such a thing to him. He just let things develop naturally. From the first moment he saw Bai Nanxing, to later constantly bullying him, to eventually rolling into the same bed, he had never thought about investigating anything regarding Bai Nanxing.
Except for that one time he forced information out of Gu Shize’s mouth.
Other than that, there was nothing.
Mo Leyang took a sip of his coffee, set it down, and asked, “What did you find?”
Zhou Lin didn’t say it immediately, but instead asked back, “Do you know Cao Huaiyuan?”
Cao Huaiyuan?
Mo Leyang repeated the name with a raised voice, “From the Cao family?”
“Yes, the Cao family.” Zhou Lin continued, “Cao Huaiyuan is three or four years older than us, the eldest son of Cao Wenyuan. But two years ago, he suddenly went to prison and is still locked up now. I couldn’t find out exactly why—Cao Wenyuan probably spent a lot of money to suppress the news—but his imprisonment has a lot to do with your little junior. You could say he was the direct party involved.”
Mo Leyang lowered his eyes, his face expressionless. After a long while, he looked up. “What do you think it was for?”
For something that could send a person directly to prison, if it wasn’t a loss of life, it was sexual assault.
Two years ago, Bai Nanxing was only in his first year of high school and didn’t know Cao Huaiyuan at all. It was impossible for Cao Huaiyuan to try to kill Bai Nanxing for no reason. That left only one other possibility.
Even if Zhou Lin didn’t answer, Mo Leyang knew clearly in his heart. Both of them knew exactly what it was, but neither poked through the veil.
“Let’s put that aside for a moment. The real issue comes after. After Cao Huaiyuan got into that kind of trouble, Cao Wenyuan actually couldn’t do anything to your little junior. Don’t you think there’s a problem there?” Zhou Lin said, “Someone as selfish and cowardly as Bai Yi—how could he possibly offend the Cao family, one of the Four Great Families, for an illegitimate son like Bai Nanxing? If your old man didn’t have a hand in this, I wouldn’t believe it.”
So, why would Mo Yuncheng be so good to Bai Nanxing?
Mo Leyang leaned his head on his hand, unable to figure it out. This series of actions by Mo Yuncheng was far too strange; it was as if he was writing his personal care for Bai Nanxing all over his face.
“I need to go home. Help me check out of the hotel room.”
Zhou Lin waved his hand. “Fine.”
