Marry First, Love Later With The White Cat Princess - Chapter 1
Inside the bridal chamber of the Seventh Princess’s Residence in the Land of Candle Splendor.
Sitting on the wedding bed and lifting the red veil, Liu Fenyun almost jumped up in fright upon realizing her bride was a cat headed person.
Yet, she had already bowed to Heaven and Earth with the person and shared the nuptial cup!
Liu Fenyun was once a medical student who, five years ago, died suddenly from staying up late to study for exams. She transmigrated into this completely unfamiliar world, took over the body of a physician who died during a drug trial, and was bound to a system that called itself “The Divine Physician’s Exclusive.”
At first, she thought the original host was just an ordinary physician, cross dressing as a man to stay and study medicine in the Royal Imperial Hospital.
Who would have thought that in the fifth year after her transmigration, the small country where the original host resided was on the brink of collapse, and to secure protection from a powerful foreign nation, they actually disguised her as the Imperial Son-in-Law, treating a desperate situation with a desperate measure, and sent her off with great fanfare for a political marriage!
It was only then that Liu Fenyun learned the original host was actually the Sixth Princess, who had been dressed as a boy by her mother at the age of five and sent to the Imperial Hospital to study medicine.
Failing to become a princess living in silk and jade, Liu Fenyun accepted it, but what was the situation now marrying a non-human wife?!
Her smile rigid, she assessed her new wife a large white cat with long fur and blue eyes. While she was pondering how the consummation would proceed, the large white cat suddenly covered its mouth and coughed violently.
If she hadn’t coughed, Liu Fenyun would have almost forgotten that this was a princess who had been chronically ill.
Despite her shock, Liu Fenyun quickly took a medicine bottle from her personal pouch, poured out a pill, and handed it to the White Cat Princess: “Your Highness, taking this will make you more comfortable.”
To ensure her own survival after going to a foreign country, Liu Fenyun had specifically inquired about her future wife’s condition before leaving her homeland. Knowing she had been born ill and learning the details, she had prepared some emergency pills for her.
She should have paid more money for more detailed information, so she wouldn’t have been so terrified on her wedding night.
The White Cat Princess did not refuse, extending a cat paw to her.
Liu Fenyun placed the pill on her paw pad, watched her take the medicine, and then gently patted her back to help her breathe.
The pill’s formula was provided by the system, reportedly a research achievement from a higher dimension, and it took effect quickly after being consumed.
Before long, the White Cat Princess stopped coughing, took a breath, turned to Liu Fenyun, and smiled, “Much better, thank you, Husband.”
Her voice was weak and light, like a feather brushing past the ear.
Liu Fenyun didn’t know why she felt the Princess was smiling. Before she could utter the words “You’re welcome,” the cat fur on the White Cat Princess’s face suddenly began to disappear, revealing a stunningly beautiful face.
She looked dignified and striking, with skin as white as snow, slightly curly brown hair, and a pair of deep blue eyes that seemed to conceal the profound ocean. And the cat paw that had received the pill transformed into a pair of fair, delicate hands with slender fingers.
Under the candlelight, seeing the appearance of this foreign princess, Liu Fenyun was stunned for two seconds.
She could confidently say that this was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen in her life.
Noticing her daze, the White Cat Princess subtly pursed her lips and smiled sweetly: “It was an impulse of mine just now, to test Husband’s attitude toward the demon race. I apologize for startling Husband.”
Liu Fenyun immediately snapped back and quickly averted her gaze.
How could she dare to blame her!
“May I be so bold as to ask, Your Highness, are you… a human or a demon?” Liu Fenyun couldn’t help but ask.
The White Cat Princess’s expression remained unchanged. She took Liu Fenyun’s hand and smiled, “This body was once human and passed away four years ago from illness. When I passed by this person’s dwelling, I accidentally consumed her soul. Upon awakening, I had entered her body. It can barely be counted as a ‘possession.'”
“Possession?” Liu Fenyun was astonished. She hadn’t expected the Seventh Princess to also have a different core.
Seeing the expression in her eyes, the White Cat Princess leaned closer, their noses almost touching.
After smelling her scent, the White Cat Princess pinched her cheek and chuckled, “It’s my turn to ask you. You are a woman, aren’t you?”
Her tone was absolutely certain.
Liu Fenyun’s mind buzzed.
It couldn’t be concealed already?!
“I…”
Before she could finish, the White Cat Princess suddenly acted, quickly stripping off her wedding robe from top to bottom, leaving only her undergarments.
Her movements were so fast that before Liu Fenyun could react, she was pushed hard on the shoulder, losing her balance and falling backward onto the wedding bed.
“If I weren’t a demon, I truly would have been fooled by you.”
The White Cat Princess whispered next to her ear.
Her breath tickled Liu Fenyun’s neck, carrying a hint of sweet wine, but her words were sharp as a knife: “The Land of Flowing Silk is extremely brazen, daring to send a female Son-in-Law. This is a crime of deceiving the sovereign!”
Liu Fenyun felt her heart leap into her throat, yet the system bound to her did not sound an alarm, which made her surprised and suspicious, wondering what the other party’s intentions were.
Staring at the White Cat Princess for a moment, Liu Fenyun steadied herself and whispered, “But I don’t want to die. May I ask Your Highness to keep this secret for me?”
She had already inquired with the system and learned that death would not allow her to return to her original world but would instead make her transmigrate to a new, unfamiliar world again.
Having finally established a foothold in this world, Liu Fenyun did not want to start from scratch again.
Hearing this, the White Cat Princess smiled, grabbed her collar, and a cold gleam flickered in her deep blue eyes.
“You say you don’t want to die, so you don’t have to? Where is such a good thing to be found?”
“Whatever conditions Your Highness sets, I can accept.” Liu Fenyun tried hard to maintain a smile.
Although she was prepared for her identity as a woman to be exposed, she hadn’t expected the reveal to happen so suddenly. On the system map, a team of guards was waiting outside the bedroom at that moment. Whether she could survive the night was simply left to fate.
Her collar suddenly loosened. The White Cat Princess lightly hooked her finger, and the red curtains on both sides of the bed dropped.
“In that case, if you can please me tonight, I will keep this secret for you.”
After learning that she was a demon who had possessed the sick princess, Liu Fenyun had somewhat guessed what would happen tonight.
But she was a woman and could not provide the demon with what was typically expected. Presumably, the White Cat Princess understood this, which was why she only asked her to “please” her.
Liu Fenyun was busy with her studies before transmigrating and busy with work afterward. She had never been in a relationship and wasn’t even sure of her sexual orientation. Being asked to do such a thing felt like being forced into a role she wasn’t ready for.
Just as she was about to say she had no experience, the system’s voice suddenly rang out: “Does the Host wish to use [Mirror Play Tutorial (Beginner)]?”
Liu Fenyun: “…”
How could you even provide this kind of tutorial?!
To survive, she quickly agreed.
“[Mirror Play Tutorial (Beginner)] activated. First time use, please ensure the Host follows the guidance!”
As soon as the system finished speaking, Liu Fenyun felt a surge of strange knowledge in her mind.
Seeing Liu Fenyun actively reach out to untie her sash, the White Cat Princess narrowed her eyes and asked curiously, “You truly know how?”
Liu Fenyun took a deep breath, and the panic she had felt was replaced by a forced smile.
“I do.”
She had to, even if she didn’t. She just hoped the system was reliable and wouldn’t fail her.
Untying the White Cat Princess’s sash, Liu Fenyun leaned down, her warm, thin lips gently sucking on the snow white skin.
After all, she was a medical student, and with the system’s help, the act of pleasing was not as difficult as she had imagined.
It was just that she was too nervous, not speaking a word even while kissing, remaining very serious.
The White Cat Princess looked at her strained face, finding it inexplicably amusing. She proactively wrapped her arms around Liu Fenyun and kissed her all the way down her neck.
When the delicate lips pressed against hers, Liu Fenyun’s whole body went soft.
She had never expected being kissed to feel this way!
“Why did you suddenly stop moving?” the White Cat Princess suddenly asked.
Liu Fenyun didn’t fully recover and stared blankly at her.
“Your body is as soft as if you had no bones.” The White Cat Princess’s hand rubbed over her body, and her slightly curly, soft hair brushed against Liu Fenyun’s neck. “You go limp with just a slight kiss. Do you still have the strength to please me?”
Liu Fenyun then awkwardly gave a light cough and continued the unfinished business.
This was the first time, and the other party was a patient. Liu Fenyun only dared to hug and kiss, coaxing the cat until it purred comfortably before stopping.
“Why stop?” Seeing her try to flee the bedcovers, the White Cat Princess slightly frowned, grabbing her back and pulling her into her embrace, her voice like the whisper of a demon, “This Princess is not satisfied yet. Do you dare to run?”
“How would I dare!” Liu Fenyun quickly shook her head, pulling back her clothes, taking out a small porcelain bottle and a cloth from her pouch, and showing them to her. “I just suddenly remembered the matter of the ‘first time’ bloodstain. May I ask if Your Highness needs me to fake the bloodstain?”
Although the ‘first time’ bloodstain wasn’t actually a definite sign of a first time, ancient people were superstitious, and if they were going to put on a show, it was best to do it completely.
The White Cat Princess took the porcelain bottle, opened it, and smelled a metallic scent, but she could tell it was fake blood. She said with interest, “You came quite prepared.”
“Your Highness flatters me.”
“Since you’ve brought it out, then fake it.” Handing the porcelain bottle back to her, the White Cat Princess moved aside.
Not expecting her to be so agreeable, Liu Fenyun quickly poured some of the already prepared fake blood onto the center of the cloth and swiftly smeared the blood onto the clean white bedding.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the White Cat Princess yawning by the side, seemingly tired. She couldn’t even maintain her human form; her snow-white cat tail had appeared, curling lazily on the large red wedding quilt. It made Liu Fenyun feel a little itch to stroke it.
The wedding rituals in the Land of Candle Splendor were extremely complex. Even the physically healthy Liu Fenyun could barely handle it, let alone the ailing and frail White Cat Princess.
Liu Fenyun thought, Good opportunity. After faking the bloodstain, she quickly put away the bottle and the cloth, tentatively suggesting, “It’s late, and Your Highness is not well. Should you rest early?”
The White Cat Princess glanced up at her, stretched out her arm, and said languidly, “Hug.”
Liu Fenyun sighed with relief, carefully picked her up, wrapped her in another clean quilt, and tucked her in.
“Good night, Your Highness.”
After putting out the lights and lying down, Liu Fenyun felt an immediate wave of fatigue wash over her.
She had traveled for seven full days in a carriage, hurrying in the freezing winter month. She had just arrived and immediately had the wedding, plus the considerable fright she had received. Staying awake until now was her absolute limit.
As Liu Fenyun was drifting off to sleep, she suddenly felt a cool sensation in her arms.
She opened her eyes and saw the White Cat Princess nestled in her embrace, her brown, curly hair scattered on the pillow, and a pair of snow-white cat ears growing from her hair.
Semi-consciously, Liu Fenyun rubbed the cat ears. The fine, long cat fur pressed against her palm, tickling her heart. She couldn’t resist rubbing them two more times.
Not expecting her to suddenly touch her ears, the White Cat Princess shuddered and scratched her face with a paw.
“Impudent!” she said angrily, making Liu Fenyun let out a muffled groan.
Clutching the scratch on her face, Liu Fenyun woke up, feeling genuinely wronged.
They were married, and she still couldn’t touch her ears…
