My Brother's Arranged Marriage Partner Is My Boyfriend - Chapter 39
Du Long certainly had no way to stop Mo Leyang from carrying Bai Nanxing out of the bar. Although he could have kept Bai Nanxing there by force, he could protect him for a moment but not for a lifetime. Under the consequences of an impulsive act, Bai Nanxing might suffer even more.
Furthermore, looking at the situation now, Mo Leyang had likely developed feelings for Bai Nanxing. As for the extent of those feelings, Du Long couldn’t be certain. The only thing he could be sure of was that Mo Leyang would definitely show Bai Nanxing mercy in the future.
That punk really got lucky, Du Long thought to himself.
However, no matter how he looked at it, he found Mo Leyang extremely unpleasant to the eye. The more he looked, the more he wanted to kill him. His perfectly fine “cabbage” had been uprooted by a pig; no one could accept that easily.
“Third Young Master Mo, don’t think for a second that the Mo family’s great wealth and power can intimidate me, Du Long. There is always a higher heaven and a greater man; your Mo family hasn’t reached the point where they can cover the sky with one hand.”
Mo Leyang looked at him without saying a word. After a glare, he carried Bai Nanxing downstairs.
The temperature at night was a bit low, and Bai Nanxing was only simply wrapped in a shirt and a coat. Not long after going downstairs, his body began to shiver from the cold, leaving him no choice but to keep shrinking into Mo Leyang’s embrace.
“Are you awake?”
Bai Nanxing opened his eyes slightly, his face filled with exhaustion. He was truly tired—so tired that he didn’t even want to say a single word.
Even though, at this moment, he desperately wanted to use his hands to strangle a certain someone to death.
But he had no strength left in his body. Shrinking into the embrace earlier because of the cold had already used up the last of his energy.
Seeing that he couldn’t speak, Mo Leyang felt satisfied. He smiled, lowered his head, and left a brief, gentle kiss on Bai Nanxing’s forehead. “So well-behaved.”
His tone sounded very doting, but only Bai Nanxing knew how ruthlessly Mo Leyang had tormented him in the private room earlier, almost tearing him apart and devouring him whole.
There had been no tenderness to speak of.
Now, as long as he moved even slightly, a certain place hurt terribly.
Bai Nanxing knew Mo Leyang did it on purpose, nothing more than to retaliate for the things he had done before. He was a pure pervert!
Fortunately, Mo Leyang still knew a bit about being considerate. He didn’t dump him in the bar room afterward. After carrying him into the car, he directly told the bodyguard to drive to a hotel.
Bai Nanxing didn’t know how he finally fell asleep. He only remembered that when he woke up, the sticky feeling in his body was gone and his whole body felt clean. Mo Leyang must have cleaned him up last night and even changed his clothes.
He has a bit of a conscience after all.
However, Bai Nanxing didn’t continue staying at the hotel after waking up. He tiptoed out of the hotel and took a taxi directly back to school.
By now, the sky was completely bright. Although it was still early and there was an hour left before class, Bai Nanxing didn’t return to the dormitory after taking the taxi back. Instead, he casually bought some breakfast and went straight to the classroom to sit down.
When the time was almost right, Bai Nanxing sent a WeChat message to Yan Mo, asking him to help bring his textbook along.
However, Bai Nanxing still overestimated Mo Leyang’s technique in cleaning his body. Then again, perhaps it wasn’t a problem with Mo Leyang’s technique, or maybe it was because it was his first time?
In short, after finishing breakfast, Bai Nanxing was visibly uncomfortable. His stomach even felt a bit uneasy, and his head began to feel dizzy. He was like a withered flower, quietly slumped over the desk.
When Yan Mo walked into the classroom carrying the textbook along with some buns and soy milk, he saw at a glance that something was wrong with Bai Nanxing’s condition. Combined with the fact that Bai Nanxing hadn’t returned all night, he roughly guessed what had happened during that time.
“Nanxing, your textbook.” Yan Mo sat down next to him and slowly pushed the book over.
In his peripheral vision, Yan Mo saw several red marks on the back of Bai Nanxing’s neck, including some faint tooth marks. He didn’t need to guess to know how they got there.
“Nanxing, are you… is your body okay?” Yan Mo asked with concern, seeing him lying motionless on the desk.
Bai Nanxing was so uncomfortable he didn’t want to move at all. He only turned his head slightly. “Not good at all.”
After all, they were in class, so Yan Mo didn’t feel comfortable asking openly. If someone with bad intentions overheard, who knew how they would spread rumors about Bai Nanxing on the forum again. Thinking it over, Yan Mo decided against it and only asked caringly, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell? How about… I’ll tell the teacher later and take you to the infirmary!”
This kind of thing wasn’t exactly glorious. Going to the infirmary would be like a self-confession. Bai Nanxing flatly refused. “No need, I’ll be fine after lying down for a bit.”
“Are you really okay? Your face looks terrible. If you can’t hold on, don’t force yourself!”
“It’s not like I’m going to die.”
“You won’t die, sure, but being half-dead is even more miserable!”
“…” That actually made a lot of sense.
Bai Nanxing hesitated for a moment in his heart but still decided to tough it out for now. “It’s fine, let’s talk about it if I can’t hold on anymore.”
The consequence of toughing it out was that throughout the entire class, Bai Nanxing felt like his stomach was fighting with the rest of his organs. His head was so hot it felt like it could boil a pot of water. Finally, unable to hold on any longer, he requested leave from the teacher and the counselor to go to the infirmary, where he spent two periods on an IV drip.
Once his fever had mostly subsided, he slowly walked back to the dormitory alone.
But his body was still very uncomfortable, so the first thing Bai Nanxing did upon returning was to lie back on his bed to rest. Yet, at a time like this, the culprit just had to bother him. Just because he hadn’t seen a sign of him in the morning, the man had sent N-number of WeChat messages.
Now, finding that the messages weren’t being returned, he switched to calling. Bai Nanxing figured if he didn’t answer, this person might just charge from the hotel straight into the dormitory, so he reluctantly pressed the answer key.
“Senior.”
“Finally willing to get back to me, little… school… junior!”
Mo Leyang gritted his teeth as he said those last three words. When he woke up, he discovered Bai Nanxing was gone. After searching around and not seeing anyone in the room, he finally called the front desk clerk, only to find out that Bai Nanxing had already left just as dawn broke. He was more than a little unhappy.
On top of that, after sending so many WeChat messages and not getting a single reply, he felt a bit like he had been tricked into bed and then abandoned. This made him even more upset.
“What, is my little school junior planning to put on his pants and pretend he doesn’t know me after getting out of bed?”
Bai Nanxing thought Mo Leyang would be angry because he hadn’t replied to the messages, but hearing his tone now, he sounded more like a “wealthy abandoned wife” protesting because her husband was away on business all year and her needs weren’t being met.
But shouldn’t he be the one with grievances?
He hadn’t even said anything yet, and Mo Leyang was acting aggrieved first. Between the two of them, who was the one who got “done”?!
Bai Nanxing felt speechless. “Shouldn’t you ask yourself that, Senior? I’m the one who was ‘done.’ Yet, you didn’t even know when I woke up or when I left. Doesn’t that just prove you’re not up to the task? If there’s a problem in that department, I suggest you go to the hospital and see an andrologist. Early detection leads to early treatment, don’t you think, Senior?”
This little thing has actually learned to talk back to me.
Mo Leyang’s mouth twitched, but he wasn’t angry. He licked his lips lingeringly. “Is my little school junior blaming me for not working hard enough last night? Then can I assume that you are unsatisfied?”
Bai Nanxing recalled how “hard” Mo Leyang worked yesterday—there was no tenderness at all, and his technique was appallingly bad. He couldn’t feel anything except pain. How could this person still feel so good about himself?!
Where did he get such confidence!
“Unsatisfied?” Bai Nanxing sneered. “I don’t know which aspect you’re referring to, Senior. If you mean ‘sensation,’ I did have some sensation.”
“Oh, what kind of sensation?”
“The sensation of a cow plowing a field.”
Mo Leyang: “…”
Before he could say anything else, Bai Nanxing preemptively added, “If you have nothing else, Senior, I’ll hang up first.”
Without giving him any chance to react, he hung up immediately after speaking, completely devoid of his previous fearful appearance.
Or rather, Bai Nanxing had never been afraid of him at all. Those weak and helpless appearances before were just an act for him to see. Now that the cards were on the table, he stopped pretending.
Mo Leyang felt even more excited by this side of Bai Nanxing. He was curious to see what Bai Nanxing would be like in his entirety; it would surely be more interesting.
With a laugh, he leaned back on the bed again, resting his phone against his chin as he recalled Bai Nanxing’s description of the “sensation” from last night, feeling a bit indignant.
Was my technique really that bad?
The little thing had screamed so loudly; he had thought it was out of pleasure. Was it actually out of pain?
But it was his first time doing such a thing, and with a man at that. He hadn’t expected to lose so easily to Bai Nanxing—one could even say he had no defense at all. Those “iron-boned” words from before seemed to have been eaten by a dog.
Mo Leyang seriously suspected that Bai Nanxing was a fox spirit in disguise; otherwise, how could he be so good at seducing people and keeping him completely under his thumb?
But if he thought about it carefully, the way the little thing looked when he actively took off his clothes…
Mo Leyang licked his lips reminiscently, only to realize belatedly that a certain part of him was stirring again with his thoughts and showed no sign of softening.
He had made such a solemn guarantee to Zhou Lin, yet not long after, he was slapped hard by his own actions. Indeed, one should never speak too certainly.
Mo Leyang felt a bit of an ache. He got up and walked to the bathroom. He thought he could just take care of it quickly, but the result was that the more he tried, the more energetic he became. In the end, he had to turn on the cold water to finally calm down.
Accompanied by the sound of splashing water, Mo Leyang propped one hand against the wall, head lowered, letting the shower head drench his entire body.
It was cold, bone-chillingly cold, but Mo Leyang still felt hot. The more he thought about Bai Nanxing, the hotter he felt. The images of the two of them entwined last night simply wouldn’t leave his mind.
He was completely hooked…
With the pervert Mo Leyang no longer disturbing him, Bai Nanxing soon fell into a drowzy sleep.
But he hadn’t slept for long before he was woken up by his roommates returning.
Bai Nanxing thought it was Yan Mo. He turned sideways and looked down from his bed; it was his other two roommates.
The two had just come back from eating and seemed to have encountered something happy, as they were talking and laughing. However, when they looked up and saw Bai Nanxing sleeping above, their conversation came to an abrupt halt.
Presumably fearing that Bai Nanxing might hear them, they intentionally lowered their voices when they continued whispering.
“Requesting leave from the teacher again. How many times has he done that this semester? And his credits aren’t even docked. It must be nice to have a family background; everything can be settled.”
“Family background? He’s a bastard child; where would he get a family background? In my opinion, he must have hooked up with some powerful ‘wild man’ outside to back him up.”
“Look at my memory. The Bai family doesn’t even acknowledge his status as a bastard; how could they care about this stuff? Having a good ‘skin’ is really nice, isn’t it? If the family won’t take care of you, you can just sell your looks in exchange. We certainly can’t compete with that.”
“Exactly. Being slept with once can be exchanged for supreme wealth and glory. If it were me, I’d be willing too.”
“I saw it in the classroom this morning.”
“Saw what?”
Just as that roommate was about to speak, Bai Nanxing propped up his body and climbed down from the bed.
The two immediately shut their mouths and pretended they hadn’t seen anything, deliberately changing the subject.
If it were in the past, Bai Nanxing could have completely pretended not to hear. After all, it wasn’t just these two whispering about him. But today, he happened to be in a very bad mood and didn’t want to endure it anymore.
“Weren’t you two talking quite happily just now? Why stop?” Bai Nanxing walked up to them and slammed a hand on the table. “Continue.”
The two were startled. After coming to their senses, they felt that losing face like this was embarrassing, but because they were wary of the people backing Bai Nanxing, they could only act tough verbally.
“Bai Nanxing, don’t think we’re afraid of you. We just don’t want to bother arguing with you.”
“After all, we’re roommates; we don’t want to make things look too ugly.”
Bai Nanxing was almost amused by the two of them. They were truly skilled at finding excuses for their own incompetence. His rising anger was instantly extinguished; he felt it was meaningless. Dealing with such people was beneath him and not worth wasting his breath on. He turned around to go back to his bed.
At this moment, Yan Mo happened to return after eating. He had heard the sound of an argument in the dorm from a distance. When he came in and saw those two looking the way they did, he roughly guessed it was them looking for trouble again and rolled his eyes at them.
He really couldn’t understand if these people had nothing better to do. Every day they just stared at one person to gossip. If the criticism were reasonable, it would be one thing, but it was all damn rumors. A bunch of people following the trend, as if their little brains were wrapped in soy milk and hadn’t developed normally yet. Even though they had brains, they couldn’t understand these things.
Otherwise, as university students and adults, they were worse than three-year-olds.
Yan Mo really wanted to spit in their faces, but thinking about how they lived together, he let it go.
“Nanxing, I brought back the food you wanted.” Yan Mo placed the porridge he bought on the table, then stood on his tiptoes to knock on Bai Nanxing’s bed. “Come down and eat first; otherwise, it’ll get cold in a bit.”
Bai Nanxing climbed down from the bed again and thanked Yan Mo. “I’ll transfer the money to you later.”
Yan Mo wasn’t worried about that; any time was fine. A bowl of porridge didn’t cost much anyway. But seeing that Bai Nanxing’s complexion was so poor, he guessed he was truly suffering, and secretly cursed Mo Leyang in his heart.
As a top, doesn’t he know that in this kind of thing, the one on the bottom is the most easily hurt!
He couldn’t even be a little gentler.
Not to mention it’s his Star Baby’s first time!
The more Yan Mo thought about it, the angrier he got. He took back his previous words. Mo Leyang wasn’t a mad dog; he was a wild boar that had uprooted the best cabbage in his house!
